Re: D&D ; Double the Fun.
Don chuckled softly. He doesn't mind hearing it again, it's the sort of thing he'd do to his own brothers.
"Better safe than sorry."
There was definitely no mistaking that this particular sample belonged to Randal. Though it's pretty clear that Don wants nothing to do with the mutagen sample, he does accept the pipette though. There's a brief moment as he familiarizes himself with it, sort of subtly watching DonnieBoy's reaction to his statement, because it hadn't actually been a question.
And that sort of reaction is exactly why he had waited until the other turtle was not holding or doing anything potentially dangerous.
Once DonnieBoy starts his explanation, Don actually goes about removing the water. But... master multitasker, he's listening while also very much concentrating on what he's supposed to be doing.
Actually, the distraction is sort of helpful. He hates working with mutagen, and space suit or not, he's nervous about this. Having another point of focus is actually helping him keep calm.
He finishes removing the water and prepping the slide. During the whole thing, he's not really looking at DonnieBoy.
"That must be a pretty scary way for her to wake up." It's a casual, no judgement tone. Simply a statement. Heck, Don's got similarly huge events that he doesn't talk about.
Ones he probably should... That dystopian future. His family knows about it, but that's all. He's never really been pressed on it, and they've allowed him to keep it to himself. Don couldn't even swear at this point that he's ever told them straight up that he got them all killed, though he's certain they know that the Leo, Raph and Mike of that time all died. He's been pretty careful to keep himself out of any sort of major decision, but if forced to make some sort of call beyond giving Leo choices... he's not sure he could. Making a decision for himself, that's fine, but for the others...
Even sort of maybe accidentally having a small part in their creation has been allowed to be swept under the rug.
Then there's the Outbreak virus, and the aftermath his family is at least mostly unaware of. That's going to really bite him in the shell when more of that comes out in what will probably be the next few days...
But yeah... Don's one to talk... He does recognize the irony of him being the one saying something like this.
It's actually sort of surprising that he's not a complete basket case. Well... not more of one.

" especially when we have brothers in orange - who just love to be ever so wonderfully helpful.' he chuckles to himself stating this, Don was right, it still made him feel sheepish he told Don again but also it was sort of comforting too in a way that he did, sort of self-realization that he had learned lessons.
And now the computer was ready, and the slide to thanks to Don, DonnieBoy offers the seat in front of the computer if Don has had enough of being near the mutagen, he had noted the focused multitasking and knew why - and was impressed with his counterpart. " alright fresh sample is secure and should be popping up one screen - did you want to adjust the scope of the monitor?" offering the chair still. And the go-ahead to lead this exploration as he'd requested the fresh slid
And honestly glad for the earhole, the attention and smiling, " Again I am reminded of Dad telling me I am both incredibly intelligent but also very oblivious, I think- you are right - it has to be scary - I... should make a more conscious effort to stop wandering off in the middle of the night - and talk to her... it's cathartic speaking to you, sharing... I hope Lee and I have been the same for you Don, and I know I am most honored to be an ear hole to chat to any time." he does look concerned, recalling all Don had shared with himself and there to listen if he wanted to share more or just share the moment. " Probably time to encourage Lee to set something aside for us to catharsis all over each other. Wooooow did that come out all wrong." like some sort of alcoholics anon. But really it probably would help their mental health all around. Maybe encouraging Don to think of the same for himself and his brothers too.

"Yes... helpful..." Though Mike actually did know his way around a lot of the major tools, saying things in the wrong order had definitely bitten Don in the tail before. Like DonnieBoy, Don was more careful with his wording now than he had been when they were younger. And he had a tendency to repeat himself.
It turns out there is a big difference between "Don't touch, but yes, that's the remote," and "yes, that's the remote, but don't touch."
Don is adjusting the slide slightly as he's offered the chance to use DonnieBoy's system. Which normally he would jump at! And it's clearly tempting! Buuuut...
"You know your systems, it'll be more efficient if you do it." And Don would very much like this all put away and cleaned up as soon as possible. And if that means being a little closer to it than he would prefer, then so be it.
"I appreciate that." He doesn't share anything more at the moment, he's too full of nervous energy to do so. But he is listening, and chuckled softly at the wording. "True... but the idea is... probably sound."
He does move closer though to see what this stuff does to his cells. For the most part, the cells look fairly normal, nothing to indicate that instability he's mentioned. One or two however, are ever so slightly different in how they accept coloring, very slight difference in shape. Things that would be easily overlooked or classified as 'not statistically significant.' The differences are small enough that Don has occasionally wondered if he's making them up. So small that he sometimes wonders if the instability he knows darned well is there is just in his head. There's not a whole lot more if you were to do a full genetic analysis.
Don is both curious and nervous. Standing actually gives him an outlet for some of that energy.
The mutagen interacting though will be a little different, slow to start, but once it gets going, it blasts through at least three transitions before settling. The cells that were slightly odd before vibrate afterward.
Don's expression is unreadable.

Re: D&D ; Double the Fun.
A nod and grin, of course, he had no doubt given time and access Don would probably get know his system as good or better than DonnieBoy himself, after all the guy had built a transmat into the internet! But for now, he resumes his spot and lets Don sort of the focusing - turning the screen so Don can see them more too a bit more comfortably. A nod at the appreciation comment, he and Lee he knew would hate to burden Don with their problems and not likewise be reciprocal on the matter.
And definitely glad for the moment that Don was not razing him for his wording choice, for he was also eager to do this, to see what happens.
Though he is stumped at what he is seeing for the moment, mostly because he had no baseline look at Don genetics or mutagen or cells to estimate how much of this reaction is Don's cells, the boy's cells, or either of the two mutagens. He looks at Don, " what do you think just happened then, that was... odd?" and his uncertainty for the moment is there in his tone, but it also has the edge of woooow and he wants to get to the bottom of this and is interested in the results. Ooooh! hopefully, Leatherhead has samples around. And also encouraging, this was a small test and it could be the beginning of understanding more about Don, he has drawn his notebook out and scribbling away with either hand at times sketching out the first cells, and marking those small things Don noted, though DonnieBoy doesn't know that, the slight size, shape, color differences, and described under the drawings how the samples reacted, making no conclusions yet just noting it all down. Eager for Don's thoughts before putting forth some of his own, not that he had many yet. Well on this part just yet.

Re: D&D ; Double the Fun.
Don doesn't look stumped, or particularly surprised.
Or... much of anything.
He just sort if nods at the "odd" assessment. There is a soft sigh, and quieter words. "Yeah, welcome to working with my genome." He had really been hoping that his cells wouldn't do something 'odd'. But they did, and he's disappointed, though not surprised. Though, odd isn't necessarily bad either.
If DonnieBoy hasn't seen his own DoctorDonnie look, he's seeing one now. It's almost devoid of emotion.
"If we could monitor this for... oh, a couple hours, I would be interested in knowing if those vibrations stop. Or if anything else changes. And I think we need a sample from one of my brothers." The wording and tone is almost painfully professional.
Especially for someone who just said he appreciates the friendly ear, but while Don has a couple of theories, without additional data, there are several that go places he's just not ready to try and explain. Or accept. But, he will give what data he can. The fact that he offered his cells up for this at all really is him sharing. Saying too much actually could sway DonnieBoy's interpretation of what just happened. And Don needs a new opinion. So he likely won't say much.
"It was quick so hard to say, but that first transition looked like it might be the Outbreak mutation, I'm not sure what the second was, just too quick to say. And the third..." Looks similar to what they've seen before, only with the addition of the vibrating cells. "If that was recorded, I would appreciate a copy that I can play back in slow motion later. And if you could freeze it afterwards, I'd like to see a full analysis of the genome. We can do that for any others you have too. If you want, HAILI can run one in about an hour. And she might be able to estimate what those final cells would belong to." Actually touching mutagen is definitely not something he wants to do, but computer models? That's right up his alley. Still, it's definitely an offer to crunch the data, not a demand. And a tiny but more interaction with the mutated cells would be required.
He folds his arms. Sort of looking at the floor, his mind is definitely elsewhere, but it's an old pain. A familiar disappointment. After a moment, he's back and looks at DonnieBoy, more him and less robot.
"I got a text a little bit ago, probably the Leos calling us back."

Re: D&D ; Double the Fun.
DonnieBoy doesn't understand for a moment this is Don, detached Doctor face, he himself is possibly by contrast too emotive as the family doctor, but he does get it after a moment and he is listening, a bit a small grin at the first comment, " thank you, it's... fascinating." And only spurred on his wish to have another sample or all sample of Don's brothers and whatever work third Earth Leatherhead had to compare everything with. Either way, he double-checks to make sure he is recording everything and that it is saved.
" And sure I record all work done on the mutagen nowadays, and with the portable portal you can come any time you like to look through anything in here you want to annnnnd mmmmm I could set up a live stream to keep tabs on the sample under the scope for some time and it can be sent through Lee's interdimensional phone to your shell cell or I could set up a spare tphone to receive the signal with just a live stream app to access it through. And of course, send the recording over to peruse" Donnieboy offers with a smile after all Don was right this was one sample who knew if it would react this way all the time or take time to fully incorporate and finish reacting, or stop vibrating?
Like Timothy perhaps it would take coming at things from a very different angle, or Jumba's input or Leatherheads study or a combination of all to know more.
A grin at the news there was a message, " we'll go back when you're ready if you want to hang a bit and get the live stream set up or a tphone with such sorted, or head back now, also if you wanted to pick out some KraangTech to play with - it really is a fantastic metal and the tech with it pretty cool." happy to go back when Don was ready

Re: D&D ; Double the Fun.
There was the slightest sort of frown at his messed up genetics being called fascinating before he slips into that detached doctor mode. He gets it, he does! But... Don also has to live in it, and well... that definitely makes it less fascinating.
"If you just want to send it through Lee's phone to the shell cell when it's finished, that would be sufficient. I don't need it right away." Don's pretty sure he's not going to have a chance to do much with it tonight. At least not until everyone else is in bed. And honestly, if he has it, he'll probably be sitting and staring at it while he should be doing other things... "And honestly, it would probably distract me from other tasks."
He grins at the offer of some of the Kraang tech though! "No hurry. The Leos can wait." Because that always goes over so well! But, really, Don doesn't particularly want to deal with that full group again just yet, so he's perfectly happy to be here and poking through new tech instead!
"I have a couple pieces from those labs that I haven't had a chance to do much with, but if you know of anything particularly interesting, I'd love to see it. Oh, maybe that space suit you mentioned earlier." Don definitely wants to look into that if they're going to be dimension hopping! He'd trust DonnieBoy's judgement on interesting tech! "And before we leave, I want to see some of your garage."

Re: D&D ; Double the Fun.
" Sure thing, hah tell me about it, plenty is the amount of times I have been meant to be doing something and get caught up in one of the project that I can only sit and ponder over." liiiike Timothy... he hums a bit in thought, " might send over what I have on Raph's treatment to return from plant form to mutant turtle, he two has some similar left over cells too those his definitely plantlike, might be a sort of comparison." he mostly thinks this out loud but will definitely do - the thought only just occurring as he misses the frown of his counterpart, he'd have been disappointed in himself for making that happen, but is distracted.
He grins and carefully places that microscope and it's sample down into his desk to keep it mostly out of site and therefore not an open invite for a curious Mikey to come a poking at it and then he makes a one minutes gesture to take Randals still frozen sample back into hiding, Returning to Don and nodding, " it's not quiet an impressive garage but serviceable and I try to recycle and up cycle everything." Clearly. Making sure his desk here is clear and cleaned and the could move on past the algae pond to the 'garage' part of his lab, where the Roadstar was currently up on the car lift for a little work underneath and is clearly a recycled very old farming truck of some type and the shiny new kraang engine part. A chuckle, " keep the suite you got now, its the tech of Professor Honeycutt, really cool stuff" And here the open garage roller door showed a different angle on the collection of vehicles, ShellRaiser and Battle Shell slightly ahead and clearly most used of them, Karais FootBike - but that he didn't dare up cycle until she said he could, it was there mostly for safe keeping and so he had a model to work with for the bike he was doing... bikes? maybe one for the other brothers too. The massive and folded down under its shell TurtleMech. The rocket there too probably least used of the lot. And here Don could explore to his hearts content the open garage, the simple row of benches touched opposite the car lift and the tool box, it was one of those fancy red ones but was clearly like everything else DonnieBoy had, up cycled or recycled, opening the drawers would reveal the mismatched old but cared for and in working condition tools and on the benches was the stuff for welding and soldering and even a cabinet along the end there for spray paints and stuff. And here Don could also have a good look through the pile of kraang stuff, even a couple of exosuites, one with the artificial skin and the others not. " if you want newer stuff we could see Bishop in Dimension X and get some gear off him, maybe .... even a crystal from Dimension x - they use a crystal from there to power most things, the one in the shell raiser is big enough to power a city on the moon - The one in the TurtleMech at least three cities on the moon.

Re: D&D ; Double the Fun.
Yeah, they definitely shared the easily distracted by the project of the day (minute?) thing in common.
"Thanks, I'd appreciate it. I'll see what I have on file. Some of Leatherhead's work might give you an idea for Timothy." Because calling it that was easier than calling it their work on the Outbreak Virus.
Don gives Donnie a sort of an amused almost eyeroll sarcasm 'oh, please' look at the garage not being impressive. Though Don's newer stuff in particular is more streamlined, it is still mostly recycled parts just like DonnieBoy's. He has just managed to get his hands on enough from other entities like aliens, Bishop and the Foot to dress his stuff up a little more. Underneath though...? It looks a lot like this. Most of this doesn't look entirely unlike his earlier work... The Sewer Slider, for instance has a similar appearance, well... minus the graffiti that seems to be purposely adorning some of the rigs.
And Don is a kid in a candy store. Because a lot of this stuff that DonnieBoy says isn't impressive, Don is very much impressed by! He is amused and sort of fascinated by the roadster on the lift. It's possibly even more incongruous than the BattleShell's internal workings in that funky old moving van.
"Thanks. It sort of reminds me of the temporary suits we used in 2105. I didn't get a chance to see how they actually worked though." He knew a little of the general theory, but hadn't actually gotten to open one up and see what makes it tick.
Don recognizes the pile of motorcycle bits, and sort of smiles, amused. Hoping that lets DonnieBoy and Raph become a little closer.
He knows -knows- that this is a very different Bishop. That here, Bishop is a good guy. Like in the future. Heck, they even sort of had a tentative truce with Bishop of their world now, but... since finding the kids he's not so sure about that. Convenient that the guy had left that little detail out of their more recent interactions. Even knowing as he does that this is a different Bishop, just the name makes his chest feel tight.
"Ah... no, this is more than enough, and I have a little left over from the labs the other night."
He makes his way over to the Turtle Mech. It looks... incredible, but under its shell like it is, it's difficult to tell what it might actually be.
"What's this one?"

Re: D&D ; Double the Fun.
DonnieBoy grins, he is definitely enjoying having someone who understands him, and well had inspired the bike.
He points out the cage on the back of the road star. " that's Doctor Cluckingsworth's seat, she's a mutant chicken, she got into the medicine failed retro mutant Bach I made for Leo and she got into it..." pointing at the wall and the chicken with the brain growth on its head.
Grinning and moving to the turtle mech, reaching past Don to touch the truck bed snout and wake the giant up, though empty right now even though it's arms and legs and head extend to show its turtle shape from beneath that Volkswagen beetle shell it was staying low whilst unmanned so four could climb into its body cavities. " The turtle mech. I have two other vehicles we can't house here, Turtle Blimp and the TurtleSub."

Re: D&D ; Double the Fun.
Don is sort of getting used to the whole "this is the thing I accidentally mutated when..." thing that he keeps hearing from Donnie. There's sort of an 'ah...' expression. Very, very cool.
He takes a few steps back as the Turtle Mech stands. "Whoa... That is... So. Cool!" He grins at DonnieBoy. "Probably don't have time tonight, but I definitely want to see those too." He moves forward to take a closer look at some of the Mech. He is grinning, checking out a couple of the details of the contraption!
"I am going to have to show you the copter sometime. The tunneler and the sub are stored with it too. Ooh... your servo work is amazing."

Re: D&D ; Double the Fun.
DonnieBoy actually looks proud of his machines, in a different sort of way than he gets when its showing them off to his brothers, sorta like showing off to April, and grins a bit opening the closest to them gate where one would climb up into to work the battle bot. Just so Don would see more of the controls and seating, " I found that running this thing like a gaming system - of course with a large memory bank worked the best for all operations - so driving it is like having to collaboratively play with another three players to work it right, every one sort of controls their section. Didn't leave in the neural workings that MetalHead has, thought it best to not have a giant version of him." Because trying to put in a code for it otherwise was long and tedious and well he loved it at the time there had been a demand he put on himself to be finished. Or at least some what ready.
So just recycling gaming code from any mmorpg was all that he really needed, of course changes to work with the machine itself but much easier.
"have some plans to recycle some old kraang stealth ships into something to visit Chompy's mother more - for the moment Mona is the only one who can reach her and make sure she is happy with Chompy's care - but it would be nice to be able to get to know her as a family -" gesturing sort of absentmindedly behind him to the three bit collection of screens tracking Chompy's godzilla sized mother as she circled their solar system. " definitely a next time- yous have a chopper?! eeeee man sorta jealous we only got the blimp." sort of absolutely jelling - that would be cool and he is clearly eager to see it. " can't get enough of seeing your vehicles and work, incredible engineering - ya have asub too? and a tunneller - oh can't wait!" bit distractedly - knowing they should head back... and well his April is there!
Still - toys....!
Well suppose they had to go back through the hall of portals...
and woooot there was Haili to say hi to1 "Did you want to select some of the kraang tech to take back now??

Re: D&D ; Double the Fun.
Don is sort of thrilled by the choice of using an MMORPG ! "Where on Earth did you take something this big?" So. Cool! And definitely interested in how the controls are set up. There is plenty here to sort if draw quite a bit of chattering out if the normally quieter turtle.
It does sort of vaguely occur to him the DonnieBoy has had limited options for sharing things like this with someone who actually speaks the language, and can understand more if what's actually going on under the hood so to speak.
He is definitely checking out what he can access!
"Probably wise... I get worried about HAILI from time to time and she's trapped in a truck." And completely shifting gears. "I'd love to see the code for this thing." Because it has to be heavy duty, even if it is built on the mmorpg coding! Oh, and back to the previous topic. "Granted, HAILI is in a heavily armed truck that can fly... but still, nothing like this."
He chuckled. "And I want a blimp now. But we stole the chopper from Bishop. Practically had to part it and rebuild to find all his trackers... I had one of his train cars too, but mostly cannibalized it for parts. He has a lot of alien tech. I learned a lot from it."
There's a little more poking around before he speaks again. "I have a Triceraton star cruiser too, but a crucial coupling blew, and I haven't been able to duplicate it. We just don't have the material." Though he's sort of hoping that either the Kraang tech or Stitch has access to something that might work.
He checks his watch as DonnieBoy asks about the Kraang stuff to take back. Yeah, it was about that time. "It is about that time. Thanks, I'd love one of the exosuits. A banged up one is more than fine." He just wants to reverse engineer it.

Re: D&D ; Double the Fun.
A laugh and a sheepish on, "not too far to be honest it's just too big and bulky, but it's primary goal was for battle and we have used it on the SuperMonsterShredder... which by admission and Mikeys much embellished story was Lee's fault for a change." that part in amusement. " then the battle against kraang a couple of times. As long as Haili seems happy enough in her form. I worry with MwtalHead but he had displayed neither an interest in doing anything to TurtleMech or any other machine... Might have a coupling in the pile - we can put things in the pockets to retrieve on the other side." staying back and letting Don explore whilst he chooses the exosuit in better condition and less raided as yet by his own hands.
Thoroughly relishing just chattering and that he didn't have to automatically seek to explain or use softer 'english' as his brothers put it.
A grin and nod taking off his belt so they could make a few trips down into the store room to place some parts, =#9932CC] " ah the coding was simple especially as I did none of the intellectual work for it really, well okay half? I copied and just modified the base line for avatar motion and weaponry. Though yeah I got a copy of that on a usb. And the blueprints for the blimp if you'd like, hahaha maybe I should borrow from our Bishop too a bit, that's awesome... Going down into the belt feels a bit weird the first time as you step onto the little steps you see it will expand to match you and its like entering a small cellar room... " demonstrating stepping down and placing the kraang body at the bottom to the side. Maybe procrastinating just a bit so they could geek out just that much longer.

Re: D&D ; Double the Fun.
Don chuckled. Yeah, he could imagine that the giant mech didn't get a whole lot of street time.
It was still wicked cool!
And maybe sliiiightly amused that the fact that the battle with the Super Monster Shredder was Lee's fault. Yeah... sounds about right. Something like that would be Leo's fault in his family too.
Don looked toward the pile, and took the words as an invitation to search. He didn't look long, but there was one item that looked like it miiiiight at least have potential. It's definitely Kraang tech. "This might work. Are you sure?" He feels a little bad raiding DonnieBoy's parts, though he's happy to share in return when they get back to his lair.
Don is sort of staring at the whole... storage room in the belt thing. Sure, he knew that they were enchanted pockets. It was entirely a different thing to see DonnieBoy actually go inside them...
And Don nods at the information regarding the coding. He's still curious about it, and would appreciated a USB of it! "That'd be great, thanks." And the blimp blueprint.
He does follow down into the pockets, bringing the coupling (assuming it's okay!) with him. And he's glad he wasn't carrying more, because that was definitely weird, and it made him a little dizzy at first. Though he's ninja, and did recover very quickly.

Re: D&D ; Double the Fun.
The tall alien waves away this lair, and then they are back in their dimension and she keeps her tail about Raph, squeezing him - chuckling at Shini and Karai over there by the tv. She could scent the Don's had passed this way, " should we check in on the Dons and see if there okay? or you or I and the other put our munchkin to bed?'

Raph grunted as he considered Mona's question. He would like to put Chompy to bed, yes, but...
"I know Lee texted them awhile ago trying to get them back. Donnies are probably geeking out somewhere and ignoring the phone. Wanna start getting Chompy into bed, and I'll be there in a minute after I chase 'em off?"

Re: D&D ; Double the Fun.
DonnieBoy saves telling the whole story about the SuperMonsterShredder for " I'll let Mikey tell you the full story of the SuperMonsterShredder someday, he loves recounting it, especially the first bit where somehow he managed to actually sneak up o our older brother and spook him so much he nearly fell off a rooftop." Maybe a slight chuckle in his tone, and a wave of the hand, " whatever you want from the pile man, have at it." reassuringly and gleefully clearly just happy to have a friend he can actually exchange such things with and share.
He lets Don explore this pocket, " we each got two storage spaces in our belts. I am not sure yet of the science behind magic and well I don't have a whole lot of faith I will work it out but it will be fun to try and well makes transporting things like this and anything else we might need in a pinch around much easier. When I don't have time to come down into this place I just think or say out loud what I am looking for and it will come to my hand."He explains grinning and moving over to the shelves here, it resembles an underground bunker or shelter storage, and had earthen sort of shelves, he selects a couple of USBs and shows them to Don. " the one with the Autobot robot symbol here has TurtleMech's specs and code on it, the one with the whoopie cushion has the blimp info." holding them out to Don.
~
Karai and Shen wave over to them. Mona forgoes returning the gesture as she takes Chompy into her arms and smiles rubbing the little shell, the wee guy was all tucked up under his shell. Her tail brings Raph closer and she soft growls and touches snout to his briefly. " will wait eagerly for you my warrior." and then letting go to sloooowly make her way to their room.

Raph gave Mona a brief nose kiss just before she walked away. Oh... better hurry getting the Donnies! Because he would definitely rather go with her!
He headed into DonnieBoy's lab space, and finding no one there, he continued onto the garage. Raph had been about to give up when he had found DonnieBoy's belt on the ground. He rolled his eyes a bit and poked his head into the pocket.
"Yo, geeks. You two might want to consider getting your shells back over to the other lair. They're getting the kids ready for bed."

Re: D&D ; Double the Fun.
Don chuckled and nodded. He would wait for Mikey's recount of the story. Sounds like it would be worth the wait.
And he grins. "Thanks! Hopefully it works." Definitely excited to get to the... well, he liked to refer to it as the hanger, but it was really an abandoned warehouse that he converted, sometime soon and try it!
"Yeah, I can certainly see how these would be useful." Definitely some really cool pockets. He sort of wants some! But settles for admiring them.
Until Raph stuck his head into the pocket. Don sort of makes a point not to respond. This Raph is more brusque than his own. Though Raphie has his moments. Still, something about this Raph rubs him the wrong way. Though he does his best not to react. Just nod, it is time to get going.
"Yeah, I should probably get back for that." It is their first night in their own room.

Re: D&D ; Double the Fun.
DonnieBoy grins, " hah and even if not you are a Donatello - we'll find a way to make it work." and not giving away if Don reaches out to feel, yep the walls will really feel like actual cool damp earth. And actually, sort of smell like it too. " suppose if you guys wanted your own pockets spots might be able to get Shini or Haley to look into something for yous." idea! idea! and turning when he hears Raph's voice, noting Don's sort of careful standoffish reaction but heck most were standoffish to Raph at first.
Well no, it was rough and ready between Raph and Mona at first, and violent between Raph and Casey. Karai was antagonistic and Shini more teasing. So Don wasn't the first to be sort of this way with Raph. He waves a bit, " okay Raph, thanks, we're heading back now - I'm sure Leo or I will fill you in if there is any sort of developments." because Raph was pseudo Leader when Lee was down and out or stays back to handle something. Even so, they ran things about the latest kraang mess by each other to just be in the loop and ready for anything. And he knew Mona and Raph probably returned to put Chompy to bed. Or attempt making hybrids tonight.
He'll wait until Raph heads up and reassure his counterpart its cool as their heading up and out and well maybe he is a little curious to see how clucky his April had become in the span of the couple of hours they have had away from everyone. " dawwww big night for them."

Re: D&D ; Double the Fun.
Don chuckled. "Sometimes it just takes longer than others."
He had been checking out the walls, and the feel and smells of the storage area, it was incredible. "The Ninja Tribunal was able to fold space. I never learned how they did it, but they definitely were able to pull some things out of thin air." He didn't really know how they had managed that, but... he definitely wants to know how they did it now!
He'd love to get his hands on some of those books again. And... sort of wonders if the Ancient One would help him with that. He was part of the Tribunal now, but... well... Don is certain that their sort of great-grandfather has a bit of a rebellious streak in him.
"Uh huh, yup. So... get goin'!" Raph commented as he pulled his head back out of the pocket. He waved slightly at Karai and Shini as he passed through and followed Mona back to their room. Because Donnie is actually right on both counts. They did return to put Chompy to bed... Then go about trying to make more little hybrids!
Don put down the coupling and sort of brushed his hands together, leaving his curiosity about the space for another time.
"Yeah, and he's right, I should hurry back." He will follow DonnieBoy out of the pocket because he's sure the exit will be just as disorienting as the entrance was. Then hopefully straight off to the hall of dimensional doors without getting distracted again!

Re: D&D ; Double the Fun.
DonnieBoy chuckles and would have joined in with the ladies in the lounge area in making flirty and bwady sort of wolf whistles and wooo hoooos and teasing blown kisses after Raph as he goes by, waving at them. Though he figured, rightly so there was a Mona snout smooch on the other end so Raph wouldn't care.
And he DonnieBoy will lead the way up out of his pocket offering a hand to Don once at the top of the stairwell, " maybe the tribunal had pockets similar to these, sort of sounds like it, will be fascinating if there are books on it. And the disorientation I think is the residual effects of the magic used to create these pockets, For Lee it never really fades, he prefers to just reach into his pockets. Mike and I are used to ours and it bothers us no more, not sure about Raph he plays that close to his plastron." And once their both up and out he uses his staff to swipe the belt off the floor and slide down the wood to his hands where he could slip it back on and then slip the staff into its holder on his shell and ta daaaa is ready!
" alright lets go so you can go put those adorable tots to bed. An important night for them!" leading the way out of his lab from there back towards the portal beyond the turnstiles waving at the pretty young women - they wave to him and Don eagerly.

Re: D&D ; Double the Fun.
Raph owned it as the girls wolf whistles and teasing. He struck a pose as he hurried through after Mona. Because, heck yeah!
~~
"The end result was at least similar." Though Don has absolutely no idea how either was created. Though the Tribunal he knows uses chi, and he sort of gets the impression that isn't exactly Shinigami's thing. Though he could be wrong. "Don't really blame him." It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't exactly a pleasant feeling in the pockets either. Though Don had a feeling he would just tolerate it like his counterpart did to make sure things were in order. He's been in worse places.
Don gives his counterpart a golf clap at the sort of ta-da moment. He's amused.
As they pass the girls, Don calls back to them, "It was nice to meet you," as they hurry through then past the turnstiles, heading for home!
