The Cove, Iluka Islands.

Raph is definitely amused by the sea shanty! And he's pretty sure he heard about Leonardo being Beach Master for some chubby naiads at the very beginning of their journey. Big Blue would definitely have a leg up on that sailor. And if he's not verrry much mistaken, Raphael was getting a little naiad action last night!

So he chuckles softly at part of the song, not really releasing Lilo as he does so.

He whispers, just for her. "You're way hotter than some naiad."

Actually... Raph's not entirely certain he's seen a naiad. Not close enough to really know what one was. But he doesn't care. Certainly not at the moment.

Oh, that sonar thing is amazing! And Leo is grinning as he ducks around in the water, forcing Duncan to reassess and search him out once more!

And Leo has ever intention of Duncan never finding out this was training! That does not change that it actually is. He definitely wants it to be fun. He knows that when they were little, their own training had been a combination of serious and fun. And this right now? This is definitely an opportunity for fun.

Every so often, Leo will allow Duncan to catch him. Just enough that it's fun for the little guy. And it's usually when Duncan has done something particularly coordinated or interesting. When he tries something new, Leo will often let it 'work' at least the first time.

As Duncan catches him, he nuzzles the child and gives his own series of clicks and a hum. It's not the deep rumble of the big guys that is almost felt more than heard, but it is one he only makes in the water. And after that moment of happy nuzzling... Leo's off again, moving in a new direction.

Raph may not have been entirely sure, but Lilo didn't catch it and she also feels a rush of delight at his words. Sure she was not the most vain wildermann sometimes to sit and simply groom her furr all day long until it shone bright. But she did try to take good care of her furr usually and to hear him say she was hotter - well his tone and the fact they were smooching and the song happening around them so she unstood the context and was of course flattered, offering him one of her best so sweet humms and nipping at his pulse very briefly and soooo lightly, " mmmmmm and you are more delectable than any goji berry." happily, tail wrapping lightly about his waist tugging him closer to just hold - and of course snog a bit more giggling between these softer lighter brief smoochies.


Close by Addy purrs listening to them, amused. She does flick an eye open to glance down at the water, though even as a happy Kovu rejoins the group around the warm brazzier heat the klaustreich female for all her excellent cat night eye sight couldn't make out more than shapes of the turtles below.

Raphael makes a boom boom sort of sound and Leonardo reacts with a single of his own swimming lower to replace his brother so the big guy could swap out to take a deep breath - their sounds just low and deep so not to confuse the little one who is clearly enjoying this game, this training game - the delighted almost song like wooo woooos and the sound of his splashing briefly as he goes to the surface after the nuzzles and listening to Leo's sounds and this time the little guy took a more deep relaxed breath unlike his almost sneezed out one before still excited and hurried but just taking a moment before returning under the water - looking for Leo again sending out his clicks, clicks rapidly followed by some happy sorts of sounds when he finds Leo's familiar shape, of course he did pick up on Raphael's moving shape and Leonardo's but he was too much enjoying the game to focus on them and instead all waggy tailed and even his shell cracking open a bit wings unfurling he swims after Leo, the longer Daddy did this the more he grew a little more coordinated with thee strokes and kicks of hands and feet, and as his wings move to feel the water on them learns they can turn him more sharply.


Leonardo is shell down to the dark depths beneath them, hiding Duncan's smaller shape with his own and just sensing as far as he can in all directions for anything that might present a danger to Leo and especially Duncan. Though he pitied any predator foolish enough to think they can reach the child with DaddyLeo right there. If they got past him or Raphael on the outer ring of their sort of circle spot now that he'd taken a deep breath.

Leo is sort of thrilled and sort of nervous when Duncan's wings come out. Thrilled to let the little guy have a chance to use them, but definitely switching to being even more hyper aware of what's around them.

He continues the game though, letting Duncan catch him with those sharper turns! He's impressed with how fast Duncan is learning. He's going to sleep well tonight!

He is aware of the larger turtles switching places, and appreciates the barriers to anything below them. An extra layer of protection from predators, yes, but also they don't need to be advertising what Duncan is.

Every time he catches Daddy Duncan is a long limbed bundle of very happy widdle dude! all nuzzles and so happy blop blop blopping bubbling sounds - enjoying the affections and the play - though he does show when he is wearing out by needing to head to the surface to take breaths more.


though he is not willing to admit it yet! happy to return and practice those moves, turn and learn his wings can even propell him a bit through the water too~ though that was a difficult skill to learn the controlled slight up and down waves of the movements to create a flow over and above that will make him glid like a ray of some sort. But he was trying!


Leonardo is not sure what is creeping around under them, but he does turn over to offer a pointed deep growly rumbling to warn things to stay away. Raphael still circling them slowly offers a slightly deeper, scarier sounding rumbling when he feels Leonardo's.


It wasn't an urgent must get out of the water now warning, sides he knew Leo might sense the darker shape int he waters below, some sort of larger type fish? it was a threat to the shape to stay below and that its been spotted.

Leo is noticing Duncan surfacing more often, and he's letting the nuzzling linger a little longer, letting the little guy rest. The wing motions are impressive! That's going to be cool to watch as Duncan gets older. Leo could sort of see how it might work as Duncan gets older, but for now, it's uncoordinated. It's still very, very cool.

He thought there was something just on the very edges of his senses, and he's sort of starting a search and about to send a warning down to the other turtles, but he heard them responding to whatever was there. This time he doesn't let Duncan go, keeps him close and they go up to the surface.

"Time to put those wings away, Buddy." Leo whispers, nuzzling Duncan. He's sorry about having to make him stop, but he didn't know what was down below them looking up. Still searching, feeling for whatever was down there. And he's ready to slip out of the water with Duncan if this starts to go sideways.

Up here, Raph is oblivious to anything that might be going on in the water. That's a long way, and he doesn't have that sort of senses. Maybe if he was in the water with the others, he'd have noticed by now, but he's not. He's not even particularly worried. Between two Leonardos and that monstrous Raphael, he's pretty well assured that they'd have just about anything handled.

He is very much enjoying Lilo's company! And her smoochies! He chuckles slightly at the goji berry thing coming up again. Yeah, he'd liked that. Hopefully they'll get another chance for something like that again, but who knows as they're hopefully going to me making some good time on their way away from the islands!

And he has no idea how wide spread those berries might be. Still, he's definitely glad that he got the opportunity to try them.

Now they're going to have to find a way to make a pizza for her to try!

Heh! a happy little hum sort of hiccup and she spreads those smaller briefer smoochies over cheeks and forehead and even down to collar bone - just so happy to be here in the warmth of the brazier and embrace and bale to lightly ghost fingers over plastron, not actual stroking just lightly tapping.


Face thoughtful and sort of unawares he was thinking along the same train of thought, " whilst we travel you and I may have to see if there is anything in the food storage that can make something similar to ... um pissa?" tail tip flipping back and forth maybe a tad uncertain she had the pronunciation correct.

Raphael moves closer to Leo and Duncan. " whatever that was... sort of ray shaped with tentacles from what I could see - or maybe it was a squid? um, it's still below us - do we get back on board?"


Leonardo didn't bother pulling his swords out yet, the predator beneath wasn't coming closer so perhaps there was no need too? still, if it did he will reserve showing he has them until in dire need, for now, the sort of ray - or squid inky dark body was moving below, slowly and clearly unsure, maybe of the sounds he and Raphael sent out, or their unfamiliar - sort of? shape


Or perhaps if Genio Innocuo still existed in this world or recently did maybe just a remembered shape?


Whatever for now all he cared was as Raphael moved closer to Leo and Duncan the creature stayed beneath.


Duncan does pout ever so slightly but - " oooootaaaaaay - but me smims good... like a Sish?!" excitedly, wrapping his wings back up and there is no noticeable click with Raphael's voice and the sound of the water's around them, and Duncan is oblivious to the worry of the bigger turtles, far too happy and even with the oh so put on pout he is so enjoying pressing close to Leo and his little fingers playing gently with Leo's wet bandana tails.

"You swim wonderfully. We'll have to take more opportunities to swim." With that he started getting Duncan out of the water with a nuzzle. He glanced to Raphael.

"I'm going to take Duncan up." He won't force the others out if they want to check on the creature, but Leo's not taking the chance with Duncan. And actually, he might ask Addy about whatever it is.

Though he's hoping it's just something curious about genio innocuo... They are still in their old waters. At least as far as Leo knows.

There's a playfulness in Raph's responses to Lilo, but for the most part, he's sort of starting to lean back and relax. It's been a long day of sailing, and a little play followed by a little relaxing with an arm around Lilo sounds like the perfect break.

He chuckles at her pronunciation of pizza.

"Itza pizza pie-a." His accent is purposely terrible. "I'll take a look around."

Raphael nods and follows Leo a bit, " I would too, think Leonardo and I will be following unless we get any confirmation it should be okay to stay." and even then his tone suggests they still might just join the rest on deck anyways sort of time to fill - maybe bask in some of that warm the cat lady was soaking up. Maybe.


The shape still hasn't moved away or much save for slow sort of circling beneath - slow and steady so the big turtle has no doubt the creature knows they are there and is checking them out, thankfully Duncan presents no target as long as the being didn't have super eyesight and could pick them in the dark water as more than vaguely silhouetted by the dim warm ember glows above.


Duncan yyyyaaaaaays and snuggles - and oooooh he yawwwwns so wide, " I is try swinnnns as good as yoooooou."[/color]


" thank you - I am most curious about this... um perfect pizza pi ie?" trying his pronunciation she hoped as he leans back and rests she leans against him tail curling up behind her -


Maybe Sam and Pip do their best not to perve -


Addy's ears are following Leo and Duncan below - and her eyes were mostly closed again, her body still relaxed but she is following them. Waiting. They seemed okay so that was comforting.

"Someday you will, Little Ninja." Leo smiled as he nuzzled Duncan and carried him back up to the deck. "Why don't you go tell the others all about it?"

Leo looks back down, checking on Raphael and Leonardo. Making sure that all was well with them behind him before he'll move over to Addy. There's a mildly concerned glance to Addy, he wants to ask her about that creature, but he'll wait until Duncan is off telling one of the others all about swimming. And Leo sort of suspects the guy will want to tell Addy first before making his way to the others.

So far, the creature had just been circling though, and Leo isn't terribly concerned.

It was just an abundance of caution that had encouraged him to get Duncan out of the water.

Raph is mostly relaxing, leaning back and just holding Lilo at this point. He chuckles softly at her attempt at his terrible pronunciation.

"It's pretty much the perfect food." He grinned. And maaayyybe a semi-warning glance over at Sam and Pip. It's more of an 'I saw that' than anything else.

When LittleBlue came up with the kiddo... Raph recognizes that look. That's Leon's 'I have mild concerns that I can't say at the moment' look. And he takes a guess as to why.

"Hey, Duncan. How was swimming?" Maybe he could get the kid's attention so the others could talk.

Sam looks into the little metal fire pit intently - Pip looks up at the stars whistling.


Lilo misses this - well maybe not the whistling but couldn't care less, just all lite up in the face and curious about this food he wanted to share with her and his words he would try to find something. A loud happy hum and maybe sort of cheeky smile, " mmm perfect food, pretty sure you will be almost as perfect a food too." entirely teasing and maaaybe hinting next time she intended to taste instead of letting friendly fire escape.


Then giggling and sitting up a little straighter and slightly to a side -


Duncan had been contemplating the edge of the boat where they had come up - he had been all but too happy to woooo hoooo at Leo's confirmation he will one day swim as good as his dad! oh he was a happy happy boy! - and now sort of reaching down to touch the divet int he wood, the hand and foot holds to climb back up.


But Addy's tail in his face puts him off investigating more and when he looked up there was Dads idea of going to tell the others and -


" oh yes yes yes I muss musss!" hugging Leo's leg then rushing off towards Raph and Lilo, Sam and Pip still as he rushes fearlessly by them and even stops to shake the water off - splattering them with the salty moisture pouncing eagerly at the snuggling pair, sort of caught by Lilo's tail and brought more gently into their laps. " I swins!" he eagerly informs Raph happily his tail wagging and little snout looking for nuzzles.


Addy chuckles a little and maybe she is a little slow propping herself up. " what is it Leo?' tail flicking tip brushing over him lightly and wondering what was bothering him. She had only seen two shells below.

Both pick turtles nearer the surface and watching the circling was a little faster.


And they were perhaps moving towards the boat side to begin climbing up if needed.

Leo smiled as Duncan hugged his leg. He rubbed the little guy's head, and chuckled as Duncan then bounced off to tackle Raph and Lilo.

He turned his attention to Addy. Duncan was distracted for the moment.

Moving closer to her, and sort of giving her a quick assessment, just watching for how she's moving. Looking for anything she might try to hide about how she's feeling. He's still worried about her.

"I'm not sure. We had some sort squid... ray... thing circling under us." Do they have squid and rays here...? "Lots of tentacles and what looked like wings."

He has no idea what it is, but it was definitely large enough to concern swimmers, especially with Duncan in the water.

Lilo sort of caught Duncan, but Raph 'let' the boy knock him over with the nuzzling. Hopefully that would give Little Blue a bit more time to talk without concerning the tot.

"Oh Nooooo! I'm a turtle, and I can't get up!" It's entirely fake, but playful for the kid.

He continues to nuzzle, chuckle and squirm like he's actually stuck.

All the while, he is also sort of listening in.

Sam and Pip had both straightened, stiffened and looked worriedly to the Captain. The same word on their tongues, "Gedächtnis Esser!" sort of spat out.


The creature could be dangerous.

Addy is upright and she maybe is favouring her hurt side, the healing Duncan had bestowed and the pain reliefs both from the healing session and the sips of the ariki were fading, she nods at Sam and Pip's word. "Gedächtnis Esser large bones swimmers that have a hood shaped body with fins like wings that run along the mental and tentacles, eight and two grasping arms, almost twice as long as most Naiad's and they eat everything, whatever they can catch, but don't usually attack vessels. Not in the strait water because the waters here do not go down deep enough fro them to grow to that size... all the same - we should perhaps sail a bit more on the wind away from this spot and perhaps if there are any find a drum to entice the massive swimmers of the waters closer, they hunt the Gedächtnis Esser and well it might scare it off."

Leonardo was not sure he was comfortable with the situation and after a glance at Raphael the last two turtles climbed up the side of the boat vaulting over the edge and onto the deck, Leo choosing to land with a little bit of a thud to announce their arrival.

Duncan and Lilo both giggle, the little turtle oh so happily squeaking on and on about sounds and chasing Leo - trying to catch daddy, nuzzling as Raph squirmed and writhed.


Lilo is somewhat listening but it is hard to register it all as she watches the happy pair, amused by Raph's play acting.

Sam and Pip, as well as Addy are receiving something of a blank look at that long word. Everything here has long names it seems.

As Addy explains, Leo gets it.

"So... like a giant squid? He listens a bit longer, and she's seeeeems to suggest that in other waters they get larger... "Check that.. Small Kraken. I'll go with Kraken. And... what are the bigger things that eat them?" Out of curiosity.

He looks over as the big guys arrive.

"Good choice."

He nods at the getting underway again. That sounds like a pretty good idea. And he moves closer to Addy, picking up Duncan's carrier on his way, and keeping the next words mostly between them.

"You are hurting though. You need to rest. At least... find a spot you can sit and delegate, and let us do the heavy lifting."

Raph is still squirming, though there is definitely hugs and nuzzling to the child that is telling him all about...

Well... it's clearly about swimming and trying to catch Leo, but Raph is really not catching even half of it... which is probably fine. He gets the gist!

He can't pronounce whatever that monster the others are talking about is. He's not even going to try. He does pause his wiggling long enough to ask a question of the others.

"Don't any of you creatures have short names? Like... slugs. You people got slugs here? You probably call them Uchterwiggi Klemports."

It's completely made up. If he said something awful, he has no idea.

But he turns most of his attention back to Duncan.

"So did you actually catch him?" Raph asked of the game they had played down in the water.

Addy's eyes are soft, she is not particularly worried for the moment and when Leo is closer she lightly touches cool dampish little pert nose to his snout a soft purr, " I will enjoy the view.... from over there." nodding towards the roof of the captain's cabin, latrine. She would have a good view up there and usually could climb the again shaped into it divets for climbing up but right now was not up to it. And she wasn't going to try and play down the ache merely because she would hear and see and knew Leo already knew how she was doing. Much better, but well wounds that were deep did hurt still. His other question makes her have to think a bit, " um like really really big fish but not fish like some naiads the have to come up to breath and are enormous."


Leonardo nods, " yeah we thought so, it's circling... huh sounds like a whale." He and Raphael didn't need the order they moved towards reversing the process of hoisting the anchor. Sure it is heavy buuuut they are strong and can manage it just fine.


Kovu watches - definitely enjoying the view.


Lilo laughs a little and she can't help snuggling the happy little boy - or cuddling with him against squirmy Raph, her eyes twinkling, " musai... a race of incredibly beautiful beings... usually the artisans and or crafters of this world." giggling a bit and nervous of course she had heard of squid like beings but they presented little danger to her on the island home lands, out here - was a whole different tail game. Speaking of which her nervousness about that is show by her tail curling down against her back side, not a tight frightened rolled up role shape but loosely tucked.


Addy smiles the big guys had already began so she was content already with the progress, " Raph take Sam or Pip see if can find a drum or something to make one, Lilo you and Kovu clear up the food, pack it away make sure we have fresh water skins around to drink though. Pip or Sam will help you move the brazier and try to dampen it's light and other lanterns the beast will come up and be drawn by light if we leave it on." a captains tone back in place, gaze returning to Leo, " we should hurry the big guys and you will need to get us under way."

"Do you need help?" Just to get to where she wants to watch from. If she needs it, he will  help her before collecting Duncan and starting to get underway. And along the way, there's a brief nuzzle. Nothing overt, it's subtle, but it's there. He is quick about offering the assistance. He's not wasting time.

There's sort of a soft 'hunh...' sound as Leo considers the words about the thing that sounds like a whale. Yup... sounds like a whale.

Raph is sort of staring at Lilo over the musai thing... It's a little blank. If he's not very much mistaken... she just called slugs beautiful...

"Are musai slug people, or just actually have a short name...?" Because... now he's picturing slugs in ball gowns... or... like a Miss Universe pageant... Miss Slug Queen...?

But he is being given a job, and Leo is coming to collect the kid. "Right... drums..." Raph helps get Duncan in the carrier on Raph's back, gives Lilo a quick kiss to the cheek and takes off with Sam and Pip to see if they can find a drum.

Leo makes his way back toward his next task, or helping get underway. Oh, he liked her Captain's Tone. He doesn't dwell on that though. Okay, maybe grinning about it a little, but he's moving and going about what he needs to do to help get this boat moving!

Addy almost said yes please, then she recalled the grins Leo would get when she threw her weight around, her captains voice and bossiness and though his barely there response to her was a soft purr and her eyes had a mischievous sort of look, " yes and quick smart Leo or I will have you swabbing the decks." in a tone that suggested she would perv the entire time and enjoy every moment of it - puuuuuurrrrrr when she is finally up there -


And she still manages not to be too distracted, even if she does watch him move away moving to gather Duncan.


the little turtle giggles not sure what was going on but he sees Leo coming and his arms go up happily.


Leonardo catches the grin and for a moment he pauses... and then keeps pushing he and Raphael both growling out in exertion and pulling the anchor up out of the water.


Lilo is reluctant to do as told but she and Kovu have a task and she smooches Raph's lips giggling with the little boy, " Sort of? they are a oddly pretty for something that is slimy." winkie and flick of her tail over his, moving off of him and letting go of the little fellow slowly, watching Pip and Sam join him to help search the store rooms, Leonardo calling out " I think I saw musical instruments in the first store room!"


Addy's voice calls out with a snap, " Leonardo and Raphael the boom needs to come this way to catch the breeze." ordering. " Leo be quick you will be needed at the tiller to brace us on the edge of the current."

"Aye, aye, Captain." Allllllmost has a sort of delighted churr underneath it. Oh he would absolutely do that for no reason other than so she could perv if she told him to. But they do need to get moving, and he's off with a light, quick nuzzle.

He is quick about getting Duncan settled with Raph's help, though he did pause to give the little guy a nuzzle! Leo then hurries (as ordered!) to the tiller. Yuuup, definitely enjoying being bossed around by Addy. He's not doing a very good job of hiding it either. He really sees no reason to.

By now, he has a pretty good feel for the tiller, and he's ready just as he's needed. The anchor is up, and the big guys adjusting the boom.

He reaches back with one hand to squeeze Duncan's foot quickly.

"You ready back there?"

Does Little Blue look just a little too happy about being bossy around by the catty Captain?? Raph is pretty sure he does, and it's completely amusing!

He is still sort if staring at the beautiful slugs thing. But it gives way to a grin as she continues.

"So... guessing they're not big fans of sardines?" Super salty fish probably wouldn't go well for slug people.

He grins, kisses her and rubs off, heading belowdecks in ninja fashion, not making use of actual stairs, and shouting back to Leonardo as he jumps.

"Yeah, yeah, we got it, Big Blue. You just move the boom."

He does however, take the advice, and move to search the first storeroom. He actually is careful about it, now that it is all organized.

Addy is so amused, and enjoys getting that grin, maybe contemplating teasing him a little with the crop she had seen, but nah another time - or maybe behind closed doors. And up here she waits for the drum, viewing the waters and the direction the flag above was flying, she'd chosen a white flag with no coat of arms as hopefully it will stop an unnecessary attack, and infact she still had Draco's pendant and had no qualms flying it high if she felt they needed to to stave off attacks.


They are moving and she calls down to Leo, [color=#996633]" Angle harder matey the push of the current when you hold the till back towards the left and if that makes him have to strain just a little for a bit and all well nice view but she will keep an eye on him cause she doesn't want him hurt.


Leonardo and Raphael chuckle a bit, not sure if the missing of first mate was intentional but it was cute -


" Leonaaaah! rdo - ummm make sure to brace the boon right there with Raphael to keep the wind blowing directly into that taut." And when they do the ship moves a bit faster under the opposing forces of the current and the wind. She had over reached a bit shifting to get a good look at the wind and water, and cried out a little when it pulls at her wound.


Lilo and Kovu had packed the food and Lilo takes the leftovers below -


Addy knows whilst they are sailing was a good time for her to know if there are issues with the ship when Raph and Lilo get back the pair can search for leaks or sections that are too noisy.


She can hear Duncan's eager " I'm ready!!" and nawwwww has to giggle he is there on Leo's shell and actually trying to push the tiller with him with his feet but can't reach, but straining! so cute... and she wonders how long he will hold out before falling asleep with all the effort he is putting into that?

Lilo skips down the stairs the tied up oiled cloth of food curled up in her tail and humming, " any luck in there Raph?!" she calls out still a little on a high from their shared smoochies and the company of the little fella for a bit.


And indeed she doesn't know but there is a large hour glass shaped drum standing in the corner of the storeroom. It's padded sticks hanging on it.

It also puts him in a somewhat better position to do as requested. This is definitely a much larger boat than Addy's old one, and manning the tiller alone is something of a trick, especially when she wants that harder turn, but Leo knows how his body works and to position himself to strain for awhile without causing damage. And he does so now.

When Addy cries out, Leo looks up from his task, and is slightly forced back by the tiller. He repositions and presses back against it, forcing it back where it needs to be with a light grunt, but once everything is where it needs to be again, he's still looking at her, concerned.

She should be resting! Not out here risking tearing that wound open farther, or it getting infected! On the other hand, they had to move, and he didn't really feel like they had a whole lot of choice in the matter. So he doesn't like it, but he's keeping an eye on her. Paying attention as they continue on.

Raph wandered straight past the drum the first time. But it didn't take him long to come back and find it. Leonardo had organized the store room exceptionally well, after all.

Which should be no surprise. He is a Leonardo... and this one seems especially OCD.

He grins as he takes the drum down and carries it out into the larger space, closing the storage space behind him.

"Sure thing, Sweetheart!" He gives Lilo a quick kiss and hurries back up to bring the drum up at least closer to Addy. He'll gladly pound on the thing, but he'll wait for some sort of instruction before he does so. Just in case there's a special rhythm or something.

Mmmm hmmmm Addy is thoroughly enjoying watching the muscles strain, tail tip flip and curling, yep she wouldn't mind teasing with her claws...


Ouch though and her sound she noted caught Leo's attention, even the big guys by the boom she shifts and waves her good arm and hand, " I am okay focus on your tasks, Raph! I hope you are a good with making a noise, if you position over the latrine roof behind me the sound will reverberate down into the water."


Even if she said she was okay Kovu after placing the lid on the brazier now the flames where dampened down, moved up to check on the wound, the shallower craze from the fangs was fine the puncture Kovu was spending a bit of time poking at.


Leonardo and Raphael brace opposite sides of the boom.


Duncan even makes a little grunting sound as he 'helps' face Oooh so serious!


Lilo giggled and maybe she swooned quite obviously.

Leo watches Addy for a moment, he's not quiiiiiite buying that she's as okay as she's saying.

It's reassuring that Kovu is at her side though. And the timing was excellent because as the big guy's adjusted the boom, it created a little extra pressure against him. Leo growled softly as he pushed against the tiller. He was able to hold the position a little more easily after a moment.

Leo is definitely a bit preoccupied, but Duncan's 'help' is definitely amusing. His words are a little grunted out.

"Thanks, you're very helpful there, Big Guy."

Oh very much amused. He also sneaks a brief glance up to Addy and Kovu. But the moment is past, and it's time to focus as he's straining against the tiller again!

"You got it, La Catitana!" Raph piped up as he hurried across the deck with the drum. He easily brought the instrument up onto the roof where Addy had indicated.

Sure, absolutely he can make some noise! This is a rather different drum though, and Raph takes a moment to sort of get used to the sticks.

At first there's a few experimental bangs on the drum. The center, the edge, can he rub a finger over it and get that weird hum some drums do? Sweeeeet...

The experimental noise gives way to a steady beat.

Boooooorrrriiiiiiiinnnngggg.

That doesn't last long, and Raph's soon making up his own beats on the drum. It's entirely possible that they will go from interesting to obnoxious real quick.

But it is definitely loud!

Addy lets Leo strain, as much as he is watching her, she watches him and keeps an eye on his body language, she lets Raph bang away and Lilo move to maybe dance a little to the beat - and it is sweet - to watch. Wildermann, the girl wasn't too bad.


And she watches Sam and Pip.


She is aware of where everyone is and doing.


And she lets Kovu fuss over her -


Only when she sees a splash does she slowly stand and move to block Raph's music grinning at him, " Not bad you are the drummer when we need it - Raphael back up Leo please, Sam - Pip! eyes on the boom keep Leonardo there! and if you all look to our starboard there are the saviours coming to swim with us." she gestures - ouch should not have done that so enthusiastically.


Duncan is super pleased with himself and proudly points Sish in Raphael's face, " me heeeelp Dad!"


Raphael laughs and nuzzles the kiddoe and his stuffed fish and Leo moving to brace with him on the tiller. " I can see that lilguy that's awesome. ya alright bud?" to Leo.

Leo is enjoying listening to Addy order her crew around, but he can't really give it much more than cursory attention. Because he is pretty well focused on the task he already has.

And it's definitely a relief when Raphael joins him. He half chuckles at Duncan's excited words. He's actually lasted longer than Leo would have expected him to.

"Fine." Is sort of grunted in response to the question as Raphael joins him. He then chuckles a bit as he is given something of a break.

"Though I feel like Duncan and I are superfluous now." It doesn't stop him though, he's still doing his part to keep the tiller in place.

The little break from at least the straining does give him a chance to look starboard and point out the creatures to Duncan. "See the uhh... well, we'd call them whales." Leo doesn't actually know what they're called here.

The relief also gives him a chance to glance up to Addy. He had heard that pained sound back there. He is also sort of looking at Kovu, seeing how the nymph reacted after poking at Addy's injury.

Raph is grinning when Lilo starts dancing, and maaayyyybe gets a little louder. He is also starting to show off there as he gets more comfortable with the sticks and the sounds the drum makes when hit in different ways.

He is sort of grinning innocently at Addy as she moves to sort of block his beat. If she wants him to stop she's going to have to be very straightforward about it! He's having fun, and enjoying watching Lilo dance!

Oooooh hahaha prats! and Addy is definitely sprta on the fence with just letting it continue, the beat was irratic but not half bad for all that and well it was definitely stirring the Mamang up, by now the entire group was there and some breaching their massive forms out of the water and splashing back down. So she lets it continue right up until -


And all on board are treated to the sight of the massive bodied, though small for their true species size int he more vast bodies of water Gedächtnis Esser, caught up in the black and white big sort of oblongish headed Mamangs mouths and being pulled apart, the sort of ray shaped massive mantle flapped its wings wildly and the long tentacles wrapped and tried to escape the feeders but couldn't.


" hahah maybe but all the better to check not he cat yourself - I think I see Kovu heading to the cabin so she might be looking for a wrap or cream or something." Raphael chuckles - he'd enjoyed joining Leo helping ease the burden on the slightly smaller dude. Chuckling when in their efforts to join Leonardo on the boom the Sam and Pip were sort of left dangling cause they just were not quite as tall or strong. Amused by his counterparts enjoyment -


Lilo giggles and dances her way closer - only when a massive bodies Mamang almost as long as the boat leapt upwards next to the vessel and then crashed back down splashing them all with water - she stops the drumming herself sitting on the edge of the heavy instrument, catching Raph's face and smooching him. Just for giving her the delight of the beat to dance to.


Addy maaaaybe hisses a bit as the salty water stings her puncture wound but laughs and wow what a spectacle the Mamangs were putting on for them as they hunted the would be hunter. She couldn't let the crew break up they had to find calmer current to rest in again....


Indeed Kovu was ducking into the cabin going though the shelves there first looking for some balm to help ease the ache and fresh linen to wrap in. If not in here she will check store rooms. Sniffing most things.

Duncna does not mind getting wet again

"Whoooaaaa..." Wow... Holy shell those things are biiiiiig. The word 'awesome' seems completely overused watching these things breach like that. Because that definitely inspires awe.

He's seriously considering Raphael's offer, and actually sort of chuckles at poor Sam and Pip trying to keep up with Leonardo. Yeah... that wasn't going to happen.

Leo had actually enjoyed the splash, and clearly Duncan did too. His chuckle is cut off though, because he's certain he heard a hiss out of Addy. And that's all the incentive he needs.

"You know, I think I will take you up on that offer."

Leo leaves Raphael to the tiller, he can manage fine for at least a little while while Leo goes and checks on Addy. He slips quickly across the deck and makes his way to the roof to check on her.

Raph is still grinning innocently at Addy when the Mamang breaches with the... Yeah, he's not going to try pronouncing that. Kraken-thingie in it's mouth. He stopped drumming and is definitely staring in awe.

That was impressive.

"Better than a standing ovation." He grins. Totally taking credit for that after his wicked drum solo.

And a kiss from Lilo! "Oh, isn't that the perfect cherry on top." Oh, can they do the drumming thing again something? Because that was amazing!

" whooooooooooooooooa daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang even I feel small noooow.' Raphael grumbles a little, but is chuckling and really just caught up in the entire moment. The majesty of the giant water world beasts and the snack they were making of the ray squid thing with the impossible name - not to mention his counterparts crazy but fun sounding drumming and hahaha dawwwwww - good for him enjoying the aftermath.


He turns his attention back to Leo and nods, " go for it - who knows how long captain will make us sail now we are underway." he chuckles and rubs the giggling happy little boys head as Leo heads off happy to brace and wait for him to return.


Little wet and happy boy sings out, " Adi Adddiii I wet - agaaaain!" eagerly and maybe between moments chewing on his wet stuffed fish.


Addy chuckled, she was touched to share this with Leo, with Duncan, with Raph, Raphael and Leonardo - to watch their faces, amused by Lilo gaining Raph's attention and smooching him, well that certainly was a technique she had never thought of to make him stop with the drums. Happily surprised to hear Duncan's voice and look towards them, a grin growing and she purrs gesturing, " really something huh?... oooooh -" maybe favoring her injured side a tad but all in all peppy still bright eyed.


Kovu leaves the capt's cabin to check the other storage areas.


Lilo giggles and presses closer to Raph just so he can feel her heart thudding against his plastron, almost an echo of his drum beat. " soooo exhilarating!" and another smooch cheeks flushed under the furr. And her eyes on him, the Mamang were awe inspiring but he made her heart pound like this.

"Thanks, Big Guy." Leo smiles, and bumps Raphael's arm before heading off to Addy.

He chuckled as Duncan announced he was wet to Addy. Little guy is sort of adorable. There's a gentle smile as Addy speaks.

"They're incredible." And wow, those things really are. They're absolutely enormous. It's amazing.

He's also watching her favor her side. He saw that. She can't hide something like that from him. And he's wishing he spoke some of Kovu's language, he'd like to help her search, but he doesn't actually know what she's looking for.

He's mostly still watching the Mamang, but he's also keeping an eye on Addy.

"So... how are you, really? And how do we get somewhere that you can actually rest for awhile?"

Because as thrilled as he is to take orders from Addy, he's still an alpha, and he doesn't like his team hurting. She's clearly hurting, and he's not interested in letting it get worse than it already is.

Raph grins as Lilo speaks. He pulls her around the drum so they're side by side.

Putting his arm around her, Raph pulls her close. It's not for smoochies this time. This time, it's to enjoy the show.

And an impressive one it is.

Addy raises her eyebrow, but she is smiling and giggles, ring and managing to stand up even if she is a bit sore, " well I am very glad wet is good for turtles and that you like it." leaning past Leo's should to lick the little boys snout -


A nuzzle to Leo's shoulder, " sore... but at least the wound just got a really good rinse out of salt water - hope Kovu finds some balm to numb the area for a bit, feels much better than before your son helped." eyes twinkling and yep she is sore but she is also just enjoying the sailing, nodding behind Leo to draw his attention to a thin out cropping of rocks ahead. " if we head that way a bit longer and and face land before we get too close to the rocks we might find a break from he current and be able to drop anchor for a rest. The Mamang might linger a while hoping we stir up more prey."


A giggle catching sight of Leonardo - who seemed to be a little puckish right now, he helps the omegas help him for a moment then acting like he was shifting his grip a little makes them loose their footing and have to hang dangling there again hahahaa.


Lilo snuggles her tail curling around thigh and just happy to stand, to hold and watch - amazed. " saw them from the islands sometimes... but it's quiet something else entirely to out here among it - getting wet!!

"Nooooope, back down." Leo guides her gently back to a seated position on the roof. She does not need to be up, there's no reason to be up. He moves back down with her to help keep her seated!

He considers it Raphie's job on his team to call his shell out when he's doing something that's not in their best interests, and right now, Leo will do that to Addy.

"Better than before he helped, is not the same as good." A slight smile, but yeah, he knows that trick too well!

Leo is paying attention to the locations she is pointing out. Okay, that makes sense, and hopefully the land formations under the water are what she's expecting. He trusts her though. She'd know.

Then he looks to the Mamang that are still swimming alongside them. "I hope they do. That was pretty cool."

And like Addy, he's also amused at his counterpart messing with the omegas. It's maybe not nice, but it's definitely in fun.

"Suppose they're actually helping, or is that more of a hinderance?" He's sort of waiting to see what Kovu has, but he won't wait forever. He's already looking like he's getting a little restless here, watching and not helping.

Raph chuckles softly at Lilo's words. Yeah, he would imagine that watching these creatures from a distance would be rather different than being right out here with them like they are now.

"Definitely something." He chuckled for a moment at the last. "Definitely wet too."

Just sort of hanging out and enjoying her company so long as they're not actively being given another job to do yet.

Kovu is excited when she returns and we'll she knows by now Leo will know she is approaching but still she makes as much noise as possible! And pats the little happy boys she'll and touches the large shoulder holding up a little earth pot with a wood lid.


Ooooh Addy flicked Leo with her tail and purrs shifting, " mmmm no not goooood, but not as bad... just feeling a tad raw and tender from moving about... oh some numbing paste!" in relief and delight seeing the little tub and definitely seated where Leo encouraged ready for the balm! And smiling the nymph even had some fresh linen to wrap the injury and she makes sure to kiss Leo's cheek, " Thanks Leo, trying not to worry you too much, I will be okay now once she gets that on and once we are out of the current we can all rest up properly for some serious hard sailing tomorrow." she purrs right there against the spot she kissed laughing and shrugging, " pretty sure the omegas are no help there but send them off to get their hammocks ready in the brig and something for Raph and Lilo, Leonardo and Kovu and Raphael where ever they want it cause those two are going to peg that drum down and then get us drinks and relight the brazier - you will need to help Leonardo pull the boom to slow us as we approach the reefing and leaving the current so we don't travel all the way to the Rocks and hit them" cause she could see he was ready to work! But of a playing grin, cause she didn't mention him too as she assumed Leo would be joining her that adorable happy little turtle who suddenly yawned so hard he just about could not reopen his eyes!


Lilo nods breathless sort of with the wonder and snuggling Raph tighter for a moment. " mmmm second best sort of wet.... And really something alright, I think I am truly enjoying sailing... especially with you."

Leo is curious when Kovu comes back. She seems excited, so evidently she found whatever she had been looking for.

"Okay," As long as that's all it is. And numbing paste definitely sounds promising. Like it would be what she needs at the moment. He chuckles at her saying she's trying not to worry him. "Have you met me?" He's almost always worrying about someone or something. Which she has probably noticed.

Another chuckle at the omegas being no help. No... they didn't seem to be helping much. And he listens carefully to her instructions, and is amused by Duncan's yawn that seemed bigger than he is. Once he has those instructions from Addy, he leans in close to her ear.

"Aye, Captain." And a brief churr while he's close enough to aaallllmost touch.

Then he's gone.

Off to set the omegas on their new task and maybe actually help Leonardo. Though the larger turtle does have several inches on Leo too. He's probably better equipped to hold his own with Leonardo's play though. Or at least walk that line where it's difficult enough to mess with Leo that it's at least not worth Leonardo's energy, but not so difficult that their task is affected.

Raph is definitely enjoying this moment and is amused at Lilo's words.

"Definitely has it's perks." Of sailing, and having Lilo here.

And funniest of all for Leonardo, the omegas both thought the were of great help. He is chuckling when Leo orders them away - calling out he wanted the bed up in the crow's nest - with Kovu - maybe a fond sort of glance at the nymph currently fussing over their captain - speaking of which he eyes Leo and his sleepy little backpack kid, " I assume the captain is doing fairly well?" but its a warm sort of grin and he really is checking in just to be certain, shifting the boom back to it's original height and waiting for he assumed a change in direction from his counterpart. Maybe thinking of playing with him too but also not really cause there is a kiddo on the guys shell!


Duncan's attempt at helping again - ended in a little bit of a snore - his reaching fingers sort of flopping to Leo's shoulders.


Addy's louder purr and definitely a definitely draw out excitable shiver! very visibly for Leo - maybe only a whisper but heck it felt nice. - and ahhhhhhh she kinda hisses this time in relief as Kovu's soft fingers brush over her naked skin and spread the numbing strong smelling balm around the edge of the puncture and down the shoulder and back even over her neck and jaw line it was a wonderful sense of relief deeper than the ariki's buzz, not quiet as numbing as right after Duncan's help but almost and for that Addy's grateful but mindful not to overdo it just because she feels good as Sam and Pip set up a snoozing place for Leonardo and Kovu in the crows nest Sam having to be encouraged the whole way cause the cowardly lowen was afraid of heights


The pair managing to come down and move towards Raph and Lilo to figure out where they want to be for the night rest. Lilo giggling and missing the first words nuzzling into Raph and nipping at his cheek lightly, " hahah the best perks." blinking and eyeing the two curiously.

Pip grins and asks again, " capt says get beds ready where are you two resting?"

"Fairly.' Leo confirmed of Addy as ge moved into position. Chuckling at Duncan's attempt to help, abandoned in favor of sleep. And Addy being mostly okay did seem to be the case. "Seems to be mostly just sore... and Kovu found a numbing paste." Leo is still not interested in letting it get worse than necessary though.

"We want to face land and anchor before that outcropping. And we need to slow enough we don't hit the rocks or reef."

He is quietly paying attention to Sam and his hesitance to climb to the Crow's Nest.

"Heh... Poor Guy." Sure, he overcame that fear long ago, but he still remembers it.

Raph looked over at Pip, then to Lilo.

"On deck or below?" He asked. He's not really picky. The pile of sails he woke up in this morning wasn't terrible. He'd have probably slept there again if he weren't being asked about a bed now.

Listening to the instructions and grinning a bit Leonardo shifts and stands once they had began to slowly approach the desired patches of water with Raphael on the till over there throwing his weight and strength into getting the vessel into turning the way Addy desired it to for the night, the Mamang were still splashing along with them probably hoping they were stirring up more deep water hunters they could eat. The big blue turtle only then once he feels the turn is in control and their reaching the spot responds, " that's good I know you have been concerned, we all have, glad there is help for her and she is recovering a bit at a time." that mattered and aside from the fact they did need her to sail on and know where they were going he is just glad because she was a good friend. He nods at Duncan. " little guy has had a big day, hard to recall he is the same young turtle I met just days ago,." the lean little dude had to much Dona in him to ever be a truly pudgy toddler shape but he was more normal toddler shaped and so clean he shone like some jewel, much healthier, sleeping well, and speaking so much clearer.


A soft chuckle and nod, " never been afraid of heights myself but I do understand it can be rather crippling, I am pleased the guy managed to fight through it." Leonardo feared very little, aside from the nightmares of being absolutely helpless to protect his father, his brothers, whatever mates they might one day have, whatever if any kids they might all one day sire, he was a very large, alpha bullet proof, cure all mutagen filled ninja turtle so fear was known but nothing to the almost wetting her pants fear April had experienced when the almost fell to her death, he recalled her having to be carried from the scene and in near hysterics. And that had been horrible to listen to. So he definitely sympathised with Sam and agreed with Leo, poor guy, but a touch of pride for the guy, he faced it and went up. " I'll get the guy a drink of sometype some time for going up there for Kovu and I."0


Lilo thinks about it and chews her lip, then grins, " would you like our little space in the lower decks?" she wonders with a happy smile tail brushing along his leg and smiling at the omega wolf man.


" Raph whilst your bed is being set up can I get you and Lilo to make sure the drum is secure, there should be ropes somewhere to tie it up, and get the white pendant down from the flag stop, put up the Draco pendant, it might prevent anyone from trying to attack us during the night." she knew those two were good climbers and the pendant should offer them some protection. relaxing and Kovu is spreading the numbing gel.


Lilo nods of course they could do that and they didn't need to climb all the way up into the crows nest she knew by now just to the top of the larger sail and reach the ropes that held the flags. Waiting for Raph's agreement with their little spot below decks and for Pip to move off before they got to their task.

Leo is concentrating on the task at hand, and what is easy enough for his counterpart is actually just enough that Leo has to focus on the task at hand. Not straining like he was on the tiller by himself, but definitely not easy as they make that turn.

His response to the concern about Addy is really more of a grunt. Yes, he was concerned, and still is, really. But... well... sort of his default state. But yes, he had worried. He had worried a lot.

Leo adjusted his position, and could more easily accomplish his task, as their turn adjusted. He could relax enough to talk a bit more.

"Tell me about it." He commented fondly of Duncan. Poor little guy had come a long way since Leo found him on that beach.

He spared a glance to see how poor Sam was doing.

"Definitely crippling. It's almost impossible to breathe, much less move. Your own heartbeat is so loud you can't hear anything else, much less follow a helpful direction." Yeah, clearly been there, done that. But definitely not afraid of heights anymore. He made the same crazy jumps, and walked the same cliff faces the others did

Leo chuckled at the promise to get the guy a drink.

"He probably won't know what to do with himself."

He actually feels a bit bad for the omegas. They're really Omegas, not like Mike who can still manage, and can hold his own when the situation requires it. These are terrified, straight up Omegas.

"Works for me. Nice hangover spot."

The last mostly poking fun at himself. He turned to Pip.

"That nook belowdecks would be fine. Thanks."

He is grinning and nuzzling Lilo through Addy's instructions. He'll absolutely do it, but there's a hint of a jokester loom to him.

Well... there is most of the time. Nothing new.

"Yooouuuu got it, La Catitana! He offered Lilo a hand up. "Let's go see how hard it is to find rope on a ship. He anticipates... not hard at all, and moves to take Lilo belowdecks to find an appropriate weight rope for the job.

And maybe snog her all the way.

Leonardo chuckles a little at the grunt and nods, " yeah I get it, worried is like a Leo staple... well for three of four of us here... and who knows maybe out there int he multiverse there is a Leo who is more Mike than any of use? or... like the lil Mikey fellow?" what a concept!


He does smile though, the captain for the moment looked happy with their progress and called for them to start resiting the wind and striking the ship off the current - ordering Leonardo to drop the anchor and for Leo and Raphael to brace themselves for a moment as the ship is brought to a stop. out of the main current but on the edge so if they are dragged towards the roks Addy knows they will miss them. Barly. But would.


Leonardo waves a hand and goes to move off to his task pausing to listen to Leo and nod, " yeah, I understood it must have been an awful time for our April when she almost fell from an antennae dangling from the skyscraper... she cried a lot and still has nightmares sometimes, wish we could erase that moment from our Hogosha's memories but... she is getting better with it."a bit of a laugh and nod, " the face will be priceless." agreed. But if it would make the omegas a little more comfortable in Addy's crew, all good.

Addy laughs calling out as they hurry off. [color=#Raph you are in charge of painting that name on the boat sometime."[/color] smiling and happy for the pair, resting back... then spotting how they were going and calling out instructions to get the boat in the best position for a rest stop.


Laughing and flicking Raph with her tail, right against his snout as Pip hurries off she waggles her butt his way - " well we could always try the ariki again if ya want.... or a little more play with less friendly fire this time." giggling and following him down, they would find what they needed easy enough, the rope and pendant to fly, she makes an ick face and refuses to carry the drakos symbol covered pendant. but she is happy to take the rope.


And even better finding what they needed quickly they had a few moments under the pretence of searching she grins and kisses him, mmmm a small snog break would be perrrrfect!
