Allora Swamp Lands .

Well, to Leo it sounded harmless.


But, he was hesitant. And like don missed his own Donatello in that moment greatly, but he was comforted by the presence of this bigger one. He grins when Don explains their actual turtles not these of this creatures world. " sorry I get the sense you would really really love to meet them."apologetic but not sure why and hearing Don explain where he came from Leo perks up, " my Don... when were where with another Don, the tall skinny one, said my Earth was called Eighties Earth and his own Twelfth Earth. Saying the names are indicative of the many multitudes of possible Earths in interdimensional terms... and I forget the rest cause it was about frequencies and vibrations and quantum's and stuff and that's a bit beyond me."


Completely sheepish. And to the bunny cause she seemed eager to help. " that... sounds great... but if its alright I might not have some yet, um maybe you can then Don?" just encase it was poison of some sort she would object to it no doubt. " we are in uncertain times here in your home so we should set a watch. And no offense we don't really know you yet so one of us, me on watch first."



He was not a serious Leo. Not as serious as the one from twelfth earth and he assumed not as this don's brother but he was a Leo and his instinct was to guard his for the moment surrogate brothers, but also the other and not reject possible help.

Inaba took no offence, she did sigh a little in disappointment, nodding to at all Don said and a tad lost at both his and Leo's explanation about where they are actually from. Nodding, " yes would like to have meet some, meeting them is supposedly great luck, or sign of better times, and they reportedly had great age and wisdom. So seeing two and... even more lucky and would have been extremely gifted, a child one."


She had the small pot nestled in the coals and was making up the potion, a small grin, she would like to respond she didn't know them either and that she couldn't risk it.But someone had to start trusting the other so she nods, "I'll have some first then. then if you like Don, you and the boy. Can't have him becoming sick at all."


She felt in her basket for food. Sighing and sharing out dried vegetable and fruits in little leather pouch's "that's all the food I got, I can purchase more at the nest village but its quiet a hike. now reaching for rough wooden cups as she finishes the potion and pours it into four cups. The one she meant for Leo she set aside. It would be fine cool or hot. Another cup only half full for the boy she set aside too, placing the one she meant for Don a little fuller than hers of Leos as he was bigger than they, and took her own, swiggy it down in two gulps, feeling the tingle and warmth and the steam gush from her ears as it did it's job.


This was the reason it made a drinker drowsy, the warmth it gave off going down. She felt the slight ache of her left knee warm and ease and smiles warmly at her companions shifting to pull off her travel cloak that was over her pretty dress, " here for you Leo if you stay on watch. It gets cold in these lands at night. Don... you the boy and I should move further up into the rocks there to stay out of wind, keep him covered with the little blanket.and she had her fur coat of course and the fire so she should be warm. Not comfortably so maybe but warm. Offering Don his cup now. " it will help, you will sleep better with it, no coughing.

He was so far gone... he was drooling a little!

Don listens attentively we Leonardo explains what he knows of dimensions. He's relieved. "I was worried about how we would get you home. I'm glad you know where you belong."

He's smiling again as Leonardo continues talking. This guy talks a LOT.  And Don is still amused by it. Don is not surprised when the potion comes up again. He is resigned.

"I am sorry we're not the creatures you were hoping to see, Inaba, but we wish you good fortune, and hope you get to go home soon."

As Inaba prepares the potion, he is paying close attention to what goes in it, though he doesn't know most of the herbs of the world, there are a couple that he's pretty sure he recognizes from his own world. After Inaba drinks her potion, Don follows suit.

The potion warms his lungs, and a multitude of other, less urgent aches and pains that he had not acknowledged throughout the day. "Thank you, Inaba." He foregoes the food again, leaving it to the other travelers.

Don carefully lifts Liam back up to his shoulder, hoping to rouse the boy just enough to get a little of the liquid into him.

He then follows Inaba up into the rocks out of the wind. Between the potion, and the sheer exhaustion of the day, If Liam settles back down nicely, Don will be out like a light.

Liam roused just enough to sleepily gulp, gulp at the potion then some fresh water from a skin very very thirsty -

Free that he chirped and snuggled into Don back asleep within moments.

Leo smiles, goodnights his surrogate brothers for now, aching for his own, but hopeful now perhaps they had found travel companions of their own to guide them.

and eyes his potion, not until later, he shifts so his shell is to the fire and his eyes outward, sniffing the air and listening letting his eyes readjust after the glare of the fire to the shadows of the swamp lands, swearing now and then he saw fire light reflect in eyes, but unless something came closer he was resolved to not yell out.


Freeing one sword and laying it across his lap ready for action.

Inaba was one of the eldest in a burrow of siblings so she was practiced at helping Don wake the child enough to get him to swallow the potion. And then the boy just about drained a water skin so very thirsty.

Once he was done and snuggled back into Don, and the other turtle was on guard Inaba smiles at Don, with the blanket the little turtle would be very warm. Inaba moves around to Don's other side waiting for him to sleep, and ensuring she would not harm the child by keeping Don between them. And because the bigger turtle had no blanket she figured if she was close her furry body against his shell would provide a little shared warmth for him.

And perhaps for the first time in many nights she would sleep well too.

Don didn’t know how long he had slept for, and was somewhat startled to realize that he wasn’t alone. Liam wasn’t much of a surprise, but the rabbit behind him was!

It was still dark, and he was still tired, but it wasn’t the bone aching exhaustion of earlier. He carefully extricated himself from the mass and made his way over to Leonardo.

”Hey, Thank you for taking first watch. I can take over now. You can rest.

It wasn't movement the disturbed Liam. He'd all but buried himself against Don under the scaley blanket and the loss of contact made him wriggle.

His tail stiff and we'll all that water and potion he had drunk turning into another need! A soft half cry as he drowsily sits up.

Don looks over as Liam cries out. He frowns, glances at Leonardo then hurries over to the child. He whispers softly, hoping not to wake Inaba.

"I'm sorry, Buddy." Don picks up Liam. "Are you okay?" Hugs him close, keeping the blanket around him as best he can, and carries him back over to where Leonardo had been keeping watch.

Belatedly notices Liam's issue. "Ah... do you need to potty again? Know what, it is about that time." Don looks at Leonardo and nods toward the rocks, silently offering him the chance to rest again. And since Don's pretty sure he's about to demonstrate 'pee pee technique,' He doesn't really want an audience. Well, not any more of one.

Takes Liam over to a tree and sets him down and kneels in front of him. Don vaguely wonders how he and his brothers figured this out. Master Splinter has decidedly different equipment. He suspects there was at least a time that they all looked as ridiculous as Liam had earlier.

His cry stopped almost the moment Don scooped him up and ep pee pee imminent he snugs eyes still 'half' closed in that way he did the blue lids open but the nictating membrane still up and his eyes a white color cause of it.


Don's question made him nod mid half yawn and he murmurs a little yes, and maybe an attempted please.


On his feet his nictating eyelids slid away blue eyes now on Don and a smile in place. " ooou peee peee ooo?

Leo had sort of been half dozing off and started when don came to relieve him from his watch they were half way through the night so many hours left the faint glow of moon spotted beyond the thick clouds above told him that much.

It rained still, though a little lighter now.

He had been about to agree with that! some sleep would be good when the boy stirred. and it became obvious why, hah! though he had had the same thought and was about to offer to take the boy to demonstrate, but glad Don seemed all over it, "Surprised he hung on that long all that water he drank." chuckling amused and shifting his shell to give the two privacy the rabbit lady still down and out fast asleep for now.

Inaba's ear shot up when Don moved, and followed him but she didn't get up yet. It was nice having a relaxing sleep, the little boy moved then and cried and her ear turned towards him, following the sounds of Don collecting him.

Ah loo break, babies always needed loo breaks. She smiles and rests, if they needed a females helping paw she was sure either one would give her a shake seeing as they could hardly miss the long ear up and listening.

Yes, he noticed the satellite dish ear, but didn’t pay it much mind. Alright, here we go...

”Yes, everyone does, but you don’t need to do the full body shake thing, see?”

And he demonstrates for the child.

”Your turn.”

Chuckling and kinda glad Don was doing the initiating into loo training ... albeit natural loo training. He was suddenly struck by a thought moving towards the one ear stuck up bunny... blushing.

" Suddenly I have even more respect for Master Splinter how the heck did he manage to do that times four?! given he's a rat and we're all turtles... and well..." Probably not thoughts for bed times, around kids ear holes or ladies long floppy ears but he seriously couldn't stop the thoughts just tumbling out of his mouth!

Inaba's ear fell over and she was stilfing a mad fit of giggling.


She hoped it wasn't obvious, and that she kept the bodily convulsions and weird muffled sounds to a minimum.

this is what she really missed about travelling companions aside the more eyes to take turns on watch meaning more sleep. The sometimes absolutely weird things fellow travelers would say.

The boy was suitably awed by this... he never kneeew!


Well cause anytime he'd gone to touch his tail or... anything else big hoommans would tell him off.


So he was a tad shy in doing as demonstrated.


Again that hugs sigh... and mingled yawn as there was relief at going. though he hesitated before doing as told. Because he had to remind himself not to all body shaky and almost did...

almost...


but was done! and as boy bit retreated and tail wagged he looks up at Don hoping he did that right!


"liiiii dat?"

Don laughs softly as Liam finishes up. ”Much better!”

Don is oblivious to any laughing or anyone being grateful to have been spared teaching the lesson. Don doesn’t mind. He has burst fantasies of all three of his brothers on separate occasions by explaining the differences in ‘mechanics’ between humans and turtles. Granted, there are alternatives. Either way, showing a little boy to pee is - if you will forgive the pun - child’s play.

Don holds his arms out to Liam, offering to pick him up again.

Leo blushes hearing Inaba's giggles, well he supposed he could have held that compulsive bit of talking in, " ah please excuse that outburst." to the lady and settles himself beside her, though doesn't sleep yet or lay all the way back waiting to see if don would bring the boy back to him to sleep the last hours til day break or he take the blanket to them so Don could continue his watch and the boy his sleep.

Inaba turns a little to glance at him. "It's okay I have like twenty siblings and half of them are male I have heard worse jokes than that." she stretches and goes back to relaxing though now she had rolled to face the turtles.

"sounds like an successful loo training, well done." her voice soft but loud enough for the Don letting her eyes close her other ear was up now listening.

Also unawares of most of what was said between Leo and the bunny, Liam was just plum proud of himself for doing good He grins at Donnie and seeing those arms out he hops on the spot excitedly and tail wagging all the while happily takes the invitation!

He loved cuddles and nuzzles and craved the affection from big people he'd so far been denied up until now.

Of course he got all that from his brothers and missed them terribly but his current company made that hurt hurt less and he was definitely lapping it up. A yawn as he nuzzles his face against Don's shoulder with a very happy sighed yawn.

And... Don hadn't meant for everything to be heard quite that well.

"Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to wake you."

Don laughed brightly at the child's excitement as he lifted the boy off the ground and settled him on his shoulder. Despite everything that was going on, he was pretty sure he hadn't laughed this often in a long time. It felt good.

Don settled in on a rock near where Leonardo had been keeping watch earlier. And once more, he allowed Liam to slinky down into his lap.

A small flicker of a thought flitted through his mind and he quashed it immediately, not entertaining it or giving it time of day. He had to find his brothers. He had to find Liam's brothers. And whatever else happened... whatever else happened would happen. Don ran his thumb along Liam's forehead, hoping to coax the child back to sleep.

Leo grinned, " you didn't and she was right, great job there. shout out if theres a problem of any sort... oh...wait..." He stood and brought the fine blanket back over to Don for the kid, " night guys." a yawn and he rubs both their heads in a big brotherly Leo sort of way it was instinctive even if this Don was bigger then he!

He banked the fire up a little more to keep this Don warm he hoped the rain had slowed before it was still drizzling.

And he moves back to lay beside the rabbit, shy not sure how close she would allow him to be though he was a reptile and she was waaarrrm and he sought out her warmth automatically.

And that was the first real hint of his own Leo that Don had witnessed in this other one. Don was a little surprised by the familiar gesture. He hadn't expected this Leonardo to rub his head like that, and though he didn't show it at least when the other turtle was looking, it made him feel homesick.

Don continues to gently rub Liam's forehead, even as he allows his senses to drift. Once the others sleep, he will dip into his meditative state again, but not until. He's feeling much better than during the walk here, but it can't hurt to try again. Maybe it can help fight off any water borne illness that hasn't asserted itself yet. He is still concerned that he may have come into contact with something really nasty. And during watch, with the child in his lap, there's not much else to do anyway.

Chuckling Inaba had waved away Don's apology with assurances it was fine, was not as shy and shuffled her self close as she had to Don resting her back against Leo's shell to offer him some of her warmth and lets herself drift into a light doze this time.

Liam was so at home he sprawled in the lap and made a few contended sounding chuffing churrs, giggling at Leo's head rub playfully swatting at the hand, the blanket was soft and warm and he tugged it clumsily over himself and don's slap clearly trying to cover as much of the bigger turtle as he could...

the forehead rubbing slowing his movements, and making his eyes close.

Once... blink open and watch Don above him.

then the eyes closed again... bliiinking slowly open to give Don a wide grin showing all his little baby teeth, and maybe the very tip of a brand new canine above the baby one in his gum... one sharp and pointed. The smile becoming a yawn and ...

the time the forehead stroke cause his nictating eyelids to first slip into place making his eyeballs appear white. then the blue ones close and this time didnt reopen.

Don smiles fondly down at Liam and spreads out the blanket. He strokes the little boy’s forehead with his thumb and, now that everyone else is going to sleep, he takes a breath and starts clearing his mind. It’s harder now than it was earlier to quell the racing thoughts and fears. But he manages, and allows his senses to drift. This time he reaches out hoping against hope that he might find one of his brothers. He doesn’t search long, it’s difficult for him. After a short time he changes course and focuses on health once more.

Last thing Mikey recalled was arguing with Raph about winning their most awesome race across rooftops and over power lines and up the sides of tall buildings, down into the dark of allies - he had won!

For sure!

And Raph had just been about to tackle him over a stray comment about bloated buffalo, probably to head lock him and demand Mikey recite the refrain. Now with added lines of Raphael's prowess in battle when he could have sworn Renet had opened a portal!


And he was falling! on instinct pulling his nunchaku converting into kusarigama blade and turning his fall into a swing and once the spinning stops falling into a stinky muddy pit of bog swamp.


"oooooh yuck!! this is worse than April derp on my chucks!!" He complains pulling himself out of the muck and standing in the drizzling rain trying to make sense of where he was and how he got here. Then panicking for a moment when he realized he was alone. Utterly alone. He drew his t phone from his belt but found no signal. no way to call any of his brothers.

"RAPH!!

That was one way.

"LEOOOO!"

He trotted along the path he found himself on not knowing where he was going. And his voice seemed to stir something int he murkiness along the sides of the path he could barely make out in the rain and dark.

He put his phone away to pausing. "DONNIE!?"

His voice echoing and LOUD - he'd waited this time for the latest flash of lightning so he had a cap between that and thunder to call out.

Leo snorted a little in his sleep snuggling into the warmth the bunny body provided and mumbling " nooo Mike not now I'm pickling some slugs." into the fur on the back of Inaba's head.

Don heard shouting and pulled himself out of the meditation session. And he knew those names. With a sigh he picked Liam up and carried him over to Leonardo... just in time to hear him muttering about pickled slugs. He laughed softly as he woke Leo.

”We have company. I’m pretty sure it’s a Mikey.”

And Don can’t resist.

”How were the pickled slugs?”

Inaba also mumbled, mostly about sea slugs being a healthier option but stayed asleep this time her nose twitching and ears flopped over.

Out in the dark many swamp critters took off at the loud yells. Including a couple of swamp dweller that had been considering snacking on the newly arrived turtle. His sudden loud out bursts startling them away.

In that weird fluid state that most children became in true sleep Liam didn't stir this time. Mostly cause there was still contact with Donnie and there was no need to pee!


He did curl his fingers on the top edge of Don's plastron in sleep when he subconsciously felt them moving.

Sleepily Leo rose and eyed the two, then it clicked what Don said and he raises both eye ridges, not yet aware of how close he'd snuggled up to bunny girl.

Then again she gave off enough heat he was surprise no iguanas or their Nexus equivlant were not all there laying on her too. He clears his throat and shifts a tiny bit of room between them and chuckling at dons words, " I thought I was dreaming that Mikey voice ... and the slugs... mmmm a bit chewy and tangy." holding up arms to gather the sleeping boy guessing thats what he had been awakn for.

Unawares his loudness was for now keeping creep swamp this at bay and outta sight the youth had yet to see through the misting rain the fire light soft as it was at the moment.

And he was the kind of turtle to really put his whole self into a brother's name shout.head back and chest expanded.

He draws out his Chuck's again creeping along now much quieter listening and making out the glow of fire somewhere ahead and of to the side of the pathway.

Listening himself now so again quiet just hearing the swamp around him.

Don hands Liam carefully to Leonardo.

”I’ll be back as soon as I can.”

Once safely passed, Don slips off silently tracking a very loud turtle.

It doesn’t take long. He speaks softly, from just outside chuck range. His own weapon on his back, but he’s ready just in case.

“Hello, you might want to keep it down, Michelangelo.”

"Donnie! Oh thank Grantor-" instinctively approaching the turtle immediately trusting lowering his weapons a wide eyed look on his face not even questioning this was not Don - naive in believing absolutely no Don anywhere would be dangerous to a Mikey.

"wow your bigger than my Don though he's taller." he blinks enormous blue eyes. "soooo know where we are?" assuming all Don's knew everything.

"Yes, this seems to be the recurring theme." Don deadpans.

When he speaks again, his voice is soft, keeping quiet, but making sure this Michelangelo can hear him. "We're in the Allora Swamp in the Nexus, a world between worlds. And we don't need to attract any more attention than we already have."

Michelangelo has no obnoxious lettered belt buckle, so Don assumes that this must be yet another set of turtles.

"Come on, I'll take you back to our camp, but keep it down, the others are trying to sleep."

Inaba slept un unawares of the bundle of little limbs rejoining her and her current turtle snuggle buddy.


Still a little frightened by the noise of the newest turtle swamp things stayed away for the moment wary and alert, where before a few had been creeping closer, salgators and more muck squids and tree dwelling shadow predators that might resemble weasles.

Leo had been keen to meet the other Mikey sure the voice was familiar. But...

he passed out once he had Liam on his plastrona nd had flopped in elegantly back down beside Inaba, infact and arm and leg over her and Liam splayed on his plastron like the two were trying to imitate starfish.

spread out on his plastron to plastron with Leo Liam indeed resembled a star fish!

Mikey skipped along content now. He was less worried about his brothers now he had found a Donnie, trusting to the fact if he had found more turtles the others had too no doubt. He grins easily at this Don's dead pan voice lowering his even if he was still enthusiastic sounding.

" Neeeeat well this calls for..." He pauses their trek on the way and pulls from his belt a smoke bomb, clearly home made... and slams it down vanishing from beside Donnie and seeming to reappear in a similiar poof a foot to the other side of this Don dressed in 'Savage Mikey' wear.


his brothers were of course used to his random outfits. though dismayed he now had the ability to change into them whenever he liked too. Shinigami had showed him the secret to how she fit everything into her pointed witchy hat and given him and his brothers new belts last happy mutation day with the same enchantments.

Mikey even had his 'hippy outfit' in the belt. And heaps of his Donnie's specially made smoke bombs. "Ta daaaa... what you think?" posing treating this Don as he would his own brother.

At least all this was, energetically and fast and all over the place, was done at a soft volume.

Don is mildly surprised by the random outfit, but he does an admirable job of keeping tje surprise under wraps. This is still a Michelangelo though, and while the crazy seems to be a little amplified, he attempts the course of action that seems to work best with his own Mikey.  Acknowledge, but don't engage.

"Nice." His tone is slightly flat, but there's a hint of a chuckle behind it.

"Come on, I don't want to leave the others too long." Don leads Mikey back toward camp. It's not far, but Don doesn't want to leave his traveling companions asleep with no one on guard.

He laughs softly as he spots Liam sprawled on Leonardo's plastron.

"Please don't wake them. It's been a long day." Don says softly as they reenter camp, and he offers Michelangelo a seat by the fire.

See Don's had all the answers!

Well usually!

" I knooooow right I call it Savage Mikey - this is an actual Kraang bone - I got it in dimension x." chat chat, cause that course of action never worked on this Mikey. He was proud of his savage gear anyways. He was eager all the way back to the camp bouncing on his feet.

" ooooh cooool you has a bunny in your world - and a tiny turtle? eeeee - oh wait I've met this Leo before." He manages the quiet, bouncing over to the sleeping three but on silent feet and excitedly taking in the female rabbit and the small so very cute turtle and the … well Karai had called the googly eyed turtles.


He withdraws his tphone nawwwing and takes a picture, hopping the few steps back to Don's side, clearly not tired at all. He'd actually gotten the hang of taking pictures not of his eyeball now!

" soooo know how I got here? did a very pretty girl with a staff show up anywhere cause it might be her doings. Although one time it was cause of that Leo's brother Don... and another time we were magiced away by a evil guy Jei… and another time an evil guy Romeo Savanti or something like that..."He prattles in whispers. " One time it was my fault I went to rescue my friend Leatherhead. And diving into a portal caused my brothers to follow me."


He parks himself by the fire feeling about in his belt and drawing out a actual pizza slice. Offering it to Don first.

Leo, being a Leo even asleep seemed to feel some one hovering over them and an arm slips over the child on his plastron - the rabbit already half under him with one leg and arm thrown over her soft form. Mumble mumble " salty pickled sluuugs."

Liam appears to agree with the mumbling... he burps and smacks his lips a couple of times drooling on Leo's plastron.

Oh brother, this guy is impossible.

He responds to Michelangelo’s rapid fire chatter in sequence. Mostly in the same breath. This is an old game, though this Michelangelo seems to play on a higher level.

”I don’t know what a Kraang is. Someone brought us here, I don’t know who yet. Not Renet. Not his Don or Savanti. Probably not anyone else you listed. No Thank you. I would sooner eat his pickled slugs.” Don gestures vaguely toward Leonardo.

Don is wondering if he should be concerned about how nauseous the pizza makes him feel. Though he’s pretty sure it’s at least mostly the knowledge that it came out of a Michelangelo’s pocket. He does take a couple of the bits of nuts and fruit that were set out earlier before wrapping them back up to return to Inaba later.

Mikey ha humphed when his list of possible and usual suspects was dismissed pouting a little, "tooo bad cause if it was Renet I actually have a song for her, she's so pretty. Ya know she sent us back one time and it turns out we had always been there to save our father... And we got to hold our then baby big half sister?"


His attention goes to the sleeping Leo and the child."duuuuude has pickled slugs and he's holding out?" absolutely indignant about that! shrugging about the pizza and all but inhaling this piece, chewing he just figured dead bugs and lint were not this Don's fave toppings... wasn't his Don's favourite toppings either to be honest. " you sure? Shinigami's spell work on my belt keeps the pizzas fresh and warm... I have regular flavours as well as ones like jalapeno anchovy and jelly beaaaan…. might even had a container of pizza shake in here somewhere - huh what are my tightie whities doing in that pocket?" he draws out the ragged piece of human undergarments and then plunges it back into his belt his entire arm being swallowed by the little belt pouch. His t phone falling out of his hand as he doubles efforts to search through the pizza boxes.


" so whose little turtle is that anyways? yours? pretty sure that Leo never had kids when he visited us last - you know my Leo actually had to teach him to use if his swords offensively? guy had never stabbed or cut anything with them! My Leo beheaded an evil super shredder … and a mummy once..." withdrawing a different flavoured pizza slice to offer Don.

Don is only half listening. This Michelangelo is more than he can handle. And he’s finding it a little difficult to keep watch with the constant distraction. At least Leonardo had a little charm in his yammering. This Michelangelo is just obnoxious. The continued pizza talk is not helping, and Don is getting more concerned about the swamp water from earlier.

He completely ignores the question about Liam, if it gets Michelangelo to shut up, Don will gladly claim Liam.

He is a little surprised to hear about Leonardo not having been trained in offense. That was absurd.

”How do you fight without offense?”

Don himself is primarily a defensive fighter, but no offense at all?

Mikey was obnoxious... and a bit much... excitement and nerves creating 'extra' of him...


But he was also very intuitive.


And as he would his own Donnie when he sensed he'd pushed limits he modulated himself easily enough. He was 'fluid' in that sense, he shifted instinctively to give the bigger Donnie more personal space, his voice dropped even softer and slower and his hands sort out his t phone again to find a game to busy himself with as he answers the Don.


" I.... don't really know... all I know is Sensei Leo had us run them through some drills individually... then he took them into a few work outs." He had stopped promotion the pizza too, big eyes peeling themselves from the screen of his phone to eye this Don. " you... okay man you seem - a little more green than a turtle should, especially a Donnie. Is it me?
