Trolls.

There is a whooooop as their off! Then a " on it Leo the blips have moved off a bit," annnd this was familiar he had gotten a lot better at giving directions and at least was ahead of Leo not two blocks away.


He was eager and thoroughly enjoying this ride! " Donnie has to make one of these!!"[/color]

Leo laughed softly as Mikey voiced his approval of the Sewer Slider and he listened to any directions he might receive.

"It's even more fun to drive." Leo teased. And no, he's not about to let Mikey behind the wheel!

He's pretty familiar with this part of town. At least the non-magical side of it. Should be interesting. He glances at Haley. She probably wouldn't know the area from the sewers, though he supposes he shouldn't completely put that past her.

Mike laughs - then woooooo hoooos -


" does this meaaaan you'll let us drive?!" he asks eagerly.


Sure he'd driven before - and sure he'd had a blast riding the sewer slider more than once, still each and every time felt like the first exciting ride and getting to drive was awesome!


though it looked like they were here.

Mikey almost echoed Mike - then changed tact noting they seemed to have arrived either at or close too the destination. He checks the blips. " yeah -on the way back?" eagerly, it sure seemed damned fun.


Waiting for the go ahead before unbuckling. Light tap to Haley's shoulder, " Enjoyed the ride?"

"Not a chance." Leo laughed as he parked the Slider near a manhole and jumped out. "Mike, remember that time Raph wrecked it?" Leo was pretty sure he had never seen Don so angry at one of his brothers. Luckily Don hadn't caught him, but Raph had been chased with a sledge hammer. To this day, Leo tends to be just a little more careful with the Slider than any of the other vehicles.

Once out and on the ground, Leo offered Haley a hand down. He's excited to see this new part of New York, more excited than he will admit to. Leo actually enjoys exploring and seeing new places far more than he typically lets on.

"Alright, Haley. You're up." Oh yes. This is going to be fun.

Haley had many questions, and was still somewhat in a state of overwhelming emotion about her boys.


She would get around to asking about the farm house mentioned some time -


And though she enjoyed the ride was still mostly in that state of feels - until the ride stopped and it was like the muffling had been lifted and she chuckles catching the Mikeys words and then Leo's taking the hand down and looking about the tunnelling then up at the manhole.


" huh... I should probably... get more familiar with these tunnels and sewers, I know a few around Grandpas shop and home but rest is like a maze." she grins on her feet with a small miss step that meant she had to lightly hold catch herself on Leo's bicep and squeeze he had she had hold of then right herself pretty quickly. ' alright... I suppose... follow me... mmmm I'd say what is smells like but the smell down here covers any being scents." probably another reason why the turtles had escaped magical being notice as much as normal.


She moves to the ladder hops and begins to climb she couldn't just jump all the way up after all, well not in this form.

That time had not been funny in the moment, a tad alarming and well maybe a little hearing Raphael run about dodging Donnie and squealing like a Mikey for a change.


but... but...


it was hilarious now!


" HAHAHAH HAHAHA HA you should have seen Raph - man he squealed liked a me!" hooting with laughter then jumping clear of the slider with Mikey and grinning at the pretty dragon girl.


To Mikey, " do you guys have a April or Casey with a farmhouse... I guess not with um you know them being teenagers like yourselves."

Mikey grinned and landing with Mike, beside him, as Mike describes the moment in more detail, describing the angry Dona nd running for his tail Raph - making Mikey laugh.


" I have learned not to mess with Donnie's toys the hard way too man - only thing scarier than a furious Donnie is a furious Leo." He grins and then pouts a little at Mike's next question.


" April's father still has the family farm, we used it during Leo's coma ... and buried Master Splinter out there..." that bit so sadly.

Leo noted Haley's distracted state, but just let it go. She had a lot to process, and actually the ride to their location was a pretty good time to go ahead and do that. It was just one of those mental notes he makes.  He also noted that she seemed much more present once the Sewer Slider shut down, and she seemed ready. If she hadn't, he would have called off the mission.

“Don's compiled a pretty thorough map of the full system including old subways and other tunnels we've found, if you want it.” He offered. She had, after all, given them a map to the magical world.

When she had that little misstep getting out of the slider, Leo is ready to help catch her if necessary, but she caught herself on his arm, and he caught that little squeeze of his bicep. And he can't resist the play. He gives her a slight cheeky smirk that silently asked if she'd enjoyed that.

“You... get used to it.” He commented of the smell in the sewer. It wasn't entirely untrue. Still, it was always nice to get topside.

He chuckled softly at Mike explaining the incident with the sledge hammer.

"Furious Don is terrifying..." Mostly because it just happens so rarely. He's pretty sure that Don is scarier than he is. Though Leo has never experienced his own wrath, so it's hard to say for sure. "I know I've never heard Raph scream like that running from me."

He frowns as Mikey mentions they buried their Splinter at the farm house, and he puts a hand on the smaller turtle's shoulder briefly.

Once the moment has passed and they're quiet and ready to move once more, he heads up the ladder after Haley.

Haley could only chuckle and even caught up in Mikey tales, seeing Leo's look and waggling her brows giving the muscle a lighter slightly longer squeeze before she was pulling away and still amused but nawwwwing at the slightly smaller Mikey's words. " I'm sorry Mikey... still bet its a beautiful place so theres that." she consoles and half girl half dragon she scales the ladder lightly. Chuckling a bit, " I think the smell might come in handy... might have to take you up on that Leo and seek out Don for the map, I might benefit travelling down here more."


Having to brace her legs and secure Leo was beneath her she pushes the manhole cover up - it was something heavy and an unfit girl her size wouldn't be able to shift it easily, she had dragon strength though so she shoved it away hearing Mikey's below ooooh a bit and maybe enjoying knowing for a moment that they were gazing at her back and muscles as she worked.


then they were up and out and she recognised the bridge and completes her shift watching, on guard to protect the turtles as they came up too. " there is a troll den here... if that blip is here too our target is a troll. I'd normally say they would scent us coming... but as it is we smell like trolls so we might get the drop on them.'

Mike grins at Leo, " well, we have yet to see you truly go all Lion just as we have yet to see Raph go all bear - but yes it was a new novel thing to see Don go all Leopard. And totally scary - I hid under my bed." he admits shame faced about that - though he had watched the event from there under his bed.


He gestures sending the Mikey up the ladder after Leo, " I'm sorry man..." then he wasn't able to pick up on the dragons thought speak but was pretty sure she was speaking so he glances at Leo as she begins to lead off once Mikey was up and kicked the manhole back into place - and ye he'd perved... a little but aside from his ooooh he hoped he hid it well enough.

Mikey missed some of the flirt, down a bit - then Leo's hand made him glance up and he takes a deep breath and squares shoulders again a deep breath, " thanks Leo, and I have to agree a little, Don's are scary mad... only a bit because I haven't yet seen my Leo in full wrath." barely audible.


It was the sort of brief moment he'd share with his own Leo, soft rubs to his head, the kind words.


And so he was ready once Mike set them up after Leo and Haley and he grins oooohing a little himself, " thanks Haley... and ya not wrong, I am so becoming a hippy turtle when I am so old my shell is grey and living out there myself. After training a bunch of ninjas myself of course." voice dropping lower and lower as they got higher then climbed out to street level also wondering what Haley was saying.

“I don’t know, Mikey. I was pretty bad for awhile there. He had gone somewhat insane on Master Splinter before being sent to the Ancient One.

He does quietly enjoy the view as Haley takes care of the manhole cover before following her out. And laughs softly at the thought of Hippy Mikey before softly passing on information to the Mikeys. He also signaled for quiet.

“Sounds like we’re looking for a troll.”

He laughed silently at the comment about smelling like a troll.

“Ain’t sewer travel great?”

" yeah I take it back, that was pretty scary..." Mike agrees catching the signal as Haley leads them out of sight and towards what seemed one of those service door ways under the bridge work where it ran down into the ground as a slip way off the bridge and into these suburbs.


And there was a sort of tingle as Haley pushed the marked 'danger, flooded, do not enter' door open and then let them come in behind her And instead of a concreted space that would have success to underground kept wiring and or a lead down into storm and sewers systems was ... tunnels...


He sniffs the air drawing in earthy dampness and earthy smell and... something else similar to sewerish in pungency and a trashy sort of stank but body odorous too... " this is hippyish..." teasingly in a whisper to Mikey.

" whooooa stepping through there is like being subjected to Metalheads search ray.... tickles..." Mikey comments in whispers staying among Leo and Mike and watching Haley ahead of them, looking down the large tunnelling.


Grinning and humming then shaking his head, " naaaah this is more mole people than hippy so hard pass." he chuckles. Then points at the other openings. " how do we decide on a tunnel?'

Haley blinks in the dark back at the turtles... did they actually feel that? ' that's the magic - it's a barrier to deter non magic folks from coming in here.... and this way the troll smell is fresher this way. Some of these tunnels probably end up opening somewhere into the magic Bizzarre, kinda the magical version of china town... now that yous have been through one barrier you four might be able to pick out more of them and find other entrances into the magical worlds or into magical dwellings.'


And they have probably felt such barriers before - or similar she guessed figuring they go all over New York. And now truly, entering the magical side too.

"Hippies are more patchouli, less garbage... The BO is about right though..." Leo admits almost silently, joining in the Mikey's whispers. There is a special 'scent' to these tunnels, that is apparently troll. Or at least partially troll.

He suppresses a shiver as he passes through the barrier.

"Are they supposed to tingle like that? I can think of three of the top of my head. One in the sewers, two in abandoned subway tunnels. Oh, and one more. Topside in an alley near the docks."

Mikey had definitely felt it, and Leo looks to his brother to see if Mike had too.

" I wanna walk back through there a few more times... that was the sort of delightful shiver as a turtle can get by having some one tickle at the nape of my neck.' mmmmm that would be niiiiiice.


He wags his tail a little sniffing the air.


" I've felt this before... in a few places around the city. One in a subway that's not used. Well its abandoned but I swear I have seen a train disappear through there once or twice... but both those occasions I was not sure, one was when I found Klunk and took her home. Once when running for my life from the previous lair."

" aaaaand singing.... I have a ukulele...." making Mike behind him chuckle and mutter that he liked the smell of patchouli -


Their moving along following the distinct sort of smell and through the tunnels. Mikey skipping every couple of steps full of want some action energy.

Haley led them along her talons clicking - looking back over her shoulder at them and then shrinking - at least half way she looked like a girl with a tail and wings and instead of hair dragons soft spines and ears, her mouth reappearing beneath her nose but eyes remaining dragon.


Nodding and grinning at Leo and moving so he can walk with her when she whispered in normal talk her voice a little gravelly, " That's very observant of you Leo and Mikey and yes they always tingle like that it's the magic working, if you were a non magical creature and had no previous knowledge of the magical community you'd recall urgent business and press on- or see warning signs or blocked off entrances -"


A giggle, " that train is there Mike, it performs a few extra stops through the bizarre for the magical beings to get home or shop or work-" this time her pause because she heard sounds ahead of her, heavy sorts of foot falls.


And faint shadows on a bend in the wall either they reached a tunnel that lead out or to a light source.

Leo is amused by the muttering behind him. Nothing wrong with patchouli... in small doses. But it should not be an alternative to bathing!

He peeked at his phone briefly during the conversation and the messages between the other Donnie and Leo. Seemed like they were going to switch places.

He shrugged at the observant comment. “We’re ninja.” It’s sort of what they do. Though he doesn’t remember signs or urgent business per se. Though, they routinely ignore warnings signs and blocked entrances, so that wouldn’t have stopped them.

Leo stopped as well, and silently hushed the Mikeys. He noticed the same sound and shadows. However, he’s not sure what course of action Haley was interested in, and she had mentioned this was her job.

“Your world, your rules.” He will follow her lead in this.

Mike's would have been chatter about the stank of trolls becomes a whisper as he first notes the shadows and sounds, then the hisssssss from Haley ahead, his brothers warnings mingling with that.


And of course the sudden stillness and quiet from his counterpart, who for most the part seemed in capable of being still or quiet when first meeting, turns out he could be in moments it really mattered. Mike stepped back a bit in the bed pressing back against the wall so he wouldn't be noticeable until needed. Ninja stealth.


That smell grew stronger and Mike held his breath - he'd smelled worse.... but hearing of and seeing a troll close up was something different.


Something with a just sort of too small head, walking up right like a man but with a brutish face with fangs, size of a black bear only skin like heavy pebblish and scaled leather like rather than fur.

Ewwwwwwwwwwwww


Mikey mooouths, but is silent and moves like his counterpart to step back into the shadows.


Leaving this up to Haley and out of sight but close enough to join in any action.


the troll he guessed might have looked a bit like a cross between the one on Harry Potter or the one on Lord Of The Rings. Only it was not as large - half that size, still plenty big though.

A silent sort of chuckle and nod and...


They wait - the troll revealing... herself in the next few moments and seeing the half shifted Haley, she growls " dragon! you no should be here!' rather angrily storming forward at first not seeing the turtles as ... turtles but in the dark and the way they all smelled mistaking them for more trolls or at least orcs.


Haley dodged the large body - it put the bear shaped creature among them..... and she hope surrounded by the four of them. ' Trolls are strong, fast and have great hearing, not so much sight and reasonable senses of smell... dragons and trolls regularly clash, their like... the purple dragons of the magical side of New York... but we should try to subdue her only - she may not be the one we were following but she might know them if they used this tunnelling. If you, Mike and I can get her moving think Mikey could get his chains around her?' to Leo darting in to give the trolls long dreads a yank and her ankle a kick. Drawing the trolls attention from trying to make out the turtles properly and onto herself.


She wanted to breath fire but for all their sakes that was not wise in the confines of the tunnel.

Leo also disappeared from sight, just before the troll came around the corner. The information he got from Haley was a little hard to communicate with signals to the Mikeys! But Leo nodded for his brother to come with him, and a finger to his lips. Quick, silent, don’t reveal yourself. Then he looked to Mikey, pointed to his weapons and mimed wrapping up the troll. Before another signal for quiet. He could only hope the pair got it... He really wished they could understand Haley’s thought speak too...

Then slipping along the wall away from the Mikeys closer to Haley and her opponent, Leo comes up behind the troll as she passed near the shadow he was in, Leo rushed out quickly, no weapons and gave the troll a kick in the side on his way into another shadow. Hoping to disappear once more and herd her closer to Mikey and his chain that may ensnare her.

Mike knew most the signals, and nods, wishing he could hear the voice of Haley himself. But was content with the signals and falling completely silent observes the attack to see what Leo and Haley were doing.


Cottoning on he strikes -


Rushing and more bodily shoving the heavy brutish creature -


Push towards Mikey, and once secured help him wrangle.

Mikey understood alright - grinning and slowly, in the moments there was movement and jostling and the grunts and growls of the troll he lets his chain lengthen to at least double that of what he could hazard at being the trolls girth.


Then he is waiting again for more rush and noise as the bigger turtles work with Haley, impressively to drive the troll his way. looping his chain ready to drop the loose loops over the trolls head and pull tight.... hopefully the fighting and the dragon would keep attention another moment.

"grrrr! dragon stay still!" the troll was fast, and her club crashed heavily into the walls as Leo then Mike turned her different ways with their strikes, Haley rushing to be in place when the troll looked to find what struck her.


Heavy dark wood club making a awful clattering sound with each woooshing swing and smash against the walls.


Haley would say she just wanted information but she knew with trolls that probably wouldn't be possible until the female was at least arms trapped to sides. Smiling, Leo was definitely good at getting the idea across and they were moving the angry female towards the Mikey... She would leave it to Leo or the Mikes to judge the moment to entrap their prey lashing with her tail - deflecting the club swing tot he floor this time.

Leo doesn’t even give the troll a chance to fully turn toward Mike before he hits her again from another direction. He takes care to steer clear of that club. It is definitely wielded by a powerful arm. She’s fast, Especially for her size, but she doesn’t seem quick enough to keep up with Haley AND two unseen targets. Though, Haley seems to be doing her best to make it seem like she’s the only one there, and so far, the troll seems to be buying it.


Hopefully this hit puts her in Mikey’s range, and Leo sticks close enough to help wrangle. He gives Mikey a look, hoping the smaller turtle will take advantage of the disorientation.

Mike was a little slower on the intake. Last to realise that the dragoness was trying to keep the trolless from noting them too much just yet, either enough to confuse her ont he numbers or that they were there at all, so he takes not and adjusts his pace to match Leo's.


Slipping from shadows cobra quick to land a flat smack on the beasts rump and make her squeal roar in that weird troll way and swing backhandedly as she had been chasing the blur that was Leo -


A silent laugh and he was in shadows again.

" daaaaaaaaannnnng I needs to have you guys on runs like this more often..." Haley compliments her tail slapping away the club helping it miss Leo and just barely Mikey on the arcing swing that continued around in a back strike towards him.


They turtles was handling their own more than adeptly and she was pleased, a troll whose sweat out some aggression like this might be more willing to cough up information when trapped and faced with dragon fire...


they were close, all that was needed was Mikey to drop the trap.

Stilfing a laugh himself and well it wasn't polite maybe to a lady but effective way to madden the troll and make her spin and it was a situation Mikey could take advantage of jumping and simply dropping the chains loops around the female.


Her spinning to chase the elusive Mike and Leo took the chains with her momentum and they wrapped tight like a boa constrictor Mikey anticipated Leo or Haley would trip her.

Once Mike hit and the trap is sprung, and the troll has cinched herself up nice and tight, Leo is back, once again from a different direction than Mike had come from. And far enough behind her to keep from being seen.

Like Mike’s first hit, it’s a bodily slam intended to hopefully knock her off her feet now that she’s wrapped up. He then does his best to herd any turtles that might have considered showing themselves now out of sight.

He wanted to get close and see !!


But let's Leo herd him back into shadows and into hiding.


Reaching out to grab the shell of Mikey and pull him back into shadows too - clapping a hand over his mouth to stop any surprised noises escaping the smaller turtle.


Eyes on Haley and the all wrapped up Trolless.

His perfectly ready -


" and thaaaats a wrap!" didn't even get started before a hand as large as his own closed over his mouth and another about his chest yanking him back into the dark and muffling his surprised yelp.


He aaaaaws behind the muffling hand and tries puppy eyes for a moment at both bigger turtles before giving up and watching the Haley and the troll.

Woooow! She jumped despite her surprise and goes down with the troll setting the club on fire on the way down with a small blast of flame from her mouth maybe showing off a little her purplish pink flames colours and the way she could direct it with her tongue to be a tongue of flame that licked at the heavy dark wood then caught and became orange and yellow flames


Sitting on the troll and shrinking becoming human looking and grabbing the club Haley holds it up high, " tell me... Trolless and I will let you up, know of any one dealing in stolen dragon eggs? - and if there have been very weird ... fairy weird .... Look a like men who speak worst than you trolls lurking about?"


She hisses and growls her words, her dragon wings and tail and spine in place still.


Trolless looks up glaring, she wasn't sure but heck this Dragon was fought like four people!!


She considered not saying anything but the fire.... She wriggled trying to escape it " only goblins - handle stolen goods and it's been years since the last was stolen from the Isle of dragons by a animal familiar.... I know not of weirdos and no morrrre!" trying to wriggle free !!


Haley hummmms , ' anything you want to ask Leo? '

Leo is amused at Mike covering his counterpart's mouth as they slip back into the shadows. But he stays silent, and hidden. They're on an active mission now, and he is completely immune to puppy eyes at the moment. Mikey seemed to recognize that. They watched from the shadows as Haley interrogated the troll.

And an impressive, if somewhat disgusting, creature it is! And Leo is sort feeling like he's been around one or two before. Down in the tunnels. At the time they were some of those strange 'someone's here' presences they couldn't place that sent them into the shadows and hurrying along their way.

"Mutants or mutagen can also trigger our tracker..." How do you explain that to a troll...?  "Strange forms of known creatures, or creatures that shouldn't be able to change form doing so. Or a strange substance that's capable of causing that sort of change."

A rub on his counterparts head, and slowly loosening his grip on the slightly smaller turtle, at least once he is sure the guy was going to be quiet and still as they remain out of sight of the troll and Haley watching -


wow that fire thing was cool - and why was her flames that color/ would their boys have the same thing?


he was intrigued...


the flames of the once club now torch would illuminate them so he slips backwards further remaining in shadows and at least the new light was flickering and fluttering in that way flames do so his and probably the other twos moments would go unseen.

Aha he was let go! but now he'd gotten the message to stay back and out of sight so moves when Mike does remaining out of the warmish pool of light and wondering if sometimes in his home and sewers if he's past things like thing troll.


thinking that fire breathing was quiet the party trip.

the troll trashes her body trying to knock Haley off her chest, it would have worked if the dragoness did have her tail out and using it to balance herself out hands reforming the claws she lightly scratched the tough hide of the troll warningly, telling her to remain still.


Hearing Leo's words and thinking how best to ask this of the troll...


After a moment she goes with, " any .... odd or different looking creatures hanging about magical places lately? or any one familiar changed? or anyone trying to obtain or sell usual potions? or potion ingredients?" slow with each question to give the trolless time to think about them.


" Nyx are weird... and a chupacabra been lurking - hunting outside the prescribed safe zones into non magic lands... I no not of potions will has to see the shops..."


Haley hummed sounded like she had a cryptid to punish for possibly hunting non magical critters. " non magical human organs hear of any shipments?"


the troll shakes her head this time -


Haley hums again in thought then, ' mmmm we could check out a few shops if you guys are happy to pretend to be kappa...'

Any light that might illuminate their hiding place is nimbly slipped away from before it can really be an issue.

It's a little disappointing that they didn't really get anything out of this troll, though Leo has to admit that it's not terribly surprising. it sort of strikes him as asking a rookie Purple Dragon about the Shredder's plans. They just wouldn't know. It's just the first rung of what is probably a pretty tall ladder.

Though it seemed that Haley had gotten something of interest to her from one of the statements. Though it wasn't necessarily of use to their current mission, at least the troll was useful to her and not a complete loss. And actually, it's kind of cool watching her work. The dragon shifting is impressive.

At Haley's questioning, Leo gives the Mikeys a sidelong glance before allowing himself a silent chuckle.

"Oh... I think I have two orange wearing turtles here who would be more than delighted to pretend to be kappa. It might actually make their year." and if he's honest, Leo would like it too. It might be fun to wander around as part of the populace for a change.

' haha I see then lets go and have a quick squiz see if we can find the source of that blip here... I hope you enjoy yourself too...'


And as the trolless struggle again Haley whapped her hard with her tail knocking the bigger female out. It wouldn't last long she was barely bruised.


But she shrinks to human form and moves towards the turtles offering her hand into the darkness. " come on then? Mikey how is that blip?" she asks once she had ahand shewould tug and gently lead the way - but quickly so they were out of sight before the female troll came to.

Mikey whooooa ed and noooow he could say it! " that was a wrap!" haha!


And that done he moves past the out stretched hand - as much as he wanted to take a hold of the small fingers - and is careful to loosen his chains before simply pulling them down the trolls body like a sleeping bag.


Making the small but strong links retract back into his chucks before putting them back in his belt. " sooooo do we go kick mythical creature buttoks?.... taaail?" not sure which of those pertained to the goat sucker.


And quiet eager for more adventure!!

Annnnnnnnnnnnnd Mikey took a moment of thought before he got it - slipping out of the shadows too and alllmost reaching for the girls soft delicate looking pretty hand. " ha hahaha haha niiice one." chuckling appreciatively at the joke.


holding his breath a little as he steps around the troll looking up hopefully, " that would be soooo awesome... April is gonna be soooo jelly she'd want to be a part of this."

Leo groans at Mikey's joke.  As soon as Mikey has removed the chain from the troll, Leo is once again herding turtles away from the briefly unconscious troll and toward the next blip.

"I guess that depends on where that blip is." It's a less than subtle hint for Mikey to get out that tracker and use it!

Leo gives Mike a wry look at April wanting to see this. "Yeah... I don't think she'd be that excited to meet a troll... Maybe the next stop though. Come on. Walk and talk. If we come across anyone we're Kappa."

" coooome on she'd at least appreciate the strangeness.... ummmmm how do we be Kappa Leo? like those ones that attacked us at the waterfall during the tribunal?"


Curiously fielding this mostly at his brother expecting the leader to know more about this than the dragoness would. Though he supposed she would know some too.

" are they like the Yokai? and suck souls out through butts?" Mikey grins and nods at Leo with a ' oh yeah' sort of face realising he was not doing his job and retrieving the tracker from his belt and good thing Donnie installed the aesthetics cause at first he had it upside down then seeing the lights and egg beaters he flipped it around and studied it as Leo was shivvying them away from the troll.


And seeing as no one took Haley's hand he reached out now and caught it lifting it to nuzzle the knuckles of her fine fingers.


And he nods, " blip has not moved from last check point." another reason to take Haley's hand so he could just show her now she was beside him.

Leo had to admit that April probably would be able to appreciate the strangeness. She had, after all, befriended them. And by human standards, they were definitely weird.

Once they're clear of the unconscious troll, he answers Mike's question to the best of his ability. After they had fought the Kappa, Leo had taken it upon himself to learn a little more of the mythology. Though, he'd needed Don to do a lot of translating for him, especially of the older stuff, so they had sort of learned it together. Leo was perfectly capable of being just as curious as his purple masked brother. He just had different priorities. And mythology had always interested him. Even more so when it turned out said mythology was real, and interested in attacking them...

”Mike, you seriously need to bone up on your Japanese demonology... Yes, they are a sort of yokai. River dwellers, and yes. They do steal 'souls' or an organ that holds the soul out of humans' butts. Sometimes.” Leo chuckled and shook his head.

”Well, those were huge. There are several kinds of Kappa. Almost all of them are much smaller than the ones we faced. All of them seem to have a dish or sara on their heads that carries their liquid life force though. But since I don't feel like bashing in your skull to be passable, tempting though it may be at times, perhaps we can go with being hybrids. And they tend to be mischievous, though obsessed with etiquette. Follow your dojo rules of etiquette and be yourselves otherwise, and you two should be just fine.”

He watched as Mikey took Haley's hand and nuzzled it. "Cheeky." And he continues to follow Haley and Mikey toward the next blip.

Haley chuckled and felt rather flattered patting the cheek of Mikey in thanks and thus hand taken she leads the way, - and admittedly slows down a little.


Firstly to decided which magic bazaar shop she would need to head towards by eyeing the map on screen in Mikey's hold.


And most importantly so she can watch the turtles reactions as they leave the tunnel and spill into the hidden magical street, shops crammed with all sorts of stuff and hurrying by magical beings, some of them looked human, others definitely would not pass as such. Fairies flittered here and there, even merpeople along streams set for their travel.


She grins watching them as a pair of giants pass them too.

" soooooo bow much and no burping is not considered polite and breaking wind is not a defense mechanism?" Mikey laughs walking with Leo watching Mikey ahead of them amused by his counterparts moves on Haley.


And watching the slightly younger turtle seemed to have this light friendly flirting thing dooooown and he was going to comment about the nuzzling before almost running over his Mikey when they come out into the open his laughter at Mikey's -
