Allora Swamp Lands .

"I like to think it's the difference between people and a person. Individual interactions are small and have the option of going either way. The problem is in large numbers fear and hatred seem to be compounded." Hmm... that sounds like Leo. He laughs softly, thinking of his brother. "We met April alone in the sewer. Most of our human interactions that have gone badly were with groups. Casey was approached alone. There have been a few others over time too."

There is still pharmacy going on in the other Donatello's lap, and he continues to have an observer. And still no questions are asked. At this point it's pretty obvious what's happening anyway. Another glance at his watch tells him another ten minutes have passed, and he takes another sip of the electrolyte solution. And assuming even some of what the other turtle was mixing had been appropriately labeled to distinguish one white powder from another, he has a fair idea of what has gone into it anyway.

He then readjusted Liam and nodded to his counterpart. "Yeah... it was 'interesting' carrying him through the swamp with Leonardo when we first arrived.  He slept through a surprising amount of movement and noise too..."

" mmmmm it's been our experience too, like the officer's that had Mikey and Raph at gun point, their fear seemed to feed of each others and get worse, where as April alone, she fainted but once she came around the fear was less... and Casey well - he thought we were aliens at first but it soothed over fairly quickly." a tad amused.
He looks up to catch don watching him and smiles, " Everything is hospital grade stuff, I kept the dosage low one all encase there is the chance it doesn't work on bugs here, and I don' want it upsetting you further, but the powders I put in were the anti medicational stuff, a little cornflour to make it syrupy and the creamer. So it wont keep for ever, long enough for you to take it sparingly over the next day or two and hopefully either kill or weaken whatever bug you picked up enough for your mutagen in your system to fire up your immunity and take the rest of it out.' making sure he showed don the vials and labels.

Then double checking the mix again much more satisfied with the smooth look. " well it's ready, question is do you feel up to taking some or should I keep it cooled in the pack for a bit longer? I would prefer it with food, crackers will do if you are not up to much else... pretty sure that Mikey would have crackers in his belt somewhere." leaving that hanging if the Don wanted to try some crackers he'll go a looking if not he'd let him try some medicine without chuckling at the liquid child comment, " one would think he was born boneless. Must have been tricky the first time to hold him."

Don nodded at the information and took a moment to consider his options. While he wasn't excited about eating anything, he was choosing to trust his counterpart. Clearly this guy had jumped into the role of team doctor in a way that Don himself had taken steps to avoid.

"I hate to wake Michelangelo, but I could try some crackers..." He finally decided.

He chuckled softly. "I don't disagree. And the first time was definitely a learning experience. Luckily when he was awake, he knew what to do. That helped when he fell asleep later."

" Well if we can avoid waking the Mikey I'd take that route, but I am sure diving into those pockets without a guide would be dangerous as going into a Mikey room without a gas mask."

Jokes!

But half not.

Mikey did grow unusual mould cultures quiet by accident in his room.

Smiling and rubbing the small head of the little turtle and chuckling, " So where ever he is from have held him then,." smiling at the little guy and Don before finally giving Don the medicine indicates he'll fetch something dry for his other self to eat standing and moving back to pull the felt cover and sniggering pulling the cover back further so Don could see. " I think we might be saving Inaba and Leo from the snuggle monster..." so amused, letting Don see Mikey's constrictor grip on the other two.

Don laughs softly. Because yes... he is equally sure of that.

"I still say tea tree would be a good, antimicrobial alternative to sandalwood."

And the next words are spoken in a much darker tone. "Yes, carried off to draw blood, take skin samples and electrocute him for protecting his brothers."

And... ugh... he needs to calm down. Getting riled up like that makes him feel worse. He swallows hard, trying to get the nausea back under control. He tried not to groan, but he's pretty sure he failed to keep it all hidden. He looks over at the laugh and comment about the snuggle monster. The only reason he doesn't laugh is because he's busy. But he does smile at the sight.

Donatello's amusement dies for a moment, he gazes at Don and the little boy - if you had to describe what went on it would be a sudden thunder cloud, meaning black heavy skies and eyes white with a fury he rarely felt, because he was not Raph, and he was not a territorial Leo either.

" When we finish this adventure he and his brothers are never ever going home. I'd love to gather them up and take them home with my brothers and myself, I know Splinter wants to be grandfather one day but I'd be just as happy if they find home with your brothers, or Mikey's or Leo's..." he promises. Whatever needed the little guys would not go back to their terrible life.

Then also watching Don, " Don't fight it if you gotta puke up the electrolyts solution, that I can make more of easier than the medicine." he sooths, best do it now if he had to before attempting medication.

Reaching down to loosen Mikey's grip on Leo and Inaba - his arm and leg before squeezing the turtles shoulder lightly, " Mike, Miiikey... wake up..." lightly, whispering trying not to disturb the other two, though a Leo would be disturbed by the lightest things usually.

Mikey came loose reluctantly.

And rather sat up from sleep with a half shaken gasp of " Donnie! No! Bad Don! no biting!" shivering and blinking at first not quiet back to the present and what was going on for some moments.

But it was rushing back and he was losing the sleep stupor standing up snake fast, " what is it? everything okay?!" in a rushed whisper.

And Don recognizes that thundercloud look. He's pretty sure he's had the same one over the past few days. The promise is decidedly familiar too. Though if he's honest with himself, he won't be happy if Liam goes to any of the other worlds.  He has bonded with the child, and seen those memories. He doesn't comment on the matter though. He would allow Liam to go, but... he couldn't be happy about it. Liam's memories racing through his head again.

He then does throw up the electrolyte solution over the side of the cart. It's a trick with Liam in his arms. And an awful lot of work for the two or three sips worth of fluid. Dammit! He hates throwing up it always makes him... yup there it is. He's shaking again. DammitDammitDammit! He's uncomfortable holding Liam like this, he's afraid he's going to drop him. The child is still liquid and Don is barely able to keep him positioned. He looks at the open space in the cart. It's tempting, but he doesn't trust himself to move Liam.

And he utters a word he tries to avoid using in this manner, "help."

Wow! That was random! But he was awake and timing couldn't have been better. Though Donatello was seriously going to investigate the dream.

But not now, "yes here," he simply lifts the Mikey over the small step up from cage to cart and then reaches over a big hand sliding under the boys head the other arm slipping under him to shell and this held securely he slips liquid sleeping toddler from Don's shakey grip and into Mikey's arms in such a way the orange clad turtle would be forced to sit whilst he had him.

Whilst Donatello moved to support his counterpart, vomiting was never fun. " don't fight it Don, if you gotta vomit more or pass out... might be a necessary step for whatever this is." voice matter O fact not gentle or soothing as he knew as a fellow Don being a patient sucked! And facts were always more welcomed than comforts.

Except Master Splinter comforts of course.

"whoa!" Mikey gasps manhandled but in Don fashion it was not overtly rough and suddenly he found himself seated on rolled unused felts shell resting back against the cage and cart edge and liquid like baby turtle in his arms, he watches worried from here the two Don's.

Child for the moment snug in arms.

Don's distress disturbed Liam from sleep, he was still liquid state and frowned a little up at Mikey but wasn't quiet awake enough to put much effort into any sort of protest, though he had been alarmed by Don's shaking and had a few little sniffles.

There's nothing left to throw up! Just that horrible yellow bile of an already empty system. This fact has not stopped his body from trying however, and once Liam has been removed from his care, he follows directions and allows it to happen. He doesn't pass out, though it would almost be welcome at this point.

When it finally, FINALLY passes, he spits out the remaining yellow goo and allows himself to slump into his counterpart's grip. Not that he had a whole lot of choice in the matter, his energy was spent. He groans softly, silently grateful it wasn't a whimper, and concentrates on breathing. It takes a surprising amount of effort. He's not a whole lot more solid than Liam at this point. At least not for a moment until he can regain some control of his person

As he slowly regains control of himself, there's that weird simultaneously overheated and freezing feeling that is never a good sign, he's probably burning up. Everything hurts, and he's not sure if it's illness, exertion or his body literally eating itself after this long without proper nutrition. Possibly all three at this point. Don decides he has officially crossed the line from feeling like garbage to feeling like excrement. That happened fast... He'd felt okay just a little while ago! This sucked! And he's still shaking! Well... he supposes this is what he gets for getting riled up then allowing himself to vomit.

He hopes this is rock bottom.

And even with the goggles telling him what he could already feel and smell and see Donatello helped ease Don away from sitting up the front as they had been and a little more comfortably against the cage.

Concern all over his face.

This Don was not as hefty as any of his brothers and he'd been too long without proper drink and food...

And he wasn't gonna have much luck keeping either of them in him if he just threw them up...

He chews his lip for a moment.

Right... He pulls his tech pack off, moving the just finished medicine to the thin cooler part that was at the longest edge of his shell. It wouldn't keep for longer than a couple of days in there assuming they got sun again and his pack recharged. Still depending on how Don goes he still might need it. " I am not sure what else to do for you at this point Don, you symptoms all seem consistent with either a viral or bacterial infection but I doubt now you could comfortable have the medicine and keep it down to do any good, even if it did work on this worlds nasties... would you consent to me giving you a drip line instead to replenish a tiny amount of your fluids and give some nutrients? Not enough to replace what you must need by now by drinking and eating but enough for the moment. Then I think... I know you didn't like the option but I think we might want to at least talk to local of some type to get an idea of what this is and how to help?" He wanted clear consent now encase Don's condition deteriorated further and he was incapable of giving it. He had a small amount of tubing and catheter needles he could use, and a baggy that he could top up himself with made solutions on the way but he wasn't going to force it upon his counterpart.


He puts away the tiny vials too. sealing them up in the little places of the tech pack that ran around his shell lower edge and up the left side, now he turns to the pockets and hide away, running around the top and left side in the middle was the solar panelling that charged everything.

Uuuuuugh...

Don could feel himself being moved, and he did not resist it. Nor did he help particularly, though the attempt was there.

He could hear his counterpart talking at him, but making sense of the words was difficult between the shaking and fevered haze. Finally he just gave up and nodded. He'd gotten enough of a gist to at least answer a question.

"Trust you."

And that... that right there was exactly why he didn't want to be the doctor of his team. He didn't want to be the one in whom his brothers had to place that sort of trust...

Almost as the words left his mouth, he pushed himself half over the edge of the cart again, and once again, brought up nothing but bile. This time he did whimper when it passed. Passing out now would be nice. No? Of course not. No such luck. He's pretty sure he's never been quite this annoyed about being conscious. Moving isn't worth it... he just stays where he is.

Mikey snugs Liam who was looking worried and not sleeping no more, " should I wake the others?" to Donatello, worried.

He had seen this getting worse and worse and he couldn't help. Sure if it had been another parasitic wasp he could still recall the exact way to prepare a serum to save infected. But.

But.

This was definitely not that.

Donatello smiled, " I'll do my best to keep that trust then Don. Okay Mikey no not yet, lets get Don comfortable first and Liam." He shoos the orange clad turtle from the rolled pelts and unrolls them, the thickest furry one he could find he places down fur side to the cart and leaves a couple rolled - the thicker ones that made fat sleeping bag sized rolls and then moves Don, carefully, seating him in a way if he needed to puke more he could right over the edge of the cart without moving this time, this time the fatter rolls of felts behind the sicker Don's shell and head.

then he pouts a little, " right Mikey you are to put one pelt on Don, the lighter one he is hot, it's just to keep the damp off. And then reroll the others and put them away. And not wake the others yet I am working and need the space."

And he was working now carefully unrolling a little medical tubing and measuring to a pint on the cage above Don with enough give for the counterpart to move and get comfy or lean out over the cart edge. But not enough to he hoped get caught on anything. Then he was fitting the right sized catheter, feeling Don's skin, too warm! judging what sized needle he would need. Not as big or strong to get through say Raph's hide but bigger than any he would have needed for say April.

He is busy prepping and getting the little baggy of saline out for Don, if he needed more well... Donatello was going to have to make it himself.

" Don't fight it Don if you need to rest do so, Liam will be safe." reassuring him. Though he rathered the Don remained conscious and try to tell him how he is doing but rest was probably the best options for him.

Liam watched, half asleep but he sensed something as wrong, his eyes watching Don and one hand in his mouth sucking on the fingers the other gripping Mikey's plastron edge. His knee holding onto Mikey too tightly.

Don is not resisting, and helps just enough that he's not quite liquid as they move him around. He leans into the cushions and groans softly as the shifting continues. He can't tell anymore if he's shaking or shivering. And it probably doesn't really matter. Neither are good. Part of him is afraid to fall asleep... but it's so tempting.

For the most part, he watches Donatello work, but his eyes are just barely open.  Every so often, he looks over at Michelangelo and Liam. He is probably scaring the little guy right now... but he can't help it. He's losing the battle to stay awake.

Mikey churrs and tucks the little turtle into his side for the moment an arm around him and nuzzling the small head from time to time, following Donatello's instructions feeling each felt before he decided upon the lighter one and shook it out before placing it over Don carefully, " being sick sucks man I hope we can make you feel better." He says to the looking barely there sickly turtle.

He didn't like seeing Donnie ill. Even not his own Donnie.

His big blue eyes and Liams both watching Don and Donatello. Staying out of the bigger turtles way as he works.

Even if he knows they could take a little rougher handling than humans, he had hands on experience with the latter, and much with his brothers Donatello was still as careful as he could be with Don, and tried not to move him about after settling against the makeshift cushions.

And it was with regret at the moment all he could do for his counterpart was make sure he had the fluid on drip. If he'd have his way he'd have fresh bags ready to go and a better idea what kind of pathogen he was dealing with. But as it was he instead just tried to keep the damp off Don, monitor his temp and give him this single baggy of fluid, that he could top up but he'd prefer not to.

It could after all put the compromised turtle at risk for further infections, he'd love to just dope him up with mutagen and let it kill and revive and heal from cells out the Don, but their mutagens might not be compatible.

So as he was hands tied to just monitoring for the moment as the drip began the bag hanging off the cage above the Don. And reassure the Mikey and Liam with rubs to the head.

" wake Leo and Inaba. Leo will have to make this beast move faster and Inaba is gonna have to get the map out we need a village and or township or somewhere who might have a half way decent healer or as she suggested a Naiad." time had come to admit his own short comings and try to find someone with better knowledge.

Liam sniffled, Mikey's efforts to sooth his ruffled and uneasy nerves somewhat working, he could reach and touch Don from Mikey's arms as the pelt is put in place, and whimper a little worried, looking at the big Donatello with Mikey, instinctively knowing the big guy was trying to help.

Nodding and snugging the little turtle shuuushing him and churring hoping he'd go back to sleep and stop sniffling cause it just made Mikey wanna sit on his tail and do nothing but snug the little guy!

He steps around Donatello and Don carefully reaching down with his free hand and shaking Inaba's shoulder then Leo's, " hey guys... guys... come on hop up - we need to move faster..." not bothering to keep voice low this time as he was sure it wouldn't disturb the groggy looking Don and well the others needed to be awake. Yet hopefully wouldn't upset the little fellow too much.

He was a Leo so the shake to the shoulder did wake him immediately and he sat up - with the Bunny girl and blinked at Mikey's worried face. Nodding, a tad groggy himself but he understood he thought and stood to climb out of the cage careful not to toss Inaba off him just let her slid off and sit comfortably hopefully awake too.

He noted the Dons and immediately asked Donatello, " What do you need me to do?" anything for his surrogate brothers for this adventure.

Liam was tired, but at that point that he wasn't able to sleep again yet and pouting hugely, worried, Mikey's churring and attentions though keeping him from having a toddler meltdown.

For now.

Inaba only stirred fully when Leo sat up - her ears had been up half listening before then, now she rubs her eyes and notes the condition don was in immediately moving to his side and touching him lightly, motherly on the forehead glancing at Donatello, " we both out of our depths here huh?' softly, worried.

Moving to find the map and unroll it enough to see the swamp lands....

" don't fight it Don, if you must, rest..." Donatello tries to sooth his counterpart, glancing over as Leo and Inaba spoke and smiled at them, hopefully encouragingly, " yes, Leo make Jersey move, it may tire her out but we must make better headway."

It felt weird assuming even a sort of leading role among these surrogate brothers he found himself in, and not one that was his natural role as second beta. But he did it anyways. " Inaba - ah good you have the map we need a the closest largest township smaller ones may have nothing better than witch doctors, we need someone who may know what their doing," He shifts to lean over her shoulders and eyes the swamp part of the map, frustrated, " got anything more detailed for this region?"

That done and for the moment his tasks complete Mikey moves closer to keep an eye on Don as Donatello, Inaba and Leo took over doing things.

He shifts the restless sniffly boy in his arms so he laid across them plastron down and here he could let the little fellows hand and foot brush Don's skin, contact would probably help the both of them feel a little more - well comforted at least - the orange banded turtle hoped and get the little guy to go back to dream land and maybe help Don to rest as advised.

Nodding Leo hurried tot he front and hoped the gap to the cow like things back and ... wasn't sure how to make her goe... as it runed it smacking her rump only made her jog... what got her loping along under him with a reluctant below and grunting was

weirdly enough Leo making all sorts of giddy up sounds until he found " yip yip!" the water sloshed and splashed as she puffed and bellowed and gathered a sort of thundering loping pace dragging the cart faster.

Don groans softly under Inaba's touch. He dry heaves again, but there's not even the bile coming up this time. He's not really awake, but he's not really asleep either. He's sort of stuck in between. He looks up at Donatello as he speaks. He can tell there are words. And they probably should make sense.

As Liam's hand brushes his arm, Don relaxes and finally falls asleep.

Liam felt his eyes droop - the position reminding him of times spent draped over his brothers in sleep and he yawns hand and foot on the Don his eyes watching him and still not understanding what was going on or why he was drifting off.

Melt down averted!

Inaba huffs a little, " no sadly, but hey I know that we have to cross water ways to reach the beginnings of savanah lands and there is a large lord ship here... the Reinigen people are here... rats... but they do know the swamp and your right unlike the smaller hamlets and towns and villages they may have a citadel trained healer here..." she agrees with Donatello. " if we keep this pace it could be a day still before we get there..."

Donatello doesn't like guessing but he nods and thanks Inaba. " Okay oaky well, could you move up front and keep Jersey going with Leo and give directions? Mikey and I will tend to Liam and Don-" smiling a little at the small boy and Don, the contact did seem to ease them both so he elbows Mikey to bring them closer, he himself fixes his head gear so one eye was now constantly getting feed back on Don whilst the other and his hands got busy searching.

Then making, if he was to make a sort of saline solution to keep Don hydrated and at least have some nutrients he needed to find a pot to boil the swamp water, something to skim it with to remove ickies as best he could and other things.

.... he leaves Mikey to watch over Don and Liam going thourgh the gear and Inaba's basket again...

Mikey settles himself to stay here holding the little guy as he goes back to sleep, moving closer so the boy's weight and the feeling of his little breaths would half be one Don's arm and his own arms, noting it helped Don finally let go and let his sick self rest.

Liam was going to chirp worried, squirm out of Mikey's arms and snuggle on the Don... but he was being held firmly and he was drifting back off to sleep anyways.

Don groaned softly and shifted slightly in his sleep. He's shivering as he leans a little more into Michelangelo. It's an unconscious attempt to regulate his body temperature. Or at least remind his body what it's supposed to be like. Michelangelo and Liam feel cool and comforting rather than the disorienting simultaneous overheated and freezing sensation of the fever.

Inaba came back to check on Don and Mikey worry etched all over her face she leans past to lightly rub her twitchy little nose on Don's forehead feeling the heat and making a soft mewling sound of disquiet at it. " lets hurry... he's feeling pretty bad... Leo you and I when we reach the Reinigen Fort will slip ahead and make entreaties... in the state the world is in the rats may be hauling up in there..." she rubs Mikey's shoulder with a paw and smiles at Donatello moving to talk to Leo up front.

Leo glades at the bunny and back at Don and Mikey and Donatello. "think we'll have trouble getting him care?" he wonders out loud keeping Jersey going at her full loping pace hoping the cart with the way it rattled and sloshed and creaked was not going to fall apart.

He emptied the cage of everything and then directed Mikey to replace it as Don's support, and as Don was currently seeking the contact he felt it was a good move, then once he was comfortable Don braced himself and shoved the cage, shoved and shoved and finally it fell off the back. Right int he middle of the track and there was nothing he was going to be able to do about that now.

But it meant a little less weight for the burden animal to pull through the thick mucky waters covering the track, especially as he could see, smell and feel the weather was growing moist again rain was coming.

He smiles at Inaba and Leo, he felt fine with such an course of action it was after all not fair of them to simply crash their way in and demand Don be seen to though he so would if he had to.

Liam was liquid again, well partials, though during the shifting about he was lain across the lower part of Don's plastron, the felt moved over the bigger turtles legs, and he was spread, small and cool because he had little ability to regulate his own temperature at the moment, so Donatello placed him there to be kept warm by the feverish Don, but also cool him off a little, and also it had not been missed by the keen eyed -

when he had his glasses on -

turtle the fact both of them preferred the contact. It let Liam become liquid again and Don it seemed to the bigger turtle just a tiny bit less restless.

Mikey moved to wherever Donatello wanted him.

Like he would his own brothers he was intent to just sit and keep watch over the sickly turtle. Good luck moving him now! and wasn't objecting to being a back rest as the cage was removed, the carts speed lifted up just a little.

He churred for Don and Liam watching the scenery pass them by and could sense rain was inevitable and imminent so he pulls one of the pelts up - turning the leathered oiled side upwards to tent a little over Liam and Don. As best he could cause Don didn't need a stuff hot covering and it was mostly to keep Liam from becoming sick too.

Don barely noticed when the cage was tossed off the cart. He weakly struggled against being moved until Liam was back in contact. Once the tiny turtle was sprawled across him, Don settled down and rested once more.  Again he curled into  Michelangelo's side.  Michelangelo's churring receives a broken one - an occasional partial sound - in response. The other half of the soft noise is lost to sleep and illness.

Donatello checks on the three and smiles, he was going through the cart and removing a few more things that would lighten the load just that bit more, the moving past the sickly turtle and his watcher patting Mikey's head and the small turtle. " Keep watch on them both Mikey, and churr more. I think... don't know for sure but it's kind like a cats pur has ways to alleviate a bit of stress and anxiety and just generally promoted healing..." moving past to Jersey and instead of hoping over like Inaba and Leo he reaches pulling saddle bags off her to lighten that of her load too. Don's efforts had made her more comfortable. Now everything was maybe only kilos lighter but lighter.

" You can count on me." replying both to Donatello watching him move about, and to Don and Liam, checking the pair again. Liam was finally sleeping deep, his little mouth hanging open and fingers and legs all floppy. And now the little turle was there Don seemed more settled, even snuggling and Mikey was only to happy to reciprocate cause he was a Mikey and pretty sure most fellow Mikey's were affectionate kind of guys.

" Don't worry Don, we'll find someone to help and do whatever needs doing to get it for you." he promises though his soft churring.

It was a bit lighter and the Jersey appreciated it blowing and her nostrils and eyes wide, Leo keeps them moving fast, keeping her pace going. glancing behind him to the Don and boy.

They little guy was gonna be unhappy whilst Don was down, but they would keep him busy.... " how far Inaba?" giving her the rope reigns to steer.

Inaba pouts a little, " At this pace a day and half if we push it." she admits wishing she had a better answer for them all. And knew it meant a rather sleepless time watching Don closely and keeping what would be a sad little guy occupied so he was fretting about his big friend.

But they would do what they needed and it would also mean cold quick meals on the go.

He was so deeply relaxed and asleep his chirps and churrs where soft and like Don's broken... only cause of soft tiny snores between them.

Don alternated between sleeping soundly and restlessly. It is during one of these restless periods that he opens his eyes again, and when he does he's far too hot, which leaves him disoriented and frightened and unsure whether he's awake or dreaming. He jerks backward in reflex, and slams into something solid. That hurt! Everything hurts... he groans softly. It's so cold... or is he hot... he can't tell. Maybe both? What's going on? Where is he?

Donatello is getting anxious.

He growls a little and catches Don though he noted Michelangelo had braced himself for the impact of shell to plastron, still the sensation would have winded him. And Donatello feels the warm of his fellow Don.

This wouldn't do...

He scoops Liam off him and hands him to Mikey. " Enough of this, we're moving too slow even at this faster pace, this fever needs dealing with and fast... Inaba if I stay on this track we are on it's visible by the gap in the trees at least and patches where the water hasn't risen at least, if I stay on it will I be able to see this Reinigen place from it?"

He asks her when she nods and explains what he is looking for he moves back to Don and Mikey - to Mikey, " Alright alright Mikey you keep these two safe. I am taking Donnie ahead, I will travel faster on foot. Now I understand why Leo insist we practice carrying each other through the city on shell back." He grunts a little as he grabs Don's arm and drags him across his shoulders and shell.

This was going to upset little Liam for a while but the kid would be distracted by Leo and Mikey he trusted and mothered by Inaba. He waits no longer than it taks to make sure he had a firm hold on Don's arm an leg to keep him in place, guy was no where as heavy as Raph or Mikey!
And then he was off, leaping off the cart to not put all this weight on the Jersey and setting off at a steady fast jog, and indeed he was moving faster than the burden beast with no cart to drag.

He wouldn't stop to fight anything this time just run for it or plow through things. And would play up to Genio Innocuo thing to get himself in there to get Donnie help. Surely between himself and a healer they can get him better or at least recovering when the others caught up.

Leo wanted to object.

It was the Leo in him, he would prefer them to be together to stay close and have each others shells.

But one of them was down and had rapidly gotten worse in the span of the evening.

So he bit his lip and nodded, keeping Jersey on track and at her speed, it was going to be an unhappy time for the little turtle, he had been happy to play in the mud only cause he could see Don when he looked around.

But they would make do.

" goood luck Donnies - both of you!" He yells after the retreating shells ahead. That would be an uncomfortable ride for Don - but admittedly Donatello was fast on foot and Leo had to think in great physical fitness being a ninja. So he watched and worried until they rounded a bend out of his sight.

And then just worried.

The big Donatello has a startled and half delirious ninja on his back who doesn't know what's going on and is desperate to free himself. The ill turtle wants down! Away from... whatever has trapped him! There's intent behind the movements, but Don is being held securely enough and is weak enough at the moment that he's probably not succeeding in anything other than wasting energy. There's one last attempt to throw himself to Donatello's side that has a little more strength behind it than the previous movements.
