Usagi noted the missing members he is pretty sure should be with this group. He foes not comment on it though. There is a slight frown though he is sad for this helpful group. They deserved better than this.

He bowed to the group, and did shake hands with the elder.

"I believe it is safe to say that we are all caught up in this mess. One way or another." Oh, the senselessness of this whole mess.

"I would like to introduce you all to my friend Splinter. He is a former Battle Nexus Champion. We are trying to catch up with his sons after they were separated. One of them is the current Champion, and hopefully they can help us put things back as they should be." While the part about Splinter and Michelangelo's Battle Nexus Championships wasn't strictly necessary, Usagi is hoping that it might give this group hope that those building against Draco actually have a chance.

Splinter will politely wait, eyes traveling the group, listening, ears drooping a little, he didn't have to know these people previously to know they lost some folks, and that they were on this road because of those losses, so he is respectful when he agrees to the messy situation sentiments. " It is always a mess that those making the power grabs won't have to clean up after, though a true leader will want to... we hope we can help reestablish Daimyo."

Hope they can help their old friend as much as possible.

He does see the hope bolstering and tried to add to it. What they can he makes no promises but the hopeful expressions were a feel good boost and -

eeeeep! a muffled surprised sound when he and Usagi are swept into the Eisbebers chieftess's arms and snuggled.


" ooooh we was hoping for a sign, something like that! just... something to hope for!" and they had been, even if it's just a hope, something to keep dragging their butts along and try to rebuild in a safer spot!

Usagi is grateful to see some hope coming back to his Eisbeber friends. It has been a rough road for many in the Nexus of late, and the longer Draco remains in power, the worse it will get.

And if the Drake is allowed any more of a foothold than he already has, they may never be able to remove him, and that would be a dark day indeed.

For once, Usagi is less surprised than Splinter. He has known these Eisbebers for some time, and while they are not normally quite this demonstrative, he knows what this sort of news would mean to them, and many like them throughout the Nexus. Even this small hope that someone might actually be able to do something about Draco would be incredibly welcomed.

He hugs the elder back warmly, and chuckles softly at Splinter's surprise. Only once they're free of the hug will be continue the conversation.

"Toward that end, I was wondering if you knew anything of the road ahead?" He gestures semi vaguely in the direction they are heading. It would be nice to know if there is anything they should see to on the way, or anything they should avoid.

The ice beavers had hope! And those were not the only hugs to get.

But still nervous at Usagis question and insisted of getting off the road to talk, hide among the foliage and here Splinter and Usagi will be offered a more water proof baggy to carry their books and scrolls and a scroll that was a compendium of the languages if they needed to translate some bits.

Most folks now wrote and spoke the trading tongue known throughout Nexus, but it might help with some of the older writings they have.

And the pair are told Drake forces and snake, hound, lizard and reptile types that move along this road, less frequently but now and then and actively search parties found there looking for genio innocou.

And trying to drive anyone loyal to Daiyo away. But it's the safer road and usually like now they can get off the road and hide!

USagi is very grateful to the Ice Beavers for the supplies! Especially the protection for the books. Though he is certain the compendium will be helpful too. Especially when they actually get more of a chance to really go through the books.

He even encourages the Beavers to let Splinter help hide the group as he knows Splinter is very, very good at it. A ninja quality that Usagi still occasionally struggles to embrace, though he is quickly learning that it does have its place, and can be used honorably. Perhaps his friend can teach this group a few tricks that will help them stay safe from others on the road.

They do not have much on them at the moment, but perhaps a couple of quick lessons from Splinter could be a worthy trade for the help they've gotten.

"Thank you, My friends." Usagi spoke gently. "We must continue on our way to find Splinter's sons, but if you are traveling that direction we would welcome the company." And knowing what he does about Splinter and his family, "There are many ways to fight without participating in battle."

And Usagi and Splinter would be around to help protect the group. Though they probably have another destination in mind, he does believe that their skills could be useful in the days ahead.

There is a general eagerness of the Eisbibers eagerly pulled out maps to show Usagi and Splinter which direction they were going. The leader talking softly. " We are pretending to hurry off to reach the thin land bridge to the desert lands, and will be sending the young old, and infirm that way the rest of us, we heard that the Fuilcré and a few other types are gathering in their great herds in the lower valley and Araluen surroundings to fight so those of us who can want to head that way, is that where your sons will go?"hopefully, yeah they would like to travel with well-known and honorable Usagi.

Also trusting a friend of his would be a friend to them too!

Splinter managed a relaxed grin, he liked these kind giving people. " I thiiiink the gathering is the oing of ... one of my sons so yes that way and staying with you all as you travel will be going the right way." in truth a bit relieved. Yes mostly as in a group they might go somewhat unnoticed, and also they can help these folk!

Usgi is very glad to hear that this group seems to be heading in the same direction that they are! And that they were already sort of in search of the group that some of the turtles have gotten together!

He will be very happy to travel with this group, and agrees with the first order of business getting the elderly, the young and the infirm to a place of safety. Then those who can, heading to join the group of fighters.

Traveling with the group accomplishes a couple of things. First it is a good way to avoid attention, and second, he can help make sure their fellow travelers arrive at their destinations safely.

Yes, traveling together will be good.

Usagi makes note of the maps they are shown, and adds in a little information that he has heard lately about some of the area. It's mostly rumors, but rumors that he is pretty sure have some truth to them.

The Eisbibers were more than happy to have a champion and competitors and friend with them.

And of course as their prone to do when delighted by something they insist on making pie!

So whilst something sweet is cooking and smelling fantastic in a fire 'oven' splinter and Usagi also have eyes to watch over them if they meditate and Splinter does when they can first to relax and recharge and then later to check in on his sons!

Inviting his friend to join him, both in the relaxing and recharging, as well as the visiting and checking in!

It's a safe spot to stop and rest. Well, at least as safe as anywhere. Though Usagi is sure he and Splinter are both ready to hide should the need arise, it is a good camp.

He does settle near his friend. It's been awhile since they've had this sort of chance to relax, recharge and check in with the others.

If any of the turtles are even in a position to return their reach.

Leo felt the brush from Splinter and Usagi. Oh, he could sure use a moment with his father, and Usagi too.

It's been a rougher day than Leo will admit to anyone here.

His father though? Yes. And even Usagi, who is a little more separated from the situation, is a safe place.

Someone he can express his worries to. He is thrilled to have all his brothers back! They're together, and all alive and well. And that's amazing!

But one of them isn't the same. Leo has Donnie back. He's healthy, and vibrant in a way Leo hasn't seen in far too long!  But at the same time... Leo misses Don. Misses the 16 year old he's grown with these past three years. Leo misses Don almost as much as Liam does.

So he greets Master Splinter and Usagi gratefully.

"Father! Usagi! I am so glad to see you."

The Eiserbers are busy.

Splinter relaxes, they can trust these people. Usagi trusts them so he does to, wholly to watch and listen.

On some level Splinter will always be aware of his surrounding and possible people coming over.... Still he is relieved for the extra eyes and ears.

And more relieved when he feels Leo join them.

" it is a relief and a delight to see and feel your presence my son, you feel both well but also a little weighted down."

He does he hopes take Leo by surprise by initiating a astral embrace, and open on Usagi can join too if their friend feels it is appropriate to and Leo certainly feels like he could use a little of his and his buddies comfort.

Leo is surprised by the astral embrace, which Usagi did join in when it became clear that Leo was not going to let it end that easily. No, it is a much needed embrace. Not that things are terrible, far from it, but yes...

Weighed down.

When Leo does release the embrace, he's quiet for a moment. Long enough that Usagi prods gently.

"Have you reached your brothers yet, Leonardo-san?" He asked gently.

The breath that Leo took had Usagi somewhat confused. It wasn't enough that he felt there was true concern, but something was bothering his friend.

"We're together now. We just caught up with Raphie's group, and we reached Donnie's group yesterday."

"...And are they well?" More gentle prodding.

There's another of those strange breaths, but this time, it's more of a report.

"We had a couple of injuries. The larger turtle's Donatello was injured in the battle when we reached Donnie, as was the Mikey traveling with him. Though Mikey seems to have recovered, and Donatello is recovering well too. Something is going on with Raphie's Lee." That is still weird. Very weird that his brother is with one of Leo's own counterparts. There's clearly more, and this time Usagi lets Leo have the time he needs to finish his report.

"And... Donnie's 13. Like... actually 13. Like... he doesn't remember the past few years 13. He's healthy though! He's fine. He's just... really little." There. It's out. He said it. The last contact had already shared the fact that Donne has picked up some sort of fae magics, so Splinter and Usagi would already know that. This is what's new.

Splinter does not mind the embrace lingering and he relishes with a happy purr Usagi joining them. Just letting it be something to anchor them all! And ooooh it was needed.

There would be more when they find them physically!

When it fades he takes a listening role. A relieved sigh and tail coil, a pat to Leo's shoulder. " Yous always did find each other, I have not yet successfully reached the other Splinters but I think when we are together I may have enough to breach the divide to at least be able to tell the other father's their sons are all okay... Maybe in their dreams. Though I also debate doing that as I don't know just hooow okay they will be when our adventure concludes." but he still wanted to try.

He is very pleased all of the brothers, his sons and the interdimensional sons have found each other. They are after all stronger together. " As long as all are on the mend and we can hope for Lee it's not too serious a condition, the being together hopefully will help." a little worried for Raphie's Lee. And yeeeep that is a little strange.

The other bit. Well...

Splinter is younger and stronger once again too. Still he does share with Leo the same... feelings of something on the matter...

So he takes a deep breath, it lacks the hum of his older aged self but there is a thoughtful sound and he draws Leo back in for a hug again rubbing his head. " It is okay Leonardo, to mourn the brother that was and still be ever grateful for the younger healthier brother that is. I feel it too." being honest, because his sons all needed to know it was more than okay to feel both elated by Donatello's returned youth and vigor whilst feeling grief over the Donatello that had been there even if not at his full health and vitality. He will let that hug fall away naturally too. And a thought occurs. " Michelangelo is pretty flexible with it I am guessing, Raphael may need to talk to you about it some time..m how is young Liam handling that?" a smile at Usagi, it was good a young friend was hear to help prod and talk to for Leonardo.

Oh, that hug is much needed, and Leo takes advantage of it while he can.

There's a slight smile about Leo and his brothers always finding each other. That is somehow comforting even though he and his brothers have already found each other this time. It gives him hope for the next time they're inevitable separated.

Leo considered the question of whether to contact the other Splinter's and tell them their sons were okay for now or not.

"Well... would you rather know we were okay for the time being, even if that might change, or continue to wonder?" Because they could probably express that there is still danger while also letting the other Splinters know that their sons were okay at the moment.

And Leo shrugged regarding Lee. He doesn't know what's going on there.

"Mostly, he just seems more tired than he should be." That's really all Leo knows since he hadn't really been present for the whole echos comment. Leo is mildly concerned, but not distraught about Lee at the moment.

Leo frowns slightly before telling the next story.

"This morning, when Donnie woke up, he was disoriented, and clawed me pretty good. The other Donatellos got it stitched up, but I over did it when we were getting Raphie back. They gave me some of Donnie's blood. He's okay, just tired."

"Did you pick up any new traits from it?" Usagi is mostly curious. He knows a bit more about the Nexus, including al ittle information about the various magical creatures, but he's not sure how the magics that Donnie seems to have picked up actually work.

Leo shook his head. "None that I've noticed. Well... the cuts are healing much faster than they normally would." And possibly most importantly, he still feels the same age he was yesterday.

There is a long moment while Leo considers what Splinter has said about mourning Don while being grateful to have Donnie.

"How do we express that without making Donnie feel like he's not enough?" It's an honest question. He desperately wants the answer to that one! Because he's grateful to Splinter for telling him that what he feels is okay, but...

How do they mourn Don without huring Donnie? Because Leo knows his brother, regardless of his age. And his now little brother will struggle with this.

Leo nods at Splinter's assessment of his brothers. Leo feels that his father is absolutely correct. Mike seems to be very flexible about this. Handling it probably better than the rest of them will. And Leo has no doubt that Raphie will need help processing this.

There is a sigh as Solinter asks about Liam.

"He wouldn't eat when we first caught up to them, but he did eventually. I think he's... handling this about as well as could be expected. He misses Don, but being with his brothers helps. And being with Donnie, and the rest of us seems to help." It's not perfect, but... it's something.

Leo goes on to explain how Donnie had been stuck as a dragon when they'd finally reached him, and how they had gone into Liam's memories to learn how to get Donnie back to his turtle form. It had worked! And had the added bonus of pulling free some of Don's memories of Liam. So Donnie at least recognized the boy, even if the memories were confusing for his little brother. Leo hopes that those memories will help Liam too. At the very least, Donnie seems protective of Liam.

Splinter has a moment of thought over the other Splinters whilst in the hug, and once it has passed again he nods and its a silent sort of agreement to himself and Leonardo's reminder. " If it were I, I would appreciate the heads up, even if it comes with worrying earnings too." after all when his sons had been taken by the tribunal he tracked down his old friend the Ancient One and then tracked down his sons to be close to support them.

So yeah when he has the bolstering and closeness of all the interdimensional sons too it will be time to reach out to the two dad's so far out of the loop.

He smiles a bit sadly at Leo's concern. It is one of his own too. " I guess we do our best to accept Donnie as he is and show him we don't expect the old him, just miss him, whilst loving the new him. It is sort of and Michelangelo Approach I know." a bit amused but that but also. Well maybe in this way Michelangelo might be the example to follow. The go with the flow kinda way.

He cannot comment on Lee, doesn't know what to think of it to be honest. And probably won't until close enough to get a sense of this other Leenardo and what might be ailing him.

The news on Liam makes him nod a bit. Like Donatello this would be a trying time for the youngster. " He is like you I have heard, I expect he will be okay in time and model acceptance behaviour on you and his other dad's." he hopes anyways.

And a thoughtful look at Usagi, " I think the road we are on slowly winds its way towards the water ways so hopefully we can find you all somewhere there and meet up we are travelling with very friendly people.. Forgive me forgot their kinda name?" and he is eager to be with his sons and those grandsons!

Leo grins when Splinter admits that he'd want to know his sons were okay, even for the time being.

"Spoken like the rat who chased us half way around the world, then across dimensions when he thought we were in danger." Amused! Of course Splinter would want to know! And would do everything he could to follow them.

Leo looks a little concerned about using a Michelangelo approach, though when Splinter explained it, it did sort of make sense that it should work.

"You... really think that will work?" Leo asked regarding Donnie. Maybe equal parts hesitant, dubious and hopeful.

Leo might not realize that a 13 year old Donnie who hasn't had his confidence built and shattered as often as a 16 year old Don has would be more pliable, and less likely to overthink his brothers' motives if they are honest about what Splinter has just suggested. A 13yo Donnie - especially an overwhelmed one like Donnie is now - will do well with Splinter's suggestion. Even if Leo isn't sure because he knows his 16yo brother would overthink and question more.

While Leo was hesitant about the suggestion for dealing with Donnie, is he much. more accepting of the suggestion for Liam. Absolute trust that Splinter is right on this one. He will do his best to follow both suggestions, but feels more sure of this one.

"It sounds like the largest, most organized herd is the Fuilcré" Usagi reminded Splinter. It was a different sort of word than Splinter would be familiar with.

"I think the Fuilcré came up in one of our group meditations earlier.  Part of the army Lee was trying to put together." Which was good! That would be a good place for them to meet up!

"Lee has some sort of plan to take down the slave trade here in the Nexus, and I believe that is our next stop... unless something serious is going on with Lee."

It was a short contact, but it is enough. Leo feels at least a little better, having spoken to Master Splinter. And maybe even feeling a little more sure of using Mikey tactics for dealing with Donnie.

Splinter grunts in a serious way, but inwardly he is pleased and touched that Leonardo and no doubt his brothers recognised the effort and how much they were loved and how much Splinter had worried for them to go to such lengths, he is worried now a bit reminded of this just how much the other Splinters would be concerned and what they were doing because of it. And as he is feeling that, all three of them would probably feel the unfamiliar but familiar sensation of a different Splinter, one more... gone and reaching from an entirely different plane of existence not just across dimensions reaching for them, brushing. Allowed this moment because his sons were close and in physical contact with Leo and his brothers.

Splinty waits for the three to reach back -

Splinter does immediately, " I think one is reaching out to us already..." because of course one would and encase his son and almost son Usagi didn't recognise the touch he alerts them so they can decide to allow the contact or not.

As he waits he shrugs a little, " I can't be certain such an approach will work, however, it is one of the better ones, as Michelangelo is readily accepting of both who your brother was and the loss of him, and who your brother now is and the new but familiar and known to you person he was and will be. It's a strange new venture for us all." and for now it's the best they can all be expected to do with this unforeseen circumstance they have found themselves in. " I hope the larger Donatello doesn't blame himself for this, as he probably does and will hurt for the Donnie he knew as much as us. And we will just have to help Liam along with his process as best we can, lead by example."

Yep not an easy fix for any of them, Donnie included, but Splinter hopes by showing they are accepting and loving it will go okay.

Or as best as they can hope for.

Splinty waits patiently.

Of course Leo and his brothers knew their father would follow them! And Leo actually does remember a journey to see the Ancient One, so knows what all his father went through!

Leo also feels the brush of a Splinter gone. Though at first he hadn't recognized what it was until Splinter pointed it out. Being in physical contact with this other Splinter's sons, Leo does what he can to open pathways, and he accepts assistance offered by Usagi.

The physical contact that Leo has with this other Splinter's sons, Leo hopes will also allow this Master Splinter to offer his own sons comfort as they rest.

Leo sighs as Splinter admits he doesn't know if the tactic will work, though it does seem like the best possible option.

"And I sort of doubt that there's anyone out there we could ask..." It seems a decidedly unique situation. And... Splinter's right. All they can do is accept what they can, mourn what they've lost, while making sure Donnie knows that they love him as he is. Just as Mike does naturally. Just as they can only do their best to love Liam and help him through. "Donnie seems to be protective of Liam, and seems to care for him. And even remembers him, sort of... after when we touched Liam's mind to learn how to get Donnie out of his dragon form."

Leo sighs at the discussion of Donatello.

"He does. Of course he does. He's a Donatello." Leo is sort of sadly amused by this. "I spoke with him once so far. I made sure he knew that I'm grateful that he brought Donnie back to us, regardless of the state he's in. And... Father, seeing Donnie actually playing and curious! It's been so long. But Donnie was still stuck as a dragon then. And... seeing him in his turtle form hit me hard. He's so small... You don't notice it in his dragon form as much. I'd guess it would hit Donatello hard too." Leo makes a mental note to check in with Donatello sometime... probably tomorrow.

He also needs to see what was bothering Leonardo so during their last meditation session. The bigger turtle hadn't said at the time, they were busy, and... well... with the crazy of the last day, Leo hadn't been in any condition to pursue that discussion.

Splinter smiles, nods, yes of course his son's knew him well and as long as the youths are eager and they seem to be he opens up the communication for the other Splinty to settle with them.

And is a little taken aback by the slow appearance of his counterpart, a tall rat, brown furreds with some black and white on his stern looking face who bows to him, Usagi and then Leonardo in that order of age by the looks of it and then kneels.

As he does Splinter was think over Leo's words. And his own. [color#CD853F]" it is good you recognised the issue with Donatello, just be sure to remind him of your discussion when you can, especially as he probably too has just been reminded how much younger and smaller our Donnie is now that he is no longer a dragon. Hello Hamato Splinter."[/color]

The other, ghostly see through at the beginning now had a little substance to the form that knelt there, " Splinterson Splinter, Leonardo and Miyamoto Usagi, I am pleased to meet you all."

Leo nods, accepting the information. He will make a point to talk to Donatello again sometime soon. Hopefully sometime later today or tomorrow morning. Don never did well when reminded of perceived failures either. Even if those perceived failures were entirely in his own head.

As the ghostly Splinter takes form in their session, Leo cocks his head slightly. Vaguely recognizing this other Splinter. There had been no formal introductions at the time, but Leo had seen him once before.

Briefly, when Don had been his focus, and Leo himself had been exhausted.

Leo bows and greets this ghostly Splinter very properly.  As does Usagi, giving this other Master Splinter the same respect that he would show the one he is familiar with.

"I recognize you." Leo doesn't remember a whole lot about the beginning of that contact, at least not until Raphie and Mike had helped replenish Leo's energy reserves.

...Though he could have done without remembering what exactly Raphie had replenished those reserves with in the company of Usagi, their father, and the father of the guy that stirred those feelings in Raphie. But Leo does a fair job of keeping this to himself.

"You were there helping Don before we could get to him. Thank you." And another bow, this time of thanks.

Splinty settles and smiles at Leo, " You are welcome, and I am glad you and your Donatello appear well." and he is relieved visibly to see Leo is here and well and is not put out at all that Lee is not here, content to greet these new friends.

Splinter is as thankful and simply bows his head briefly at Splinty's response. Not repeating the thanks as it is pretty much accepted especially now more face to face as it were with the spirit that they the Splinters of all the turtles out there would do whatever they could no matter how large or small it was to help another's adopted sons. Or daughters if that were the case.

Instead once finished the understanding head nodded bow he smiles and asks, " So we were meeting here to catch up and ponder being in touch with the other Splinters, can we reach them? Can you help?" absolutely assuming this Splinty would help of course so asking if he could.

Splinty smiles at Usagi but the question makes him hummm it's something these two Splinters both do in thoughtfulness and wonderingly, before he slowly nods. " It will be however I suspect you will need the other spiritually strongest of the separate turtles to help drive the connection to their fathers, and probably have all the sons in touch to briefly make contact with Splinters left behind on their world." his voice watery as he speaks cause he is doing so from a long way away![/color]

"We are, thank you." Leo responded. Sure, mixed feelings on Donnie, how could he not feel that way? But yes, they are well. And that's really the important thing.

Usagi, like Leo, is amused by the hum shared by both of these Splinters. The similarities and differences between the dimensions are interesting.

Leo chuckles softly at the suggesting that having the most spiritual of each group to drive the connection to the other Splinters.

"I think we can probably manage that."

Leo is already in at least physical contact with both Leonardo and Leon. Leo has seen Leon's avatar, but not those of his brothers, so aside from him being the Leonardo of the group, it seems a safe bet.

He reaches out to that contact from his larger, older counterpart, gently drawing him in, and Leon too if he can reach him. Leo is more than capable of at least guiding them into this contact. And they're all in contact with their brothers.

Splinty grins, "Thank you, I want to wake and disturb all my sons, but not right now, if Leenardo is not able Mikey Angelo is as capable if harder to keep focused... I don't know what I am feeling off of Leenardo right now through you... Should. Be worried?" He tells Leonardo gently encase the guy is not comfortable with whatever that feeling is, that is coming off of Lee... Well he will trust these folks with that.

A grin at Usagi, " I didn't have the pleasure of meeting our dimensions Usagi, however my sons spoke very highly of him, his skills and dedication and that he helped them through a tough time so I trust that it is honorable traits shared with you."

Splinter nods and waits for Leo to decide on that matter as Leonardo consent to join them and literally fills the space with his presence, a shiver unsure but eager to learn Leon followed!. " I can very much attest to our great friends honour and strength of character and skills." a smile for their friend.

Leo did take the suggestion to encourage Mikey to join them in the astral plane. Not because he thought Lee couldn't do it, but because he made the judgement call to let his counterpart get the rest that he so clearly needed.

"I'm not sure what's going on with him yet. I know he's been excessively tired, and I think he threw up earlier. The Donatellos seem to think it's some sort of Nexus stomach bug." No one is particularly concerned that he knows of. Just keeping an eye on a brother who has a fairly standard illness. And the fairly standard anxiety over a brother with a fairly standard illness.

Usagi was glad to hear that a counterpart out there in the dimenions was also honorable!

"It is an honor to meet you, Splinty-San."

Leo was grinning at the description of Usagi.

"Usagi is a wonderful friend, and a wise and valued ally. He has fought honorably along side us a few times." Leo added. "We were pitted against each other in the Battle Nexus Tournament, and when I was hit by a poisoned dart from outside the ring during the bout, he not only held off honorably, he helped me to the healers, then saved my life."

"Donatello-San was none to pleased to see me there at first."

"He was being protective." Leo chuckled.

"With good reason." Usagi agreed, with the smile of good friends recalling a shared tale. "I would have been suspicious as well."

"And before that, he had saved Master Splinter from a dishonorable attack outside the ring."

And once Leonardo, Leon and Mikey have arrived, hopefully they can make contact with the other Splinters! At least to let them know their sons are okay for the moment, and working to get home.

Splinty's smile grows, "It seems both versions of you I now have met or heard of are great friends my sons and myself have had the luck of meeting, even if that sometimes starts with overprotective brothers and misunderstandings." chuckling a bit at that with Splinter as Leo and Usagi reminiscent.

He pauses as Leonardo materialises, along with Leonardo whom he has met before and his own Michel Angelo.

Mikey grinning and sort of catching the last words of the talk, " I think our Usagi was older, and he managed not to kill us even though we had been summoned and set on him intentionally by a evil sorcerer Jai... Jay... Jei mmmm one of those pronouncements..." beaming at the rabbit samurai. " definitely as well know among your peers though, the lady rabbit we found and travel with now, who is currently Leon's cotton tail has heard of you." added bonus was making said Leon blush and squirm and almost lose his sort of shimmery pudgy my little pony pegacorn avatar. Mike's own sparked in and out of visual focus here as if small lightning bolts lite randomly and briefly and brightly throughout the body of the kitsune foxy avatar. And it flicked more when Mikey really understood where he was and why and he shuffles closer to this form of his deceased father to hug him.

Splinter smiles and Splinter softens and hugs his son back. Indeed out there some where were father's of the friendly pudgy turtles and the massive ones missing and worrying for this sons just as much. " Hiiii all we are sorry to disturb any resting but this is a chore that needed doing, we are hoping to reach the other Splinters out there and at least reassure some no doubt worried father's of sons being okay and on their ways home." a nod of thanks to Leo for bringing everyone they needed onboard.

Leonardo oooohs and smiles, " Thanks, that's a wonderful Idea, I know ours will be extremely worried." Leon points at him, sooort of accidentally poking Leo a bit and is nodding, yep that!

"Thank you, Splinty-san." Usagi smiles to this other Splinter. Much like the friend he has known, but quite different at the same time.

It is rather fascinating.

He frowns at Mikey's story.

"Jei is a skilled and dangerous adversary. His soul is black." Clearly someone this Usagi has also had dealings with, though the story that Mikey has mentioned has definitely not happened to this Usagi. "I am sorry that you found yourselves in his control." And it was certainly good of his counterpart to spare the controlled turtles!

Leo is chuckling that Inaba knew Usagi. It seemed that most people they had come across had heard of Usagi!

"It seems that most of the Nexus knows you. And Addy had a warrant you'd signed."

Usagi actually blushed slightly. He was aware that he was fairly well known around the Nexus. Though probably even moreso among the Wilhara. He had rather broken the mold.

"I am well traveled. Though I am afraid that warrant will not be worth much until the Daimyo is properly returned to power." Though those loyal to the Daimyo might still accept it.

Leo smiles slightly as Mikey hugs his father. Glad that Mikey can at least have that. And he has to wonder about Mikey's brothers. Maybe they could benefit from this sort of contact. Hopefully by the time they get to go home, they will all be able to reach this sort of state.

As Mikey is greeting his Splinter, Leo feels Donnie's energy join them... sort of. It's not him exactly. More like they have access to his energy though contact with him. A deep well, like Leonardo, but not as well controlled. Especially in this state where Donnie is resting and not really in control of this contact. It's definitely colored by his new, and not fully controlled dragon and fae attributes.

Leo will do what he can to manage it. Between himself, two Splinters and Leonardo and Mikey they can probably manage it. Though he would like the others to be able to focus on contacting the other Splinters out in the multiverse who have surely been worried about their sons.

Leo and Usagi start to settle, Leo keeping Donnie's energy controlled, but available for now.

Leonardo grins, " Mutants are rare in our world but if we meet a Usagi in any form I hope they are as honorable as you and theirs turned out to be, sounds like an ally we would be fortunate to make friends with."

Mikey grins from Splinty's hold. " I bet it's a she, she is still a honorable warrior and you guys will be lucky to meet and have her as a friend."

Leonardo shrugs, chuckling, " If that happens and your right somehow l we will owe you a pizza." amused! But settling as the others do, focusing with a grin at Usagi.

Mikey also grins his way, " I will hold yous to that, and yeah we are too Usagi, Jei... our Jei when he was losing control tried one last grab to suck Lee back in, making him dream he lost us all, that we all died in front of him. Didn't work and our Jeis soul I think is still sucked into one of dads swords." he couldn't imagine the pain Lee had felt... Even over dream versions of them. Up at his father, " will you stay and give Raph and DonnieBoy some love too?" big puppy eyes and holds tighter for just a few moments before Splinty is encouraging him to straighten up, let go and focus with Leo's direction and the extra strength of Leonardo, his brothers, the collective turtle pile and Donnie.

Splinter chuckles as Splinty nods, " I will I promise, I miss them too a lot, now focus, Leonnardo, Leonardo you two will have to establish the connections, find your father's, lead us, search for the feeling of them, how they smell, and feel and make you feel."

Splinter smiles and gives Donnie an extra bit of astral cuddles, reassuring his now younger son he is here.

Leo and Usagi are rather amused by this back and forth between Mikey and Leonardo. And actually... Leo has a feeling that Mikey actually is right, and somewhere connected to Leonardo's dimension there is a female Usagi running around waiting for the right time to meet them.

And a grand ally that would be. Everyone should have an Usagi in their lives.

Usagi frowns slightly at the description of Jei being drawn into the sword. That does seem a good place for his soul to be banished to, but still dangerous.

"I am pleased that you were able to trap him. Please be sure no one spends too much time around that sword..." Usagi warns. "His soul has a way of speaking to those who might be tempted to listen, and telling them what they wish to hear."

Because he is worried about this group of turtles who might have someone too close to Jei's soul to stay out of his grasp!

Leo and Usagi back off, acting more as batteries for Leon and Leonardo as they start trying to contact their fathers.

When Splinter cuddles Donnie's energy, he helps to settle it. It actually makes it easier to control. It's there when they need it, but shouldn't surge unless something changes.

Leon's Splintier is a skilled practitioner of meditation, not unlike Splinty or Splinter. He has been searching for his sons astral fingerprints since they disappeared. He has even considered trying to get in contact with Carter and see if they dimensional portal has been used lately. Though it was unlike his sons to take off though the portal without letting him know.

And they had seemed to be int he middle of other tasks about the lair. MikeyMikey's comic book was dropped open and face down on the floor. Something MikeyMikey would never do to a comic. One of Donno's projects was in a similar state.

So he is skilled and searching. A state that should make him relatively easy to contact.

The smallest Splintor is also trying to find his sons. He has searched the city, and called their police contacts a few times. April, Casey and even Vern have been on the search as well. Nothing.

Splintor has heard about reaching the astral plane, and reaching enlightenment, but he has not truly experienced this. He has learned what he can, but with no true teacher until recently his lessons were New Age attempts at best.

He's not sure the... individual that Leonardo put him in contact with to help him learn more about meditation is... entirely sane. They are definitely not sober as often as Splintor would like... But he has been trying some of the techniques he was taught. Mostly out of desperation to find his sons.

Though he is very suspicious of the plant they are insisting is beneficial to burn while meditating...

Mikey hums a little, "I honestly have no idea what Lee has done with that particular sword he uses one of his old ones and one of father's, but that sword vanished and Lee doesn't speak of where he hid it. Probably in his magic pockets some where but if so I have never found it in there..."

Whispering and then looking sheepish as his father's tail top pokes him and makes him sit up straighter and pay attention, focus harder and help Leo and Leonardo search.

Leonardo just listens and focus and smiles as there is a fluttering flying zooming sensation and then that familiar sensation, if a bit warped through a haze. Of something? He doesn't know what!

" Dad!" the big blue wearing turtle will gleefully delight when he and his father are draw into this space of no space, and he the smallest Splinter is scooped up astral body to astral body by the biggest Leonardo and hugged tightly!

Leon meanwhile sort of expected the sensations and when his father joins them he is as happy with a shout of glee jostling his dad in a hug too!!

Splinty and Splinter will chuckle both waiting for the moment to pass and let the other Splinters gather their senses before greeting and explaining.

Usagi considers that information from Mikey then nods.

"I suppose so long as your family is paying attention to your brother's behavior, that it is likely safe enough..." Some concern, but he does trust the turtles that he knows and what little he has perceived from these other groups seems good as well.

Leo and Usagi are both quietly amused as Mikey needs a reminder to pay attention. Not enough to giggle or anything, just a slight, brotherly amused awareness.

Though Splintor had not reached the astral plane on his own, even with the assistance of the strange plant, he had managed to at least be open to it! And he is startled as he is ripped from his home plane into the astral one! Then thrilled to discover it was none other than Leonardo who had pulled him there!

He has not yet noticed the help his son has around him. Limbs sprawled and sticking out in all directions until Leonardo releases him!

"It is good to see you too, Leonardo!" Maybe slightly slurred through the haze of the plant intended to help him reach this plane.

It will take him another moment to find his senses and settle into the astral plane. Mostly because he has never reached this state before, and only partially due to the nature of the 'assist' he had used.

Leo takes just a moment, and uses a little energy to help stabilize Splintor through Leonardo.

Splintier, once Hamato Yoshi, is a much more skilled practitioner of meditation, and he recovers from his son's hug much more quickly! Though the fact that Leon was considerable smaller in relation to himself than Leonardo was to his own Splintor likely helped as well.

"I had hoped you'd find a way to reach me. Are your brothers alright?" Splintier hugs Leon for a moment then looks over at the other Splinters, Leonardos and a Michelangelo.

"I see you found some help in making contact." He commented as he released Leon, silently encouraging his son to introduce his new friends.

And noticing the final Splintor seemed to be struggling a little, though Leo was offering a little assistance through Leonardo, it was likely that a counterpart would be able to help more than an interdimensional son. Splintier adds his own energy and guidance to helping his struggling counterpart. He could tell the guy was trying very hard, just had limited training.

As Mikey concentrates, at first looking like he was perhaps squeezing a fart, whether in or out is up to imagination. Splinty had whispered to Usagi. " On my visits I have not felt the fellow spirit at all, not a whisper. I have a feeling my Leenardo has disposed the sword somewhere in his New York City, there is no lack of capable furnaces in a city like that, or maybe at the farmhouse of our April's family, there was a mountain close there with a boiling lake inside
." he reassures the good friend to Leonardo Splinterson. Just gently cause yeah he haunted his kids a lot, and had felt the evil vile spirit a few times. Knew Lee had nightmares for a time. Then it was gone and Lee sleeping better.

Amusement, a soft chuckle as Leonardo squeezes his father.

Leon is gathering himself as Splinter is also smothering a chuckle, and is glad Splinty efforts to add to reassuring that that particular evil Jei was handled. Or at least somewhere inaccessible and or destroyed.

Both Splinter and Splinty are adding what they can to help stabilise the smaller Splintor.

Leonardo nodded, for a moment just overwhelmed with glee to be able to contact his father even if he knew they would be able to with all the help around them. And giving Leon a moment to introduce people, but nodding at his dad and grinning. Yes is is good to make this contact! Setting the astral form down carefully and straightening his astral robe.

Leon nods from the hugs only drawing back to answer, and pretty sure the out loud noting of his company was a poke much like Splinty's one to get Mikey to focus was a poke for him to make introductions, and Leonardo was leaving that to him too he notes so he nods, grins and clears his throat, not so quick on the uptake as to why Splintor felt and sounded like he was coming through to them underwater. But not asking just yet. " Oh yes father, my brother's are well, resting now and we have been apart for a long but are together again now, part in thanks to our interdenominational brothers whom you have met briefly before, The Splintersons like Leonnardo there, that is their close friend Miyamoto Usagi, big Ol'Leonardo O'Neill there, and an Hamato Mikey you have met before in place of his brother Leenardo." he gestures but leaves it to the sons of each Splinter to introduce them to each other, starting with his own. " Everyone those whom have met him before and those that haven't my father Splintier, Yoshi Hamato."

Usagi gives Splinty a slight bow of thanks for that assurance that the sword had been properly dealt with. It was reassuring to hear that this Splinty couldn't sense the spirit. If that was the case, the sword had likely been dealt with well.

At least for now. Jei has a nasty way of returning.

Splintor is settling with the assistance from the group. He learns quickly, especially from counterparts so similar to himself. Much of what works for them will also work for him, and he can mimic their process fairly well. Their energy, along with Leonardo's does help stabilize him!

"I am not sure about your 'friend' Wyric that you introduced me to... I feel very strange." Though the guy's methods had been part of what got him to a point where he was able to access the astral plane through his counterparts. Though that might have been more Leonardo and the other Splinters here.

"And what of your brothers?"

It is sort of gasped out as Leonardo finally releases him. He is thrilled to see Leonardo safe and seemingly well, but he is still worried about the others!

He is quiet as Leon makes introductions. Listening quietly, even if he is having a little trouble focusing on a conversation. Luckily he shouldn't have any problems remembering first names at least!

"Of course, I do remember some of you." Splintier greeted Leo and Mikey warmly. "Some I do not recognize. There are so many of you. How did this happen?" Rather thrilled to see this.

He bows politely to his counterparts and the turtles present in the contact. Glad to meet them or see them again in some cases.

Splintor also makes an attempt to bow to the group, but he is not as practiced in the motion or the astral connection. Learning though! It's getting better! Other than wanting to know whether or not his sons are okay, he will mostly be somewhat quiet as he learns more about how to interact with the astral plane. He sticks close to Leonardo.

"I'm afraid that's sort of our fault." Leo supplied in response to Splintier's question. Report to Splinter time. Hey, it's what he does. And even though he and his brothers didn't actually do anythind to cause the various turtles to be pulled to the Nexus, he still feels respnsible.

"As best we can tell, an entity within the Nexus tried to bring my brothers and I here. Possibly because they thought we would help fight Draco who is trying to take over from the Daimyo. Instead, they brought several groups of turtles from similar dimensions. We were separated and traveling in small, mixed groups, and we finally all reached each other today. Except for Master Splinter and Usagi. We're going to have to meet up with them next. At the moment, everyone is okay. Some small injuries and maybe one illness for Lee, but it doesn't seem that bad, and the Donatellos are doing what they can." Honestly not sure what's going on there.

There's clear relief on Splintor's and Splinter's faces hearing that at least for the moment, all turtles are accounted for.

Leonardo can't help but chuckle and sits proudly beside his dad, " Wryic? Sorry Dad should have warned you that though his methods are helpful for the first few times, I discovered by accident mostly, he is a firm believer in herbal help to get into his spiritual states." okay sort of admitting his own practices in early times had indeed been herbal helped. He has grown past it but weed was not the only drug Leonardo has tried with Wyric.

He grins at the introductions and now answers Splintor's question. " Their with me and safe father, when this part of the catch up has concluded I will try rousing them to say hi too... and ummm we will have a few things to tell you." like Donatello being married and having adopted a tiny dragon child.

And that he, and Raphael had been actively trying to spread the Mutant Turtle species at least in half hybrids... and currently are sharing a single female since most on board the ship were sort of or absolutely with a special turtle. Michelangelo, Big M, for once seems to have been the most well behaved of the brothers! Hah! So whilst his tone his reassuring that his brothers are well it is critic in that he fully intends to tell but when he gets his brothers to say hi too.

Splinter is getting the same sort of less cryptic sort of excitedly said, " we may not have been the turtles the spell castor was after but boy am I glad to be a part of the ones that came, cause we have had an adventure - so much to tell... promise we will when after this part I too will pull brothers in to say hi dad, promise."

This makes Splinty raise an eyeridge but he is amused and like Splinter is for most the part all caught up!

So they are quiet through Leo's report.

Leonardo squeeing a little. " There are even baby turtles, their sooo cute." to his dad. For once absolutely as openly melty as Raphael.

"Verrry firrrm... I'm not convinced Wyric is his real name." Its supposed to be a whisper, but it's much more of a stage whisper than a real one. And perhaps calling into question some of Splintor and Wyric's interactions...

Exactly the sort of thing every son wants to hear about his father.

Leo's attempts at hiding his reaction to the overly loud whispers... would have been passable if the crowd he's in wasn't full of Leonardos and Splnters.

Splintor at least notices nothing.

"Oh good. I very much want to hear about your adventures. And... all these others."

So many counterparts!

Splintier listens to his own son, and appreciates the update. He trusts his Leonardo's assessment and if he's appreciating the adventure, then he and his brothers are likely needed. Though these other counterparts seem supremely capable.

"Seeing your brothers here on this plane would be appreciated. I am very happy that you have finally reached this plane of existence." Something he has been struggling to teach his sons for some time now.

When Leonardo brings up the babies, Splintor is maybe hopeful, maybe not sure if he needs to be a strict parent at this point!

"Who is responsible for these babies?"

Leo's response to that is... definitely there, but at the same time sort of weirdly unreadable.

Leonardo Lolo softly and elbowed his little dad in a playfully respectful sort of way, " Wyric is a lot to get used to, helpful in his own way but a lot. And you are right dad, I have no idea what his real name is but he says his chosen name came to him in a song." weird hippie thing for this sort of friend sort of informant to call himself on a whim of a whim but whatever the guy was useful for stalking. He had a knack for finding people, like old Shredder regime supportive on the run and hiding foot members. Removing obstacles so Karai can secure her place, and thus Leo can eventually secure her and the Foot for his own.

He smiles widely and indicates Leo with a nod of his head, " I would love to claim guardianship of those baby turtle hybrids, and I won't lie it is not from lack of trying myself and Raphael at least may have tried to start our own half hybrid clans... but the honor of being the currently existing hybrids is Leo and his brothers." absolutely he will not hide or try to down play what he and his brother Raphael had been up to as far as locals go.

Mikey pipes up thoughtfully, " it won't work for a while I bet, like when you stick a fish in a new tank you ha E to let it sit in the bag for a while..."

Weird analogy Splinty and Splinter both thought but had a bit of a sigh each at least for now there was not a hoard of hybrid mutant turtles ready to enter the world. Though both had a feeling Leonardo would see to returning and being here to gather his babies and mothers to him. Mikey continued for a moment, " bit of a shame for those already mated and hoping, it's a huuuge honor to be mother to a genio innocou, um one of us turtle beings."

But inwardly Splinter and Splinty both half glance, amused, sharing it with Splintier and at Splintor and figure he probably is relieved it hasn't worked yet. If his own Mikey was right and he sensed he probably was.

Splinty nudges Mikey, " tell us of your story of the journey so far, leave nothing to these father's imagings for now." gentle, best to catch up fully, Leo gave a great full report but a bit of back story than we shall cat h up entirely with all our sons to make dad hearts glad to know sons are safe and well. And have one of us and a good friend too guide them."[/color] to Splinter and Usagi.

Splinter nods and bows back, a silent promise to all the fellow dad's here to do his best.

Mikey points at Leon and explains he was there for the start of their groups adventure so Leon nods and starts explaining a just arrived and found each other Don and Liam finding him...

Mikey is nudged by Splinty to focus and start rousing his brothers, Mikey does so reaching for Raph first.

Leon is covering the story mostly for his dad but for them all, faulting a bit on how unwell Donnie had become.. what they learned of Liam...

What Donatello had to do to get Don shelter and help...

Leon breaks here to let that sink in.

Leonardo is focusing reaching for brothers as Leon speaks! And as he feels Raphael stirr, then Donatello and Big M right behind him Leonardo does offer his dad attention for the news about Donatello's marriage to a rat princess.

"Ah yes, a song. Of course." Yeah... given what he knows of Wyric... that makes sense. And being here with the other Splinters as well as these various skilled turtles, he is starting to feel more like himself.

He is even pretty sure that Leonardo's skill has grown considerably in the relatively short time they've been gone.

Even in this brief meeting, Splintor is pretty sure that his sons are the oldest of the turtle groups. Though some of the others seem... perhaps more world weary.

Leonardo's assurances are met with similar mixed feelings. Though Mikey's information is helpful, it is also... more than he cared to know.

Usagi, like Leo mostly keeps his reaction to himself regarding Mikey's analogy. There is a slight glance to Leo though during which Leo confirms that yes, Mikey is always like this.

Feeling more himself he actually does manage to keep quiet and allow the meeting to move forward!

Splintier definitely seemed to agree that the analogy was something of a strange one. He settles near his own Leonardo to listen to the tale, and during the telling, puts one hand on his son's shoulder.

It sounds like they've had a rough adventure. A comforting gesture. It's safe to speak, and will be better to get the story out.

"They... were created in a lab. We didn't know about them." Leo admitted of the toddlers when Leon first mentioned Liam. Other than that brief explanation, Leo is quiet during the tale.

"Married?? Your brother is married? ...to a rat?" It's a weirdly unreadable tone. Splintor clearly understands the motivation, and why his son did what he did, but it's still a shock!

But also... to a rat? There are rat people here? Well, that shouldn't be so strange, Splinter and Leo brought a rabbit man with them, why would a rat be so different? Wow... other rat people...

Also dragon toddlers?!

It's Splintier who comes up with the next question though.

"And... did it work? Is Don okay now?" A glance to Leo as he had gathered that it was his brother that had been so ill.

"Yes. It worked." It's brief and truthful, and maybe a little emphatic.

There is clearly a 'but' lingering, though Leo seemed mostly content to let Leon continue the rest of the tale from his point of view. Not interrupting the story, but there is definitely more to it.

When Leo noticed the rousing of other turtles, he nudges his own brothers. Donnie's response, not quite understanding why Leo is trying to rouse him like this,  is something of an overtired, cranky reluctance.

Mikey's attempts at rousing Raph will be met by Raph in avatar form. Adorable, pink daisy and all.

Leon nods " Dragon turtle hybrids and rat folk, um -" a glance at Mikey.

Pleased with his analogy being a winner. If a bit crude and perhaps odd. Mikey fills the spot Leon leaves, [color=#ff6600]" Reinigen, the rat folks call themselves reinigen here, and she is a princess."[color]

Leon nods, yep not only was Donatello married but to a princess and also agreeing that for a time yes it had worked, brought Donnie some time and comfort and maybe a little good health. For a time.

He is explaining the fight and then decline of Donnie's health as they fled the Fortress with the princess her hand maid and their friend Inaba and  Leon is trying not to get gushy over the friendly little rabbit lady he found closeness and more than just friendship with but couldn't help it and Mikey would have teased him openly if not the other brothers were joining them as they are finding a part in the story where Donnie, Bebe and Splinter are all made younger by dragon and Fae magics, a last ditch attempt to make him heal and healthy again!

Mikey is delighted to see Raph! And the avatar! And the flower! Poking at it in a manner that meant sooooo cute!soooo ridiculously cute!

Soon would be time to turn the story over to Leo as all turtles join them!

Splinter knows most of this story he admitted sadly that Donnie's breathing had always been a sore spot of health for his intelligent son. Untreated and only managed as best they could asthma.

Splinty knew some of the story too, but is amused at the blush Leon had now and then talking of Inaba.

A glance at Leo cause this part was the shade attack and coming together with Leo's group and Mike's so over to them to fill in their own story's. Raphie's too.

Raphie and Mike nod for Leo to go first. Raphie because he is cuddling young Donnie close but also prodding gently, whispering that their father and other fathers were here it was time to wake and make nice for a bit. Just a bit!

Splintier is quick to spot that Leon seemed to have feelings for this Inaba he mentioned! Oh, he is curious to meet this "Friendly, little, rabbit lady" that his son seems so taken by! Hopefully someday he will have that chance. In the meantime, he lets Leon get on with his tale.

When Splinter agrees that Donnie has struggled with breathing issues most of his life, Leo adds in that it was at least mostly controlled... usually... (except around the time of the Outbreak virus...) until about 6 months ago.

He does not mention that it had been shortly after they had gotten back from 2105. That it had started getting worse during his frantic search for Master Splinter's data bits. He doesn't mention that Don had still been recovering from neglecting his own physical needs during that search when they had been pulled here.

Leo is quiet as Leon finishes his part of the story. Their group had definitely gone through the most obviously stressful journey.

When Raph arrives, flower on his head! He is not amused with Mikey's poking! He growls at his brother! And those watching could probably swear the flower growled too!

Surely not! It's just a flower, after all! But... it sure looked like it.

No, that flower is definitely glaring at Mikey!

Leon's brothers start to filter in too. They don't interrupt the story, but they do rush to greet their own Splintier! Just be near him for a moment. Awed at what this meditation has allowed them to do! Quietly for now.

Donnie took some convincing from Raphie, but the chance to see their father gets his attention. He does follow, struggling a little before reaching a state where he's open to the contact. He's pretty well wiped out after recent events. Good sleep will do wonders, and this contact will probably help some too.

Donnie gasps slightly when Splinter is really there! And he scoots from Raphie's side to Splinter's. Fae influence making him smaller than Splinter might have expected after being told Donnie is 13 now. Smaller than one would expect of a 13 year old version of his brothers. Hugging his father! So very tired. And clinging a little to this tiny piece of normalcy when everything else around him is crazy! Given half a moment of peace, he will 'fall asleep' here with his father too! If Splinter encourages wakefulness for now, Donnie will do so, but until forced to wake more fully, he is resting.

Leo's tale of his own groups meeting and journey is much shorter as Leon gets to the story of the Shade.

Landing, finding Duncan, meeting Addy who helped him find the others who landed nearby, and Erica who flew on to pass messages to the other groups and help them all head the same direction. Losing Addy's ship, Meeting Lilo and finding the new ship before sailing on to catch up with Mike's group, then Donnie's.

He will let Mike tell his story. Briefly! He's actually rather proud of how his brother stepped up when there was a team that needed him to lead. Not Mike's usual role, and he had done well!

Just like Donatello had.

In time to fight the Shade. Mike and himself rushing toward them in dragon avatar form. Like the avatars that Mikey, Leon and even Raph have presented! Except fully taking the form, instead of the ghostly avatars.

Dragon fire and fae magics are apparently powerful weapons against a Shade, but Donnie and Bebe didn't know what they were doing yet.

Donnie stuck in his dragon form until after they'd managed to catch up with the last group. Finding a solution in Liam's inherited memories!

Donnie getting most of Addy's crew high on Nexus Weed because Sam and Pip wouldn't tell him what it was, and catching up to Raphie's group in that state. Leo doesn't remember much of that fight, memories scrambled and fuzzy from when he passed out from blood loss.

He does remember the transfusion though.

It's a lot. Splintor and Splintier are shocked at what they have all been through! And they have done well to get this far. When Donatello arrives, Splintor hugs his son, who had been forced to lead a group through those struggles! He is proud of his own son who stepped out of his comfort zone to get his team to the others. And boy does it sound like his group struggled!

Donatello sucks in a breath, voice right with lingering emotional doubts and guilt of failing Donnie. Returning him to his family but not as a he was. As he is.

Stronger in a way, and far healthier than he had been. But so different.

And he is glad there is Michelangelo, Big M encouraging Raph to fill in their story journey and Raphie about theirs, Mike is covering the desert story.

Donatello buries against his father in the hug, taking the pride and comfort and whispering, " I hope to bring you back here to meet the reinigen they are better behaved as a folk."  voice low, calm and softly he nuzzles in. And just letting the other stories betold, explanations of the powers they found here and have only begun to use.

As much needing this as over there Splinter tugged a younger Donnie to himself. And held him all tucked under an arm, always surprised by the younger youth of his own Donatello but also there is relief he is well and whole in a way he had not been for a long time.

And oooh yeah he is definitely a size or two smaller then his other sons had been at this age.

Splinty hummus his ghostly self putting a hand on Mikey's shoulder to quell him as Lee rouses too! Slowly but manifesting.

Splintor hugs his son who had clearly needed a parent’s love at the moment. He is certain that these other turtles had treated him well and done what they could to help him know he had done all he could, had done well leading his small group.

But it’s not the same. And so he comforts the tall turtle! So very much taller than himself. An adult, sure, but still so young in many ways.

"You were given a difficult situation, but you did well, My son." He assures quietly as the story around them continues.

He smiles as Donatello mentions wanting to introduce Splintor to the Reinigen.

Perhaps in time. I look forward to that meeting, But first it seems that you and your brothers… all of your many brothers here have a task before you.

Much more himself with a little time and the help from his sons and his couterparts! Oh, he has so much to learn!

And so very proud of his son for having gotten this far already. Even if it hadn’t tuned out as they had hoped.

Raph moves so his own Splinty is sort of between himself and Mikey! And it allows him to be close to his father too! So thrilled to see him again, but not sure… not sure how to handle this new information! Oh, he wants a hug, but... he can't quite bring himself to do it with this audience. Though he absolutely will if his brothers pile on! And this positioning where he's alllllmost touching lets him be close in his own way.

Even the flower looks thrilled to see Splinty!

When they get to explaining his own group’s story, Raph will keep to mostly adding color. In this form, his only language seems to be the words “I am Raph” in that order. Though the others around him don’t seem to have any trouble understanding  what he’s saying.

Weird… But not something he’s going to let himself thing about too much.

Until someone wakes him again, Donnie will absolutely fall asleep curled up with his father.

Donatello relaxes, feels the comfort and closeness, just easing his always over filled mind. And being told again what he did, maybe not had the intended affects as he had hoped he still tried and still managed to at least get the family back together. He nuzzles a little and just let's all Leo had said, all Leonardo had said and all his father's comfort sink all the way in. Murmuring when his father said he'd like to see the rat folk. " As individuals they range from okay to bad, as a group some of their practices are very outdated and archaic by our standards. I hope being married to me allows the Princess Yua make some first steps towards changes for better among her people, and for the species known as terrors. Their like tiny dragon beings, I adopted an orphan one. Elena she is... truly spectacular I hope she comes back with me somehow so you can meet her, as your grand daughter, if not we will find our way back and hopefully she and Yua will still be together. I think they will be." all soft as the other stories come to light.

Leonardo, Michelangelo and Raphael snuggle in, having to go BigM around their father and Donatello, Leonardo around them and Raphael wrapping his big self around his family. Squeeze! But gently! Big Ms words are playful and gentle and grateful to have this moment with their dad. " Leo has had a positive affect on Leonardo and Raphael dad... They even share a lady friend at the moment..ack!" cause one of the big brothers swatted him on the back on the head!

Splinter encourages Donnie into resting. It has had have been a very tiring confusing time for the now younger and smaller than he was once turtle boy. Everything so different to what he recalled but also not as his brothers share his history. Just now the memories of that time for the younger brother might be more half remembered or dream like than actual memories.

Though they get to build happier ones this time around so a blessing and a curse indeed.

Drawing Mike in as he tell of the time in the desert. Okay brags openly about finding and saving Malcolm, of Erica's help and finding MikeyMikey, Donno and DonnieBoy. How much care he had to give them with Erica's help then after from dehydration and severe sun burning. He like Leo is proud of how much Mike stepped up for these interdimensional brothers and offering closeness to all his sons.

Proud it seemed that Leo and Leonardo found a balance that works for them, pleased that Raphie in the retelling of his group seems to have settled things early between himself and Lee and worked with the guy... If it is still a little strange that they became lovers.

He smiles around at the other fathers.

Splinty gathering Raph to him, plant self with adorable flower that Mikey is still trying to poke at! " My fellow Splinter is right, quiet the trying, adventure for you all and still a ways to go. And now we have caught up the father's that have no doubt been worried for you all, contacting and recontacting will be easier for them and you all and for us also." a nod, small and with a half grin at the Splinter who had to go to such people like Wyric to get here. It's amusement and also a bit of wondering gleeful amazement. After all that one had no training as they had. Neither as a man in previous life or a pet of a Master Ninja... He literally started from scratch and his sons were pretty much young adults now. He has done well to get here and now had their support too.

Splintor is glad to feel Donatello relax. He does know his sons, and this trip had definitely been stressful for Donatello.

”Oh, a grand daughter! I cannot wait to meet her. And this princess wife of yours. We will do what we can, My Son.”

Not quite a promise that it will work out, but a promise to make an effort toward that end if Donatello is returned home without the family he has found here.

And there is (possibly some mock, definitely some teasing) gaping at BigM’s announcement that Raphael and Leonardo are sharing a lady companion!

”Sharing! The wonders never cease.” Okay, teasing his sons a little with that. Though it actually is a little surprising that they would share a female companion.

He will definitely be paying attention for any other attempts at this sort of contact. He probably cannot initiate one himself yet, but he is pretty sure he has learned enough here from this one to at least listen for another group that can help him reach a similar state. And next time he is sure he won't need Wyric's help! Thank Goodness!

Donnie takes that encouragement from Master Splinter and falls into a deeper rest. A much needed one. One where he feels warm and safe and… normal in Splinter’s care. He feels at home and settled. At least for now.

The memories will return with time. Mostly in dreams or through meditation.

Leo is perhaps slightly less proud of Mike choosing to explain his story with the expressed level of braggadocio. Though he cannot deny that Mike had done wonderfully for his group while they had been in the desert. And really… if there hadn’t been the bragging, it wouldn’t have been Mike so there’s a little amusement there too as Mike tells his story.

Splintier is still giving his sons light attention as the tales of the journey continue. It’s definitely an adventure.

”Thank you, Mike, for finding and helping my sons.”

Grateful to Mike, and more amused than put off by the bragging during the tale! He can tell that it’s sort of a unique position for this Michelangelo to have been put in. And he does recognize some of how his own MikeyMikey would tell a tale.

And it does seem that their time here for now is coming to an end.

”I am glad to know you are all well. Be careful and continue to take care of each other. Hopefully we will see you again soon.”

Splintor takes another moment with his own sons! And he is learning so much from this connection, short though it may be! He will definitely be trying to sty open to this sort of contact again. And he thinks he can probably manage it without Wyric’s assistance next time. At least he hopes so! He has learned so much from these other versions of himself.

Raph, and apparently the flower which has growled a few times, have had enough of the poking from Mikey. Raph had been about to try and say something when the flower suddenly lunges, growing and stretching around Mikey and snapping shut with him inside!

Raph looks as shocked by this as anyone.

Donatello nods, If Don hadn't shown me the courage to jump right on in I may have been more hesitant - but little Elena is a delight. And the princess and I have grown fond of each other." he really cared about the little family he may have been forced into taking through circumstances and to make a point, " oh I hope we make it back here if they don't return with me." and he kinda hopes they don't, but also wishes they do, this is their world and all they have known and would be best if they could make positive changes for their peoples here in Nexus with or without him. Though he was sure they would find ways to make his world their home too.

Leonardo chuckles as Raphael grunts an " I know right? Heeee even encouraged it."

"I have had a positive influence by a young role model too." Leonardo spares a grin over at Leo and respectful nod. Thanks for pulling him back on the straight when he was allowing a little wildness being in this strange and new world. Hey if he accepts being a big brother to all these turtles like most Leo's find themselves in the position of he had to give due where very deserved. " And also learned a possible way back." cautioning any immediate hopefulness with possible, cause they just don't know if it will work from their dimension.

Mike beams at the thanks and his chest puff, eager to boast becomes a gasp and tiiiny frown sideways at Raph who 'accidentally' elbowed him.

Raph gets it he would have been proud too and probably boasted too, but this was a fellow Splinter! Take the thanks with proper humility bro! Just like Leo would have pulled him up!

Mike bows his head at Splintier deeply, " It was truly an honour to save my interdimensional brothers when they were in need of such help. And they have had my shell numerous times since. And Malcolm's." maybe if interdimensional bonds remain he will find a way to travel and share some time with the little ones there too!

Cause these other turtles had grown as close to the little ones as they had!

And boastful he is sincere with a fellow Splinter of course!

And Splinter is pleased.

Mikey's reaction to his poking making the flower grow and growl is not most folks reaction! So as Lee is joining them properly and more awake as Mikey squeak in delight thinking he gets to smell a pretty flower and mod latest " so preeeetty pree-eeeeeep!" is swallowed!

Splinty manages not to be alarmed. Though he is alarmed. And is stern of voice when he says the the now very big stuff flower, " you asked for that Michelangelo." and in impressed tones. " I never thought to ever have to train any of you about reaching avatars, I am proud of your work and your avatar - ah thank you for teaching them." to Leo and his brothers when Lee yawn announces that they had guidance and teachings.

Splinter smiles. Glad it help rubbing young Donnie's shell. No doubt he has had a confusion upsetting time. Here it is more than okay to not be okay with it all and just rest. " It is a wonder you all have learned and taught each other some new skills and other important things, we are glad, and will as necessary and possible reach out to keep you both very informed of how things are going." amused by the flower. And they probably won't all go until this fun little show of avatar ability is resolved. For which he is glad.

Lee pokes Raph gently to encourage him to spit Mikey out. Though yet it's just a poke cause if you see his face he is very amused! DonnieBoy is flat out chuckling, he had slapped Mikey's poking fingers away a few times but as with Metalhead, best Mikey learns the hard way!

Splinty takes a moment to nod at Splintier, " if you are so willing I wish to visit you now I think I should be able to find your essence and help with some astral plane and interdimensional meditation teachings. I know how hard it can be to learn alone and you have done a fantastic job, especially considering your help was only half helpful." there is amusement in his voice. And to Splintier and Splinter. " and visit you both too from time to time." if willing.

Raphie is sniggering and catches Lee's hand, half for a moment and chance to hold it and to stop him trying to get Raph to spit Mikey out too fast, dude definitely deserves that!

BigM straight up laughed and nudges MikeyMikey and Mike, they are not letting their fellow Mike live this down!

Leon is glad the distraction away from yet spilling all about Inaba, or Lilo... Or Monroe.. or Dana just yet be he is sure the teasing will happen!

There is a lot. The story is a lot, and so many turtles to keep straight. Splintor does figure out that his Donatello is referring to the counterpart that had been his traveling companion. The one now de-aged and resting so peacefully in his own Splinter's care. For a moment, Splintor misses when his own sons were small enough to curl up against him like that.

However, his sons have grown into young men who he is proud of. Even more so after this contact! This is incredible! And all four have learned these meditation techniques! It's fantastic!

And sharing a female?? Incredible.

He chuckles at Raphael and Leonardo. Happy for them. And he gives Donatello's shoulder a squeeze when Leonardo mentions that he has a potential way to return.

Leo can't help but smile as Donatello says that Don showed him the courage to jump in with both feet. It was so very unlike his brother to do that, and yet... with what Leo's heard, it makes perfect sense that he did.

There's some slight amusement at the older turtles too. And glad that he could help Leonardo back to a less wild path. Though he is pretty sure they sort of met in the middle, with Leo stepping outside his comfort zone too. Giving him the courage to pursue at least this moment in the Nexus with Addy.

"And having a big brother has certainly been a new experience. It took a little while, but I have learned to appreciate it." Stated fondly, and nothing untrue. It had definitely taken a little while for Leo to warm up to the larger, older alpha, but Leo has come to respect him. Leo can even appreciate the moments when he's actually been afforded the chance to relax his guard and trust his older brother to take it up for a while.

Sure, Raphie takes the role on occasion, but it's different.

Splintier is amused by the brotherly bump of Raphie reminding Mike to back off on the boasting. He is pleased that his own sons were also fitting in and helping out. Though he expects that of them! Especially after other adventures.

There is at least mild shock among the group as Raph's flower swallows Mikey! Just enough to coax Donnie into a state of not quiiiiiite wakefulness. Peeking one eye open at the commotion, but not leaving the comfy spot against his father. It's just brother shenanigans.

Splintor is definitely alarmed, new to this sort of contact, though Splintier is least so. Mostly amused. Because as Splinty said, Mikey absolutely deserved it.

Leo recovers from his surprise at the flower eating Mikey pretty quickly. He offers a bow to the thanks regarding the meditation and avatars they have been encouraging their counterparts to find.

"They have been quick learners." All the turtles so far have done well with the attempts. And most at least had basics down before arriving in the Nexus.

In fact the only turtles Leo hasn't seen an avatar from had been Mike's traveling companions. Given the time they would have needed to recover from their dehydration in the desert, it isn't surprising.

Donnie shifts against Splinter, snuggling back into his spot a little more and resettling.

”She— He still echoes.” It’s muttered, mostly to himself. And a tone that suggests that Donnie is stumped. No one else had seemed to recognize the echoes he heard earlier.

Splintor looks up quickly at the offer of more visits and some training in meditation!

”Oh, that would be amazing! I mean… yes, please. I would very much appreciate any lessons you would be willing to teach me!” Oh, very excited!

”A visit would be more than welcome anytime.”

He does love his sons more than anything, but some adult company would definitely be welcome from time to time!

Raph's first response to Lee's poke is a frustrated shrug! He doesn't actually know how to control the flower!!!

Grunt!

But... annoying as he is, Raph doesn't actually want to eat Mikey. He knows too much about where he's been! Nope!

And the flower spits him out. Completely coated in sticky, red pollen.

Donno is clearly trying to keep his mouth shut about something. Keep the wisecrack to himself. MikeyMikey and Ralphie are outright laughing, and even Splintier is chuckling softly. Because yes, Mikey deserved everything he got.

Other than being slimed, Mikey seems fine. So Raph is glad his brother is okay, but also... not sorry.

Loooong loooong and now very convoluted story, or stories, converging lately into the one about them travelling now to do whatever Lee wants to with the slave trade.

Splinter already knows and Splinty has the knowledge and they definitely encourage staying that bit longer to ask Lee about his plans or sort of plans as it were. Splinter blinking curiously at Donnie and rubbing his head. "what do you mean my son? Is it a sound each or aura?" and grinning at his fellow Splinters. Proud and seeing echoes pride on the other rat father's their pride at just how much no matter how hard the journey has been how much their sons have all stepped up to help each other and come together and learn.

Splinty beams, glad the other fathers agreed to meeting up like this more often, teaching Splintor some new techniques and also strengthening all their connections so they can help out their sons.

Lee is also puzzled, and Hella amused by the shared learnings between Leo and Leonardo. Both of them like the big brothers to himself and by Leon's face the less offensive and more defensive leader among them felt the same. Sorta wanting to hear Donnie's words too but ready to answer questions if they come his way now he is here and chuckling, elbowing Raph to sniggers at the Mikey, whose now slimey astral form is laying there in a shocked sort of daze and seemed to be for a moment taking stock of all his digits, wriggling toes and fingers first!

BigM is surprised but glad to hear Raphael's boom of a guffaw and he leans over fully expecting MikeyMikey to get in one some teasing, "you take smelling the roses too far Mikey."

Hahaha Raphie sniggers and elbows Leo a bit leaning past to offer Raph a knuckles for dealing with an annoying brother in such a cool way!

Leo doesn't mind being elbowed by Raphie. This is probably a little unusual. He has missed his brothers so much that even their usually annoying traits are welcomed.

And he's actually amused by the knuckles to Raph. And really... Mikey absolutely deserved it.

Raph grins as he returns the knuckles! Chuckling at Mikey's much deserved misfortune!

Before Raphie can pull back past Leo though, Leo grabs him in a headlock/hug for just a moment.

MikeyMikey laughed at BigM's comment and crouched down next to Mikey. Not quiiiiiite touching the mess.

"You've been like tooootally slimed, Dude."

"Finally, a flower I can agree with." Because Ralphie cannot resist getting in on this too.

Leo had been just about to ask Lee what exactly his plan was for dealing with the slave trade. Though it was entirely possible that step one would be recon.  Though some details about how an attack could cripple the slave trade would be useful.

He stops mid sentence as Splinter asks Donnie to explain the comment.

Donnie looks up, confused by the question.

"You mean... you don't feel that?" He is looking up at his Splinter. Unsure of what to think about that.

He turns his gaze to Leo. Nope, Leo has no idea what Donnie is talking about. He looks toward other turtles. His brothers, then Mikey, Donatello and Leon who were there when he arrived in the Nexus... well... when he remembers arriving anyway. Finally the others.

He's not finding recognition anywhere, not realizing that this is either a fae sense or something unique to his combination of fae, dragon and the trained chi sensing.

Donnie makes a lightly distressed noise as he looks to Lee's Splinty then back to his own. Why... why is he the only one?? But he was asked a question, and even at 13, he can focus on the question asked!

"No... not a sound. Umm... Not aura...?" He is definitely less sure about the second statement. Looking around the rest of the group.

"No one else echoes..."

Pausing at Raphie for a moment, then Lee. Pouting.

"Weird..."

Donnie looks up at Master Splinter again. Curling up, seeming even smaller, unsure how to explain this.

"She kind of echoes like Raphie. But Raphie doesn't echo, and no one else echoes."

This is the second time in this conversation that he's misgendered Lee, but more distraught now, he doesn't realize he did it this time. And Raphie and DonnieBoy were there when he did it earlier. Leo had dismissed and doesn't really remember Donnie's barely coherent babbling about Raphie's "Not-She-Lee boyfriend girl". This sort of struggle to keep information straight once he's been given it is unlike him, but it is reminiscent of his calling Bebe "Mom" even though he knows and even insists she's not his mother.

Maybe now that the others are looking really paying attention, someone else can pick up on what he senses? Not necessarily as echoes, but... through their own senses?

Splinter smiles, as the hilarity of the Mikey gooped by Raph flower is going on and listening to Donnie try to explain he rumbles in that hmmmm sort of way that tells his sons he has heard, he is thinking. Not dismissing or disappointed at the odd answers, just thinking it over. A pat to Donnie's shoulder. " No, sorry Donatello but I am not feeling, or um sensing what you are, could be the physical distance... do not be troubled too hard about it my son, I am sure an answer will present itself in time, patience." hoping to ease the distressed sounds of the tween, out his young mind at ease that it is okay not to know it all right now, that in time mysteries have a way of revealing themselves.

Raphie puzzles, but also blushes a bit and is glad to be 'oh so vigorously!' trying to wriggle out of the headlock by Leo, hiding his blushing assuming that misgendering Lee twice now and the echoes being sort of his doing but him not echoing maybe because the last few nookies between him and Lee he had been on top.

So he was sort of glad about not having to explain that one!

Leonardo wonders if he might be able to sense something, though he is still relatively new at this water bending stuff.

There is general sniggers and snorts at MikeyMikey and Ralphie both piling on. More so when Mikey attempts his kinda weak glare at them for that but looks hopeful, " think it's good for the skin?"

DonnieBoy shrugs a bit chuckling clapping Raph's shoulder. " in this astral plane? Probably! Out in the real life side of things..." glance at Donatello and Donno if they wanted to continue that train of thought about carnivorous flowers and their juices. And well the possibilities given this is a manifested avatar flower! So who really knew?!

Splinty grins at Donnie also not wishing to worry the youth about not knowing everything right now. " we will get to the bottom of it."

Lee is not worried. Sure he feels a tad more tired and hungry and thirsty that he normally would, but between that and the random sort of nauseated feelings he feels fighting fit and isn't entirely worried when misgendered. Sort of feels, right?

He explains a little of the slave trades, and how he might stage a mock bargaining or selling of one of avatared up two oh three turtles in dragon form to buy the freedom of as many captives as possible. The rest of the plan he is not sure of, but he is guessing there will be negotiations so will get a look at the city or place and people they will be dealing with. " Was planning on Erica trying to attempt the trade but if possible maybe Addy as she seems more practiced at the craft being a merchant trader." or maybe a pirate?

Either way good at negotiation and maybe more used to having to stand up for herself and what she was selling or trading with to others.

A glance at Leo, he wouldn't force Addy of course if she said no, but the idea was there and he didn't want to hear what the others thought.

Donnie made a soft, frustrated sound. One his family hasn't heard in awhile. And slightly different from then. It's not quiiiite a chirp, but it's close. Definitely a child's sound. Accepting his father's words, even if he doesn't like the answer he's gotten. He is not good at being patient with a puzzle like this, and is very much driven to try and solve it!

But for now, Donnie snuggles into his father's fur. Relishing the comfort and warmth there. He is not really listening as talk turns to crushing the slave trade. Someone will tell him what he needs to do eventually. He will instead accept this moment of familiarity and comfort.

Donno made a face at Mikey's hope the fluid might be good for the skin.

"Only if you're looking for a really effective exfoliant..." Yuuup, Donno caught onto that one

Raph is sniggering. Maybe being a plant isn't so bad!

Leo does turn his attention to the plan for the slave trade. Listening as Lee explains.

"I agree that Addy would probably be better at making the trade, and recognizing if something is starting to go sideways." He trusts her judgment, and she's probably been part of enough general transactions to recognize if something feels off. Having met Erica briefly, Leo doesn't think she really has the air of confidence to pull this off. At least not naturally. She might be able to fake it. But Addy carries herself more confidently.

"Did you have a particular one of us you wanted to use? Keeping in mind that maintaining avatar form is draining?" Leo could see plans with any one of them working well. They would need to keep in mind that

Basically, Leo is warning Lee that he isn't sure how long they could maintain the ruse. There is an element of motivation to holding their avatar forms.

Splinter muffled a amused hummm against the bald top of his sons head, so Donnie would feel the rumble and feel the tickle of his whiskers. " Patience young one, the answer will come when you least expect it and if your focused on rushing, the answer might slip past." he advises gently, knowing he has said similar things to a younger more eager and more easily excitable and frustratable Donnie. And as he was that Donnie again figuring to try at least this tried method of soothing the need to know jitters the eager youth will have.

And there is an half grin from ghostly Splinty, like he too had given a Donnieboy similar advice before.

And maybe a half short glance towards the Splintier and Splintor too to see if likewise they have had to handle their Donatellos in that way.

Maybe still did at times!

Splinty does hold up a hand before Lee - as he nods eagerly - responds to Leo. " Beeeeefore you guys make any more sort of plans I think it best you also include all of your paramours in this talk, if for nothing else because on top of being more adept at this Addy and her fellow Nexus locals may also have knowledge and ideas to use."

That dooooes make Lee pause and he grins sheepish, he nods and subsides and little but does continue some of what he had been excitable about to say to Leo, " thats what I was hoping, Erica was always happy to try it out but even with Raph and Raphie both coaching she definitely is more gentle than a strict business deal needs." glancing at his brothers and chuckling at the sudden eeeeew ew ew ewing Mikey was doing and trying to 'shake' the astral plant goo off of his astral self.

DonnieBoy offers Donno a high three appreciative of the way the guy phrased that and very amused by Mikey's response whilst Raphie is snorting with laughter and elbowing his planty counterpart with a sideways grin that definitely said, 'pretty cool yeah?' in regard to the plant thing!

They knew it was time to break this up, to go back, but lingering to enjoy their fathers' reassurances and presences a bit longer, lingering because they know and felt bad their being gone had worried their fathers and were trying to make up for it a little. Sooth as much ruffled feelings as could knowing that it could be mostly in vain given what they are still facing in Nexus.

Big M is laughing, he will definitely make a point to recall this to tease his small very strange counterpart with, something about shiny skin, or having a glow... maybe his fellow Mike's will have some quips too! He takes the moment though to muscle in with his bigger brothers, Donatello chuckling, shuffling to make room around their father, the purple clad brother much more heart assured after hearing the same comforting sentiments from his own fathers along with Leos, as Leo had expressed to him too.

And once there the Leo resettled and Raphael around them all making it a group hug, sure they were not small any more in no way, but they still snuggled close when they could to their father!

Donnie makes a soft, frustrated noise at those words. He doesn't notice the ever so slight chuckle of the Splintier and Splintor who both recognize that frustration from their own Donatellos.

But for now, he is maybe surprisingly accepting of the advice. So much is crazy at the moment. Even once he gets back, there are plenty of other questions to occupy his mind without focusing on that one. That rumble and the tickle of whiskers on his head are so wonderfully familiar. He snuggles in and clings to his father for a moment longer. Not really listening to... whatever sort of mission planning seems to be going on. As far as he remembers, this sort of thing has never been part of his life.

Leo nods at Splity's suggestion.

"That probably would be for the best." He admits. And he does consider it likely that Addy, or perhaps one of Mike's desert traveling companions, Dana or Monroe might know something. Though he does sort of expect that Dana and Monroe's knowledge if more along the lines of how to steer well clear of the area...

Donno accepts that high three from his counterpart with a slight snigger. But it does seem that they are starting to wrap things up here. He then moves to his own family, where his brothers are starting to gather around their father who hugs them tightly. Relishing this moment before his children have to go back into that dangerous world they're in.

They've been in dangerous situations before, but a father always worries.

Raph sniggers, and "I am Raph." Okay, maybe owning the plant form just a bit more. Because what it did to Mikey was... pretty cool. He also notices that things are starting to break up a bit. And he moves to his own father.

"I am Raph?" Wondering if they'll get to see him again soon. Is this something they can do again to find him? Not all the time, but... sometimes? He's missed his father more than he would ever admit openly.

"Dude, you didn't like totally need those outer scales anyway." Well... okay, maybe he does, but somewhere between teasing and helpful!

"New dance moves?" Ralphie grins at Mikey!

But they too noticed that things were starting to wrap up, and moving to their father.

Splintor hugs his own children as they get near enough. Reaching out to touch them as much as he can in this moment before they are dragged away again! Worried about them, certainly, but also thrilled to have met this group and to have real access to someone who would be able to help him with meditation arts! Doing it properly! And without whatever that plant was...

"Take care of yourselves, my sons."

"All of you." Splintier added, bringing in all the counterparts into the instruction to take care! They still had a long way to go to get home.
