Hawaiian Honu

Lilo pours all the love and gratitude she has for this amazing man into that kiss. That he thinks she is amazing that he loves her island and people as much as her. And that he was so kind to many, no doubt cementing in their brief first greetings to the sweet old fruit vendor and lovely coffee family, the sheriff and her hula teacher that Honu were amazing.


Which she already knew. So yes definitely a whole heap of smooching gratitude! She accepted easily this meant a home wherever it is will be full of brothers and father and those beautiful boys and she actually of course adored the idea. To here clearly the more family the better. She doesn't know he would hope this would be where they settled one day.


And she giggles when the ends swimming backwards to a small rocky out crop, it had a small shelf of sandy edging and here she sits patting the spot beside her for Leo the waves at this time of day will slosh and move against then both but at high tide this little reef rock will vanish beneath the waters. But it provided a spot to park their butts and she will wait until Leo is comfortable.


And only then tapping the water top in light threes. Waiting before repeating.


Until the five foot silhouette darkened the water.


Here Lilo grinned and watches Leo as the shape swims closer to them.


"ready to meet the fish that controls the weather?" and she will only slip under when Leo does.


They would have to drop two feet but there in the water the shape will resolve into the form of Pudge. As big as a groper, five foot long and round as Leos is, the color of a sunset to a beach from the dark orange blending down to a pale sandy yellow belly and long strong fins. Typical puffer fish shape with the wide strong but flat mouth and big eyes, a few scars showing he earned his size on this spot of reef. Dark blue to soft blue spots decorated him randomly.

Lilo reaches out a hand to rub his fishy snout.


He turns a little in the water as she does to get a good look at Leo with on white silver eye.

This has been a wonderful afternoon, meeting Lilo's family and starting to see her community.

He does hope that his family could settle here some day. But he's afraid to actually put it out into the universe yet. His brothers and father haven't even visited the island yet. Though he does think that at least most of them will like it here. It certainly has its benefits! And between the technology that they have access to, and potentially some magic from Haley, well... going back and forth between Hawaii and New York wouldn't be that much of a problem.

Leo easily follows Lilo out to the outcropping and settles next to her. As she's tapping the water, he looks to the item that they brought with them.

The offering for Pudge, the fish who controls the weather.

"How does a fish develop a taste for peanut butter, anyway...?"

Though the words are almost cut off as the massive shape moves to the surface in response to Lilo's call! He nods a bit in response to her question.

"Ready as I'll ever be."

And he follows her.

And Pudge... is huge! Leo honestly didn't know that fish got that big! He hasn't really come across many ocean fish, and doesn't realize that some of them out in the deeper waters can reach incredible sizes! So Pudge is enormous! But Leo wouldn't really have any idea whether or not this was normal for the species.

Whatever this fish is, it's beautiful! Leo watches as Lilo reaches out to pet it. Leo doesn't do so just yet. He allows Lilo to pet the fish, and gives the fish a moment to at least get a good look at him. He is near Lilo, but he has entered Pudge's space, and he will allow the fish to decide whether or not to actually come to him.

He trusts Lilo, so believes her when she says the fish won't bite him, but it is definitely a larger creature than he had first anticipated!

Oh if Lilo knew she would excitedly make plans for how to make room on the Pelekai house!! Buuuut of course struggle to not say anything out loud to the rest of Leo's family until he was ready!


Pudge's eye is fishy, but the appraisal in his eye is... very intelligent and as he nudges into the patting hand he moves closer, if a fish could he shocked, he was.

And Leo's chi will flair when Pudge moves to encourage Leo's patting to, Lilo had reached her other hand for Leo's to bring to Pudge as the fish moves closer.


And Leo's question is not forgotten, but little does she know when they touch Leo will be able to hear the thought answer to the question. She was planning to answer when she needed a breath! And well also that is a sandwich choice she made as it was all a then six year old Lilo could make.


"cause of all human inventions peanut butter is glorious and feels so good!"

This is probably, at least in part, exactly why Leo hasn't said anything. He's pretty sure that in order for it to work at all, it will at least need to seem like it's the idea of someone who isn't him.

He can encourage it, but it can't seem like it was him dragging his brothers into it!

Leo is sure though, that once they've had a chance to visit, there's an awful lot here that would be incredibly tempting for his family. Especially now that they have the kids. It would be really nice to raise them in a world where they don't have to be as invisible as Leo and his brothers had to be.

As they approach the fish, Leo is impressed at the intelligence he can see in the fish's eyes. And can fish be surprised...? Interesting...

He hadn't doubted Lilo's words about this being the fish that controlled the weather, but if he had, any and all doubt would have vanished the moment that his chi lines flared in response to the fish!

What??

It's Leo's turn to be momentarily shocked, though he does recover quickly. Whatever this is... it's not just a normal fish.

He would have been more shocked by the thought speech from a FISH if it hadn't somehow triggered his chi lines! And he does respond to the comment about the peanut butter.

~Fair point. I suppose I cannot argue with that.~

He's not sure this is a conversation Lilo can hear, so he doesn't assume that she will be capable of introducing them at the moment. He does stay close to her though as he pets the fish... thing. He is certain it's not just a fish, but whatever it is, is incredible!

Oooooh! there was... magic? or chi?


Pudge flippered in more surprise and pressed his whole head up into Leo's hands and pats - he would have chuckled if he could have in this form at Lilo's surprised -


" Cheese and crackers!" shouts the shocked hawaiian girl, spluttering a bit when she momentarily forgets to paddle, like she has been doing her entire life! and thus not rising with the slightly larger swells of the water around them, more being swooshed over by it!


" Oh come on your many times great great grandmother was named for the sea child - ack!" the giant fish was mid being very amused by this when he too becomes distracted and surprised and bumps against Leo - yep also forgetting how to 'swim' in a fishy way when the -


Honu spoke back to him!


" How - what? you heard me?! I am Pudge! - uhhh at least that is what this young human calls me - wait I must do this properly!" impressively!


He had not done this for many a year! He turns int he water and yep without his sandwich for the moment shoots away as fast as his tail could propell him to his reef, moving his rockery away with his strong puffer fish jaws, reveling his hook. grabbing the massive, Donnie bone staff length long curved piece of goddess enchanted whale bone, swimming back!


Unable to laugh but very amused by Lilo's


" I knew he wasn't an ordinary fish!" and because Leo was closer - probably a move she didn't see as she was choking on sea water for a moment there! longer than necessary shocked by Leo's chi lines flaring up like blue octopus rings and making him all the more primally beautiful! And her attempts to be smug were wasted with her surprise and the residual splutters!

Since Lilo did seem to come out of her startle okay, Leo can't help but chuckle at her exclamation. Sure, he'd been surprised by it too, but he actually did know he could do that, so it's not the sort of shock for him that it probably was for her. He is nearby if she needs assistance, and so far, he hasn't been shocked into nearly drowning himself.

Leo was a little surprised that Pudge seemed equally surprised by Leo responding to him. Wait what was that about Lilo's ancestor...?

"Yeah, I--

He normally would have responded to the quick words of the fish, but as it was, the fish had rushed away!

Leo is definitely amused and curious about what is going on out here! There's a light kiss to Lilo's cheek as they wait for Pudge to return.

"Definitely not an ordinary fish."

Pudge was returning with.. a massive hook? There's a glance to Lilo, does she recognize what that is? He sure doesn't. Though he can definitely tell it's important and powerful.

The kiss made her heart flutter and oh he had to see the delight spread from the slight blush on cheeks and all over neck to breasts. Her grin stuttering a moment later and for a moment she gazes at Pudge and the thing in his mouth.


See she knew what it was alright.


David wore on always around his neck. Only that was a hand crafted wooden replica of many that had been carved over many many many generations of many Polynesian cultures across the ocean. Of varying sizes and materials the oldest of whale bones and tusks of walrus...


" Maui..." it's gasped out...


Pudge was no fish at all....


The fish swam back and Leo would hear his excited. " Honu, Honu! watch this!" powering his tail and like a shark or dolphin launching himself and his mouth full of giant carved fish hook into the air there is sparkle of glow sort of resembling Leo's chi, a popping and he reappears landing on that tiny rockery of island, as...


A human that could never be, eight or so feet, built like the islanders maybe large and muscular throughout his body, wearing a tradition pa'u of banana leaves. And nothing else aside his hook MiniMaui on his left pec pointing excitedly at Leo. " I can see him, I know right, figures Moanas many many many times great grand daughter would bring a Honu back here... Leonardo, Lilo - I am -"


"Maui.... Demi god... That's his fish hook Manaiakalani" Lilo is so stunned shhhhhe is forgetting to swim.

Leo's not entirely sure what to make of the expression on Lilo's face. He's going to have to brush up on his Hawaiian religion and legends...

He does recognize that Lilo clearly considers this hook thing important though, and regards Pudge-not-Pudge with respect, and the soft words are far under his breath. It's unlikely that either Lilo or this... Maui(?) heard them.

"Like the island...?" Pretty sure that's what he just heard her say.

But PudgeMaui is yelling for his attention, and Leo does turn to him to watch whatever this apparently Mikey-Like display was about to be.

Maui does not disappoint. Leo didn't know what he had been expecting, but he's pretty sure that wasn't it. He grins at the display, and claps a couple times in appreciation. There is a soft 'wow...' as Maui leaps from the water and transforms! He's huge!

"Impressive."

Though he's sure he's only understood half of what has been said by either Maui or Lilo! Demigod?! And he doesn't know who Moana is either. Yup, definitely looking up more about the local culture. There's another barely muttered under his breath word, this time repeating the name of the hook to help commit it to memory.

He's quick though as Lilo seems to forget to swim, and he pulls her back to him and keeps her above the water!

"Whoop." And swims her over to the small bit of rock, guiding her to get out of the water. At least enough so she's sitting and not drowning! Gently making sure she's okay! Then looking back up to Maui!

He's not as overcome as Lilo is, but he's definitely impressed! He will absolutely greet Maui formally, but only once sure Lilo is okay!

"it's the hair..." mischievous Demi god flicks said massive curly mop not quite as black as Lilos buuuut as long. And totally Annnd totally flirting with Leo a bit, in a playful way.


The MinuMaui adds a grin and shows off his muscles - Maui nodding. [color:1c71=cc9966]" the bod?"


Lilo doesn't let Leo go, unless he pulls away. Whispering a thanks against his shoulder and relaxing. Safe. Sure she never feared water but the momentary loss of the ability to swim...


And a muffled giggle at Maui. To Leo she adds in a stronger voice for his questions. " mmm sweet Leo yes like the Island... Or the island is named after him... My fish friend is... Maui." surrrre she kneeeew her fish was special buuuut a demi god?!


Maui plops down near them grinning fish hook across his thighs. " I stayed a fish for the sandwiches." he admits, watching them. " I want to officiate whenever you two make things tight." he kicks his feet in a light way. " you have power young Honu."

Wow, this guy is... Well, it was definitely a Mikey-like display!

"We're staring at a demigod...?" Is muttered very softly to Lilo, but he wouldn't be surprised if a being like Maui could hear it anyway. But he says more loudly "It's definitely a vibe." It's a similarly playful tone.

He's not flirting, exactly, but welcoming and enjoying the play.

Even if he's shocked! He does manage it well and keeps that part close to the plastron. Yup, he definitely needs more of the local stories and legends!

And he's still amused when Lilo informs him that this is who the island is named after!

"You attract some crazy friends for a human." Himself very much included, and the tone is absolutely fond, maybe even bordering on awed. But this is Leo. It's hard to tell that sort of thing with him.

He can't help but chuckle at the comment that Maui had remained a fish so long for the sandwiches!

"Must be some sandwich." Though he has no doubt that Lilo would have done the absolute best she could for her fishy friend! "Can you really control the weather?" He did have to ask! That's a pretty cool power, and it does sort of feel like this guy probably could. At least to some extent.

And though he's sort of staring at Maui wanting to officiate their wedding, Leo can't much see them denying a demigod that. Certainly not one that had also been Lilo's fish friend who controls the weather!

He doesn't really have a chance to recover before Maui hits him with the comment that Leo has power.

"My brothers and I are ninja. We have some spiritual training." Probably understated, but it's honestly what he thinks that's what it was. Though even the Ninja Tribunal had admitted that Leo and his brothers were particularly special. Leo doesn't know why they had said that though. Their battle and training had come to an end without a real answer to what they meant by that.

Leo had a feeling that it was one of those things that they would only find out when the time was right.

Maui grin as Lilo nods, ooooh he heard and was all the more showing off his muscles all the more. " Whole Vibe right?" moving closer to the pair and grinning all the more. " her many mothers mother was the same, was even best friends with me. And would cross oceans for her people. Becoming their greatest Chieftess, with my help of course. Annnnd to an extent yes I can harness the wid and sea but each has their own mind from then..." he explains watching them both with eyes that were brown but had a glittering, shimmering swirl to the color that was definitely inhuman.


Some might have gotten angry at that, but Lilo didn't hold a grudge for the loss of her parents in a stormy night. She never had, just went out of her way to befriend what she thought was a weather controlling fish to prevent such a loss for any on her island ever again. Well as much as she could. Sooo there is both a sort of proud if bashful grin at Leo. [color=#F08080" The best and most awesome friends and more."[/color] drawing him in close and smiling at Maui but there is a stern play to her tone. " yooooou will share that spotlight with Leo's father, and probably my sister." because yeah they were the most important people in hers and Leo's lives she knew and it would go or them both. Probably David and Stitch as well as Leo's brothers and her sisters in all but blood. And yeah she is absolutely saying if Leo ever asks she will yes - or if he hints he is ready ask him!


Hmmmm he grins. " Yep just like your ancestor not shy to tell a Demigod off or set rules... Fine I shall share the duties whenever that comes around - and the best sandwich." nooot always the truth, and Leo probably read the subtext that Maui had stayed around to watch over his long gone best friends family. He wouldn't interfere on everything but over the years helped steer them on good paths as a variety of pets, or sea creatures they come to the waters to see. Like Lilo and Pudge, Lilo missing that bit of the subtext smiling proudly when Leo answers about the power thing.


" fascinating - liiiike some time back I felt a evil power in the world... Then it was gone... That was why you'd trained?" curious, yeah he felt it and had he been asked he would have gone to help.


Because he was a trickster and mischief... But he lived humans... Or more of wanted them... And people's like Leo here to worship and love him. But still he did go out to help! But the issue went away.

"Whole vibe." Leo agreed. This Maui guy definitely had a whole vibe going on. Quite the boisterous character.

Leo is sort of amused by this description of Lilo's ancestor.

"Or destroy half the lower east side of New York searching for her friends? I can see the family resemblance." As for the wind and sea having a mind of their own, well... he's heard that before, but somehow it hits different when Maui says it. He sort of wonders what the guy means by that.

There's actually quite a bit in the look on Leo's face when Lilo informs Maui that he will be sharing the spotlight! He's a little bit smirky. Oh, he would love to marry her! Maybe not rush into it juuuuust yet as there is already a lot going on, but absolutely would be interested when the time is right! There is also a bit of amusement and awe for her setting boundaries and confronting Maui like that! He likes that! While still a little shocked that a demigod is that interested in their lives.

And it clicks.

"You... have been keeping an eye on your friend's family." He's certain. This is a demigod. If it doesn't live forever, it will at least live for an exceptionally long time. especially by human standards.

That had to be lonely.

Leo really shouldn't be as surprised as he is by how many of these beings he's met lately actually knew something about the time that the ancient Shredder demon had been released... He and his brothers had kinda, sorta had a hand in its release. It really only did seem fair that they clean up their own mess.

"That was the most intense, training, yes, but my father started teaching us when we were really young.

Sheeeeepish but proud grin, " Aside from the dumplings that's why you love me right?" that she and her loyal little alien would go to all the lengths for their loved ones.


Of course she knew it was more than that but a playing tease, all grins and perhaps when time is right they will be playfully scrambling to ask each other first!


And ooooohing when it clicks for Leo as Maui oh Yeahs about being the whole vibe and leaning in to hear them, nawwwing at her and nodding at Leo's words. [col!or=#999933]" a lot of beings like I would have felt the shift in the balance of things and the energies. I honour and thank you and your mob for dealing with it."[/color]
Sad that they had to, but very thankful.

" I have be- he went to say that yes indeed he had been watching over his friends family for many generations - but Lilo splashed him!


" that's soooo lonely though! No more, you hang out with us for real!" in her most bossy tone! Pointing to her home a aways away tucked into its bit of hillside. " as part of our O'Hana."


Maui iiiiis amused! And glances at Leo, " should I do as told?" stage whisper MinuMaui on his chest belly laughing and nodding very exaggeratedly.

And it was Leo's turn to be maybe a tiiiiiny bit sheepish. Yeah, he had gone a little bit crazy over those dumplings! But her statement certainly has enough truth to it. And he will join the play.

"Oh, absolutely. Though the dumplings might have sealed the deal."

The last is probably not true. The dumplings were a nice (dangerous?) perk. Because it is definitely her views of family and the lengths she will go for them that draws him to her. That is definitely the quality that he loves most about her. Her definition and views of family and the lengths she will go for them are incredible. Her sort of "just do it" attitude and the tenacity with which she goes about things are adorable and completely endearing!

"I'm just glad we were able to take care of it in time." Leo knows that he and his family are not to blame for the Shredder's brief release upon the world, but he does feel like they did sort of have a hand in the whole thing. He occasionally needs to remind himself that Bishop released the elements. And he probably would have gotten the amulet eventually one way or another.

Still, Leo is glad they were able to take care of the mess without involving too many others.

And Leo grins as Lilo realizes what Maui had been doing and demands he come join her family properly! And he's amused by Maui's glance toward him, though the guy also seems to be talking to the mini-him tattoo! Leo does respond to the question though.

"I don't think she'll take 'no' for an answer."

Lilo grins and lightly playfully pinches Leo's cheek. " I think dumplings will have to be our cake for the special day when it happens." soooome what serious about that.


Because she would soooo make them all herself


Just for Leo.


And that hand drops onto his shoulder. Reflecting she understood his feelings. One driving factor behind her finding six hundred and twenty five aliens homes was it was partly hers and Stitches fault in the first place that the pods had been released all over Kauai and that aliens would pop up all over the place because of that, wrecking her island and peoples lives and she even as a child knew she had to clean up her mess, that they were not all bad just needed to someone to see it too.


So yeah maybe not on the scale of evil unleashed and she does understand even if she and Stitch's interference had not unleashed the experiemnets it might have been someone else ... still she felt the responsibility of that action.


And she giggles at Maui and Leo, " Don't make me take you by the ear and drag you up there mister! David is home now with my Uncles Pleakley and Jumba - just go and announce Lilo sent the you." with all the sterness she could.


Maui had nodded at Leo, and there is a respectful bow, ~I... would like to take you and your brothers to be rewarded for that - if you'd let me one day - to TeFiti.~ No elaborating on the name just yet. And said privately to Leo as he mock a scared ooooh no - with mini me going from giving Leo a thumbs up and exaggerated nods to fake hiding behind art work on the pec. " Yeaaaaah definitely Moana's blood line - she too grabbed my ear to drag me around... she would not take nooo for an answer." in stage whisper to Leo ducking the kick splash from Lilo. " but I will... thanks... I... still want sandwichs though."


Lilo laughs. " Goooo see Rubuen in town he makes the best - and I am glad, cause I'd hate to think of you remaining a lonely fish, and Leo and I do have to get back to New York." regretful this wonderous meeting, and time with Leo alone here on the beuatiful island was for the moment coming to a close.

"That sounds like a wonderful idea and a terrible idea at the same time." Because he'll be expected to do things other than be a blob after cake! So there is amusement in his tone.

He's not really surprised by the hand on his shoulder, but maybe a little at how reassuring the touch was. Maybe the scope wasn't quite the same, but it was nice to know that she understood.

"A reward is really not necessary. Knowing the demon is secure again is reward enough." There's a brief moment to read the room. "But we would be honored to meet Te Fiti." Because well, Leo's typically not one to want to disappoint a demi-god. Or a member of Lilo's family!

There is clear amusement as Maui goes one about Lilo and her similarities to Moana. He doesn't recognize the name, or Te Fitis, but he's going to have to do some homework on it sooner or later! And he's willing to bet Lilo knows and will share plenty! Leo will be eager to learn. He enjoys this sort of knowledge.

Leo is also aware that they're going to have to be getting home to New York soon as well, and as much as he does want another few moments with Lilo alone, he does sort of catch her shoulder as she starts to send Maui off.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait. You're seriously telling me that you're going to send Maui up to the house by himself to your uncles and sort of father figure David who wears a charm of that hook on his neck and not be there to see the looks on their faces?"

Even Maui laughed at that one and winked, " Sweeeeet cakes have that effect on everyone." He laughs - and even more as Lilo is all pulled in many directions -


But in an adorable sort of way.


She gasped at the mention of Tefiti and all but grabs Leo's hand on her shoulder mid undecisive squeaky sounds.


She wants to do exactly as Leo says and drag him up to watch the past of her family meet the present - and revel in the faces! Oh leo was so right and knew her so well! and yet she soooo wants to snog his pretty snout!


A lot!


But also is excited. " TeFiti!? the mother island? the goddess?! she... she would reward - of course, I would!" She tries a sentence or two - stops, and hahs a proud smooch on Leo's lips.


Because yep she soooo would!


Maui laughs his MiniMaui makes happy faces watching the excitement and smoochies. " well thooooooose kissies are probably quiet cool but yes the Mother Island... he grins and with a shout of..." waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahooooooo lets go to the home!" a swing of his fish hook and he turns into a giant eagle - yep giant -


Lilo is still excited, grinning at Leo. " That will be sooooo coool meeting the mother island! -" and then eeeeeking in surprise when Maui changes shape though she should have known he is able to and probably would at some point. And nope still hasn't moved away or let go of Leo!

Maui squats as best a bird can offering them to climb on and lets go!

Leo chuckled as Maui's assessment of the sweet cake situation.

"To some extent, I suppose so." At least he's not alone in that, still he hadn't been prepared for being THAT enthralled by the treats!

Based on Lilo's reaction, this Tefiti is definitely important, and it certainly wouldn't do to refuse a meeting with someone that important to Lilo! Even if Leo doesn't know who she is.

He did note that Lilo did not use the word 'demi' when referring to Tefiti as a goddess. Definitely will take the meeting, though still not looking for a reward.

Leo is a bit surprised that Maui can also turn into a giant bird! Though the guy had been a fish when they met him, so Leo isn't shocked by this either. And for the most part it is concealed. And Leo is definitely not passing up the chance to ride on the back of a giant Eagle! He helps Lilo up in front, then climbs on himself.

Lilo laughs and waggles her brows at Leo - the naughty sort of grin on her face definitely hunting she would adore the opportunity to spend nuptial night happily scratching a tight tummies Leo into the weeee hours!


And she is more than fearlessly eager to climb up with Leo's help!


Maui twists head around to look at them, make sure their secure and winking at Leo, " once around the island and to the front door...!"


Lilo grins once Leo is on she will shuffle back to be pressed against him, back to his plastrons and in the secure was of very strong arms! And just cause it felt amazing! He would feel her tremble in a mix of some fear but mostly excitement and well he told her his fear was heights, so if he needs to bury his face against her she is right there!


And Maui will lift off, not too high or fast let them get used to the feel, and oooh he hadn't done this for a monkeys age! It felt soooo goooood!


" wahoooooooo!!" yep her fear was gone! Now she was enjoying this!!

Leo isn't sure if he's amused or concerned by that look from Lilo! Pretty sure there's a little of both there! Though maybe they could have a less enticing cake at the reception, and save the dumplings for later when they're alone.

There's a soft, excited (or possibly slightly anxious) laugh as Maui offers a ride around the island first! Lilo can probably feel the tension in his arms with a similar sort of feeling as she has. This is Leo though, so it is subtle and brief.

Leo has long since come to terms with his fear of heights. He did jump from the plane with one of those boards the Purple Dragons had. Though perhaps that particular time in his life is not an excellent point of comparison. Leo usually has a little more sense than that. It hadn't been overcoming his fear so much as a little bit of a death wish.

At no point does Leo actually bury his face against Lilo, but she will feel another tense moment after they take off and again as Maui really starts moving! The ride is phenomenal! Even though he is aware of the tickle of an old fear in the back of his mind, he faces it head on and cheers along with her as they circle the island!

If she chooses a quiet moment later when it is just the two of them to ask if he had been scared, Leo will admit that yes, he had been, but he was also glad that he went and got to experience that little trip on Maui's back.

Maui will gilde and swoop and spin only once! Thrilling his passengers and at the end when he swoops for the houses front porch he tosses them both up a little - just enough to flip under them and catch them in his talons and as he comes in for a landing carefully placing them in the wooden slates. He landing with a thud and shrinking to his 'human' self with a thud!


Lilo whenever she felt Leo tense would respond by melting against his solid frame and taking those big hands not even holding on herself no fear Leo or Maui would let her fall off!


And once on the ground she flops over laughing making a dust angel. " that was awesome, Leo is awesome, you are awesome!" she laughs.


Maui raises an eyebrow.

What a ride!

"That was incredible!" Even during those tense moments, Leo had enjoyed the adventure! And having Lilo there with him for that flight made it even better. He laughed as they were deposited back on the ground and Lilo dropped to the ground.

David had heard Lilo's exclamation, or at least heard her voice, and came out to see what was going on and...

froze...

Unable to believe what he was pretty sure he was seeing. Naaah. No way. Right? The hook had to be an incredibly detailed and expensive replica.

Maui chuckles and bows and seeing the man at the door looking oooh so very shocked he grins at him and turns the hook to show off the faint remainder of the crack it got in battling Teka.


Lilo grins up at Leo from the dirt where she was, " one of my favourite rides." the other being Leo himself, so the tease maybe slightly flirty and she does brush her toes up his shin, rolling to get to her feet and brush off the dust... Leaves in her long dark hair still when she spies David. "David! You will never guess who Pudge turned out to be! oh so very proud and pleased and a hand waving at the Demi god standing on their porche being and showing off those massive pecs whilst MiniMaui poses proudly with his fish hook, the other hand reaches for Leo.


She will ask him when their alone, but mostly to make sure even tense at imes he had thoroughly enjoyed the ride, her other hand reaching for his, and will definitely be a good girl ... Mostly with the flirting whilst David and she can hear Jumba coming and probably a Pleakley too!


Hehehe oh Leo was so right and he would get Smoochies for it later! she didn't and shouldn't and wasn't gonna miss this, David's face! Hehehehe!


Ever endearingly patient and sweet David looked stunned!


She has her phone out on camera mode!

David is still staring as Lilo flops down and makes a dust angel. Leo is more careful about his dismount. Actually, David isn't sure if his dismount was incredibly graceful or if he just somehow appeared down on the ground next to Lilo to take her offered hand.

Though David is definitely distracted!

"That's Pudge?!" David somehow managed to squeak out. He is absolutely stunned! He absolutely does recognize the fish hook though! Even with all the aliens, and now a Honu that Lilo has brought home, David never imagined that she might actually bring home a demi god! Surely that isn't what really happened here!

Finally Leo takes pity on the poor, shocked man.

"Maui, David. David, Maui."

"Maui..."

David gasps and kneels down, bowing low. Every so often, glancing up at the spectacular specimen that Maui is!

And Pleakley is absolutely right behind Jumba! And somewhat surprised to see David acting like this. Usually he's so relaxed! Though Pleakley doesn't recognize Maui quite as readily as David does! And he came in barely too late for Leo's introduction.

Maui grins. "Noooow this is a proper greeting, hello human David! I am, uh sometimes Pudge! Now Maui!" posing and soaking up the admiration for a moment but also reaching down to carefully pluck the human up and put him on his feet. " and that is the best hook like mine I ever saw! Lilo says I should come here and be properly introduced and inducted into the family."


Lilo chuckles and smooches Leo's cheek in the brief moments as Maui shows off and at least a Jumba she saw was beginning to understand. " You were right couldn't have missed this... Except for Leo Smoochies." she whispers indicating her phone now with some awesome pictures!


Stitch, looking a little wobbly on his feet and an amused Angel reappeared watching, Stitch gasping but not sure what for.


Jumba had not been sure what it all was about but the hooks and big guy and... He gaps and pokes Pleakleys barely missing his eyeball and thankfully getting his snout. [color=#7B68EE]" remember fruit and vege old ladies story about the mother island and Maui?..."[\color]

David hangs like a properly plucked up rag doll when Maui lifts him to his feet. Somehow he does manage to stand as he's put down. And he touches his necklace at the compliment.

"Thank you..."

He means it, but is still shocked. By now, Pleakley has managed to grasp what is going on, and he gaaaaaaaasps! Then bows just as David had! Giving due respect to this Earth Demigod!

It takes just another moment for David to realize what Maui just said and get his bearings!

"Lilo, how did--"

He realizes perhaps a little belatedly that this was a ridiculous question to ask the young woman who brought home an alien (then MANY) as a child, then managed to bring home an actual Honu! Of course she would find Maui and bring him home too. 

"I'm pretty sure we'll need Nani for that..."

David gets out his phone and types out a quick message. 

•You will never believe what Lilo brought home this time.•

Leo is definitely amused by this whole scene, and he returns the smooch from Lilo. It's warm, and loving, and he has no regrets about any alone time with Lilo that is being put off for later by this moment! 

"Yes, but this is a once in a lifetime chance."

David put the phone down. 

"It will take her just a bit. Um... anyone want coffee? ...or tea ...or?"


What do you offer a demigod who turns up in your living room?

Lilo grins at Leo - if anything this just made him all the more lovable to her, the insistence to be humble even though he had tamed her excitable ready and raring for more adventure... with him... self and made sure she got these memories - hah! it would be a photo album all on its own!


She grins at the returned kiss and tilts her phone so Leo could quickly see the collection of photos she got of the moment, she and Leo accidentally self the last of a small collection of Maui standing proudly at the door, the prostrating David, the way he was held up and placed down the echoing worship of Jumba and Pleakley - hahaha and then the selfie and hah!


" This calls for coconut, pretend rum and blue curacao lemon deliciousness." she laughs and squeeze to Leo - and a gentle push to Maui who was picking up Pleakley and Jumba effortless and gazes at them both - as amazed as David, Pleakley and Jumba had been -


She began to shuffle everyone back into their chairs and knows, just knows without reading it Nani had sent back a variation of OOh NO! and a picture or emoji signaling she was zooming home!


And she would be right, on Davids phone was two emojis, a face palming dark little person and a fast moving car.


" Sit sit... we'll explain when Nani gets here..." meaning Leo too, they might be a tad longer than originally planned but a few moments getting Maui settled and her family adjusted... yep. " And what they are too." she adds to Maui's look as he plunks Jumba and Pleakley down too and tries to negociate a chair... but is too big so sits on the floor cross legged. Well Gantu has had to do that from time to time. Ah and there was the sound of Nani's car and the thud of her door and race of her feet -


" Lilo what did - uh... ah... what... oh - mmmmy.. g g..." A slightly alarmed and flustered nani came in tone mostly wary not angry or frustrated or scared... just this was a common occurence with Lilo. but...

she oh deared and dropped her keys and bag and reached for David - pointing. " I have lost my mind right?" as Maui and Mini Maui both finger waved at her.

Oh yeah, those photos are going to be some amazing memories! HA! Though he does sort of get the level of shock. Even if he doesn't really know the details about Maui, he knows what a demigod is.

There is more amusement as Lilo comes up with another drink. Even if Leo doesn't actually know what blue curacao is, well... he's pretty sure he'll find out soon enough.

"Gonna need the real deal in this one." David mutters quietly. He's still somewhat overwhelmed! And he's certain that Nani will be even more so! Actually, Lilo's probably right. Best to stick with the fake stuff.

It is David's turn to be amused when Nani responds to his text. He's actually getting sort of excited to share this with her now that the initial shock is starting to wear off!

Leo did note that Maui seemed to have a problem finding a place to sit, and he eventually seats himself on the floor as well. Not because he can't use one of the chairs, but Leo is just as comfortable on the floor, and he doesn't like sitting over people like that.

Even if Maui is actually big enough that the rest of them in chairs is pretty close to his head level...

When Nani arrives, David jumps up and rushes to meet her at the door. There's an excitement, and maybe a touch of amusement in his eyes now. Especially as he gets to take a turn introducing their new... inductee to use Maui's word for it.

"Nope, You're not losing anything. Nani, Maui. Yes, that Maui. Maui, Nani. She's our family matriarch."

Lilo uses the excuse and giggling at the way Maui glowed, tugging Leo closer to him with his hook and the amusement of the Nani and David to hide her pausing the drink mixing in actual coconut, fat round and green and fresh full with creamy milk she adds the alternatives to the blue rum, a polka pink and a blue monin blue syrup in place of the alcoholics and the lemon - pausing to get pictures and giggling, oh what she would have missed and is wasnt and Leo was in for smoothies later that might leave them both breathless!


She brings drinks around in order -


The first two to David and Nani once her phone is away. Nani first then David. Nodding, " that Maui... Beautiful no?"


Nani could only giggle - and that was probably going to be her face for some time ... Hehehe so Lilo delivered drinks to her sweet astonished Uncles and then Leo, whispering to him and disguising it in a kiss. " you are more beautiful." showing him one hand at a time how to hold his coconut at the best angle to get the sweet fruit cool drunk in all its glory and oh she loved him.


Going back to the bench for her drink as a still stunned Jumba stumbles a bit, " I... we know of some gods or chaos beings that can access energies that we can't and live longer... Some trapped in fifth dimensional prisons. Been aware a few might still be alive on Earth most planets have beings... just wow..."


This all puzzled Maui, Demi god or not he was like Jumba said one of Earth and sure his people, Lilos ancestors navigated by the stars and moons and he doesn't know those Plantes they could see in the sky. But he was still puzzled and intrigued. " Just don't try to get cozy with Pele...." he teases making pecs bounce and mini Maui bounce a bit and glare up at him when introduced to Nani. [color#cc9933]" well met Matriarch Nani, thanks David... this is a beautiful home."[/color] what he could see of it! A sip of the drink that came his way and delight moan, ooooh humans took taste to extraordinary levels!

Leo is fully unaware of Lilo's silent promises of many smoochies later that he will very much enjoy. At the moment, he is definitely distracted by being yanked closer by Maui! He makes a quiet "Erk?!" noise as he's pulled, then chuckles once settled in his new position. Here is as good as anywhere else, especially since Lilo has gone to get the drinks.

There is still a little bit of that awed shock in David's nod at Lilo's comment about Maui! Though the way he sort of scooted slightly closer against Nani on the couch probably gave the same message to her that Lilo's kiss to Leo had carried. Though not quite as overtly at the moment.

Leo happily returned that kiss from Lilo, and sidles slightly to offer him a spot on his other side. He accepts the drink then watches the others for a moment, and pays attention to Lilo's lesson before attempting a sip! He does spill just a little, but figures it out after that.

It's not those dumplings that Lilo made the other day, but wow!

Leo listens as Jumba goes through his explanation.

"Don would be fascinated by... whatever you just said."

"Ooooohhhhhh! Yeahhhh! They probably IS a chaos being!" Maui is known as a trickster. "He doesn't seem evil though. Just playful. You're not evil are you? OW!"

David had stepped on one of Pleakley's toes to stop him, but was a bit too late to prevent the question entirely.

There is general chuckling at Maui's comment about Pele! Even Leo at least knew that Pele is the goddess of volcanos and fire! He might not know details, but he's heard of Pele.

David is almost giddy when Maui thanked him!

"You're welcome." He just got thanked by a demigod! And not just ANY demigod! By Maui! WOW! "We like it." He replied of their home."When it's in one piece." He hadn't entirely meant to say the last part, but they had had several repairs made over the years, and it just slipped out.

Maui hummmmed he is sucking down his coconutty drink happily, amazed really! the flavors humans have achieved over the years! He grins at Pleakley, " Have I done evil things? yes... if not my original intention in doing so... but on the whole what I crave is human... love..." And it really strikes him now in this family sitting around the table, maybe he has found a sort that wasn't the yelling crowds of worshippers but something as special.


Nani has sort of stiffened beside David at Pleakleys question, smothered half a snigger at her hubby's retaliation, and pleased by the compliment to their home, and amused, grinning when Maui raised an eyebrow - where had she seen that expression before?! - " I take it the family trait of destruction has been passed down...?" he guesses and smiles at David and Nai, maybe with a laugh at Nani's huffed 'got that right


But a wave of his big hand not holding his drink, around at the clean spacious space around them. " But also recovery and hard work - it shows. And each time stronger." And an added point to the Jumba and Pleakley, "Noooot sure what you two mean by chaos beings -"


Nani sort of cringes a little against David, but it also comes with a chuckle - Pleakley and Jumba were probably going to talk over each other eagerly to explain that one! So it's a cringe in regards to the would-be eager yammerings as Jumba's eyes light up and similarly, she expects Pleakleys will too! and a chuckle causes her alien 'brothers' to be an adorable couple when they did it and it was endearing to watch too. Just like her hub's giddy, that got him an arm slipped about him and squeeze against her lightly.


Lilo is half proud of carrying on that family trait, and half sheepish, plopping down beside Leo - after giggling at his nose when he is literally hooked and dragged in close by Maui. And also a touch of pride - one she definitely credits to Nani and David, " Stronger and prettier." oh absolutely, David's idea was to put hers and Stitch's room higher so Pleakley and Jumba had her old room. And Nani's idea was to extend the carport after the last time for all the vehicles, including spots to hang to smaller red and yellow cars. And making the veggie patch. the family home still had the inner structures of the old hut it once had been but definitely bigger! And she is very amused Maui is about to get a crash course in aliens! also with the adorableness of Leo getting the hang of his coconut!

"AWWWW! That's sort of the opposite of Jumba! He definitely meant to do evil things, until he discovered being good is better." All grins! "As long as you don't mean to be evil now! Because if you dooo, we will have to stop you, Mister!"

David smashed Pleakley's toes again, eliciting another squawk.

Even Leo is nodding that the family trait of destruction has definitely been passed down. He found Lilo the first time because she and Stitch were tearing apart New York looking for their friends.

"Though their intentions seem good. ...usually." The last is playful, clearly a joke.

David tried to stop Pleakley from moving, but the noodle slithered out of where he could reach and moves to start inspecting Maui more closely. He pulled a measuring tape out of somewhere, though Lilo and Nani would know for certain that there were no pockets in that dress he's wearing.

"Pretty sure you are one. Usually immortal, or at least so long lived that they might as well be to everyone else. They can do stuff most other beings can't. Lots are evil. Those are the ones they lock up. You know what? I think green is your color." And Pleakley is definitely measuring for clothes now.

Leo is sort of occasionally in the way, and depending on how Maui responds, will manage to distract Pleakley if it's needed.

This really really puzzled Maui, well sort of, he is wowing a little himself and chucking Jumba gently on the shoulder but sort of making the big guy have to grip his chair as Pleakley excitedly explains and Jumba complains his career as a evil genius had definitely taken a turn just like his so called evil alien experiments did...

Making Lilo giggle and grin at Leo, reminded heat she and Stitch had been about to do to find their missing OHana, has a bit of pride as in she would do it again, for all her O'Hana - with Stitch right beside her or leading the way being the fireproof one.

Nani is very amused and chuckles at Pleakleys Yelp, and it doesn't help that that does not stop him! She sees Maui's look and adds hopefully helpfully. " Before cloths Pleakley maybe you and Jumba should go get the alien computer and bring a Demi god who has been living as a fish up to speed with a crash course in Aliens and how O'Hana came together?" that will spare David having to squish toes but also from a fashion show just yet and she types a message to David she is staying home for this! Oh hell yeah! But a glance at Lilo and Leo, that will be a way for them to finish drinks and politely say they don't have time to stay for the show but can catch it next time if they needed to dip out. More a glance at Leo cause she is sure Lilo missed it whilst giggling again at eager Jumba flumping off his chair entirely and hurrying away! And probably a noodle chasing him!



Maui nods he is not aware Nani was trying to help David and Leo wrangle the eager slippery as an eel Pleakley, for a time anyways or give the teens a out if they needed it. But also himself a moment to catch up to this century! "I'd like to learn, thank you... And thanks I look fabulous is green... thanks Leo nod, and a thanks sure he is up for being dressed! ... Can't be that bad surely? - and a whisper to Leo and David. Sensing there had been some attempts at interference.

Pleakley is absolutely talking right over Jumba's complaining about his evil genius career.

David is relaxed and sort of leaning back with Nani by now. Unless he's trying to stop Pleakley from being entirely too obnoxious. This is an endeavor only best met with qualified success. So for the moment, he's mostly content to be amused.

Leo kissed that little grin of Lilo's and turned his attention back to the entertainment, and the drink he had been offered. For the most part, he had pretty well figured out how to drink it out of the strangely shaped coconut!

When Nani had suggested putting off the fashion show for now, Pleakley had very nearly been about to object! Surely Maui could do BOTH! He could be dressed while they talked!

"There's time, Pleakley. Let him breathe"

But David didn't really need to finish the statement, because when Jumba flumped off, Pleakley absolutely flounced off after him!

"Kids." He couldn't help it. Even if he knows darned well that both Pleakley and Jumba are definitely older than he is.

Maui's aside whisper is to two guys who definitely prefer less clothing to more. Though David wears shorts as a matter of decency he would probably be completely willing to simply run bare if it were even remotely socially acceptable for him to do so. Both sort of glance at each other in the half/slightly clad states before both almost too quickly insisting that nope, clothes aren't that bad.

"No, not bad." "Not that bad." "Not bad at all." "They're fine."

Nani and Lilo show they are definitely sisters at this time, giggling behind their own coconuts at their lovers' responses. And well they both sort of guessed being gals that where happy to get around in mumus or swim wear that there was a whole lot of agreement. Nani only dressed up for David on date night and was usually presentable only for work. Rest of the time definitely boho beach casual.


Lilo bumped lightly against Leo and winked at him, her drink done she offers the empty 'cup' to Belle to munch on, the little usually fairly quiet and happy to lay mostly near or on Nani like a cat alien was happy to chew and watch Jumba and Pleakley rush away.


Nani shifted a little a bit closer to David, resting a hand on his knee. It's a little gesture way of sharing she appreciated her hubby's usually a fairly successful way of either redirecting or distracting the rambunctious ya face overly friendly and eager to be in all that human fashion stuff Pleakley was all about and the constant 'what can I make of dis?!' approach Jumba took to everything! A little easier with Lilo mostly off at school and not adding to the general crazy with a Stitch helping claw -


So yes she loves these moments, and just getting to express in small ways that David was just the coolest guy -


And looking across she can see the same in Leo, as well as some of her own drive, mother-henning self too. " For both their alien species, not far off to be honest, older than us but young for their kinda. Mid twenties perhaps." she explains. And to Maui, "The stars, you and our ancestors navigated about, Jumba and Pleakley and many others here are from the stars, the guys when they return will give a more ummmm thoroughly explanation, but that's the real quick one."



And chuckling when a bemused by Leo and David Demi god mid sip of his drink blinks and shifts to lean out and look out into the hall at the racket the other two were making. " noooo waaaay. I mean... wooooow..." maybe a worried cringe at the clattering and grumping as Jumba and a... 'helpful' excited Pleakley wrangle past with the little alien experiments computer into the lounge to set up their educational display -

"not day heavy! could have sorted myself slinky - Yoooou should make popcorn." huffed and wheezed and pointed out a Jumba. Indeed the hardest thing about that had been the chase to their room, the wrestle through the door to be first, the trying to stop noodle carrying the computer and tug of waring all the way back and now setting up. He may have stepped on a cute lil green toe now and then!

Leo acknowledged the bump and wink, but he's still a little on the spot with Maui, so it's just that for now. A slight grin, he noticed and enjoyed it!

He did notice Lilo handing off her coconut 'cup' to Belle. Leo's not finished with his drink quite yet though, so it will be another moment before he has to decide what to do with the coconut. Leo scoots closer to Lilo as Nani scoots closer to David.

And when Pleakley and Jumba go tumbling out of the room, both relax a bit. It's probably more obvious in Leo. "We've met a few beings who age differently. I guess that makes sense." The ages that Nani guessed did seem to sort of match up with their behavior.

Leo is hiding a grin at Maui's awe at Jumba and Pleakley being from the stars.

Jumba's attempts to get Pleakley to stop helping are futile. At least until he stumbles upon the popcorn idea!

GAAAAAAASSSSSPPP!!!

And he's off to do just that!

Hopefully he won't burn up the microwave.

David seems quite relaxed as he encourages Nani to stay on the couch and not get up to follow Pleakley, but he's definitely paying attention to how long the microwave runs and any smells that might come from the kitchen.

At some point during the distraction of Jumba and Pleakley, Leo did take a small piece of the coconut meat from his 'cup' and eat it. He hasn't actually had fresh coconut before. Just the flavoring or flakes from a bag.

Lilo loves that grin, the small acknowledgements, and the amusement at Maui's awe.


Oh she is leaning back to get pictures of the glance around the door, the way Nani, her ever doting grown before her time but so beautifully youthful looking sister and David sat not overtly snuggled but just enough. Enough as it thoroughly enjoying each other and the comfort. Of the way sweet ever patient understanding David seemed so cool but was on watch.


Clicking a few of Pleakley and Jumbas weird sort of hallways tango with the projector and computer it was adorable, Jumba's frustration. Perhaps she knew would sound much much more authentic to anyone not used to it and Pleakley, and maybe to Leo to who had an excitable brother, Mike, and now babies that would probably have their moments too.


Pictures of Pleakley fussing and showing off the concept of the microwave to a Maui who looked like he regretted entirely the length of time he spent as a fish and not here, amazed with what humans had done!


She turns the camera on Leo after a moment to watch him try coconut meat for the first time. A giggle capturing the perfect moment the flavor would roll over him, " You still sure I taste like coconut?" just for him, oh she had photos of him there in the waters and meeting a few or her extended O'Hana looking like some Hawaiian myth come to life. All primal tropical beauty and this photo was no different.

No one minds Lilo's picture taking, and Leo is actually sort of amused with this habit of hers. She does a good job, and he's going to have to see more of her work. Maybe not this trip, because he's starting to get a little antsy to get home, though he's not entirely sure why. Outwardly, he's still relaxed, but a need to get home is just starting to niggle.

Leo does enjoy that taste of the coconut though! He will probably be caught pulling other little bits out of his 'cup.'

"Oh, absolutely." This part is very quiet, as Leo's pretty sure Nani doesn't really want to hear this sort of talk regarding the little sister she raised. So it's subtle, quiet, and only for Lilo!

He's amused by the sort of light craziness going on. It's mostly harmless at the moment. Pleakley doing his thing and Jumba finally managing to get him to go off and do something else!

David is happily comfortable, and very much enjoying the quiet moment to just sort of sit here and be close to Nani. At the moment, it's perfect.

"You put the food in this speeeecial box, then close it up. That part is important. Close it up and push this button and see the light come on? Now we wait!" Pleakley watches the microwave expectantly the entire time the popcorn is popping!

He giggles and claps a little as the popcorn actually finishes popping! And it comes out of the bag already buttered!

"Though you could add more if you like, but this kind is extra good." Or at least Pleakley thinks so!. He puts the popcorn in a bowl and hurries it back out to the main room before staying still long enough for Maui to try it!

Chuckling and waggling brows at Leo, with a full blush spreading over her cheeks Lilo is picking up on some very subtle signs perhaps it was time for the two of them to go. If someone asked she is not sure what those signs were, on the surface Leo looks amused, calm, patient, and enjoying the chance to eat the coconut which all encourages him to do - she is sure there might be a tightness to the way his shoulders are sitting.

Nope, she couldn't say consciously what it was. Amused by his answer and pleased, well she definitely wants that to be pleasant for him!


And she pats his knee. " If you ready we'll leave this mob to be thoroughly entertained by Jumba and Pleakley Alien crash course and we'll get the stuff the locals shared with you and go home?" still low and just between them watching amused as Nani leaned on David a bit more to watch closely as Maui eyed the popcorn - slooowly reaching for a popped kernal to try it -


The look on the demi gods face suggesting he was sure this wouldn't... couldn't be edible!


But then gobsmacked when it is!


Jumba yelling out he is almost done!


hahaha Lilo giggles softly tilting her phone at Leo so he can see her gathered pictures of Maui's first pop corn sequence, like the Leo's first coconut sequence - she loved them both!

Nani whispers to David, " may have to stay just to watch how this turns out this afternoon I think." chuckling, and its not like in the early days she would have to work and work and work, they were actually fairly financially comfortable. Not wealthy or heaps to spare but comfortable enough that a few less hours one afternoon wont ruin the budget. At least she doesn't have to pay off the house. Just thew cars and what is going to Lilo's schooling.

Maui's face went from skeptical to the amazement and he almost downs the entire bag - pausing half way to give it back to Pleakley sheepishly, " sorry can you show me how to do that... with the microwave... like let me try it?" usually the mischievous demi god would just go ahead but it was amazing and he wanted Pleakley to go throw the process with him!


Missing Lilo giggling at Leo's shoulder over that.

Other than those very, very subtle cues that Lilo picked up on, Leo is calm and relaxed. He does keep pulling bits of coconut out of the cup, and will finish most of it before they're quite ready to leave.

"That's probably a good idea. Raphie, Mike and Casey have probably had enough time to get into trouble by now." Possibly hitting on what might be bothering him. Raph hadn't been there yet when Leo and Lilo had left, so Leo isn't sure if he'd made it yet or not. Though another Raph would likely decrease the time required for trouble, rather than increase it.

Leo doesn't bother to hide his amusement at Maui trying popcorn for the first time. Definitely a treat!

David chuckles at Nani's decision to stay for the afternoon.

"Should be quite a show." David agreed. Though he would have to start getting ready for work in a couple hours.

Pleakley is only too happy to help Maui learn to use the microwave!

"Oh, of course! Here!" Pleakley pulls out a second bag of popcorn and hands the plastic wrapped item to Maui. Leading him through removing the wrapper, (This is important! Pleakley forgot this step once. It smelled terrible, and didn't work well at all. Almost burned down the nouse!) and getting the bag properly into the microwave, and the right settings for a perfect pop!

Leo chuckled a bit too, sort of sorry to leave what was sure to be crazy, but he did feel like he needed to get back.

"It was lovely to meet you all in person." He'll keep it relatively casual this time, so no one feels the need to get up as Lilo and Leo head back to New York.

"You too, Leo. Feel free to come by any time."

"Oh yes! Please dooo! And don't forget our pampering session tonight!" Because Pleakley wants a skin care night with friends, and is definitely looking forward to the next time Leo and Lilo are around so he can get the next episode of his own, personal soap opera!

"Wouldn't miss it." He's still amused that Raphie of all turtles somehow instigated this.

When she's ready, Leo will take Lilo's hand so they can head out together.

Nani grins at David, and clearly about to say something naughty - but well she and Leo are a bit alike in this manner she decides to keep the naughty for when there is not a house busy and full with a currently being blown away demi-god, always over eager Pleakley and fussy calling all to come see Jumba - and the two young people!

But no doubt her patient man saw the brief look, she knows he has to prepare for work and never let it be said Nani did not sometimes take all too much delight in watching him get ready to fire dance, get into his traditional costume, make sure all shiny and use a alcohol not lawn mower fuel to make the fire breath... hahaha she grins and kisses his cheek. " Will have to help you prepare for tonight when those three are into the lesson." its whispered and she is standing to quickly catch the youths in light hugs. " come back whenever yous need to okay? we really enjoyed meeting you Leo in person today and look forward to our two families meeting and merging more as time goes. And I feel the same way about her sometimes." yeah they had yet to meet all his family but she pretty much assumed and was eager for more to be added to their ranks. Nodding at Lilo when she lets go of her sister to hug Leo, amused cause yes about this long it takes for her sister to find trouble.

Lilo hugged tightly, " I think that is inevitable with the pampering - that is happening tonight Pleakley, um well very late for these guys and late for yous." She is playful but also a warning just to let them know roughly what time.

And as Nani lets go to hug Leo Lilo will accept his coconut bowl if finished to give to happy Belle finishing off Lilo's bowl will be all but over th emoon to start on Leo's. Heying at Nani's words.

Nani might not have said whatever came into her mind, but David definitely saw the comment cross her eyes! He gives her a wink when he thinks the others aren't looking.

He's pretty sure Leo noticed it, but the Honu didn't bring any sort of attention to the gesture.

David pulled Nani a bit closer, just shifting to be a little closer and more comfortable while they watched this chaos that was enfolding. And YES! The nights when Nani can help him get ready for work are the best! He is a little more slap dash about what he needs to do that she is.

Nani is nothing if not through, and David enjoys every moment of her 'help'!

When Nani stood to bid Lilo and Leo farewell, David also got up. Leo responded to Nani's hug, returning it with matching light, friendly energy.

"As do I." Leo commented. He does look forward to their families getting to know each other more! Lilo's family is wonderful! And he has a feeling that there's a similar sort of crazy that will help the two blend nicely.

"You're welcome any time." David added, just making sure that it came from both of them.

"And we'll have to get you out to New York sometime." Or maybe the farm house, he'll have to think on that one a little.

Leo does relinquish the coconut cup to Lilo to give to Belle. He is finished with as much of it as he's going to eat, and the cute, little alien is definitely welcome to the rest.

After Nani's hug, David moved into hug Lilo and Lilo.

Pleakley is almost ripping them out of David's hug to catch BOTH Lilo and Leo in the same hug! He's practically vibrating with excitement for tonights pampering session!

"Don't forget the tea cakes!"

Jumba huffs and rushes over to join the hug, squeezing Pleakley into them! Ack! so sort of muffling her " There will be tea cakes!" in a gasp of escaping air!

Hahahaha Lilo had been giggling at the hugging from David and Nani. Oh, she loved them both and does know absolutely that their families will blend and mess quite well. and She definitely is encouraging Donnie to visit next on his own to have more geek time with the alien crazies currently hugging them!

And she is loving it!

" Oh for sure - I cannot wait to see the farmhouse, and New York is a sight to see too!" sure so far all she has seen of the city was uni, some touristy spots, and a bit of the underground now - still she was looking forward to some proper exploration and has no doubt when this mess with the kraang was over with, a lot of family get-togethers will be in the works.

Nani fought laughter at David's eagerness for get ready for work is usually fun for them both! And also the eagerness of the Jumba and Pleakley - amused even more than a Maui sidled out of the room to come and hug the pair too!

What she doesn't see as she winks at David as they step back and she moves closer to him to put an arm around him - is Maui squishing the four in the hug.

" I would not have ever thought of coming and joining in, if not for being inspired to by meeting you today, Leo... thank you, and you lilo - you have always been a loyal frien -"

Lilo laughs and pats the very big demi god's cheek pausing his gratitude, " Family, your family." she makes sure he knows that. Always had been to her at least.

Maui grins, yep she was definitely the descendant of Moana.

Lilo is rubbing Pleakley's head, trying to encourage him off, though it's hard, and even Jumba and Maui squishing will probably have a wriggling noodle in the way! hahaha she doesn't mind. Just glad Leo was squished in beside her! " Thanks, all of you, we'll definitely be visiting and... pampering a lot." For all his crazy Pleakley usually had good outcomes so no doubt a touch of pampering and the New Yorkians will be back and forth a fair bit! She is carefully pushing them both free of the hugs -

As much as she loved it, ready with a light squeeze to Leo's hand, " Stitch and the volunteers have taken the yellow space car, so Leo and I will head back the way we came, and be very careful." she promises, after of course she and Leo had gathered the gifts from the island hahaha

Pleakley is ecstatic hearing that there will be tea cakes for all! He is so excited about tonight that he is wriggling in the hug! Even though he knows it will be awhile yet, he is still eager to start preparing!

And he'll have to find some great things for Maui to try too! Can't leave out their new family member!

David couldn't help but smile at the massive hug!

"I'm sure we'll get there sooner than later." Especially if Haley sets them up with a portal muffin or two. And even if not, there are other ways to get there.

As if Jumba needed an excuse to make another hover car or two.

Leo smiles to Maui and gives him a friendly clap on the back.

"You are more than welcome, and she won't let you forget the family bit. You're stuck with her now." It would definitely be best to take it to heart now. And his tone makes it plenty clear that being "stuck" with Lilo sounds pretty good to him!

Leo returns Lilo's hand squeeze, and follows her through gathering up items to bring back to Nee York!

And once they're off, David shoots a hopeful look to Nani! Time to get ready for work??

Which they probably have time for, as Pleakley is dragging Maui off to help him prep for pampering!

Nani watches the two go, grinning at David's words, a sideways glance as a chuckling Maui manages a very islander like salute of all four fingers to chin and outwards to him, before allowing the Jumba and Pleakley to drag him away. " I am pretty suuuure I have seen the look on Leo's face on yours my love." pretty suuuure, that he adores Lilo. And pretty sure an echo of her own hopeless happy look had echoed on Lilo's directed at Lilo. She had found her David.

Maui laughed, Leo's warning and Lilo's follow up of, " This special guy, gets it!" adoring look at Leo, pleased he sounded happy to be stuck with her.

And she definitely with Leo, giggling at the Chia's left behind and the way the Demi god let's wriggly Pleakley and excitable Jumba drag him away.

Following Leo out and as soon as they have goodies in arms and she dug out a portal cupcake she grins at Leo, kissing his lips. We are the luckiest anywhere with such a family."

Their family!

David chuckles at Nani's comment.

"I should hope so." Oh, he had waited so long to get her! And every minute had been worth it. He tried not to push her beyond making sure she always knew he was there for her. He had been content to be her friend, even as he wished for more! But he also understood that she had to focus on other things.

Outright rejection would have been one thing, but he had definitely gotten a 'not yet' vibe from her. So he had waited.

And he had still been waiting for her when she was finally ready!

Leo smiles at Lilo's words! Content. Then amused as Pleakley and Jumba drag Maui away. Well... that should keep all of them entertained for awhile!

There is a smile as he returns the kiss and responds with "Absolutely," regarding their family! He is quite happy with how all this is going!

Nani laughs and as their crazy growing again family dragged itself away to bring the demi god into the new century she does likewise encourage David away to help him prepare for a night of entertaining folks with some wild fire moves! " I know I know we definitely took long enough to be David and Nani?" Playfully because she defintiely knows she had made David wait a awfully long time.

And she was forever very grateful for it!

Lilo giggles and is drawing Leo back to where they started, the breeze is still here, the warmth and scents and him! His kisses she is eager to meet! " Mmmmm - it will be a wild time when the pampering happens." giggling at the thought of that juxtaposition of pampering being a wild time. She makes sure they have everything and then gives Leo the little biscuit-like cupcake to toss and opens a portal for them to step back through and head back to his lair.

David has to chuckle as Maui is pulled away by Jumba and Pelakley. He still can't believe that Maui, THE MAUI is actually here! It's incredible! But he is definitely following Nani!

"You were worth it." And he means that! Part of him still can't believe she actually said yes. Finally!

And he is very much looking forward to her helping him get ready for work!

Leo enjoys that kiss, and also chuckles at her words.

"Somehow, I feel ike 'wild' and 'pampering' aren't supposed to go together quite like that." Though he absolutely expects that one way or another, she will be very much correct.

One more kiss before he accepts that biscuit and tosses it to open the portal back to the lair.

Lilo grins, if she stumbles a little a bit swoony from the kissing she makes no effort to be stable before moving towards the concealed portal to home. " And yet we will manage just that somehow mmmm hmmmm, all very talented after all... and kids." amused! And dare she say sort of eager for such crazy!

And she doesn't know if that was purpose or not but the portal will be well hidden until it fades away on its own naturally closing access. Either way she is impressed and just so playfully will reach down and give Leo a very light teasing left cheek seat and dash for the portal! No way she could get away and all but still just a bit of play, and this trip has been successful and fun.

She can't believe any more than a still amazed Nani and David that Maui is now a part of their family. Or is again as he had been in the past!

They will pop out on a scene of Mike chasing kids around! Clearly he had just bathed them and was now trying to dry them off and the teasing kiddos had scattered to the edges of the lair making him work o)for it! So a giggling wet Malcolm goes sprinting past laughing hysterically and a Mikey is a running after him a Duncan under an arm and laughing his little purple head off!

Leo chuckled. He had little doubt that she was absolutely correct. The evening of pampering would probably be absoutely nuts. Though hopefully they could get the kids to bed at some point...

Hopefully.

As for the portal, Leo seeking a hiding place is second nature. The positioning of the portal is very much intentional, but also done with an automatic ease. He does not want anyone finding the lair, even if those here on Lilo's island seem to be just fine with them.

Leo then laughs as Lilo runs off! He could catch her anytime he wants, but he lets her stay juuuust ahead of him, catching up and putting an arm around her juuuust as they cross through.

He is amuuuuuused as Mike seems to have something of a situation on his hands. His first words are quiet, to Lilo.

"I have no idea how you could possibly think we are 'wild'."

Then louder to his brother.

"So.... bedtime's going well, I take it." Leo will help. Helping his family is his nature, buuuuut he's going to enjoy this for juuuust a moment first.
