Verse Visiting.

Lee at first the sort of tense clipped tones was due to focusing on the mission ahead. And he understood that. Entirely, and had been known to do it too. Though at Raphie's question in the middle of his nod and sooort of sheepish grin at Leo's words because yes it had crossed his mind but it had been brief and he hadn't noted it as a reason to make contact. But he should have - and he finally notes something that perhaps the tension is not from mission focus.


In Leo.


Ohhh he thinks on it and nods and readies to step through the portal with these two " when we come back up through I'll come up first and find a way to illuminate the walkway." somewhat apologetically but also a promise to be more mindful on the way back through.


And the short drop to a rooftop in this strange new reality.

Raph's attempts at distraction did sort of help, in that they did give Leo something else to focus on. They are not sufficient for him to fail to notice the walking on nothing thing. There is a glance to his brother. It's sort of a combination of 'liar' and 'thanks.' Because it's definitely not Raph who is afraid of heights! And Leo will help him out if they ever have a bug issue.

Because Raph can claim he just hates them all he wants. Leo knows the truth.

Though Lee looks like he figured out what's going on.

"If it doesn't work, it's fine. Let's just get this done."

Definitely a little short and clipped. Leo wants OUT of this walkway, but he's not stupid, and takes that brief moment to assess before jumping down to the rooftop below. Reaching out and searching, while seeking a hiding place at least until everyone is together.

It's his usual approach to entering a new environment.

And since it had come up before that the group here was on Lee quickly last time he was here, Leo sets a timer. Just curious. Other than that, this is Lee's mission, and Leo is content to follow.

Lee grins and nudges his counterpart. It s a determined sort of grin, he'll find something that works and help him. Raphie joins in the bumping with a grunt, " better work, is like... almost as bad as looking at bugs ssss -" voice dropping to barely a hissed whisper as they land on a dampish roof top behind Lee - Raphie unable not to look up and watch a little nervously as the little triangle of swirling wave like pinks, purples and blueish green close. The little funny flat as a disc but sort of triangle with the rounded corners portal opener hung in the air. It could easily be over looked by humans as a little bit of antennae or wire connector.


Lee caught his glance as he waits this time, no running off across the rooftops to draw away pursuers and loop back around with weapons out encase he ran into non turtley or not friendly to turtley beings folks as he ran back to the portal last time - this time they were just waiting, and he grins at Raphie's glance, " It will open back up its an automatic exit we just flip back up to it when ready."


There would be no sound when the other turtles arrive.


Just like last time, just a sense that they were coming, like on the very peripheral of the edges of their spidey senses.


Especially for Lee and Leo first and then Raphie too and Raphie becomes stiff. Lee gestures, step back into shadows and Raphie slinks back too, closer to his Leo but not in the way if he has to draw out weapons, Lee hadn't yet drawn out his swords.


The rooftop is the same as any other in any of their New Yorks, a non descript plain rooftop with a maintenance door way a cage where they are able to climb down to the fire escape, steam rising in places, pigeons and gulls and other roosting birds in the various landscape of the other rooftops around them. a starless thanks to city noise and smog and lights - aside from the helicopters and plans far above, He feels... more solid in this verse, like heavier.

After Raph's bump, it might just be a reaction to the touch, or... it's a shudder. Leo is oh so very glad to be out of that hallway, and he shows less nervousness when the portal closes above them. And Lee was quick to reassure them that the portal home was still there. He at least trusts that much is true.

"Sounds good." Though he is definitely not thrilled about the thought of the return trip!

Ah, New York. Seems it doesn't change a whole lot from universe to universe... Though Leo is noticing a difference in how he feels here just like the others. Definitely seems denser, more solid. It's sort of a strange feeling. And if there's just a little experimental movement going on before he picks up on visitors, well... Yeah, he's just getting to know how he moves here.

Leo had already been sort of tucked back in a shadow when he felt the approaching group, and he welcomes Raph into his hiding space when Lee gestures.  Here goes nothing.

Leo keeps his swords stowed for now, but he's in a ready position just in case. Hopefully there's no fight required though. He would really much rather talk. Especially since he's pretty sure that whatever is out there feels... really big.

Lee grins a little, he decides to not go too fa back in shadows, enough that a human might not spot him unless he moves, but wouldn't hide them from another mutant turtle at least.


And there!


Starting just a little as something green crashed onto the top of the airconditioner beside him, croushed in a easy squat and blinking big blue and familiar eyes at him, familiar in the way that they are just like Mikey's blue eyes. And it has to be a Mikey with those eyes and that expression, that grin and oooooh face, those nunchucks it tucks away, and heck he's larger than Raphie! And whilst the bandana is familiar, a bright orange, but the turtle wears more clothing than Lee has ever seen on any of them for a long period, some sports shorts and a loose basketball singlet both varieties of orange.


This Michelangelo's eyes almost bugged out of his skull eyeing Lee, " heeeeeeeeeeeeey your not a creeping Kraaaaang you are a cuuuuuute little turtle! dawwwww like are you twelve?" excitable voice and maybe the jab was intentional, it does make Lee jerk a little and look indignant -


and Raphie beside Leo almost give them both away with a snort, but he manages to just grin - hahahaha!


Oh man it was not a giant, not Slash or Leatherhead huge - but a big mutant turtle, at the very least five foot nine and looked like the weight of a full grown just about ready to hibernate black bear. Lee clears his throat, " no no, not a Kraang, my name is -"


" Leonardo? yeah I am guessing by that blue bandana man..." shifting off the air con, it's a deliberate move to draw Lee's attention as he moves around, lining up to where Donatello was in the dark of the reaching shadow caused by the rooftop door exit room, so that Donatello could scan the small turtle, " Wheres the others that came with you?" not guessing how many there was, because the sensor that went off tried to count how many came in through the portal but it had been a inconclusive two to four... and drawing attention away from the bulk of Raphael creeping from the other side to close the circle around this small turtle and his companion, companions? - Raphael hoping to locate the companions and surprise them. not to hurt them or grab them, just like they had April a while ago just throw them off balance a little -


Michelangelo was moving to cover any sounds his brothers make and talking for the same effect as well as drawing attention to himself.

Leo recognizes this play. He'd probably make a similar call if things were reversed. Watching from their little hidden spot, and separated from the source of the distraction, Leo is watching other things while Lee talks to this larger Michelangelo.

There is amusement at Michelangelo's comment about Lee being twelve and Lee's indignation at the comment. It is carefully kept to himself though, and Leo isn't letting himself be distracted by it. In fact, he's pretty sure the Mike is using it to draw Lee closer to one of his companions.

Based on how he would play it? Leo is guessing this world's Donnie. There's been talk of tech that recognizes the portals, and Leo is betting on some sort of scan. Though it could be a Leonardo wanting a closer look. Still, Leo's bet is on a Donnie. He's too sure of where the hidden turtle is.

Just like the... pretty sure that one's even bigger! He's picked out Raphael's location, and there's a sort of bulky, lumbering quality that Leo can only bring himself to associate with a bruiser like Raph. Only much bigger! He meets Raphie's eyes and there's the slightest of nods, telling his brother where the larger counterpart is. Making sure Raph has tabs on the guy too. If Raphael finds them, he'll be met with Leo looking straight back, and definitely not startled.

And Leo's pretty sure he's got a counterpart out here somewhere too. He's good, but Leo's certain he's here somewhere. Maaaaybe Leo has a general location on this world's Leo, but definitely not pinpointed like Raphael and Donatello have been.

If this were his mission, Leo would step out now. Make his presence known, and he allllmost does, but he holds his position. This is Lee's game, and he will respect that. Still, Raphie can probably see the conscious effort that Leo has to make to hold his position until Lee gives them a signal.

Lee feels the surroundings, but he plays it off for now, because it feels like a bit of a test.


He smiles in a friendly way his hands going up into the air in that seemingly multi universal sign of being unarmed, except a lone smoke bomb he has slipped from his belt in the action and he is mid sentence of ," yes their here we just wanted to be sure it was only you guys here meeting u - oooh no!" fumbling the smoke bomb in his hand, well played as if in response to the way the big but friendly faced Michelangelo moved so it looked like a natural fumble.


The bomb would roll back and burst spreading its Black purple and sparkling smoke in the cloud it is meant to, and Lee remains where he is close to the Michelangelo but if Leo and Raph have spotted other turtles and want to call them out or reveal themselves beside Lee now was the time when it's verrrry impressively so done.


Above them now watching from a neighbouring fire escape Leonardo lets out a silent chuckle, their bluff was called it seemed though he was not seen yet he felt nor his brothers but these other turtles if he could only see one and only had a guess where the others were tucked out of sight. Interesting he'll wait a moment to see how this part played out.


Raphie had not expected the smoke bomb and would have actually thought it was a fumble too if he wasn't close to his own brother and felt this was a bit out on. But hey he was ready for Leo to give him their silent pick a target touch to his forearm or a nudge to the side to join Lee. If he felt the forearm touch more than once he was to find the further away target, by the roof exit somewhere he was sure if a brief and once touch to the forearm it was to get to the closest to which he is sure Leo's nod was right not too far from them and felt big! If a double nudge to the side it would be to get Lee and book for an exit. He waits breath held for Leos decision as Lee clearly left this part up to them.

Leo does take the opportunity presented by the smoke bomb. He had almost been fooled for a moment, but did figure out what Lee was hoping to accomplish. They want to talk, and it does seem that this other group is at least willing to give that a chance.

Leo has Raph stay for now, a light 'hold' touch. Leo is pretty sure he's about to cause a little bit of a surprise for this group of turtles, and would like to keep an ace in the hole so to speak.

Leo himself steps out into the puff of smoke, and is standing there when it clears.

"Donatello, if you want to scan me, please come on out and do it properly." He holds his arms out to the side, not moving as close to the exit door as Michelangelo had seemed to want Lee. Hoping that this had to do with the range of whatever device was being used. "And I know you're there too." Looking toward where he's certain the giant Raphael is. Not showing that yeah... he actually is a little intimidated by the size of that turtle!

There's look toward that fire escape. He's still not certain that's where Leonardo is, but... that's sure where Leo would be watching from if he were in a situation like this. It's a gamble. He might just be looking at some weird point as far as this other group is concerned.

Leo's appearance has the desired affect he was going for and sort of what Lee had in mind, a surprise!


Donatello slides out of the shadows shifting his glasses on his snout a bit blinking in surprise behind the lenses, and the goggles that fell back into place as he moves closer to - " oooooooh my goodness it's actually two! Two! Leo's !!"


Michelangelo is close and wowing at them both and grinning a little when he realises he is just a tad taller and buffer then this Leo!


Raphie stays back in shadows and stays still except for ducking his head as there is a rush of motion behind him, Raphael -oO crap that guys has been eating his Weetabix... And his brothers too... Or at least that lean Donatello's... Whoa.


Raphael is there behind the Leo's and lightly clapping their shoulders. " clever Leo's too, hello what can we do for yous?" a friendly gravely voice that makes Michelangelo snort, the big guy glares at him. " I am not doing my Batman voice. I only saw it once."


Michelangelo looks gleeful, "ooooh the Batman movie yeah but Lego Batman..." he teases grinning at the Leo's.



Donatello chuckles.


Leonardo chuckles and as Leo is looking at the fire escape he has moved, leapt away and lands with a crash on the air con. All sound no damage.


Making Raphie yelp. To his credit he holds his spot, but he had helped!


Leonardo grins eyeing the new comers. "hello Leonardo and Leonardo. I am going out on a limb and saying this encounter has something to do with Kraang."


Lee now notices the gear these turtles has looks... new... Their pants are all dark camps of their colours, weapons had black leather handles with their colours in strips.


Raphie waits for a come over order, even if he has been busted.

Leo almost chuckles at Donatello's responds to his appearance.

Wow these guys are big! And he's careful to push down any sort of response to that massive clap to the shoulders other than a grin up at the giant, giant turtle.

"LEGO... Batman...?" Apparently this movie does not exist (yet?) in Leo's world. Or he is at least not familiar with it.

And Leonardo does take Leo a bit by surprise! Sure, he had been expecting an entrance from his counterpart at some point here, so he does manage not to yelp like Raph did! But there is a bit of a startle.

But it's a close thing. He sighs at Raph's yelp though. There's sort of an amused quality to the motion though.

"You might as well come on out, bro."

And he looks toward his larger counterpart. These guys have some nice equipment... Just a little note he's making to himself.

"Hello, Leonardo, and good guess." Though, a fairly obvious one as they just arrived through a Kraang portal. But this is Lee's show, and Leo is content to sort of step back at this point and back up his smaller counterpart.

They do at least seem to have the big guys' attention. And hopefully his own taking over of a bit of the attention from Lee gave his counterpart a moment to make his own observations of this group of turtles around them.

Raphie grumbles and points at Leonardo, " that was a manly shout of surprise by the way - and you... what the heck have you been eating to get so big?!" switching the bravado sort of making up for his yelp of shock growl to his counterpart, whom to his delight looked surprised at the sight of another Raphael.


The big turtles shoulders lift up and down in a barest shrug, " Mikey's pizzas."


" heeeey!" the orange clad turtle is indignant and punches his brothers shoulder.


Leonardo smiles and shushes any more tom foolery with a soft growl and looks over his smaller counterparts, they were not only samller he notes but felt younger. like the same ages perhaps and built differently, perhaps a year or between them. But younger then himself. He nods to a taller building, " we chased one of you the other day around the rooftops and through the portal again. You?" after a moment looking between the two Leos and choosing the slightly leaner smaller one. He wasn't like massively shorter, just an half a head maybe but was definitely less buff. Leonardo has noted none of them have weapons out so his stay in their sheaths too.


Raphaels maaaaybe are sizing each other a bit and like what they see and have a sai out, casually flipping the weapons around in their hands.


Lee nods and he lets himself bump lightly against Leo, a thanks for the brief moment and back up and just taking some of the attention for a bit as he takes in all he can of these turtles, their older. Twenty at most Lee decides, eighteen at least, and have the swagger of long time fighters but also a bit of casual slouching on the swagger. " yes... Kraang... formerly Kraang Subprime now known as KraangPrime attacked your universe some time ago, and was expelled... he comes from Dimension X, and has been an enemy of my family for a long time, I am just sorry we have not removed this menance and he was able to be a problem if only for a little while in your world. He had become a problem with his minions the Kraang in Leonardo and Raphael Splinterson's realm now. I am hoping hearing how you guys got rid of him so quickly will illuminate how we might tackle the problem for my companions here, and also further build on this network of dimensional brethern we are discovering." okay maybe he didn't mean to sound sooo much like a SpaceNik but he couldn't help it!


Donatello grins a little, chuckling and scans Raphie whilst he can, listening to the shorter Lee.


Leonardo chuckles and holds up a hand, " first lets get somewhere away from possible prying eyes and more comfortable, and do yous have a last name Leonardo?" eyeing the slightly younger Leo.


" Hamato Leonardo."


Leonardo nods and elbowing Michelangelo then Donatello as their closest he bows a little, " welcome Leonardo and Raphael Splinterson, welcome Hamato Leonardo to our universe, I am Leonardo and these are my brothers Rapahel, Donatello and Michelangelo, recently we have taken, with her permission our Hogosha's last name as our own, O'Neil."


That gave Lee a start, and Raphie. Raphie wasn't as good with his own worlds Japanese though the word was familiar he felt if accented differently. And to Lee again a very different pronunciation on the ga end but translated to guardian angel or spirit. But he bows back. Raphie too after a moment and when his own counterpart, with a eye roll at the formalities does half dip down into a bow too.


Michelangelo can't help but whisper to the younger turtles, " why are you guys nekid - ow!" as Leonardo elbows him a little harder this time and frowns as they all stop bowing.

Leo is actually sort of amused by the Raphs and their carrying on. And seriously, bro? Well, hey. If Raph wants to play the bravado game with a freakin' monolith, well... that's on him.

Leo's poker face is coming into play. He's not giving away which of them it was poking around in the larger turtle's world. Though, his counterpart did figure it out quickly enough. As Lee starts his spiel, Leo is slowly allowing amusement to show. Especially at the end there.

"You watch waaaaay too much Star Trek, ...or whatever your world's equivalent is." But yes, that was the gist of their reason for being here.

And he does stand more properly and return the bow. While Raphie and Lee did start, Leo actually keeps his surprise under wraps, playing things close to the plastron. He is curious about the use of the term Hogosha here. And is guessing that perhaps the translation is maybe slightly different? He will ask later. It seems they need to get moving.

"Thank you, Leonardo O'Neil." Absolutely turning it around, and making the clothing sound strange.

And some amusement at Michelangelo's question. No, not offended at all. But he shrugs and answers the question with another question, matching the tone.

"Why do you wear clothes?"

And Leo is ready to move, leaving a Mikey with a conundrum is definitely a good way to keep him quiet for a little while. And he's hoping that it works with this one too.

Lee blushed, deflated a taaad and squirmed as Raphie elbows him, " Space Heroes... admitting that yep he does watch it ravenously like any good fanboy.


Leonardo laughs and nods and sets of heading upwards, because he knew there was a beautiful rooftop garden and a fantastic city view also privacy up there! And he liked the way he at least startled the others not sure what it was, and agreeing. " I was gonna say he sounded a bit like a Game of Thrones king. Sounds like a speech that is usually followed by declarations of King of the North!" not missing that kinda made Lee fringe a little but figuring maybe they had a version of GOT and he hadn't liked the ending either.


Raph's are hot on their heals.


Michelangelo trailing with a " what... what? - huh? Why sooo we wear clothes?!" not quiet but definitely thinking on it!


All four of their phones are going off Michelangelo answering his with a laugh, " Everything is fine Been we on it the signal is nothing to worry about." teasing The Falcon about not getting his feathers in a flap.


Whilst Donatello answers more politely but with a grin, " We have it covered April, yeah it's fine Casey nothing to worry about will fill yous in soon."


Raphael meanwhile choosing to answer the police number. " talk to the turtle - ya we out tonight and nah nothing to worry about Comish Vincent city is quiet."


The smaller turtles were in the iddle the bigger guys spreading out at a light sort of barking chirp from Leonardo as he stays closer to his counterparts and answers his phone. " Good Evening Karai, no it is being handled no need for Foot. Yes, Watashi mo itoshite iru yo." hanging up as they reach the beautiful gardens opens shallow pond space the sounds of water trickling and a view to kill for spread out around them. " excuse the phones Leonardo's and Raphael we have other people watching for unusual disturbances since Kraang too and well it's important to reassure them." gesturing for all to make themselves comfortable blinking a bit when Lee plops eagerly down.


Lee wowed this was a magnificent view but thankfully for Leo a solid footing and their not a the edges. He grins at Leonardo his embarrassment of before forgotten. " You said love you too! Though the accent and word placement a bit different."


Raphie waves a hand, " and can you guys call me Raphie and Leo Leo and this one Lee please makes it a bit easier..." delighted and amused that Leonardo seems to squirm a little this time - hah!


Leonardo is a tad blushie! " in the past ninja clans have made marriage pacts to become bigger. I am taking the Foot under control. To do that I have made it a goal to marry their current leader Karai now her father is gone. And so far it's going great... and our clothing is mostly habit from trying to follow human customs of course if we went about with just some padding and bandanas no one would see anything but tails if we allowed even that but humans get hilariously squeaky when we are nude."


That would help his Michelangelo and help with a couple of their questions. A nod at Raphie as Raphael sits, Michelangelo sort of flops down beside Leo and Donatello sort of remains on his feet moving about a bit. "yous tell us your stories of Kraang and then I will tell ours."


Now Lee noticing the golden keys these bigger guys wore.


He takes a breath and it might be his mission but he still glances at Leo to see if he should go first.

And that was the first pop culture reference that Leo actually caught tonight!

"I've heard of that one. It reminds me of Master Splinter's stories... only with dragons." which, given their own dragon avatars, Leo had found borderline offensive.

And amuuuused as turning Michelangelo's question around had exactly the desired effect.

Leo is eavesdropping on the phone conversations. It's hard not to honestly.

And apparently, he's the odd Leo out, having absolutely zero interest in Karai as a mate! He only juuust managed to hold his tongue, keeping from asking - for now - if Karai was Leonardo's sister, or related in any way.

Leo is mildly amused as Leonardo answers his rhetorical question intended to throw off Michelangelo.

"Donnie has a sweatshirt and hat for if he needs to provide first aid." Leo admitted. It's sort if along the same line. Don has been attacked more than once by a victim coming to and panicking at the sight of a mutant turtle. "And some winter gear for when it's cold. Other than that? It's restrictive and difficult to acquire." So he does actually answer the question now that they're somewhere quieter.

"Your social circle seems decidedly bigger than ours." Especially as Leo is pretty sure Raphael called someone commish. Like Commissioner?

Leo does nod at the offer to go first. His is probably the shorter story.

"Honestly, on my world, there's not a whole lot to tell yet. Don and Raphie interrupted the Kraang trying to purchase trafficking victims from the Purple Dragons, our local street gang. We chased down the lead, and in the process, stumbled on Lee's Donnie. Kraang Subprime apparently has some plans for our dimension."

Sure, lots of details left out, but the basics are covered.

" Mmmm hmmm with dragons and Noble speeches like that.." teeeease directed at Lee and a poke at his small plastron. "whatever your bursting with over my Karai, there is not much to tell, she's beautiful and a deadly ninja, a good person, adopted by our Oroku Saki as a daughter with another adoptee Eric Sacks. As her father is gone declared dead and brother in prison for life the Foot clan is hers. Soon to be mine-" a glance at Leo and smile, " maybe it's still a getting used to it all phase, Ms Rebecca Vincent is the police commissioner and we are sometimes training under her and swat to work with law enforcement. April O'Neil was our owner as a child and when we were hatchlings, she helped free us from the lab where we had been kept and has become very sort after adventurous reporter for Channel Nine Need, Vern is her camera man and our cover guy when we can't expose our hand and Casey is a police officer in investigator training, a good friend. Donatello set up alerts for them in emergencies encase time is of the essence, if we didn't answer they would have rallied troops and come. We had to answer calls to prevent that." pretty sure that all covered a few questions these two Leo's had but hadn't asked and that edgy Raphie looked on the verge of asking in blunt Raphael fashion.


Grinning a bit and shrugging as Michelangelo looked puzzled. " clothing is a strange human concept and they get weird about lack of, these are issued by the Commissioner, she insists when we are out at night we should have some tactical gear and clothing to fit the part if we join police or swat on the beat."



This had answered some of Lee's questions and he huhed a little. Why had he never thought of trying to work with police in his universe? - mmmm maybe another time.


There was an attentive quiet at Leo's story, or um briefing really and he smiles and clears his throat, no more wonderings about the difference between this Karai and his own Karai. Or more amusing talk about cloths cause Michelangelo was muttering it would be nice to be tail free. And owing in a complaining tone as Donatello bops him up side the head. Raphaels both sniggered at that.


But it fell quiet again as Lee picked up the story of the Kraang starting with what he had learned was their history, how KraangPrime started out, the long time plan and invasion of his world how it caused unintentionally his and his brothers and fathers mutation, a little about who Splinter had been as a human, why he had e'en in New York and looking for companions and ended up with a whole new family.


How he and his brothers lived under ground with their father on a diet of mosses and algae and bugs (both Raphael's shudder and look greener than usual. Michelangelo wonders out loud if roaches taste crunchy if fried in peanut oil. Lee goes on moving to his and his brothers first night topside and the run in with kraan, meeting their April, DonnieBoys immediate head over heels infatuation with her. And finally rescuing her, making their first human friend.


Well seemingly human. The story moves on the the adventures they have with the Kraang up to his coma... The invasion of New York. Loosing Splinter the first time.


Winning back their home and striking a blow against the Kraang finding their father. Karais mutation... And on and on until the last battle with Kraang destroying KraangPrime and the lose of Splinter and destruction of Shredder at Lees hands. He doesn't go on to the adventures after that, the battle for earth from triceratons or the bug Lord Dreg or the supernatural. Because that had little to do with Kraang.


Leonardo looks thoughtful absorbing everything his counterparts had said for a moment as Raphael snorts and looks sceptical. " your Bebop and Rocksteady are trying to be good guys?"


Lee nods, he supposed that part of the story is amusing, especially as it was the talk of his Mother that turned the tide for Rocksteady. But hey whatever worked.


Raphie wows a bit sounds like Lee and his brothers had not as many maybe but as crazy adventures as they and he shivers a little. It's one thing to slice and dice robots he supposed to behead a deranged monster...


As Leonardo is thinking over everything and lightly pats his counterparts shoulders in a mmmmm and brotherly sort of way, Michelangelo pops down next to Leo and grins, " do you watch the stories with your dad? Ours likes Gilmore Girls and Grey Anatomy and NCIS." conversationally.


Donatello had the stories recorded encase but doubted he needed to replay them Leonardo was thinking over them and he knelt and once he got a nod from his leader he waits a moment until he had Lee and Leo's attention. "ours is sort of a quick story too..." and he waits for full attention before he will tell it about April's father working for Sacks, willingly creating a cure all with a sample of mutagen - about Kirby O'Neil learning what it was for and becoming unhappy, destroying his lab and everything in it, Sacks shooting him whilst April had been escaping as a small girl, hands full of four hatchling turtles and a single surviving old lab rat.


He explains their mutation had happened once the substance left in their bodies without any further addition or extractions and them being so little and their Splinter deciding he wanted to care and love them the way Kirby had April.


They grew in the sewers, and snuck it as often as possible once passing fifteen years old and at almost sixteen and already huge reuniting with April through an adventure with Sacks, of bringing him and Shredder to justice and all that happened after that, Shredder's escape and meeting Casey and the police as a result of Raphael's attempt to break into police headquarters.


Kraangs attempted single technodrome invasion and how they esponged him quickly and when Raphie looked confused and asked as the story faded what happened to their Shredder Donatello shrugs, "we don't know. He's just gone. Been gone for a while now, Karai has taken over the foot and extended the idea for peace, Leonardo extended back a marriage pact." to solidify their position as in charge of the clan and Leonardo as their new leader either above or beside Karai. He smiles inviting me questions whilst Leonardo is still processing the two tales.

"The similarities and differences between the various dimensions is sort of fascinating." Okay, maybe he sounds a little like Don on that one! But he actually means the history and origins of each group. Definitely a Leo interest. "Though you're the first group my brother and I have come across that originated in a lab. We were dropped in a storm drain after a near wreck, when some mutagen fell out of a truck."

"Karai, Oroku Saki, April and Casey are familiar names. The rest... I think Vern is a familiar name from the another group's world we were stuck in once. Our Casey's a mechanic though, not a cop, and April used to work in a lab. Now she runs her family's old antique shop, and does some computer stuff on the side."

When Bebop and Rocksteady come up, Leo has absolutely no idea who they are. "I don't think we have an equivalent of them. We don't have much in the way of other mutants... anymore. Until recently, it was just Leatherhead and Hun."

There's a slight chuckle at Michelangelo's question.

"Not if I can avoid it. And Definitely the Gilmore Girls. Also Days of our Lives."

There is a 'don't even think about it!' look to Raphie as Leonardo tells of Michelangelo and Raphael crashing the police station!

The whole Karai thing is just weird!

"Am I really the only one of us that doesn't have that sort of interest in Karai?" Okay, maybe once upon a time, he had been a little fascinated by her, but that was before she had tried to destroy his family while he was away! It had been one of those things that Leo just couldn't fully forgive, and why there is a slightly uneasy truce between them now.

Raphie gives Leo's look a innocent 'wouldn't dream of it' look - one that made his counterpart bark a guffaw and slap his hell with such force he almost face planted! and he grins at Leo, " aw come on man you at least found our Karai a babe, a hot dangerous babe. though yeah man after she almost wiped us all out guess it is weird to hear you two have hots for your Karai's... especially you weird she's your sister... okay adopted and a snake mutant so not related to you at alllll but still... weirdo." playfully at Lee who looks so indignant this time he had all the big turtles and Raphie chortling.

Michelangelo laughing but also grinning at Leo, " baaah some of them aint that bad don't know what your missing dude." he grins relaxing, and he likes these smaller turtles!

Donatello mid chortles nods at Leo, " its possible in relative terms our universes are closer together in the same space on different frequencies so there are the similarities and the difference. Originally we were Box turtles." amused by the slightly smaller Lee's face.


Which turns into a squirmy blush as Leonardo raises an eyeridge at him - " yes... I may have a bit of a problem seeing as my Karai almost wiped us out a few times before she took over the foot and is now ... well one of my girlfriends." squirrrrrrrrrm!


Laughing Leonardo clapped the little dude on his shoulder. " well you know nothing says meant to be together like almost destroying you... mine never got that close to it... and she can't resist me now." he grins at Leo and jogs him with a elbow, " sounds like you have a good reason not to be that close to yours... thats understandable - mmmm I am not sure how we can help with the kraang to be honest we only met him briefly. But if we can I'm all for it." willing to help out.

Glooowwwwer at Raphie!

"She destroyed our home, separated all of you and nearly took you out one by one! That doesn't exactly make a solid foundation for any sort of relationship."

Really, the sort of truce is about the best he could ask for. Especially since they seem to be in a similar place with Bishop at the moment too.

Though he would trust Karai first.

And a chuckle at Michelangelo. Leo is very well aware of what he's missing! There's a reason he keeps a book in the living room!

Leo smiles when Leonardo agrees to help if there's a way for them to do so.

"At the moment, I'm honestly not sure either, but we really do appreciate knowing we have allies. And I thiiiiink there's another part to this. We'll try to find one, but here." Offers Leonardo the interdimensional shell cell he'd been carrying. He's sure there's another around, and that the rest will have the feature in the next few days.

"It definitely works between our dimensions. Should work here too."

Raphie grins at the glower - but there is a sincerity to the grin, its a 'I'm teasing you bro - and I know bad joke.' sort of grin and slight bump against Leo and chuckle with Michelangelo.


Lee watches the phone being handed over and... he stands up and paces as Donatello had been, " I don't know.. I think... maybe there is a way for yous to help... something in your story about sending the technodrome back to where it came from ... I just... mmmmm you see you guys are about the size of the dark turtles from their universe so maybe we could use yous as a bluff or a buffer for them when..." he knows his thoughts are disjointed... there is something of a plan niggling at his mind involving the trap they had though of setting with disguised as toddlers Stitch cousins... and maybe Erica can be a part but not on the field... if a recording of her voice is as powerful as the real thing... breakign the hold KraangPrime had on his followers for good... using the help of these big guys to keep the other big guys engaged in a battle - a mock one, one that looks real enough but is just to keep them off the feild, protect them...


Leonardo leans closer to his counterpart that is still sitting the phone in his hand, " thank you for this, we... we really would like to help, your right it is fascinating to meet other worlds turtles and form allies and... well it would widen all our social circles that bit more... also does he also do that?" pointing at their smaller self... did he look that crazy when planning something?


and the slightly smaller them is muttering and amusing and confusing Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo - moving back and forth...


Raphie shreugs, " not suuuuuure but I recognise some of his chattering as the vague plans we sooort have thought about in regards to dealing with the Kraang without killing every Kraang... hopefully turning them away from KraangPrime." he explains as best he can soooort of puckishly wondering if he could trip over Lee?

And what made it worse was that the attack had happened while Leo was away. He hadn't been there to help. Though he knows that his absence during that time had been absolutely necessary, and he doesn't dwell on it, it still bothers him from time to time. Which had been sort of exactly why he had been gone. So he could have incidents like that which bother him, without letting them consume him.

It also helped him learn to let the bad joke go. Especially since Raphie actually seemed to be acknowledging that it had been in poor taste.

"They're our clones from 2105. They're not evil, but they're pretending to help the Kraang." Leo took just a brief moment while Lee was thinking to clarify things he could. Especially since Dark Turtles sounds evil.

And Leo smiled at the thanks for the phone.

"You're welcome. You never know when an extra turtle might come in handy."

And chucking at the wondering, and a nod to Raphie because Leo is getting the same out of the babbling, before almost playfully, begrudgingly admitting,

"I am pretty sure I do things like that too." Then adding a little more loudly to sort of break into Lee's thoughts. "Though an occasional complete thought would sure help the rest of us follow the plan." Mostly tease! And similar to things his brothers have said to him.

Knock of shell edge against shell edge as Raphie moves closer to his brother, it's a 'sorry' but also because he laughed at the way Lee was pacing about and mumbling and was juuuuust moving to where he could stick his foot into Lee's pathway without being incredibly obvious about it!


Chuckling at the slight self deprecation on Leo's behalf cause yeah those words did sound familiar!


Lee huhs? And looks puzzled then ohs loudly - and " oh right right sorry yeah um... well i was thinking this trap we are setting for the Kraang, if we can get you big guys to help keep other big guys busy. Not actual fighting though but like they would know when a ninja is being serious or pulling punches Accck!-" tripping over a foot in his way as he starts to pace again! But he just continues his train of thinking down her flat on his plastron.


Ignoring sniggers from three of the big turtles and Raphie's sniggers too! " aaand use the beacon to return all the Kraang in the trap and hopefully with the appearance of these big guys it will be all of them - back to dimension X to be held until we can turn them back from the hive mind into utroms."



And he was avoiding explaining how they would turn them away, because he wasn't sure Leo wanted to reveal the existence of a siren. Maybe Erica but not what she was.


Leonardo nodded, he agreed on occasion an extra turtle would have been very handy to have at his shell and side. Gentle with the phone and then with a chuckle giving it to Donatello and his oooohing face to look at.


All of them watching the Lee explain himself at Leo's prodding a little more clearly, Leonardo amused by it all. And nodding, "sure I wouldn't mind helping out if we can. And that sooounds like a plan." he was not missing that some things where being left out but suspected those details will be revealed in time.


Though Michelangelo was so very curious and picked up on some bits too! " what's the bait for the trap? What do these aliens that look like chewed up wads of gum with tentacles want from you guys?"


Donatello listening but marvelling over the phone.

Leo manages not to join the sniggering of the other turtles when Raphie trips Lee. Though he cannot say it hadn't been amusing. It's not easy to literally trip up a Leo! The bump to Raphie's shoulder for the shenanigans is sort of two parts 'pay attention' and one part 'Ha! Good one.'

And he is considering the plan.

"That does sound like an effective way to draw out as many as possible."

While Leo does have a good feeling about these guys, he's not eager to overshare. And at the moment, Erica being a siren isn't exactly necessary information. And he's pretty sure the Donnies really want to do more testing before they actually jump in on this plan for de-Kraang-ing the utroms.

Leo considers Michelangelo's question a moment, debating how much he really wants to tell. This internal debate is covered with a light chuckle. Michelangelo's description is both sort of disgusting and apt.

"We have some help from someone who can cause others to shapeshift. And some appropriately sized, consenting volunteers that will be the bait. As for what the Kraang want...?"

In the end, he just comes out with it.

"They want our kids.'

Whatever the big guys had been expecting.


That was not it.


And even Leonardo was taken by surprise, startling so much he toppled out of the comfortable crossed leg sitting he was doing and eeeped softly doing so!


And it was luck his brothers all all busy gaping to notice this!


Like Raphael was openly gaping all wide eyed like he had been when Donatello just justed out of a plane.


Michelangelo was frozen in place Annnnd


Donatello was now playing catch the soap with the phone he almost dropped in surprise!



" y your kids?" As in... little mutant turtles?" Leonardo is trying to sound composed again and failing!



Raphie will take this win, he had been chuckling at Leo's bump against him. Now was sniggering at the taking this mob of turtles all of them line backer big, by total surprise. Wait no heavy weight see champion big! The Rock Dwayne Johnson biiig.

Leo is actually rather amused at the kerfuffle he's caused with that statement. And can only hope he's made the right call on this one. But he was pretty sure family would be important to this group too.

He snags the hot potato phone out of the air and offers it back to the very, very tall Donatello.

Then Leo nods. A little slow, but very clear. Yes, he's serious. No, he's not messing with you.

"As in little mutant turtles." And Leo pulled up a picture on his own phone to show the big guys. It's a couple of the kids playing, their wings tucked into their shells at the moment. And Leo chose this picture because the lighting subdued just how impressive their colors really are. It's still easy to tell that they're jewel toned, but it doesn't look outside the realm of possibility for non-magical species.

Michelangelo is first to shuffle forward the look eagerly at the phone as Leonardo behind him growls, " oh that is not on.... they won't get them." family was everything!





Donatello shuffled in to look too and he and his Michelangelo woooows Donatello easily rationalising the colours of the kids. " albinism? Mmmm Not luecism that usually has dark eyes in contrast to the bright pale oranges and yellows, rare in reptiles unless breeding for it." thoughtfully and paging a little as Raphael squishes him out of the way, Michelangelo nawwwwing and wriggling eagerly on the spot. Because Malcolm and Randal coooould definitely pass off as albino babies in this picture probably some strong extra color genetics making for the bright red and lack of same in the more orange yellow child.


"dawww their so cute! What's their names?! Maaaan Leonardo you have to get onto making these straight away... honey moon is usually for that yeah?!"


Leonardo spluttered.



Making Lee and Raphie chuckle this time!



Leonardo begins shooing up his brothers and takes a turn looking over the photo, oooooh okay maybe he should get on making a few of them sometime, if possible. He smiles at his counterpart and nods, "that's really cool, their beautiful - and family, would never let some alien get them." oh he definitely understood that.


Raphael nods, " oh absolutely."


And none of the bigger turtles asked who the father was or father's, mostly cause like the younger counterparts, everyone would be dad even if say only Leonardo fathered little ones.


Lee smiles, [0066ff]"I know right? Adorable! my mates have declared we have to be twenty five before we even thiiink about making any of our own."[/color] Annnnd threatened to turn him into a frog if he badgered them about it before then.



Mmmm might be worth it though...


Raphie can't help puffing up his plastron a bit, but he does grown at Donatello a bit not understanding. "wassit you saying?"


" oh it's just genetics talk, but to be red or this yellow orange color in infant reptiles usually indicates a parent or parents the mutations for albinism or luecism. And a few extra genetics for recessive markings."



Leonardo smiles there was excitement in Donatello's tone he would of course love to study the genetics! He touches the photo gentle but not to swipe to any others. "thank you for sharing."

Leo looked to his counterpart. "Thank you." Truly. He really does appreciate the help.

He is pretty lost in Donatello's biology talk.

"I... don't know, not really my department..." Though he would bet similar theories had crossed Don's mind. He just kept them to himself. And they haven't really had much time to breathe and consider things like that since the kids arrived.

Leo chuckled as well as Michelangelo made his brother splutter.

"Liam, Randal, Duncan and Malcolm." Leo pointed out each little one as he listed them off.

"And thank you. I have a feeling we're going to need all the help we can get on this one."

Michelangelo elbows Donatello, " yeah man not everyone is a geek - and sides how would that account for the blue and purple?" tease to his brainy brother.


Donatello didn't look put out by either Leo's lack of knowledge in that area or Michelangelo's teasing he just hummmms in that thoughtful Donatello way and taps his chin eyeing the blue and purple children, " weeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllllll there are some color morph variations in some species of aquatic and already visiual colourful types of turtles, like red lipped sliders in this universe a little more colorful that our bow turtle breeds, not as much as saaaay painted or maps but almost and there is a malantistic res trait that causes makes what would be a solid black in melanistic animals look washed out and appear blue or purple or grey." he puzzles, but is suspecting the parentage of these little turtles was something else if that was the case, the colors came from somewhere else. But it was still possible.


Leonardo nods back to Leo, and then huffs when Raphael can't contain himself no more and bumps bros out of the way to look close rand nawwwwww ignoring their huffs, " oooh they so cute!"


The blue clad leader just raises an eye ridge at his oh so big and bad mountain of a brother completely going to mush right there... then focus back on Leo and Lee, " I agree, just... well when yous know what yous have planned let us now and how we can help." offering a hand shake out to the smaller Leo's, leader to leaders.

Leo chuckles softly at this other Mikey and Don. It's sort of strangely familiar, but not at the same time. Honestly, Leo has no idea the details of the little boy's coloring. Other than dragon, Leo doesn't know much. Though he does have some understanding that as far as these things go, dragon reproduction doesn't seem to play fair. He wonders if their genetics also have their own special rules. Probably a question for Haley later. He shrugs again as Donatello speaks with the long explanation of possibilities.

And there's a chuckle at Raphael's reaction too.

"Thanks. We think so." Because of course the kids are adorable!

Leo accepts the hand shake.

"Thank you. We really do appreciate it. And we'll be in touch." And turning to Lee. It's a silent check to see if there is anything else, or are they ready to head back?

Lee was sort of lost in the genetics talk.... and blinks. " waaaaait does that make my mate albino or leucistic?... she has green eyes as a snake."


Donatello eyes him like he was nutso but thinks on it, " Leucistic, a albino would have red, pink or very pale blue eyes from lack of pigmentation..."


Huuuuuh Lee accepts this - then ooohs and accepts the hand shake to, " indeed thanks Leonardo, we... we hope to have a detailed idea soon... or at least more of a plan to share." he nods.


Raphie sniggers at his counterpart and nudges him, " its the curse of the cutegen, thoroughly irresistible."


Leonardo chuckles and keeps Leo's and Lee's hands just a little longer in his massive ones, no squeezing just to hold their attentions a little. " you mentioned another world with possible Kraang connections, check in on them sometime. Might be more allies or at least one less dimension for another SubPrime to try escaping to and trying this again." he says gently letting go of the others hands and offering another small bow. " thank you for including us, we... think you guys have awakened unknown paternal urges..."[ chuckling a bit at that cause sure looked like it with that raspberry Raphael blew at Raphie. " come on we'll head back to that rooftop." standing.


Lee had nodded, huh he hadn't thought of that, but now - ooooh yeah. Maybe not tonight? he will get Raphie and Leo back to the portal hall before worrying about it. " we'll keep you up dated on the xtphone there." he points to it.


Raphie makes sure they have their phone and climbs to his feet amused with Raphaels nodding.

Honestly Leo can't disagree with Donatello. Lee is nutso. Not only is Karai sort if his sister, Leo is pretty sure snakes are one of those things that could successfully prey on turtles in the wild. He's not certain, but pretty sure he saw that in one of Don's shows a few years back, before he lost interest in genetics.

"Especially since we don't want to give the Kraang time to get a stronger foothold than they already have." No, Leo definitely wants to act sooner than later. But they need a solid plan first.

Leo chuckled at bringing in the other group of turtles.

"We will definitely contact them too. They're a little goofy, but good hearts, and they're scrappy." He is pretty sure they can count on an assist from the counterparts they met a couple years ago. "I am pretty sure their Kraang was exiled, and again... sort of goofy which I suppose could be good or bad." It was possible that if this Subprime went down that their Kraang might be able to find followers.

And another chuckle at the Raphs and Leonardo's paternal urges that have been awoken. He could understand that!

"It's definitely a unique adventure." He then nods, ready to head back to the rooftop they arrived on. And nodding agreement that they'll keep in touch.

"My Don and Lee should both be in that phone if you need contact us. And I am willing to bet the rest of the numbers in it will be outfitted with the interdimensional calling sooner than later."

Raphie was about to spill just how nutso Lee was about his mate... mates...


But eeeps a little as he had been moving about to be in his preferred at Leo's right and slightly to the right - and finding himself stubbing his toe and tripping -


Lee to his credit looked gewnuinely innocently surprised though it was his foot! " duuuuude I'm sorry!"


Grumble grumble as the others laughed.


Lee returned the bow. " we'll do what we can Leonardo, and keep yous and the other turtles in the loop indeed, we have met them too on two occassions, like Leo says a little odd, and their style is ... unconventional but it works and I thiiink I heard Kraang Subprime when he was the subprime call that turtles Kraang cousin - and seemed rather embarrassed by him so I am not sure how much of a threat him and his Shredder companion are... what of your Shredder... if yous had one?" curious.


Leonardo shrugs, " last we knew of Oroku Saki was that he had beamed upon Kraangs technodrome war ship and then his vitals just dropped out of all existence as far as we can tell." a glance at his Donatello here -


behind them Raphael still guffawing lightly lifted a grumbling Raphie back to his feet.


" yep just simply vanish, I am not comfortable with assuming... dead - just gone - like the tracking I had on him picked up elevated vitals like he was angry or frightened, angry is my guess and then blip - vanish." he does his best to describe it.


Lee hummed he didn't like that but well as long as that Saki was out of commission for now it could be a problem for another time - and Leonardo's question look was meet with Lee explaining. " ours is ded, I beheaded him, and he was briefly resurrected but choose to return to the spirit realm himself with his necromancer so I assume he is gone for good." and a little more comfortable to declare that than Donatello appeared about his. Leonardo nods and moves to the edge of the building to begin the trek back a glance full of the same question at Leo too also a grin, " well maybe my some day wife will wnat to try... for now I am just working on gaining her trust and building ... something to build a good marriage on." yeah sure he wanted her clan, but doesn't mean he couldn't try to be the best husband she could ever want even with his very turtley hide.


Lee hides a grin moving to the edge of the roof too.

The move is nonchalant, and near imperceptible, but just before Raphie falls, Leo is clear of his landing zone.

"I can't take you two anywhere." But it is playful. He is amuuuused. And not the least bit surprised that Lee got Raphie back for that trip earlier. And Raphie absolutely deserved it.

Leo sort of nods, accepting the information that the Kraang they'd met a couple years ago had been referred to as a cousin of Lee's Kraang. He is sort of frowning at the information about the demises of the other dimensions Shredders.

"Our Shredder was 'destroyed' in the beam of that cousin Kraang's upgraded Technodrome." He doesn't actually make air quotes, but the others can probably hear them in his tone anyway. "But we have thought him gone several times before. Karai says he will return someday, and given the number of times that has already happened, I am inclined to agree with her. That cousin Kraang and his Shredder companion actually helped us in that battle. As far as their threat level... low to moderate."

His own Shredder is not really a priority as far as Leo is concerned, but definitely something he sort of quietly keeps an eye out for. And he is not concerned about the other Shredder and Kraang they met. He doesn't want them around, but he's also pretty sure they're not interested in his own dimension. As for these larger turtle's Shredder... That sort of disappearance has 'he'll be back' written all over it. He keeps his opinions to himself though. It's entirely possible that the Kraang just destroyed the guy. Leo's own Shredder seems particularly resilient.

Leo smiled at Leonardo.

"That is probably the wisest course of action." Hey, Leo's own kids weren't his choice, but he wouldn't change a thing.

Well... except letting the Kraang get them in the future and use them to destroy the world. And that he will move mountains for.

He moves to follow Lee.

there was a little thought about his Shredder. Vanished and no one knew where. Lee on the other hand knew his wasn't coming back, he'd choosen already to return to the afterlife and seemed thoroughly done with the living as it were. Seemed his one life purpose had been one of hatred and destroying Splinter. It was a sad way to be but at least that was over. And his Karai ruled the Foot Clan now with no Tatsu to try pulling it out from under her.


Leonardo thanked them for the stories though.


His brothers all nawww and Leonardo gives them playful shoves - a few moments of roughhousing and a moment to grin as a recovered with massive Mikey hand up! Raphie lined up with Leonardo and Leo, " and if your like that guy... and maybe that one -" he points at Leo then and Lee, " you will succeed." and when had Leo's done anything by halves when they put their minds to it really? He grins at Lee's sort of heeeey - both at the 'maybe that one' crack - that fades to a sort of proud look to be included among Leos that didn't do things half way.


It was all or nothing.


Raphael sniggers a little and well if he hesitates at the edge of the building it is brief and he lines himself up with the metal bracing between windows and with a hop begins the slid down ward to lead the way down safely... for ninjas that are used to this extreme par kor. " wow... wonder how that would go with a human." Lee muses and drops onto his shell to follow Raphael paying attention to his sliding down the building looking for the signs he was launching himself or slowing himself. Not missing Raphael's pause, maybe this Raphael was not the fondest of heights just like Leo?


Michelangelo wooo hoooed and went next, Raphie curious about the answer to that and lining up with Leo and after a moment going after BigM, Donatello gestured for Leo to go next, calling down an answer... or his best estimate. " well... it's a wild guess... some snakes birth live young and some lay eggs... maybe you will get a mix given her human origins? if already human I would assume live birth with a shell thats at first soft that will become infant hybrid... if it has a shell." he is moooostly guessing with what he understands of gestations of his universes snakes, humans and turtles. " but I could be wrong maybe it's eggs all around?"


Leonardo waits to go last to keep an eye on his larger than usual team tonight. Smiling at the chatter. And well puffed plastron a little, who could help it? Raphie was he supposed right Leonardo's do try to give it their all.

With the Foot clan truly established under a new leader that won't follow the Shredder, Leo is pretty sure that, especially given a little time, the clan could be turned to good use. For his own world, he trusts Karai except where the Shredder is involved, and even then, she has shown that she will usually make the right decision... eventually.

Actually, he's of the opinion that Chaplin is very good for her. And as long as he gets to create whatever he wants he doesn't really seem bent on destroying the world.

A slight smile at Raphie. There was a diplomatic moment! Yes, there's a little pride that his brother thinks that of him, but also he's proud of Raphie for that moment of diplomacy! So there's a bit of a 'thanks, bro' in the smile, but also a 'good job,' there too.

And absolutely, all or nothing. Raphie is exactly right about that!

"If your Foot Clan is anything like ours, there's a lot of potential there." Given the situation described, Leo actually finds Leonardo's plan sound. Even if it would be completely distasteful in his own world!

There is a bit of amusement with the conversation between Donatello and Lee.

And had that mountain of a Raphael paused there at the edge of the tower before starting on his way down? Really? That was interesting. Leo gets it. And Leo might be paying a little more attention to how the descent is going than he might normally! Because this one looks like a doozy!

Leo does join the descent when he's silently told to do so though! There is no hesitation in the moment. He has definitely learned how to take direction as well as give them! So no one has to tall him twice!

When they do reach the bottom of their descent and when there's a moment, he will touch Raphael's elbow. A silent 'I see you.' Not enough to make it obvious to anyone that isn't Raphael, but hopefully enough that the massive turtle catches it. Yeah, Leo saw that moment, and he gets it, and respects what Raphael must have had to do in order to do what he does.

The ride down was a rush, cool wind snapping at their bandanas and the cool smooth metal under their shells and there is a brief moment where Raphael will perch use his weight to slow himself just enough to make his launch off a cornerstone gargoyle one that would make him easily cover the distance to a rooftop the diagonal the original one with the portal hidden on it, it was a good spot to land!, had a neat row of air conditions that hid the shapes of ninja turtles!


Behind him came the others - Michelangelo with a showing off with a launch that allowed for a neat flip over and land - to which Raphael ruined with a light shove!

And he will blink at Leo's touch, and for a moment had to think on what it meant. But he does offer a grin around the toothpick he is chewing. He was getting better at the hesitating on those larger jumps. And it was nice when it's noticed even if usually he tried his hardest not to show the moments, like going first.


Leonardo had landed and lightly straightens up Michelangelo in his shove stumble and grins at Raphie and Leo then over at Lee, " well thanks for those, I am not as nervous as some might be with what I am trying to do but the boosts of confidence definitely are not going amiss." at the corner of the shadow, hidden but where he was he could count the little crew and make sure once Donatello was there they were all there and also that they landed without being injured - as long as they followed Raphael's lead should be okay. And also here he could see the original rooftop and make sure it is still clear of humans of any sort. Checking upwards to make sure nothing with rotors was zooming about.


Mostly news choppers trying to get more than blurry images of them in action.


It is clear and he grins but doesn't draw attention to the moment between Leo and Raphael, of the way Raphie still looked pleased. about his own Leo's look, even just resting in the dark like a shadow like the rest of them.


And he was pleased! It hadn't really been his intention but he is please with himself none the less!


Lee huuuuhed in a silent sort of way thinking over Donatello's words and then well shrugging a bit with a " that sounds fascinating." and it did and he knew he didn't need to be too worried, his DonnieBoy would be all over it if that situation arose, now or later in the future. Well no still worry but well just like Raphie said Leos didn't half tail whatever they set their minds to, so too did Dons.


Leonardo grins, its clear and he shifts in the shadows over to the original building by slipping around the smooth water tanks and over the cables between buildings. " either way those are one day things to puzzle out, for now... Kraang to focus on." once their close to the place the curious little portal device hanging above them looking like a uninteresting bit of wire stuff and not much else but in truth was a piece of tech Donatello would looooove to take home he knew, " I may wish our circumstances for coming together were more just casual visiting but, glad to have met you both Leonardo and Raphael Splinterson, and finally you Hamato Leonardo." a


" you too Broths O'Neil." wow that was weird to think that was their last name, but cool too! Launching himself upwards and tapping the center of the touch pad on the little device making the triangular doorway open up once more.


Raphael grins and subtly bumps Leo back for his touch, " yeah when you guys have a plan or something of a plan yous know what to do." a silent thanks to this Leo.

That was one incredible ride! He did follow Raphael's path closely, and made it down fairly easily. Leo is silent as he lands, though he hadn't gone for showboating like Michelangelo had. He can't help but chuckle when Raphael shoves Michelangelo. Apparently, even across dimensions, some things never change.

Leo has definitely found that it's typically best that he just make the jump. Spending too much time thinking about it is when he's more likely to have a problem. At this point, he knows himself pretty well though, and does pretty well with heights.

There's a slight grin when Raphael bumped him back. Sure, it's an interdimensional brother, but Leo feels a little less weird for. A little more normal. Knowing that there are other ninjas out there who have had to face a similar fear is sort of strangely comforting.

"Agreed. Leo is definitely all for focusing on the Kraang at the moment. Though he doesn't really mind the conversation that Lee was having with Donatello. Leo and Raphie should probably be getting home though. There are others waiting for them.

"Perhaps some casual visiting can be arranged at some point as well." Leo had rather enjoyed that evening with Lee and his family. And he would be game for another!

Leo stands behind Lee's words too, agreeing silently, letting Lee speak for their group as a whole. He is definitely glad to have met these larger turtles.

The barest nod of a 'you're welcome' to Raphael for the bump because he feels it's important! "Thank you." He really does appreciate having these guys for allies!

He nods for Raphie to jump up after Lee next. And Leo will bring up the rear. Only partially because he's not super excited about going back into that tunnel with the whole no floor thing.

The larger turtles will appear to melt away into the shadows - but their feeling is still there as Lee vanishes, Raphie right behind him - and landing on what looks like a yallow brick road that has a slight glow to it -


" oooh thanks April." Lee grins and Raphie blinks almost not recognising the young April for a moment with her black jumpsuit, hair fluttering in a ... power breeze? eyes glowing yellow.


" ooooh this is coool..." he waits eagerly for Leo to follow though, soon they should get home, who knows they are all about to arrive back home at the same time. And it should be a less stressful return home for his brother. And a little jazzed from meeting giants! They will definitely need them sometime in this fight!


" no worries Lee, everything go alright for you guys?" She asks in a voice that has a strange echo to it.


Lee nods, used to her, actually hers, powers by now. He knew they were standing on anything really, she is just projecting, making it seem there was solid bricks to walk on to Leo and Raph's portal opening.

Leo is right behind Lee and Raphie.

If Leo is startled by the yellow brick road, and this other April's appearance, he's not showing it. He is startled. Thankful, but yes, the different look was somewhat unexpected! Still, Leo is very much playing it close to the plastron.

"Very cool. Thank you, April."

Leo is fairly certain the road is an illusion, but he appreciates it all the same. He has figured out that they don't really need a path like this here, but it's definitely appreciated!

"Better than I'd dared hope." Leo agreed of their encounter. He had been pretty sure that the venture would go well, but he had definitely been ready for it to go sideways! And was ecstatic that it hadn't! And that they had those new, huge allies!

Even with as well as the visit had gone, he is eager to get home!

Raphie is ... maybe acing more weight in each step then really necessary - "this is cooool how'd you do it?" he wonders entirely missing the brief moments April winced at his thudding steps.


She grits her teeth a couple of times and siiighs, but pretends it didn't happen, and smile at Leo and Lee " awwww glad to hear it guys, we could always use more allies, annnnnnd it's really just a sort of energy wrapping for the platform that was there." she explains and follows them along to the other opening back to Leo's universe.


Lee poking Raphie for the stomping, but also amused and apologetic to April as they move along this time switching back to Leo's follower as this was his universe they were going back to.


Raphie grins sheepishly! eager to go back and maybe he can toss Mike out of bed and snuggle with kids and Haley! " so very impressive April." nudging Leo's side, " dad and Mike will be thrilled to hear the good news too, also Dons if their back." oh yeah just A eager!! To be home!

Leo did notice the way that April seemed to grit her teeth when Raphie stomped about on the platform. And when Lee poked him, Leo bumped him for the same, a silent "Knock it off."

"That's impressive." He doesn't know how she's doing it, and he'd have been okay without it, but this is definitely preferable. And he truly appreciates it.

Leo does accept the change in position as they approach their doorway to head home!

"If they're not back yet, they probably will be soon." The Donnies and Erica had already been gone when Lee got there. "The kids were asleep when we left, but care to join us?" There's an open invitation for both April and Lee to join them, at least to share what they've accomplished. And he will wait for responses, then slip through the opening back into their own world!

Raphie was in the middle of a frowning whaaaaaaat? back at the Leos when he realises just what in the last stamp finally catching the frown on April's face - ooooh! " They may be asleep but no one says you can't go and oogle at the utter adorableness from the door way or sneak in and melt beside the bed." he offers in a rush this as he follows Leo to the entrance stepping light as a feather and silently.


April's headache eases, she grins at Leo, " Thanks for that I work really hard on the definition of the color and textures." and she did! - about to decline, she was supposed to be on hallway duty - but Leo's offer, DonnieBoy would be there and -


babies!


" ooooh I doooo I soooo do want to oogle babies - and see DonnieBoy, maybe say a proper hi to Don without such a crowd and being a awkward awful psychic mess - but I -" oh a bit of shuffling and hopping on the spot.


Lee laughs and moves over to her catching a hand, " come on as soon as everything is settled I will come and take over hall duty..." he offers and tugs her along -


not that he has to long !


" okay okay okay - ooooh yes please Leo, thanks Lee! ooooh come on come on I wanna be a melty mess!" soooo eagerly.


Raphie is poorly hiding snorts at this!


Yes it meant the hall was unguarded for a bit but... Lee sighed sometimes a little bit of happiness among his team members was more important than a strategic gatekeeper - sides he will excuse himself shortly and take over.

"I can tell." Leo commented of the work that April had put into the pathway. And it had clearly taken effort, especially obvious when Raphie had been stomping about.

There's a soft chuckle at Raphie and April. Though he did note that Lee had concerns.

"Do you want one of us to hang back for a bit?"

And just a gentle reminder for April about boundaries.  

"Just don't go poking about without permission, and it will be fine."

And Leo slips through the doorway!

Lee grinned at Leo, a tad sheepishly, but gratefully and as their stepping back into the garage he reassures Leo, " no, thank you but no -" And their back in the garage!


Raphie and April behind tghem, Raphie looking ridiculously smirky pleased at April's excitement at getting to go goo goo over the little ones. And Lee didn't blame her, they were perfectly cute after all.


" - though it probably would be a good idea to rotate watches with you guys more on the portal corridor, but for at least an hour I think it will be okay - I'll go back and watch it once DonnieBoy is back." And a thoughful look, " And add to that April when we have two April's in the same spot can we use HeadCase's nickname for you? Red?" just for clarity of course like he was Lee when around Leo... and now Leonardo too he supposed.


April is in the middle of nodding to Leo, looking apologetic, " Promise to do much better and have actual manners this time." even crossing her heart, " Alright thats cool - and now pleeeease can we see babies?" eeeeeing.


Raphie sniggers and bumps her, impressed she made no excuses this time just apologised. That went a long way most of the time here. " Whoooa Red, first we check in with Masta Splinter -" sniiiiffff sniiiiffff, " drink the tea I can smell he has made for us, wait for boys with the brains to come home with squid gal and theeeeen we go see babies."


Red tilts her head curiously. " oooooooooo okay lets do that." eagerly but quietly, and nooot reaching out to feel babies sleeping minds, just keeping it to herself and will wait!.


Raphie chuckles and puts the portal on Don's work space on the shelves so they could see it, but it was out of toddler and little girl immediate reach annnnd looked innocuous among the other items on the shelf. Then a nod and he will lead out this time heading towards the smell of tea and could scent immediately the arousal of their human family. Well raze Casey later about that, now he just claps his human bud on the shoulder. " hey guys - we're back... ooooh teas! cheese and whiskers what a good idea!" and how the heck did their dad know there was an extra?!


How?! And he fish eyes Leo a bit a look that clearly said he suspected Leo and Splinter had special Jedi training and just knew things...


They just knew!
