Scrying Mirror

Lilo catches Raph's hand in both her own squeezing lightly her tail tip where no one could see it teasingly tapping the very tip of his casting him a wink, giggling at the Wilhara female on the other end and leaning over to whisper to Raph, " we should make out more after this..." definitely in mind to pick up again...



That is given nothing was coming to given them any trouble.


She was reassured though that even distracted as they were both Leo's were in some way keeping an eye on their situation


Because she was too, listening and sniffing the air.... so far for now nothing... No sign of their pursuers so hopefully for some time longer.

If it’s possible to disappear into the background without moving from near the front so the kids can see each other is hard to say, but Don is making a good attempt.

He still feels guilty about this happening, even though he’s been scolded about it more than once. Still, he keeps it mostly to himself, though it’s likely showing if one knows what to look for. His counterpart’s brothers seem to have accepted the situation so Don is content to sit quietly for now. And hopefully at least his own Leo is too distracted by other things to pay Don much mind.

Yes, the big turtles are being good big boys. But it's not because they don't WANT anything that moves, it's because they're capable of controlling themselves. There's a difference. "Of course. But it's not 'cause you don't want them."

“Eh, it’ll be fine.” Well, bringing a girl to meet Master Splinter would anyway. Creating hybrids all over like the big guys... That might not go over so well. That would definitely be lectures and dojo time... probably until all the hybrids were born or hatched or whatever and cared for... And Raph is still not interested in hybrids, Thanks.

“Congratulations, Big Don.” Because Big Purple doesn’t have the same ring to it. Dude, Princess? You landed a Princess? When’s the big day?”

He then grins at Lilo. Raph doesn’t want hybrids, but he does want her!

And is he crazy or is Little Don, who sort of just insisted everyone else be supportive, not thrilled about the situation...?

There's a bit of a glower at the 'Catwoman' talk, but Leo is letting it go. He's not interested in getting into that fight.

Leo offers a congratulations as well, but since he's not really directly involved, he sort of sits back, not unlike his brother... Wait... He's frowning at Don, who is either ignoring the look or hasn't noticed it. Honestly, Leo's not entirely sure which. But either way, Don is sort of hiding right there in plain sight. And he looks... guilty? About what?

"Donnie...?"

Don looked up, but he just gave a slight shake of his head. He's not going to bring it up at the moment unless he absolutely has to. And with the rest of the goings on at the moment, Leo nods. He's sure he'll get the story later.

Addy is not sure what to do now, should she move away again? Leo looked more himself and she was blushing hardcore if flattered by the words, and maybe it showed in the way her ears sat.


She glances towards the hand holding between Lilo and Raph with a grin and decides to move back a fair bit, she could still hear them but the urge to give herself a shake was too strong now and she didn't want to spray them all!


Nuzzling the happily making faces at each other and teaching Elena to chirp Duncan before moving away and giving in to the cat within.

Donatello couldn't help the sort of grin, Leonardo's tone immediately putting him at ease and he sighs a little gathering his thoughts before explaining.


" well it's a little unconvemntional, and I haven't met her yet - don't interrupt please this will go quicker...' he overrides the confused what from Raph and the big deep breath in Leonardo just took. " as you know Don here has not been well, and we got quiet close to being more than just unwell. I had to go ahead of this weird little troop we have found ourselves in with Don to get him some actual knowledgable help... only to secure that help from the locked in fortress I... agreed to marry one of the Lord's daughters."


He glances at his counterpart, " We're Genio Innocuo here, and the lord saw an opportunity and took it. No one is to blame Don, I don't, and depending on how this all goes I may be more than grateful however... antiquated." he again overrides whatever both his brothers where about to say though he can already tell they were like Don more indignant about the fact it was an arranged marriage, not how it came about. " We could just sneak off but... I will see this through, the ceremony is tomorrow, if the princess is genuinely happy about this... and the bombshell of adopting Elena I am about to drop on her then that's great. If not well I figured when we help the Daimyo out he could nullify the marriage for us." deep breath once he started explaining he wanted to just get it out and is glad his brothers actually tried to remain quiet through this part.


Then with a bit of a huff, " seriously you two? half a dozen? ..."

Leonardo does grin at Raph with a sort of agreeable nod but for the most part he is serious as he watches and listens -


Hesitating when ever he goes to speak cause Don over rides his making it clear he just wants to get it all out. Though once his purple masked brother stops talking he hums a little.


"well... no it's not Don's fault ... Wow tomorrow?! Yikes so sooooon. Damn wish the Lord there had bothered to let you two meet and chat before the rushing right into wedding. What an outdated ridiculous thing - well um congratulations again Donatello. I am glad your looking out for the princess's interests even if her father I assume is not."



There was not point becoming angry or more indignant here, he trusts Donatello did whatever was necessary to save a brother. Interdimensional one but still a brother. And trusted the guy would do all he could to make soon to be his wife happy.


A bit of a shrug, " If that is what the partners Raphael have had the pleasure of being with so far want. Let's not get ahead of ourselves, we are treated as Genio Innocuo here and it's been both a blessing and curse but we dont even know if we are sterile or incompatible with Nexus beings or even if it would be a great thing for them if the females would want to keep any resulting pregnancies. We'll be back here to find out."


He was definitely coming back for his - if there will be any one day - hybrids.

"oh that is Raphael and I..."


Raphael meanwhile growled a little, "ridiculous - so rushed... Maaaan I'm sorry Don you were used as a pawn like that whilst down... but the Princess could not be in better hands honestly." a grin at Don and Donatello there at those words amused glance at Raph. " precisely man -"


Half a glance at Leo dude would be a wicked poker player. Cat girl didn't push anything moving away from him and happy Duncan.


He listens to Leonardo and nods pouting he sure hoped he wasn't sterile! What a bummer that would be!

Inaba smiles softly, " if you'd could though would be amazing, just think we're a part of the return of the Genio Innocuo... if there are hybrids they and their mothers elevated to celebrity status... they'll both never want for nothing ... but also be some of the most hunted for their shells and the luck they bring ...."


Both dreamy and concerned for these hypothetical one day Genio Innocuo.

Mikey grin, " I had always dreamed I would be at least a progenitor of a clan of awesome...." he beams proudly then looks at Don's here as -


"my Don says we are plenty virile... Do I want to know how he knows that?.. and have potential to turn any female into a mother given mutagen in our bodily fluids... He called it sexually transmitted mutism" eyeing the Dons cause they would know more than he for sure!

Lilo hums a little, " I am one of those females not exactly eager for my own hybrid thanks... but heck would love to hang about those that are! They are so very cute!" giggling watching the playing children and waggling her tail tip at Duncan's snout.


Giggling when he sneezes and not sure of all Mikey just said but it sounded promising. Moving closer to Raph giving his hand a light squeeze.

Addy is back beside Leo but not too close and clears her throat a little. " Congratulations Donatello, I am sorry it happened that way - some of the more royal families do tend to do arrange marriages more than the rest of us."


Her ears drooping a little, " my long boat was recently destroyed in an attack on us, probably an effort to catch Leo, Leonardo, Raph, Raphael and especially Duncan he looks like living amethyst... We got away but my boat...I plan to find a new one and make it a home... sanctuary for the hybrids and their mothers should any arise... try to at least keep most out of unsavoury hands." for she couldn't force all to live with her but she was going to do her best.


And she is pleased to take Donatello, Leonardo and Raphael back by those words.


Lilo yaying - well at least she could count on monkey gal as a crew member hahahaha

Leo frowns as the larger Donatello tells his story, and his own brother continues trying to disappear into the background without actually moving.

"Each." Leo commented of the half dozen hybrids. He couldn't help himself.

At least no one was blaming Don... Except Don... Shell.

"Donnie... Don't do that." There's no way any of that was Don's fault.  

Donatello, thank you for taking care of my brother." Leo bowed as best he could from where he was holding Duncan. The kids were just having far too much fun with their game of peekaboo. And he had a feeling that the other turtle would prefer it stay that way.

When Addy comes closer again, he reaches back to her slightly. He learned his poker face from Master Splinter, and Master Splinter has one of the best poker faces of all time. He still likes her idea. And he would love to go sailing with her.

He's staring at Mikey and the comments he made. "Mutism..." That sounds... weird...

Now they were playing!

Duncan would duck out of sight in Leo's lap and pop up with a boo!


Giggling when Elena and Liam on the other end would - mostly fake surprise at his sudden reappearance.

Don listens to the now familiar tale of how they reached this point. And he's not really any happier about it. Though he does hope it ends well, and he will do whatever he can to make things work out well. Except for Svengal. That guy can take a long walk off a short cliff.

He looks up when Leo calls his name and tells him not to feel guilty. He glances up, seeing if his brother will give him one good reason why, other than the previously stated. Perhaps that is asking for a lot. When that isn't forthcoming, he looks back down at the kids, only to be stopped by Mikey's STMs...

"The theory is sound, though it would certainly depend on concentrations of residual mutagen in our systems, which probably varies by dimension and individual. There may also be individual mates or even whole species who are resistant to small amounts of mutagen. So... hybrids are likely possible, but definitely not guaranteed. Though it's also possible, however unlikely, that the mutagen in our systems could be toxic or highly reactive to other individuals or species. So... exercise caution." His tone is informational, and lacks the enthusiasm that sort of discussion would normally garner. Though the kids playing, and Liam's antics in his lap are slowly dragging him back out. Also it seems that the horse is already out of the barn at this point anyway.

He smiled slightly at Addy's idea, and even if Leo's hard to read, Don has plenty of practice, and he can read his brother like a book. It's obvious to him that Leo would love to spend some time on that longboat. "Sounds like a boat that's going to need a few good fighters on hand."

He takes a breath, where he would normally be laughing at the kids antics, Don is subdued by the conversation.

"They are cute, but it's more than that. Duncan, like Liam, is part dragon. Between the Genio Innocuo heritage and the dragon... What they can do... They're almost invaluable... You can't let them fall into the wrong hands. That's all they've ever known."

The three children had no idea of the seriousness of the chatter over their heads. They only knew it was hilarious to pull faces at each other and then giggle at said funny faces, Liam content to stay in Don's lap the whole time Elena perched on the edge of Donatello's knee.

And so far away but that forgotten for the moment was Duncan having a blast happy as a tornado in a trailer park to play from Leo's lap.

Donatello smiles and pats Don's shell in a brotherly sort of way bowing back at Leo, " you and or he would have done the same for any of us Leo, we all have that 'would never let a brother down' mentality." he is grateful for the thanks and this part he means for his counterpart too trying to drive the last of his guilt away.


" Yeah Addy I got that notion when making negociations, still... maybe this will be the best thing to happen to me? and the princess? even if she wants out I intend to enjoy experiencing what sort time of married life I can and she allows.' After all any time to learn and experience was a great time for a Donatello!


Liam suddenly sits up all serious faced as a three year old could expression ernest, " Leo... Dad Leo... love my Duncan? please? much?" really doubling down on the words his own dad just said to take care of Duncan, only he didn't know as many words so went with the ones he knew.


Naaawwwww Donatello dawwwwwws looking at Mikey. " Everything Don just said, and of course we Dons know, we know almost everything you know/" half playful on that response.


He was actually less nervous about his up coming day tomorrow now. More ready for it now.

Raphael dawwwww, " Donnie even if it's not meant to be forever you will make her happy for a little while and that's what matters." he is sure of that, and grins at the smaller Don, " I only half understood everything.... and yes half a dozen each at least Leo -" chuckling at him but the eyes he turns to Addy were gentle for such a big guy.


" You would do that?...that's - incredible... thank you - we are going to have to help you get a good sized boat then huh?" really touched the cat woman was thinking that far ahead. She wanted to care for theirs.


He looks back at the little blue guy with Don and chuckles, " kid has an Leo ness about him -" He looks back at Duncan and churrs a little moving himself and his massive brother aside so the Don and Leo and kids could see each other a bit better. And of course Raph and Leon now that he, Donatello and Leonardo had gotten most of their catching up out of the way...


And wooow Donatello getting hitched. He could scarcely believe it!

Leo smiled at the larger Donatello's response. And he nodded. It was the sort of thing he could see just about any of them doing if they had to to save a brother. Actually, that would be a small price to pay for a brother's life.

There's a smile at the next statement, which Leo is sure is at least in part an attempt to stop Don from feeling guilty. And while Leo is sure it will help, and might just be enough, he knows his brother is a stubborn turtle when it comes to things like this. If Don feels responsible for something, it's extremely hard to convince him otherwise. They're too much alike in that way. Though turning it on its head and making it a good thing is really the best way to go about it. He wonders if the same is true for the larger counterpart.

Leo looked up at Don's explanation of the mutism thing. There was something off about his tone, though it was getting a little better as he went. So hopefully that meant that Don was letting himself come out of his funk.  And out of the lecture he got 'Probably could make babies, small chance of mutating or killing partner.' Which... he supposed wasn't entirely unlike anyone else.

And... was Don actually suggesting they sail with Addy...? At least for awhile? It had been subtle, but...

Leo can't help but chuckle at the happy antics of the little guys, particularly the one in his lap who was giggling so. Leo actually feels pretty bad for the child. He had to be absolutely starved for other kids to play with.

And Leo frowned toward the kids at Don's repeated explanation. It was hard to think about these kids having grown to this point in 'the wrong hands,' though Leo got the impression that Don knew more about those 'wrong hands' than he was saying. At least at the moment. Still, Leo knew that tone, and would take it seriously. Even through the concern about the kids, Leo can't help but chuckle at their antics. Especially those of the one in his lap.

"Okay, Donnie. I understand."

And then Liam... For one brief panicked moment, Leo looked at Don. Though, obviously, his brother had already accepted this role and was not only content in it, he'd been protective of it. And the look on Don's face made it clear that he would be supremely disappointed if Leo said anything other than what Liam wanted to hear.

"I promise, Liam." Why did he feel like he wasn't only making a promise to the child, but making one to himself...? Oh... Raphael seems to have hit that nail on the head. Leo chuckled softly. If the whole Dad thing actually sticks, Don is going to have to learn to be a little more assertive about smaller things if he's going to survive raising that boy... Don could assert himself if it was really important, but the little things... Well... Leo would have his back.

She saw Leo reach - but wasn't sure how close he wanted her.

Still she moves close enough to nuzzle his shoulder purring a bit and blushing under the look Leonardo gave her.


Though all he said was a soft, "thank you" she knew it meant all Raphael had just spoken. And at least now they were very motivated in helping her regain a long boat. A larger one to boot!


Still half a dozen hybrids each! She sniggers a bit at that, " might have to try finding a large ship." amused.


Chuckling at the little blue turtle. "of course Liam. Of course." agreeing with Lilo with a nod. She too was not ready for kits of her own, hybrids or not, not ready for a long time.


Oh! "we are heading for a town on the other side of this island so will try to find a scrying mirror there to make contact easier. If only could get word to others." well couldn't have everything.

" Small doses of our mutagen is actually good for our lovers.' Leonardo comments into the quiet with a soft bit of amusement pointing a finger at Raphael and winking, " Immensely, so very handsome and bright and brave."


Poking his tongue out when Raphael mutters bossy playfully towards him and Leo.


Donatello on the other end nodding. " yes well our mutagen was a redesign of Kraang ooze and done so in a lab with the inherent ability to cause cellular regeneration.... all the partners we have had previously have probably found minor ailments repaired, chronic pain at least dulled and for the sicker clients if ... you guys saw them more and gave more they'd probably recover better." Donatello shrugs, it was something he followed diligently considering their line of work outside vigilantism. Ever mindful. " we have been lucky as far as I know that no clients have been knocked up ...' his tone suggesting he was taking no chances if and when he got home and would be doing something about that.



Leonardo lets him chatter, it was nice to listen and out of the way of the others he was content with this. He'd made contact with Donatello and he and Don were okay. Not ideal but okay.


Next would be trying to get in touch with Michelangelo some time. The baby brother.

Leon gets a slightly naughty grin and nods, " though we will refrain from telling Master Splinter absolutely everything I may... or may not have gotten up to with Inaba when we do get time alone... hard to find this Mikey is like a wizard he just pops in an out of existence and insist on watching the 'juicy juiciness-"


To which Mikey just looks soooo innocent and grins.


" annnnd the locals think its also juicy..." He'd have like to have gotten up to more... perhaps he should take a plunge and invite Inaba into the room he was given later tonight?


Sniggering as the points Raph scored against the bigger turtles, though neither were disputing anything. He is glad his brother seems eager and happy for the monkey gal. Especially with the up in the air way Venus and he left things.

Mikey is not embarrassed that he does enjoy creeping about trying to catch his companions at least snogging, " only the smoochies, I aint sneaking about for anything else... well maybe with a few locals.'


So amused reaching over and rubbing the little blue head, " you are going to give your dad a run for his money huh? yeah? already a girl whose a friend and all!" nuzzling the two kids his tail wagging away crazily.

Raph actually manages to sort of keep mostly to himself for the heavy stuff. That sucks. Though at least Big Don seemed to be in decent spirits about it. Little Don, not so much, but he seemed to be relaxing again after awhile. This was really between the other two groups and he lets them talk. They have decidedly more to deal with than he and Leo do.

He returns the hand squeeze from Lilo, and smiles, happy that she's not ready for hybrids yet! Neither is he.

There's an open, honest laugh at Mikey crashing the juicy juiciness between his brother and the pretty bunny. "You are a riot. Thanks for keeping him honest."

Chuckling Inaba lightly boffs Mikey's in the side with one of her long feet. " half the time you just poof out of no where and give me a hear tattack!' More than once in the middle of smoochies with Leon she would gasp or cry out or leap into his arms - or catch him!


All because this crazy turtle would just suddenly be there with that 'juicy' face.


It was adorably disturbing.

Don sighed, and accepted his counterpart's words. And the big guy did sound more confident in his decision. Probably now that he'd spoken to his brothers. Don knew that if roles were reversed, that he would feel better after talking to some of his brothers about it. So he lets it drop, and turns his attention back to the kids.

When Liam asks Leo to take care of Duncan, Don gives Leo a look. His brother had seemed not only hesitant, but panicked. And if he had said anything other than that he would do exactly what Liam wanted, Don would be sorely disappointed in his brother. And thankfully, Leo did make the right decision.

That is an awful lot of potential hybrids that Addy is talking about finding and settling on her boat... Don wonders if she quite realized what she was going to be getting herself into.

Though Don hadn't yet witnessed Mikey's dropping in on Leon and Inaba, he had to chuckle.

"He's a ninja, it's sort of what we do." Though perhaps not typically with the goal of getting glimpses of kisses.

And as for Liam! "There's no money to run for." Don is really more interested in just taking care of Liam at this point. He's not interested in finding a girl here. "And there is a big difference between a friend who happens to be a girl and a girlfriend. And Elena is a friend who happens to be a girl. Just like April."

Liam waited with his oooh so serious face until he had Leo's yes... well it sounded like a yes...


He beams and his tail goes to town wagging so hard his backside does with it sending Elena into a peel of giggles which he ignores!


Standing in Don's lap and nuzzling his happily tail now in full view and going crazy! "Dad! Duncan is happy and has big turtle too!" so very pleased!

Duncan sensed Leo's panic and wasn't sure what caused it or why and missed his brothers tail going mad and Elena's giggling as he draws himself into his shell completely with a little alarmed chirp and hides!

She is giggling hard and her own tail wagging she tries to catch the end of Liam's - the flames over and gasps falling back in Donatello's lap in typical child hood over dramatics - where'd Duncan go?! She is trying to see next moment....


Not connecting the shell in Leo's lap to Duncan still being there just yet.

She pecks that smile swiftly, hinting she was indeed eager to pick up after the call.


Her grin a little bit teasing and saying loud enough to tease the wilhara female and Leon a bit as there is a very happy blue boy hugging Don, " heeeey at least if something happens despite my best efforts not to let it... At least one is the most common among wildermann like me... wilhara on the other hand with their litters... Hah and Spinutods tens to a hundred depending on size of the female..." she glances at Addy.


"you may have to get a hold of a crewed three mastered monster for all the possible hybrids and mothers." totally playful but probably not wrong.



And humming soft for Raphs ear holes only.

Laughing with Raph, Mikey grins, " I will.... you'd think a bit of kiss the girl serenading would improve the mood, waving away those cute long feet sniggering a bit at Lilos words cause - " hah yeah Leon there is a phrase about bunnies and breeding ya know! Ah! sucking himself into his shell like Duncan to avoid Leon's wapp at him this time.


Sniggering in side hearing more shock from Elena.

”Whoop, I’m sorry, Little Guy, I didn’t mean to startle you. You can come out, it’s okay.” He did feel bad for scaring the child, and rubbed his little shell hoping to coax him back out. Don looked less than thrilled about the scared child. Actually, Don was starting to look tired... and Leo wondered who had truly initiated the contact. They had been helping out at first, but as far as Leo knew, they weren’t assisting anymore. He had certainly had to drop out when he overheated himself.

Leo heard Liam’s shout of excitement and chuckled. “Yeah, Duncan has a big turtle too.” Because... well, he couldn’t much tell the little guys no.

He listened and watched the goings on, it really was good to see this other group and see some of their brothers, but he’s watching his own brother start to droop. Not much, But Leo knows what to look for.

“As much as I hate to say it, I think it’s time to wrap this up, guys...”

And with that, he dipped back into a light meditation, trying to assist his brother with the connection and perhaps do a little to restore his reserves.

Raphael elbows Leonardo and nods to the Don then Leo, " We should join back in."


Leonardo looks guilty, damn it he'd let Donatello's news and the chatter derail him, " right right... sorry Don, let us revamp you a little with your brother. We'll try to somehow get the word out to other turtles to find themselves some scrying mirrors." Maybe start with that other Leonardo that joined them briefly if he is still there. " Congratulations Donatello on your nuptials, we will hope for the best and you don on becoming dad to that bundle of cute." Shifting seating himself beside his counterpart and with a grin at the cute kids and his purple masked brother begins focusing, breathing, reaching for that link again.


" we love you bro, glad your okay and Don because the Leo's have been driving us nuts with worry for yous." he snorts as Donatello chuckles and closes his eyes to try and focus too, let the Leo's borrow his strength. And of course give the Don and Leo and Leon and Raph their moments to farewell for now.

Raph laughs at Lilo’s possibly on point assessment of the vessel Addy may require for her task. Though hopefully it won’t quite come to that. And he grins at her hum. He would churr back, but he doesn’t quite have that sort of control of the volume.

And it sounds like his Leo and Inaba need to be extra careful! “You know what they say about rabbits and multiplying.” He laughs.

When Little Blue called an end to the session, Raph glanced over at the other group again, as the Blues started meditating again.

“Catch ya Later, Leo.”

Don chuckled at Liam’s excitement and nuzzled him back. He is starting to feel the drain Inaba was talking about though, and apparently Leo noticed, because he’s calling an end to the scrying session.

Don sort of shakes off the concern, but he does appreciate the help!

“Definitely worried. I’m glad you’re better, Donnie, and whatever you did—

“Went swimming with swamp squid...”

“Yeah... Don’t do that.”

“You know, once was definitely enough.” Don chuckled, starting to feel the others join back in and help him out. He sighs some relief.

“Take care of yourself, Leo. And Duncan.

"You too, Donnie."

Adalinda grinned at Lilo, " you might be right... but I am a long boat captain never had a multi mastered  ship to handle." and that would mean a bigger crew. Siiigh she would think about it more after the call. Maybe even draw out her maps.


Absently rubbing Duncan's shell - and partially Leo's fingers as she puzzles over it and smiles at Inaba amused by the teasing levelled at the two. ' take care of them bunny gal." She is glad that mob have a local with them.

Giggling still Elena looks up at Donatello and moves closer to his plastron - and here she could reach over and tickle Liam in his side. Also tail tap the top of Mikey's shell.

Liam yays and is all nuzzles for Don, smiling and tail still wagging madly! though he looks back to his brother a loud call to him, almost a howl, but not quiet. Sensing he was going to lose sight of him and just wanting to see him a bit longer  grinning at Elena briefly.


His little hands holding the edges of Don's plastron.

Duncan slowly reemerges from his shell grinning shyly up at Leo, "All gooooo -' his question fading and he is stitting up under the touch of Leo and Addy snout only just brushing under the curve of Leo's chin in a nuzzle when he hears Liam's loud call, his tail tucking and expanding his little plastron as far as it would go with a big breath in to answer his blue brothers sound...


they were sort of almost howls now...


One day they would be roars.

" And congrats on our niece Donatello." Leonardo's voice and the feel of that energy sweeping over him as he focuses. A combination of Raphael's heated brute force and Leonardo's cool endurance.


it felt good and far away somewhere the slight zing of Michelangelo.


" thanks guys... I love yous, take care."


Speaking between the voices of the others, smiling and chuckling at the feel of Elena so close and chuckling at the conversation between his counterpart and Leo.
