Blue Times Three....

And he was there! a piece of his quiet room in his lair appearing with him, glancing over at Leo's area and smiling - waiting to see if the other would join them - eagerly ...

There is a mingling, Leo has found a spot, Raph is one guard and their small red charge Leo's lap. They'd not lit a fire. He and Raph had felt the occasional touches of the others no and then. And knew Randal had to. Though they'd had no real chance to respond. Or Well Leo had not that is Raphael says he is decent at the contact but up until now they'd been too on the move through this forestry valley filled part of Nexus to attempt it.


But tonight the pair of them have caught up to their quarry.


So his actual world worries as breathed out and his astral plain mingling with those already here. his own just the tree of his home dojo, Leo kneeling under its beautiful green growth and sturdy thick trunk with its pale cool light streaming down the painted lovely doors behind it but of course as astral projections not accessible. He opens his eyes slowly and is greeted by the massive Leo he'd seen before and the other not so tall but almost as board and bigger than he still Leo.


Leo smiles and tries his voice hoping this time he will make sounds they hear. " Hello." well he can hear it but keeps it to that smile greeting until he knows they can too.

Leo smiles as the new counterpart joins them once more. Hopefully they can speak here. This counterpart looks sort of like the Mikey that had been with their Donatellos. Though none of his brothers are in this particular group.

"Hello to you too." Leo adds a bow to the greeting. He's smiling as well when he comes up. There's a hint of excitement that this actually worked! Though with three Leos on it, two of whom are in close proximity, he'd been confident about it. And for this Leo to have appeared earlier, he must be fairly secure in his theory, as Master Splinter has occasionally called it.

He steps along the yellow bricks of his quiet room and moves around the small pool to approach the spaces of the others. He doesn't leave his own, just moves closer to where the three join.

" And what a great relief we can hear the hellos this time." Leonardo adds joining Leo, at the edge of his section, but then steps a little into the others choosing to further mingle their energies and spaces a little, a little of the yellow bricking of Leo's spreads into Leonardo's raise piping spot and some of his graffiti runs into Leo's space. And into that of the more greenish greyish slate looking bricking of this slightly younger then them looking Leo and some of that tree spreads into Leonardos space.


" have you been visited by a white dragon like female yet?" he asks this slightly younger looking Leo.

Leo is grinning but he is also studying the two turtles, closely taking in features and their voices and returning the bow - the big one doesn't bow to them. But he senses it will come.


He nods at the relief of finally being able to hear each other and then Leonardo's words and he sighs a little shaking his head. " noooo... and I know yous have reached out more than once to myself, to the Raphael with me but until now we have had not had a break in our travels to respond. The Raphael - I assume he is your Rapahel." nodding to Leo in the yellow brick space now half mingled with the massive Leo. " says he is practiced at it but not as we are... he is safe and strong if tired. We also have a toddler with us, red as ruby and garnet. His name is Randal."


This is the good news, this is the 'honey' shortly he will deliver the hatchet of bad news. but for the moment he wants to maybe a tad selfishly enjoy a moment of letting another Leo know his brother was doing well. Though he possibly is able to sense in in meditation. " If there has been a white messenger she might have missed us or us her and she might be looking."


He has bad news for the bigger Leonardo. And he is dreading dropping the hatchet. And so hopes the two will first spare him some good news.

Leo smiles slightly as the spaces merge a little.  And he agrees. It's good to be able to speak this time. Though it would be nice to be able to speak with the whole group like they had with the scrying mirror that the Donatellos had come across. And... that must be this Leos Mikey.

“Raph's capable. Just not necessarily... eager.” Leo comments with a bit of a fond smile regarding his own brother's abilities in the spiritual realms. It sort of went for all of his brothers, really.

“The Nexus is a big place. She had a lot of ground to cover.” Hopefully, that is the only reason for the delay. Though... he's pretty sure the feelings he was getting from Mikey involved their damonfeuer friend... He couldn't begin to swear to that, and he certainly wouldn't state that, but it was something of a vague impression he had. Either way, he is somewhat assured that at least a short while ago, she had been safe.

There's something about this other Leo's demeanor though... A hint of something toward their larger counterpart. Before the bad news can be shared, Leo makes sure to pass on good news and perhaps important information. Just in case whatever is causing that... hesitance perhaps? Just in case there's a lapse of concentration that could break the connection. While some of the information might have been clear earlier during the scrying mirror contact, this third Leo had appeared somewhat vaguely for most of that. He may not have gotten a whole lot of information out of it. Leo tries to be as concise as possible.

“I don't know what you could hear earlier since we couldn't hear you... but just in case. Who I can only assume is your Mikey seemed well and in good spirits, and my Don said those toddlers are half dragon, and apparently have wings and some sort of healing ability. He was... extremely insistent that they be kept safe. And with the substantial bounties for anything vaguely turtle-shaped... well...” Leo couldn't swear that the insistence wasn't due to the strong bond his brother had clearly forged with Liam, but Leo could see how the children might be valuable to those attempting to overthrow the Daimyo.

Leo glances to his larger counterpart then to the new Leonardo. Whatever this third counterpart has to say seems to be directed toward the larger turtle. Again, Leo is quick to dish out information that might be necessary before anything that might break their connection happens.

"We're trying to make our way to the Capitol to stop Drako from his attempt to take over the Nexus. Unless what you're about to tell us changes that..."

Leo braces himself, mostly as an anchor. He knows that whatever is about to be said is going to be bad, and likely has to do with the largest Leo's Mikey, as this smaller Leo had glanced that way, and the rest of the larger turtles are accounted for.

Lee is taking a good look about the merging spaces and listening a light chuckle and grin when Leonardo mutters his brothers were plenty capable too but often choose not to partake. " I see that's a universal thing. Though Raph did grumble he should at least try to do this next time... and in that case Raphael and I will keep an eye out for the white female... um did you say... dragon?"


Oh he'd had his own almost run in with a demodragon. " We haven't seen no wings on the boy so far... will he breath any fire?' not particularly worried about it. " Randal seems so shy, Raph and I have been teaching him words and just general things he seems a little behind other kids of his age which I am guess is three from what he muttered at us." a patient smile the boy was shy. " We're doing all we can to protect him." maybe they two travelling turtles Dotted upon the boy, and his fondness was in his tone. He hears about his Mikey and siiiighs in happiness, " thanks... I still don't know what has become of my Don but the times you guys have synced up I know he is generally in good health and spirits. My Raph on the other hand - and"


" and - ... your Mikey." he was guessing but sensed the big Mikey was the brother of this bigger Leonardo.


Leonardo mostly listened. Now he perks up a little and frown a tad, " Is he okay?" a little breathless with worry.


Lee shakes his head a bit, " as well as he can be but...he and my Raph have been captured... we were looking for other turtles and had trouble finding them, but were too slow and came across a battle ground instgead tracking the scene. We finally caught up today" there he finally had it out.

Leonardo chuckles a bit unbeknownst to him Leo was thinking the same about their damonfeuer mail lady as he did, " a big world and she might be held up in the desert with some turtles " some amusement in his tone and decides in effort to make the slightly younger Lee look less hesitant sits back down right there where their world's met and blended.


He blinks when finally he hears the news. " is he hurt?" he asks in a calm voice. Of course the big brother in him wanted to roar and demand they charge off to Mikey's rescue. Buuut he had a group to care for. " is your Raph hurt? and yes dragon well at least half... If Randal has wings you might encourage him to show them by stroke his carapace... But only out of sight... You are aware we are hunted and revered critters yes?"

Leo coughs to cover some sort of noise regarding Erica being 'held up.' He might be happy for his brother. He might be annoyed with his brother. He might be worried about his brother. It miiiiight be a sort of all three at once. And Leo has one shell of a poker face. So... you never know. But yes... he does suspect Erica was held up in the desert...

"Our purple amethyst Duncan says three. I'm inclined to trust him." Leo chuckles. Duncan reminds him too much of a tiny Donnie to think the little guy isn't absolutely sure of his age. "We haven't seen wings either, but Don definitely said wings, and I didn't see any on the one with him. So they must be hidden by their shells. He didn't mention fire, and we haven't seen any here. He just said wings and cure-all in their blood that would make them invaluable."

During the talk of the brothers who have been captured, Leo frowns and looks between his counterparts. He doesn't say anything, just sort of watches them for a moment then frowns in thought toward nothing in particular.

"Do you have a plan?" It's gentle, as he looks up again and sits next to the larger Leonardo where the three rooms merge. Not meant to criticize, just... offer help if they need it to come up with one. And he's hoping that if there is at least the beginnings of one in place that it will help ease the larger counterpart's mind. Well... so much as it would be possible. He knows Raph would never give up on a fellow turtle, but he also knows that Raph's idea of a plan is 'hit it hard,' "And feel free to tell Raph I said to actually listen to some strategy for a change.

"And I know there's not much we can do from here aside from siphoning energy, but if you think of anything..." And now that Don is healthy, Leo will be making a point to siphon some energy off to Raph and possibly this other Leo when he gets a chance.

Lee blinks and glances at the bigger turtle, " have you tried stroking the sheel to make wings pop out?" Curious as he is the one that mentioned it.


Leonardo chuckles still amused by the whole Leo's Mikey and Erica possibly making the desert hotter than it needs to be, and then at Lee's question. " more of a guess really I mean ... I miiight wriggle a bit if you give my shell a good scratching and I know my Mikey will."


A grin and bit of a nod, okay he understood that. And he sits with the other two and looks a little sheepishly at Leo, " not really a plan yet no we've only just got caught up with the strange looking group of abductors, Raph and I landed here in Nexus not to far away from each other and Randal and decided to look about for more turtles, keeping a low profile, dodging out of sight of locals and keeping parallel to the main road through this valley and forestry place. and was a valley away from my Raph and the larger Mikey when we saw the fight and I thiiiink they used some sort of darts on them." Lee explains to Leo, " by the time we got across the valley we guessed the group had a half day head start on us, and I didn't want to tip them off we were pursuing them so we haven't had any fires.... I want to check out the camp before trying to make a plan and I'll tell the Raph but he is definitely all for storming the camp. Though we have Randal so anything we try will have to be careful."


And that's why he's not made a move yet. The toddler hampered what they could attempt. Because he would have to be either in the midst of the fight or on his own when they try something and both of those scenarios gave Lee horrible sorts of anxiety. " I appreciate the energy... though I am not sure what we can do..." a bit hopeless.

Leonardo listens to the story and reaches over patting Lee's shoulder, " Then you may have to assume they are still using those drugs to keep my brother down and possibly your Raph so they might not be up to helping out on a rescue a recon on the camp is the best move."


Then he thinks on how lucky they have been to have local help and adds a little more softly with a glance at Leo here, " annnd this might sound counter intuitive and will be a little difficult but you and Raph should perhaps try finding a local of the area willing to help yous out. Or study what vegetation the local wildlife or the captives are avoid if yous can use something like that to your advantage to free my brother and your own Raph." and maybe Leo had more ideas the slightly younger looking and sounding Lee could try or keep in mind for a rescue plan?

Leo nods in agreement.

"I don't know if we would have even found each other without our local help. We were scattered on separate islands. And I know our Donatellos and your Mikey had a local too."

He considers the situation for a moment.

"How big of a group are you talking? Perhaps if you can follow subtly you or Raph could quietly pick off some of their number." That's also a trick with a toddler. He knows that. And also... Raph. And it might not be much, but even one or two can really even the odds.

The toddler... "Do you have a sling of some kind for him? Even a long piece of cloth could do the trick. Keeps him against you, and your hands are free. It's not ideal, but it might help. I fought with Duncan on my back. Though I admit it certainly wasn't my first choice."

Lee listens and chews on his lips a bit, " I'll take trying to find some local help under advisement. It's possible this awful group we are following might be responsible for some of the destroyed dwellings around here, maybe if we can get ahead and help someone out of their path we might save some and find help." considering...


" or some of the displaced peoples...." maybe maybe... "I'll run it by your Raph and see what he thinks."


He was feeling a little less hopeless about the situation when Leo mentions a sling or wrap. " Know what? didn't even consider that... am now." and it was helping talking to the other Leos, he and Raph could do small things to begin helping their situation coming back to the numbers, " The group is about two dozen, not many all told but certainly well armed and without counting on a able bodied second Raph or your big Mikey ... I'm gonna have to simply keep following the group for now I don't know where we are heading but when we do either Raph or I will pop in here to share."

Leonardo smiles, " Sometimes Leo that's all you can do for the time being is wait, watch and learn. Something, a eventuality will bring things to a head and you'll need to be as rested and well as possible to help Mikey and Raph - they will have to have them awake enough sometimes to eat and or most likely drink if you can figure out those times you may be able to time a rescue right and have maybe a half drugged Mikey or Raph but half is at least marginally better then totally out of action."


He could see their suggestions of what Leo could do now was helping their counterpart relax a bit, possibly with unfamiliar turtles and a toddler he was feeling a tad over whelmed before. " find yourself a sling of some sort and try your best to find some local guidance. Yes, yes please update us when you can. If you can ever find a scrying mirror it will come in handy."

“Stay safe out there. And remind Raph that you can’t help them if you’re captured too. He’ll grump, but he’s stubborn, not stupid. And they’re bound to mess up eventually.”

Leo’s glad to see their counterpart seeming a little more relaxed. It’s not an easy situation they’ve found themselves in, and Leo is glad they have so many extra hands to help with Duncan.

“And if they want to collect on the bounty, they’re probably heading the same way we are, so keeping them in sight might be enough for at least awhile.

Leonardo could sense they were getting ready to let go of this younger by perhaps not very much compared to Leo that is, Leonardo sensed he still was older than both of them.


He squeezes the guys shoulder this time. " Like Leo said we will share strength when we can giving nothing goes wrong on our end. And thank you. Thank you for all you and Leo's Raph are trying to do for my Mikey. And interdimensional brother Raph." Ready to let the link go when the other two were, knowing it was a comfort to Lee to be here with them. And no doubt to Leo hearing about Raph being okay. And Even for Leonardo now he knew the status of his Mikey and that as bad as it was there was eyes on the situation.

Leo isn't going to be the one who breaks this connection. While he's grateful to hear that Raph is okay, he strongly feels that it's the smaller Leo who's likely getting the most out of this. Unless something drags them out, Leo is content to continue until the other turtle is ready to break it off.

And he can only hope that his Raph will fall in line behind the other Leo. With a child involved... maybe. Raph doesn't like to admit to soft spots, but Leo's almost certain there's one for kids.

He also steps forward and squeezes Lee's other shoulder. Offering a little energy, and perhaps some confidence along with it. There's the beginnings of a plan. Take it and run! You'll get them back.

Lee decides to be less stoic about how grateful he is with the return of some focus and a little more confidence in handling the slightly bigger and a tad older, not by much Raph, who had been good all told and less push back than his own but he sensed there will come a time he will have to out stubborn the guy.


And he'd only ever known a Donnie to out stubborn a Raph.


He nods and grins catching the two Leo's in a hug and arm about each of their shoulders. Yes that glad for the contact and advice and energy. His chi glowing. " thanks you two... really... much thanks... I needed this..." he is drawing back. He wanted to linger more but he and Raph were the only two Randal had for now and he couldn't leave the kid at Raphs responsibility for too long on top of keeping watch. He grins at Leo, " I love the little guy... you Raphael is like mine when it comes to children, total softy, all dad material for sure." He is slowly beginning to fade, because he needs to head back but he is reluctant even so.

Leonardo chuckles squeezing the slightly youngest Leo with as much force as he dared to. " It's the least we can do, taking care of ours. And... love the little guy as much as you can from what we have learned about them, their starved of it." Watching as there was a loss of color and definition to the slimmer shorter turtle in blue and moving back a little.


He'd love to contact his sensei most of all. But it wasn't possible he knew.


And now it was time to return. They perhaps didn't have the urgency Lee did but they did have to, who knows were their pursuers were and it was probably time to plot a little  about false trails and trying to get more distance upon the hunters.


Not that Leonardo didn't feel he and Raphael could take down most in a fight and Leo had proven he was as strong, efficient and brave and Raph might be smaller but he was good on keeping the girls and the kid in line in those moments when needed to. And that was very important.


He looks at Leo as more of their third counterparts world fades from theirs... he meant to ask about the tree. It was beautiful.

And he had questions about the uniqueness of the lair that appeared with Leo too eyeing the space now a bit mingled with his own very much bachelor pad meets pipe top arena. " ready too head back too/" Soon it was just them. But he was asking encase Leo wanted to try reaching for another now - he himself trying to sense his father but not picking up on it.

Leo is ready. He sighs and nods. He was glad to hear Raph’s okay, but the trouble they’re getting into seems more real with two turtles captured. He looks at his counterpart, waiting for eye contact.

“Are you okay? Really?” He will ask here just so they don’t have an audience.

Leonardo's blue eyes find Leo's and slowly, cause a grin was spreading over his face, " Better than I have felt in many days, I've been bossy and needling you and Raph as much as possible as substitutes for brothers I could only sense, now I know their both alive. And in reasonable health and spirits... whatever their using on Mikey wont last forever, and he will nee stronger and stronger doses to keep him down... once the supply runs out and wears off he will fight." Amused at the idea.


" And I am guessing like any Raph... even our little one here that Leo's Raph will be most indignant and cranky after being caged... those fools have no idea... That Leo seems young - but capable." He is reassured, he feels more himself now he has a vague idea where his two youngest brothers were and how they were doing.

"And my Raph won't leave a turtle behind." Leo smiles. Glad that even with the potentially bad news, that his counterpart was taking it in stride and confident in his brother. That was good to see. He nods, and starts to fade out himself.

They do need to get back and see where the trackers are. They probably haven't lost them forever.
