Hello and welcome. Please forgive the mess. I'm just finishing up the paperwork for some cases I've been working on. Come in, sit down and relax. Can I get you something to drink? Tea? Coffee? If you need anything just tell me. Any questions, just ask.

*looks down at the paperwork* A missing persons case. I get a lot of those. When the NYPD have hit a dead end, they or the person's family brings the case to me. *places a hand on the top file of the pile* Luckily, this one had a happy ending. Not all of them do, I'm afraid.

*gets up from the desk and walks around the front, sitting on top of the desk* It can be difficult at times, depending on the case. But, yes. When I'm able to track down the missing person and reunite them with their family, it makes the hard work and sleepless nights worth it.

"Nice digs" Mikey said " whats a place like this cost unless its to personal to ask" mikey keeps looking around and sees the pile of cases on the desk and wonders how much work it was to be a privwte investigator seemed alot if you looked at the pile on the mans desk.

It's not too personal. The rent for this place isn't too bad. It's quite reasonable for Downtown Manhattan. But, it's not my primary place of residence. My apartment is in Brooklyn.
