Oh yeaaaah, she definitely enjoyed that! pressing lightly against the very close to her Raph and humming just for him, one of those deeply pleased hums her tail uncurling and playfully she slips the tip right along the inner curve of his right thigh giggling a bit. " I would enjoy that.' And indeed she would and probably keep pace with him to arrive at the top at the same time just to check out muscles and well it was gonna be fun!

And she gives him a gentle kiss - almost nose touch with it and a wink -

She maybe did glance over the group but Leonardo had drawn them all in a little closer and wrapped arms around them, and Raphael also cuddled them close so And Duncan was still again tucked under Leo's chin and spread over his plastron, cuddled there by Addy and the massive turtles so they didn't look like they were moving for some time yet.

So she and Raph can enjoy the view, each other and the sweet berries!

And she would too - on the way up after a giggle and starting the race - kept pace with him - and already she knew from their jungle travels that Raph could move fast when he wanted, so it was a fun awesome climb! lots of acrobatics from her!

Leo is definitely not ready to wake up just yet. Probably fairly soon, as he is typically an early riser, but this is still a little early yet, and last night's adventure did take a lot out of him. It is a wonderful turtle pile that they have put together here, with Duncan curled up on his plastron, and Addy here next to him, almost fully encompassed by the larger turtles. Leo churred softly as the larger turtles shifted them around a little, and once they're still again, he falls quiet. Sleeping soundly.

Oh... that tail! Raph churrs softly, but a bit excited. He doesn't want to disturb the others. They'll have a little more freedom once they reach the Crows Nest.

Raph is definitely enjoying this game with Lilo. He might be a turtle, but he is also a ninja, and he is quick as he makes his way to the crow's nest with her. And he really enjoyed watching her move as she made her own way up. Her easy movements simply a joy. Especially since he's pretty sure those acrobatics are for him. And he shows off a little in turn.

He smiles as they reach the Crows Nest. Hopefully the watch will be quiet, and they can enjoy each other, and these berries. That sounds like a lovely way to start the day. He pulls her into a hug, gentle, a little nuzzly. Nothing too exciting, they do still need to pay attention to what they're doing.

" wooow - just... wow.' Lilo grins out her sort of siiiigh giggling andlightly cupping Raph's cheek with her tail when he drew her closer and was making her happy purr with that sweet nuzzling, bringing his teasing snout up to just kiss him, ' and here I thought it was impressive in the jungle travels, watching you." she beams.

Yep, he definitely had her attention coming up here and impressed her, not even breaking the kissing to mumble those words so happily, they had a great view, the turtle pile below had become still again and quiet after churrs and even a sort of soft brief hah chuckle from Leonardo beneath them. And they had all the berries, alone time and the breeze was a nice cool one, not a freezing cold dewy morning one!

Raph feels a little bit like the King of the World up here! Especially with Lilo here kissing him like that! Yup, things are pretty good at the moment, but he will absolutely not say it! The universe has a nasty sense of humor like that. He knows this bliss won't last.

It never does.

But he is determined to enjoy it!

"You're pretty impressive yourself, Miss Lilo."

The morning breeze is on the cool side, but not too bad, and he takes his time before breaking off the kiss slowly. Letting it sort of end on its own. Once it does, he takes a glance about below them as they are on watch duty before turning back to Lilo. He doesn't exactly let her go, just sort of makes sure that he is doing the job he was assigned as well.

He comes back and nuzzles against her. Pretty sure he'd been promised those elusive goji berries, but not actually eager to push that, as he's really just enjoying being with her.

" thank you sweet warrior," Lilo certainly feels the wonderful cool of the breeze up here and the rock of the boat was more noticeable, but to her, it felt like the familiar sway of treetops under a breeze so she wasn't fazed at all and pleased to note her crows' nest buddy seemed equally at home up here with her!

She does not mind waiting for him to look around too - she herself will be intermittently taking a look about and - hmmmmm he is back and nuzzling just as she has a berry out of the bowl and flicked off the little tuft of green twig still attached. " I think I can see why this spot is such a good one...' a bit of a giggle and tail wrapping about him pulling him closer, and slipping the berry into her mouth, well half enough to get a light grip with her teeth, they were something else entirely Raph was about to learn when the sweetness was coupled with the acts of a kiss and the sudden burst of the juice all over tongues and teeth - initiating one now and waiting for that well... she didn't know it was sort of savory cheese flavor of Raph and the burst of berry when he worked out how to kiss and take ahold of the fruit too.

"Quite the view." And while they do have a nice view of the ship and the ocean, he's not actually looking at that.

Raph is curious about what Lilo is doing with the berry, and for a moment, not sure what Lilo is trying to do, but he catches on pretty quickly. He moves in.

"Oh... so this is how we're going to play?" He likes that.

And... it takes a moment to figure out how to catch the other part of the berry, his mouth is designed a little differently, but after a moment he got there.

He gets it now. The sweet, slightly sour berry on top of her already tropical flavor was a pretty intoxicating combination, and he drank that in, pulling her closer.

nope she is in no rush to move, although somewhat awake and her tail curls and slowly brushes against Leo, her eyes do not open but she purrs with the turtles and licks Leo' lightly, blindly not sure where it landed but it was his flavor so she was happy. Just enjoying the warming sun and the closeness.

Leo's internal clock is saying almost time to get up, but his body and spirit is just not ready yet. Maybe he overdid it a little with helping the others.

But he does wake enough to notice Addy's movements and affection, and he snuggles against her a bit more. He wraps around Duncan a little tighter too and churrs softly.

He lets the churr fade after a moment though, and though it still looks like sleep, he's actually in something closer to a restorative meditating state. He'll 'wake up' annoyingly perky soon. Though he definitely appreciates the full night's sleep without the interruption of a watch.

Though he will definitely take one tonight.

Dawwwww there is muffled sort of soft giggling around the berry as she waits - somewhat patiently - eager for his flavor and the berry - tail moving over him, the padded tip brushing over his bicep, along the armored sides of his body and lower to flick lightly against his, - just a tease as Raph pulls her close to him.

Responding with a happy hum and an arm sliding about his shoulders teasing the skin under the edge of the carapace, hum had a slightly delighted Mmmmm! in it as the berry burst with their combined grips, bites, coating their tongue and teeth in its sudden burst of flavor, mingling with that sort of pepperoni pizza flavor of Raph and her own tropical sort of flavor.

"Mm..." Oh, could they do that again? Maybe not right this second, because he's still enjoying the first berry, on top of Lilo's already sweet, tropical taste.

The slight sour flavor sort of amuses him since she had compared him one of these berries earlier.

Yeah, it fit, he'll own that. Sour and all. Actually, he's sort of proud of that.

He churrs a bit deeper when Lilo flicks his tail with her own, and he lets his hand slide down her back, still pulling her to him.

" Mmm-hmmm, sort of the perfect combination of sweet and sour no?" soft and sort of still hummy - okay a lot hummy with her delighted hum, enjoying the deepening churrs her tail flick caused, and keen to encourage his out of hiding under his carapace edge her tail tip just lightly tickling, a soft stroke of the fur side of the tip against him, lightly.

Most definitely showing she encourages the churring, pressing closer as his hand slips lower, making her shiver a little and all her fur stand on end with just that touch.

" another one?"

below Leonardo sighs a bit - almost like he had it squished out of him by the bear that is Raphael - and peeks an eye at his companions, and shifts his arms to sort of offer a buffer between Leo, Addy, Duncan and the living thundercloud trying to constrict them all.

Duncan wriggles, he would need to pee soon! his little fingers brushing over Leo's skin and toes wriggling as he slowly wakes and stretches.

Leo can definitely feel the movement around him, Raphael squeezing them, Leonardo's buffer against his massive brother, and Duncan's wiggling. It's the last one that's really the only one Leo's concerned about. Duncan will have to pee soon, and he'll need some help to do that. But the little guy isn't quite awake just yet, and Leo will take that opportunity to continue his light, restorative meditation.

Though he knows it's soon to end.

"Sort. of..." Raph agreed happily, sort of lazily. And he did finally let her coax his tail out of hiding, the soft fur and gentle touch was just more than he could deny. He doesn't have anything like the dexterity that her tail has, but he does have a little and sort of nudges at hers in response.

And he felt her fur stand on end, and lets that deeper churr rumble a little longer.

He whispers into her ear his response to her question. "Definitely."

Low hummed sort of chirp almost of delight and Lilo feels his tail nudge hers, ' mmmmm soooort of/" flirty tease, as is the tail tip lightly and slowly just flicking first against his nudgy tail tip and then lightly stroking along the top side, feeling with the sensitive padding the larger scaling.

No need to rush up here and or worry, they had the best view !

Well she definitely thought so that lazy sort of happy smiley Raph and - " you first?" offering the berri to him this time - eager to join in her one free hand slipping uup arm, along shoulders towards back of head to both cup and to just lightly stroke on the way, maybe play with bandana tails too!

"has he ever crushed anyone?" Addy purr whispers to Leonardo, nuzzling lightly against Leo, and maybe licking Duncan as he wriggles again.

Leonardo's silent laugh was short but felt through the contact they had with the wide plastron. " Detective Casey Jones foolishly believed Michelangelo that a sleepy Raphael is the perfect wake person and sent him in to disturb him. And got pulled into a bear hug."

Duncan pouts his eyes closed! he don't wanna wake yet! - hides face against DadLeo!

Leo is chuckling softly at the conversation around him. He's not really back yet, but close enough. After another moment he opens his eyes.

"Detective Casey Jones, huh? Yours sounds much more put together than ours is." Though to be fair, Casey has grown a lot since they first met him. Leo likes to think they have been a good influence over the years. Though a lot of the credit probably goes to April too. And Casey was never a bad guy exactly, just... a little impulsive.

He nuzzles the little guy trying to hide against him. Yeah, if he's honest, Leo isn't really ready to wake up either.

"Good morning, Duncan."

Raph chuckled. He had been agreeing with her. Repeating her own description. Because yes, it wa sort of perfect. "Sort of absolutely perfect." He churrs softly for her for now, just thoroughly enjoying the peace and the closeness, and the remaining touch of the berry combined with her own tropical flavor.

She's going to make it difficult to move his tail at all if she keeps this up much longer, though for the moment, he still has a little movement and oh, what she's doing feels good.

He smiles as he accepts that next berry, and mimics what she had just done, catching half of the berry between his teeth, and waiting for her.

Raph is pretty sure goji berries are his new favorite fruit.

Addy giggles, she is not sure what a detective is but she understands it is a title of some sort of employment. And is amused the guy fell for the prank, smiling and nuzzling Duncan and Leo and just letting the cool breeze wash over them. The rock of the boat on the waters just fill the moment - it was nice and comfortable.

Grunt as he stretches a bit and in the act of doing so Leonardo opens up Raphael's bear hold a bit more so the others could slip away when they needed, wanted to. He doesn't mind if Raphael squishes him a bit longer in sleep but for the moment Leonardois recovered and like Leo had been mostly just lightly meditating.

" not when we met him he was still just an officer, eager and green and sort of fresh from corrections work, he actually thought we might be aliens and were going to eat him and April." Amused still by this and the fun they had poked at their Casey ever since then. Haha, poor guy. Though He supposed they were terrifying at the first meeting. " what about you Casey?" he thought it was totally cool they had one too - everyone needed a Casey.

This wasn't a bad way to wake up. No... this was alright. he returns Addy's nuzzles and adds his own to her affection to Duncan. That little pout and the way he wiggled when he hid against Leo's plastron reminded him so much of Don. It was just the way his brother used to hide when he's not ready to get up!

Leo is amused by the story of this other Casey. Guy seems really, really different from his own!

"Hot-headed, crazy, vigilante, former hockey player with a thirst for vengeance against the Purple Dragon gang. Thought Raph was a crazy, green gang-banger and challenged him to a fight in Central Park. I didn't hear a lot of the first meeting because it was just him and Raph for most of it. He's a bit of an idiot, and sort of a klutz, but his heart's in the right place, and he's come a long way since we first met him."

Leo chuckled a bit. He did miss their human friends.

"He's almost respectable now. Even married April."

Noooo Duncan does not want to get up - but the little guy cannot keep the totally fake pout going - he was not managing it at all ! a slow grin and though he squeezed eyes shut he is churring.

Addy is a giggling and purrs with Duncan both of them keeping eyes closed now and just relishing this moment though Duncan was not going to be able to hold it much longer. " these Caseys both sound pretty dang cool."

Leonardo is chuckling, " Indeed, and yes I think I can definitely conclude they both are cool that sounds like a wonderfully crazy best bud for your Raphie - best way to meet a guy," and wowing a bit, " hehehe I wonder if I tell my Casey and April that if it will make them blush or consider it, well as a one day thing, for now their just casual daters and friends. That is sooo coool, hehehe well suppose you guys can tell them yous beat them having kids." play tease and well it was funny.

Lilo is a giggle gurt for a moment waggling her brows and echoing the motion with her tail tip against his tail, just as she had slid off the tip and was now stroking the underside of that tail, it still could move and she was encouraging that and of course curious as to why it seemed to be unable - nodding eagerly and watching him choose a roundish berry, " mmm hmmmm had to repeat it a couple of times they are... you are - just that delicious."

Oh most definitely so!

Leo chuckled at the Casey's being cool. "Something like that. But they are definitely good friends. And he really gives Raph an outlet he wouldn't have otherwise." Speaking of his own Raph. He hopes his brothers are doing well. Mike and Raph are probably fine, but he definitely needs to check on Don later.

"And yeah, I suppose we did." He's nuzzling little Duncan, trying to gently encourage a little more wakefulness into the tot. "They're going to have to play catch up now."

There's a sliiiiight look of... something. Well hidden, but it's there. Confusion, concern or something else entirely at Duncan's little pout. He's seen that look before. He's not there just yet, but maybe slowly starting to put pieces together. He pushes the thought aside for later and starts gathering the child up to take him to pee!

Dang it he was getting very fond of her.

Leo laughed at the idea of Raph and Casey breaking into police headquarters because... yeah, the two hot headed, smash-first-think-later goobs he knows would do something like that.

"I can see that."

It would have been a great pervy moment, and Leo was aware of it, but his attention is captured by the child in his arms. He knows the look on Duncan's face. Too well... The smile definitely, even the way he keeps peeking up at Leo.

Shit... no way... right?

No way...

He rubs the little faker's cheek, and shoots Addy a look. He's thinking... shit... he needs a moment... Just... just a moment.

And he takes Duncan to pee. Once there, he tickles the goofy, little guy's side. Right up his bridging. Right where his own brother is most ticklish, and always has been. "You are soooo not asleep, you little faker." Push it aside for now, get through this task...

While Leo is definitely amused by the child's antics, and is definitely laughing, he is also watching the boy closely.

Leo even knows that squeak and squirm! He knows the yelp that squeak will someday turn into.

But... how...?

Leo keeps the emotion buried as he takes his turn peeing and helps make sure they both have clean hands before they leave the space and rejoin Addy on the deck. He is snuggling Duncan close, sort of wondering how much of what he's about to say that the little guy will understand. At the same time, he's still a little bit shell shocked.

"I'm thinking that... whoever cast this spell tried to pull through my brothers and I, they got several groups of similar turtles, right? So... Why the kids? They're not another group of us. They're a group of one of the groups' kids. So... their fathers are probably here too."

He takes a moment. Looking at Duncan once more, and seeing so much of Don in that little face.

'I'm thinking that... these kids actually are... ours. My brothers and mine. Or at least one or two of us. And... not just by adoption." There... the crazy thought that looks less and less crazy every time he looks at the kid is out there in the multiverse.

"Duncan is just... too much like Don. His smile, the way he moves. That squeak ... everything. He... he feels like Don! The two Raph's here... they have qualities that remind me of my own, but... they don't smile like him, and they definitely don't feel like him." He rubs Duncan's cheek. That little face is so very much like his brother. "I think... they're our kids and until we came here... we never knew they existed."

And that bothers him, but for now, he just hugs his son. His brother's son? Does it even matter? He hugs Duncan close

Duncan is of course fascinated by DaddyLeo peeing too! well the fact doodles are colored green and purple, and once more he discovers the delight of the echoing drop down to the ocean loo hole - and well to his amazement a Naiad below calls back up!

He doesn't understand all Leo was saying to the others, and well he is curious and listening - though Leo's affectionate hugging and cheek touch does distract and make the little guy waggle his tail eagerly nuzzling back, hugging and muttering happily he has Daddy - Liam has Daddy and Randal Daddy too and has to ponder if Malcolm has one too, mumbling their names to himself.

Addy had been giggling - much to Leonardos mock glaring -

Raphael had rolled and pinned his 'big' brother under his considerable bulk and was snuggling the poor guy like a body pillow. Leonardo huffs, even so he was listenign to Leo and his eyes widening, a mixture of awe and envy on his face, as well as being squished. " Whooooooa that has to be the trippiest and yet most awesom ebut also very unhappy realisations... ever!" bit huffed and squeaky cause well ya know he was bullet proof not Raphael proof -

" SNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRREEE!"

Addy listens and like Leonardo does understand this is a sort of epiphany thats a good one but a bad one too - she reaches over to stroke Leo's bicep lightly in a friendly commiserating gesture, " that... wow - how are you feeling about it...?... think any of your brothers have worked this out too?" gentle and a purr in her tone and lightly nuzzling the shoulder she is closest to - and that little head.

Leo has decided to just enjoy Duncan's fascination. It's easier that way, and he doesn't want to stifle that curiosity. He laughed when the Naiad called up.

He does sort of automatically respond to Duncan's mumbling. "Malcolm has DaddyMike." It sort of flits through his mind that Randal and Malcolm have decidedly simpler Daddy relationships than Liam and Duncan, but he's not going to worry about that. They'll figure it out later. Probably just all be Daddy.

He understood that the giggling was directed at Duncan, not Leo's words, but did sort of have to remind himself of that. And really... the little guy was adorable. He couldn't blame her.

"Yeah..." It's a simple response to Leonardo's very true words, and he looks up at Addy when she asks how he's feeling.

"I'm not really sure yet..." Because, well... it's a lot. He feels pretty torn at the moment. They failed these kids for three years.

He sort of shook his head as he considered the next question. "I... don't know. Mike's pretty intuitive about things like that, but might not be observant enough to see himself in the kid. Raph... I don't know, but he has Lee with him, and he has decent spiritual training and an outside perspective. He might notice how similar they are." He shook his head. "I sort of hope Don hasn't. At least not until he's a little stronger..."

Leonardo grunts abit - Kovu was clear - and she blinked a little and traced her fingers where few would dare to, along Leonardo's sides and it was at the ends, underhis armpit and hip thatmade Leonardo squirm under the pinning of Raphael -

" ooooh man I - that has to both be incredible and suck.... eeeeeeeeee!" and oh no! Kovu knew exactly what she did and was looking mischievous - and well trapped as he was Leonardo just had to take it, squirm and fight to not laugh at this inappropriate moment -

Raphael snores and churrs and cuddles his body pillow a little tighter, like a boa constrictor -

Addy's ears droop, her whiskers too - and she does not take up Leo's space unless he wants her to - stepping back half a step just encase recalling all the ways she definitely overstepped in early days. Though her light touch does move to Duncan's shell smiling at the little guy and another hand still on Leo just lightly squeezes. Her look like a mothering cat over the little guy -and this time managing not to look amused as Leonardo is ... sort of tortured.

Leo was actually sort of amused by his counterpart's struggle. Pinned under a sleeping, massive Raph and being tickled.

And... actually that sort of helped. It took his mind off the situation he could do nothing about, other than let go and move forward. And he smiled slightly.

Leo does sort of catch Addy as she backed away. A silent 'No, please stay.' Because he knows he can't do anything but forge ahead, and make things better for the kids from now on, but... it still hurts. And he wants her close. And he nuzzles Duncan. He definitely wants the little guy close.

That smile did it, it was small and hesitant, but already fighting to not give in and doing admirably Leonardo finally cracks and hahahahas squirming and boy Kovu was clearly enjoying the moment soft cute huff huff sounds as she gigglings and searching for other ticklish spots!

Addy pauses, and feeling less like she might be invading on a privately painful moment she purrs and nuzzles Duncan first, soft chuckle as the little guy makes the cutest little warbling high note - opposite to his warbly cry or loud chirp, this one of delight as they both nuzzle him, and his little hands grasp at Leo'sshoulders just so he had the leverage to reach his snout up and nuzzle at Leo in return, little tail almost hummingbird, umping against Leo's arm, fast between them both against her body as she moves closer and nuzzles Leo'scheek too just to share her soft purr to him too." you make him happy." she murmurs.

Leo sort of chuckles softly as Kovu really starts tickling the pinned turtle. He turns his attention to Duncan and Addy though, and nuzzles the happy little boy who is so eagerly returning the affection. There's a soft sigh at Addy's words, but he can't be too upset with the way Duncan is attacking him with snuggles!

Even with Duncan's obvious enjoyment of the nuzzling and affection, Leo needed to hear what she said. Even though he did chuckle at the tail thumping on his arm, he needed someone else to say that Duncan was happy now. He nods. He heard. He understands. He knew it, but to hear it from an outside source made it a little more real. He pressed his forehead into Addy. He appreciates it. He really does.

Leo has definitely moved out of the whole trying to keep Addy at arm's length thing. Maybe a little hesitant at times still as he doesn't know where this will be able to go, but... He wants to be close, and is starting to embrace that. He wants to see where this could go. Shell, he came close to losing her. And right now, he is definitely accepting her affection. Just... enjoying and taking a little comfort from this little family he has found within the larger group.

They could let Kovu finish torturing Leonardo, and maybe wait for Raphael to wake up. Then it would probably be in their best interest to get underway.

Kovu stops tickling to just laugh he strange laugh, pleased with the result of Leonardo squirming and wriggling and amused more when a large golden Raph eye opens to peek at them both. Though she can only really guess what they are saying to each other

Raphael lightly nuzzled and nips Leonardo shoulder, earning a dep playful rumbling growl from Leonardo, " you make the worst body pillow bro far too much wrigglin! '" more playing growls and they begin to separate from the pin snuggle, or more over Raphael rolls off to begin getting to his feet stretching and eyeing the snuggling of Leo and Addy to the boy - [color=#cc0000]" did someone try to hurt eh kid... who do I crush?" [/color immediately concerned for the little guy that treated Raphael like a big playmate.

Leonardo grins catching his breath and glad he won't ever be fool enough to want to let alone try hurting a kid Raphael is fond of. Or any kid when in Raphael's general vicinity.
Even though he could hold his own against the beastly turtle.

He takes the moment to pull Kovu to him and kiss her. Damn teasing nymph!

Addy smiles and mid nuzzles catch Leo's lips a few times, not in forceful kisses just light ones, and once or twice with her purr licks as she is lavishing them on Duncan and after the second time she caught Leo more on him to, her very soft bald skin brushing over them lightly and he ears more relaxed this time in the droop a happy angle way. Giggling hearing Raphael's protective sleepy sounding voice.

Duncan is not sure of all the emotions the big people are feeling, all he knows is he is being loved and he is just a over the moon little guy about it, happily mumbling he knows brudders are okay and got dads and he has dad and is happy.. Though he and Addy had not quiet settled on mum yet, he does respond to the licking like a kit eyes closing and happy churring and little tail patting away. Small hands still resting on those wide shoulders!

Between Addy and Duncan, Leo is definitely distracted from any dark thoughts that might be crossing his mind about the past three years! At least for now, and it should definitely give him a little time to process some of the emotions a little more clearly on his own later. He definitely needs to contact his brothers... Maybe a little later though, sort of let a clearer head prevail first.

Leo was amused by the big guys' play, but he's not really paying a whole lot of attention to hit. He pulled back from Addy just a little and looked over, sort of a sad smile at Raphael's offer to crush. He doesn't leave her side as he wants here there. He just sort of leans back enough to respond to Raphael.

"No one here... but there's a lab on my world that I wouldn't mind some help with when this is all over." Subtle, but if he doesn't really trust himself to say it outright again. Actually, he's sort of curious to see if it was enough for Raphael to pick up on.

Blissful, Leo could boast to making two looks totally blissful, happy little Duncan and content Addy. And her ears flick towards the big turtles and giggling Kovu, waggling with silent sniggers at the big guys, but too distracted and wonderfully so by just purring and snuggling her two - soon -

soon enough they will have to snack and get moving -

but for this moment more.

Leonardo grins over at Leo as Raphael takes a moment, he like Raphie was not a considered a fast thinker, maybe even a bit dim, all brawn and no brain, even Leonardo had made the mistake once of saying in anger and frustration that Raphael's brains were in his biceps. But it wasn't true the big turtle was a methodical thinker - impulsive yes and quick to more berserk rage but when he understood there was a hint and or hints and put his mind to it he was a methodical guy. And after a moment he got the subtext of Leo's words and nods, " heh just point me and unleash the beast." he turns his shoulder - that massive shoulder to show the raised burn scar to show the kanji for 'beast' he definitely earned it.

Leonardo nods. Actually, he would enjoy having Raphael exact a nightmarish vengeance on those that created and hid the little sweet boys from their dads for so long. Especially all the more enjoyable as Leonardo has just recently been exploring and trying to make hybrids of his own.

Leo is a little torn. Part of him just wants to stay right here where he is, but... another part of him needs to move. Needs to do something. Even if there's nothing he can do to resolve the issue that's bothering him at the moment, he can work toward getting back to his brothers. Task at hand. Move forward, press on!

It would give him something else to focus on.

He kisses Addy once more, and gives Duncan one more nuzzle then sort of straightens up a little and the confident leader is back.

"We should think about getting moving again. We probably don't want to give the locals any more time to pull together and come after us." Though the old crew had been pretty determined to leave, sticking around too long might encourage someone to take their chances.

He looks to Addy for what to do next though. Because this is her boat!

Both the bigger guys do recognise the shift and as he has been doing Leonardo is fairly good at not being all ruffled feathers at the younger but capable alpha - and bumps lightly againt his counterpart a gentle reminder there was also the meditation buddy or talk buddy -

Raphael grins he figured Lilo and Raph might be a bit still and now that he was up he is ready to move out too! see new lands and it looked like some of the cloud cover was gone?

Addy is even more reluctant to focus. But Purring and all melty sort of happy she gives her ears a flick and glances about, " it will be a little work to get ready, everything needs to be ssecured the brazier extinguished and the anchor pulled up this will take all three of you I think as it is a larger vessel the anchor is heavier... and then we should extend the sails and ropes and make sure their all looking good.. are you carry our Duncan?" and the little guy is such a happy fellow.

He is at the moment chewing on the end of Leo's bandana still in happy snuggle mde. Addy grins she will wait for Leo's decision then get his sorted and the big guys all working on securing and inspections.

Leo gives his counterpart a glance of 'thanks.' And it's an almost deferential one, aaaalmost little brother hoping big brother can help. Well, as close to that as Leo can manage anyway. He is definitely glad

He followed Addy's glances, keeping track of what she had said. They're going to need some guidance on securing the ship, but she probably knows that! And he definitely wants to be underway! And this sort of preparation and readying for sailing is a great distraction from and moment to consider what he's realized.

"Aye, aye, Captain."

He snuggled Duncan once more, chuckling softly as he pulled the bandanna tails out of his mouth! He is definitely not ready to give Duncan up at the moment. Not after...

"I'll carry him. It worked pretty well with him on ny back last time." And the overly curious little guy would probably object if he wasn't in on the action and getting to see what was going on and how it all worked! At least until he wears himself out!

Addy grins and well blushes a little but manages to keep the momentum, only Leo, it turned out could make her lush saying aye captain! She goes to fetch the sling from her new quarters, the cloth was clean and dry and ready for a new adventure, and huh the little boy had actually put on a little weight, still a bit of a weed but more shape to him than before dawwww she was glad. And even if they had seen it before, encase she went down again, she makes Leonardo, Raphael, and Kovu pay attention as she slips the sling back on Leo, slips, around him and the snuggly little guy who looked perfectly content to be snuggled and snug back and repeat new words - or observe things he had seen before but hadn't had words to say what he was seeing.

Duncan as Addy makes him giggle tickling his sides a bit as she slips the sling under between him and Leo's plastrons had noticed a while ago this, broken bit of Leo's carapace, of course, it was an older injury and will with sheds as Leo grew or had his annual shed would fad out - just take a long time. " oooooh c cara paaassss ouuch?"

Addy maaaaaybe taking the opportunity to peck Leo's cheek and nawwww at the little guy!

Leonardo stopped making Kovu squirm as he tickled her back, though he really enjoyed her laughter - and well he pays attention to the slinging, Raphael crowding in- almost stepping on him to watch - he had grinned back at Leo's glance, anytime dude.

Ha! Leo saw that! And she doesn't have fur to hide behind now. He saw that. He knows he did that. And yeah... maybe there had been a bit of playfulness about that aye aye. Actually... he's kind of proud of making her blush with that one! And has maybe the baaarest hint of a smirk about it.

The injury to his carapace is old, and actually much smaller than it originally started out. It has healed a lot! It is still very noticeable though, and if you didn't know how large it had been to begin with, it might still be somewhat distressing to see. He is pretty well over that time thanks to the Ancient One, but he still sighs softly at Duncan's question. Though there is a brief smile at Addy's peck to his cheek.

"It used to, a long time ago. It doesn't hurt anymore though." Well... not usually. If something hit it just right, it was definitely noticeable.

Even as he answers Duncan's questions, he's eager to get started! Ready to do what Addy wants done so they can get going!

Though, maybe a little attempt at distraction can't go wrong! Leo squeezed Duncan's foot playfully. "You are getting heavy!" Not really, since Leo can carry a brother if he has to, but definitely a noticeable difference! And that was good. The kid was starting to look healthy! He still had a bit of a string bean thing going on though.

Hopefully it worked! Hopefully Leo doesn't have to explain any more. On the other hand... this is Don's offspring. And Leo knows that in this sort of situation, Don would not distract easily.

" And nice use of the word carapace lil man -" Leonardo chuckles rubbing the little head and nodding to Addy, he got it - and he sensed Leo wanted to distract away from shell chatter for the little guy so when the topic moves to the kid's slight increase in weight he grins, " yeah bud you might be big as Raphael one day...." getting a smack on the back of the shell for that. And well he'd prefer to say as tall as Donatello but it was easier to use Raphael as the example.

Addy sniggers and oooh she enjoyed that sort of smirk, and yep Duncan is sort of aware of the change from talking about the old injury he was close to and being bigger, his eyes going wide and grinning at Leo, then Leonardo, " me? hebby? lie Raffie!" nope he had no forgotten but was thoroughly distracted waving his feet and pressing it into Leo's hand enjoying this! " be dra on one daaaa y biiii iiig! - oh Sish!" and he snuggles his stuffed fish !

Addy having given it too him laughs and winks at Leo as Raphael grunts out an eager [color=#cc0000]" yeah yeah as big as me and bigger short one - lots of veggie eating first - ooooh come on lets go!" [color] and Addy chuckles.

"alright big guys and first mate Leo, lets go wake Sam and Pip and secure everything." eagerly, and playfully brushing her tail over the back of Leo's as they move off so it's a disguised move, slapping the tips lightly together - he was keen to be on the way, back to his brothers she sensed and well maybe like her the urge to sail was under his skin and he's eager to be on the waves as much as her!! With her!! and sweet little Duncan !

It was a matter of waking the two omegas and the group moving from lower deck and back up to secure everything running small checks to make sure there were no holes or leaks or loose boards. And the little windows near the few cannons on the middle deck were in place to be easily pulled down for a fight. And once that was done encouraging the big turtles all up on deck grinning as Leo as she situates him with her at the steering ora whilst Raphael and Leonardo but their bulk to use hauling the anchor up, " will be fantastic to be on the waves again!" there was already tension in the sails and rigging and she and Leo would feel pressure on the rudder through the steering oar, the current in the waters! And as the two big turtles got walked around and around in the wheel like turnstile the anchor core about as thick as Leonardo's bicep and wet the decking as it came up, the place the anchor sat clanged when the huge dripping anchor was back in place.

They were under way! not fast yet... but there!

Leo was amused at the effectiveness of the distraction, and silently thanks the others for the assist.

"Yeah... you'll be a big dragon someday." Actually... that thought was sort of sad. Leo pushes it aside for now though. It was something for another day, another time. And he chuckles softly as Sish is brought into the whole thing.

Addy's brush to his tail is met with a completely undignified sound that's not really a squeak, and not really a churr, but definitely somewhere in the middle. But he'd liked that, and she'd actually caught him off guard with it! And... that was sort of exciting.

Once the ship is secure, and the big guys are bringing up the anchor, Leo is only too happy to be on the steering oar with Addy. Yes, he is eager to get on the ocean. It will take him back to his brothers, but the sailing earlier had sort of gotten under his skin too. That feeling of freedom, and pitting themselves against the ocean. It had been a pretty incredible experience, and he's eager to do it again.

And... someday... he still wants to follow Addy wherever the sea might take them. For now though... he's content to stand at the steering oar with her. And... every once in awhile when he's close enough, there's a sort of soft, churr that could at least be passed off as excited to be on the move again, or a nuzzle.

Leo does laugh softly as they are finally moving. Yes! Very much excited for this!

Addy giggles and winks across to Leo and braces her legs apart, she is still not a hundred percent, and her wounds were shallower than they had been but there was a dribble of blood on the one near her neck crook, but no pus and her ears and eyes are alert and taking in all of Leo's reactions, smiling at him. " there she goes!" she beams knowing they all would feel when the right amount of wind force and the current forces resolved - especially as they passed out of the opening of the cove and the sails billowed and ropes snapped loudly and of she could see his enjoyment.

She shared it, " This is a good day for some sailing, sky is clear and clouds whispy and blowing in the way we need, waters are swelling but the current strong, we will make good headway, we will keep the coast of the island behind us and cross towards the coastline of the desert, if we are lucky we miiight even catch up on your brother Mike and his mob in the desert, as long as they stay along the coastal plain we might see them." she is careful to emphasize the possible words just so as not to get hopes up too much but she felt the prospect might excite them all enough, Leo mostly, but all of them - and it was an important thing to keep in mind. And since Leo had shown such excitement she will teach him some skills to way find.

Almost sensing Leo's sad Duncan is happy to reassure as he snuggles his Sish. " big - not for loooooooooooooooooooong days... dragon.... not for looooooooooooooooong days." trying in his growing vocabularly to explain it would be at the very least a hundred years for him to transition from mutant turtle to the dragon -

well he doesn't yet know unless he has regular access to volcanoes - dragons grow best around such a natural source of heat and fire.

He is the happiest little guy here and feels like he can see everywhere - making Sish swim in the air behind Leo's head and shoulders.

Once the anchor clanks and scraps and rattles into place Raphael braces himself against the weight and Leonardo locks the turnkey into place as Addy showed them to then moves to press the thick rope down and lock the ancho into it's holdings.

It would let Raphael relax but the big guys then had to unlock as the boat go moving and unwind the thick coils or rope to let them pool behind the anchor and ready it for the next time it would be dropped out. then they could move to where Addy needed them next. At the poles to help control the sails. And he is checking on his boat mates, he can't see Raph and Lilo yet but Leo looks in fairly good spirits Sam and Pip and in supervising ranger and helping, and Leo looks happy enough for now and that was good.

It's sort of a bittersweet feeling, and Leo squeezes Duncan's foot again. "I know, Buddy. I know." Dragons have impossibly long lifespans.

Leo has to sort of wonder about his own... He actually has no idea. Will he be around when the kids are old enough to transition into their dragon forms for the rest of their lives, or will be be long since gone? Even if his life isn't cut short prematurely, which he considers highly likely. Don has hinted a couple times that they probably will have a longer natural lifespan than humans do, but there's really now way for them to know.

And Leo will be keeping an eye on that 'not 100%' thing for awhile yet! Probably even after she IS 100%. But at the moment, Addy is beaming, and Leo can't help but give her a bright smile in return! Because this is definitely exciting!

They are really doing it! They're off the island. They're moving! And the fact that this is happening, and he's getting to sail with Addy again is exhilerating!

Like his counterpart, Leo takes a moment every so often to check on the others. So far, all seems alright, and spirits are fairly high now that they're moving. He can only assume that Raph and Lilo are content. Well... He will assume that Raph and Lilo are content. He could check on them astrally, but he won't. He definitely doesn't want to intrude on that. They have to know that the ship is underway by now.

He smiles as Addy mentions that the miiiight be able to catch up with Mike and his lot.

"We'll keep an eye out as we get closer, and I'll let him know next time we check in." Leo is smiling. While Don is the individual he is most worried about, Mike's group is the one he's most worried about. A group full of Donnies and Mikeys... With no alpha or prime beta? Yeah, Leo's worried. Mike has a way of coming through in a pinch though. He might be the omega of their group, but in other circumstances...? Well, Leo has a feeling Mike would be flexible and capable. And it would definitely be nice to have a brother with him again.

Something hit Leo in the face. Something... not quite sticky, but not quite slimy... and definitely not seawater salty... and... when he realizes what it feels like... There's a soft... shuddered "ooohhhh..." Breathe...

Breathe, don't kill the small, red wearing turtle... Oh... god... grooosssss...

Moving the boom was easy for a turtle Raphael's size and strength - and even he - still new to this was...finding the whole sailing thing, fun - not at the same level of excitement plastered all over Leo's face but alsmoooo -

"bwhahahahaha - hey Leo ya a true seman now - it really becums ya!" a loud bellow and taunt.

Leonardo was actually taking by surprise at the sudden bellow shattering the rather serene feel of the beginning of the sail. Any one but a Leo would have missed the suddenness of the turn from pulling the ropes adjusting the sail top to catch the winds and make their trek faster - the alert blue of the eyes - but his brother was laughing... why?

He turns to Look and snorts before he could master his face and cools his features into an oooh nooo sort of look - but is not quiet able to help himself. " Well I here salt water can be harsh so probably a good idea to have a cream regime."

Bwhahahaha Raphael bellows a bit more having expected Leonardo to tell him to shut up. But there was a bawdy playful brotherly sort of feel about the moment and the big red beast was enjoying it!

Duncan excitedly was in the middle of an. " and our bonded loooooooooongs days toooo loooooong dayyyyys... wassat?" not sure really what he meant yet he was not big enough yet to have a rider and form a bond with them that would allow some of his life force to leak into them, making them survive as long as he does. Unless a battel takes them. And if not even longer if he himself is taken. None of that he knows or understands fully - broken out of those thoughts by the... what? and luckily none was on him.

Some unsure hahahaha's at the laughter of Raffal -

Addy had been grinning, she was pleased to see that light of determined delight in Leo's eyes again, be stymied on the islands beautiful and dangerous as they were had been in the way of his journey to find his brothers, they were back on that path now. She'd opened her mouth to rather flirtatious offer a place in the captains cabin more full time for the rest of the trip - though she sensed it would be the case anyways, any cahance for a bit of flirtations, and curious about Duncan's words - both got lost even when her mouth fell open -

And she is managing not to laugh as she uses a rope to keep the steerage in place and hurry to find a cloth with a , " ooooh deeear friendly fire is a hazard on board..." hurrying back and stepping in to carefully begin wiping off the - um catchment.

Oh no, the jokes... she is fighting giggles. And even manages a bit of a mock glare in the direction of the others - at least Sam and Pip manage not to throw around jokes so freely.

There is a look if sheer disgust on Leo's face, and he fixes a glare at Raphael first. Then Leonardo. But at the moment, that's all he does. He has a job to do, and he will do it.

However, Leo is a firm believer in revenge served cold. An opportunity will present itself, and he will take advantage.

He appreciates the assist from Addy, and keeps the steering oar still while she removes the offending substance from his person. And maybe sort of enjoying watching her...

When she is finished, Leo speaks again. His tone during the question is just a liiittle too sweet and innocent.

"Addy, what's the most horrible, disgusting job on the boat?"

Because Leo knows who's doing it next!

" Leonardo - swab the deck! Raphael you will need to clearthe latrine chute out then join Leonardo, Sam andPip will show yous how to tie down those ropes - chop chop!" fighting a grin when the big guys nawwwwww but follow directions. Sure swabbing the deck was smelly the tar had to be melted over the brazzier's coals and spread as thinly as possible but over as much as the wood as possible to protect it from erosion and salt and sea effects. And well the latrine was the slightly more gross job but wouldn't last long - but considering a big turtle like Raphael had to figure out how to fit in the small room and do that with the long dried vines brush to scrub the poop schute clear... well...

She only moves back across from Leo once their moving. " there will be plenty of swabbing for Raph to join in on." she giggles at him.

Duncan has learned a new word -" foooo ammmmm! foooooooam!"
