Leo chuckles softly at Addy’s statement. He agrees. Duncan is a cutie. And he is noticing her scent is stronger today, but he still doesn’t really know what to do about it. And it’s almost strange to him that Duncan’s presence seems to help. Though that’s distracting in its own way...

And then there’s the nerves coming off Raphael in waves. Despite his clear attempts to ward it off. Leo almost finds it amusing. That’s something his own brother would do, and it makes Leo feel a little homesick.

Too many distractions. Leo rolls his shoulders and goes through a light meditation technique to clear his mind. He’s still present, but it allows him a little more control over his own focus. It’s a tool in his arsenal, and right now... he’s needing every tool he has.

Duncan hopped a little on his feet.


He gleefully accepts Leo's hand to hold, Sish gripped firmly in the fingers wrapped about the larger turtles fingers and he has no idea really what cutie means but he does know when the females say it he feels good and so he puffs out his little plastron and as much as a three year old could he struts after Addy when the walk starts again.


And his free hand reachs as they walk to brush the leaves or trees they passed so very curious about everything!

Oooooh she grins and lowers her long tail to flick Duncan's little snout, giggling when he batters at it playfully, amused by his little strut and the way he held onto Leo firmly with Sish other hand reaching feeling - she was careful to flick him with her tail if he was reaching towards anything she though looked like it might be a problem.


She was some what familiar with the nasties of the island enough to at least keep his fingers safe from possible thrones or stinging sap. Waiting for Lilo's answer as she would have had the better estimation of their travels.

Oh.... girl is distracting! Not that he minds, but he's pretty sure these counterparts already think he's something of a joke. Well... whatever. He smiled at Lilo's accuracy when answering Little Blue's question.

And Raphael's clearing of the path was actually rather impressive.

"Who'd've thought that a wooden weapon would be so good at clearing out all this wood." Well... more vines. Still, Raph has to say something to keep himself amused. And calm. Even he can feel the nerves coming off the Big Guy.

Leonardo smiles a bit into the growing light but the still shady jungle listening, feeling, sniffing, generally all senses on complimenting his counterparts no doubt on high alert senses more towards the front.


" Well seeing as we are heading that way maybe we will go get some tradable goods first. Then maybe recon our foes. If their planning an ambush I doubt they'll go too far anticipating we will show up."


A smile at the little boys enjoyment.  And boy he was glad Addy's heat seemed to be peaking, soon it would wane and he would not be so hard.

Lilo enjoys being distracting. not that she wanted to make keeping up or remaining focused hard on Raph. it was that she really liked gaining and holding his attentions and made no secrets about it.


however she is also being subtle about it, mostly because for now they were trekking and all senses on their surroundings and partly because they were closing in on the caves she'd seen, " I'd have to go up again to get an idea how far off the hunters camp is but we shooould be not too much more sun movement to the cave. We it gets over head and our shadows are under us we might be close."


Time was usually measured this way, the sun or moon or stars moving.

Leo chuckles softly at the puffed up little strut from the child next to him. It was good to see the little guy so happy. Especially as they learn more about what it was like for him before coming here. He squeezed the little hand in his own as they continued to walk.

Addy was clearly keeping an eye on what the plants were near them and what was unsafe for the child to touch and Leo gives her a smile of thanks. He generally doesn't know why she's keeping Duncan from touching certain plants, but he's learning a bit about which ones should be avoided through it too. He can tell the obvious ones with thorns, but some of the others he wouldn't know to avoid. Now he does.

"Agreed. We're already here. Even though I'm sure they'll know we need something to trade, it would definitely be easier and a much more sure thing to wait for us near the port."

He would normally tell his brothers to stay sharp, but... with the group he's in here, he doesn't feel the need to. He knows darn well that his own counterpart won't let his guard down, and Raphael is a bundle of nerves. So he's just as unlikely to relax. Even the little Raph seems to be paying attention. Almost like he's actually feeding off the energy of the other turtles. Good.

"I know uh..." He glances forward to Raphael and changes his mind about what he was about to say. "where we're headed, but is there anything we could be keeping an eye out for now before we get to the caves that might be useful?"

In efforts to calm Raphael as much as possible whilst not over powering conversation and not smothering their senses -. He churrs a certain sort of churr, more a sound only in his plastron a role, resonating and deep but not loud in all their ears.

Lilo helps along Addy's watchfulness, whispering softly to Raph and Leo, " Those broadr leaves with the curl of the tip they are stinging nettles they have little spines all over the plant like small hairs. Nasty. And those thorns have a hooked sort of end that grip at skin...." Though her voice tails away and she mmmmmms a little tad louder in thought at Leo's question. Smiling at Leonardo who nods he was content to follow and along and was curious about her answer she knew, she casually tail flicks across Raph's plastron as she nods a little.


" We should probably craft a grass basket each to put some cave and herbs and stuff in for the trade... Some of those faintly green glowy mushrooms up those trunks are highly valuable and prize, they go to making special moon teas for females ..." She breaks formation a little to start scouting for grasses. Long blades of it. The baskets themselves were not to difficult even in the low shaded dawn light they had. A little early and the darkness would have made showing them how to peel each long blade of grass in half than begin to knot bits together to form a simple and large sort of mesh square, the ends of which could be threads by another thick long blade and pulled up to form a loose basket. it was not perfect for small things but would hold large items and she showed them they could layer with leaves to make them more closed in.


" Addy might now some valuable herbs and stuff too..." She was saving most of the room in her bag for bigger prizes but some mushrooms would not go amiss.

The hand squeeze makes Duncan giggle a bit and skip a few happy steps quite content to bat playfully at Addy's tail not aware she was using the tactic to keep him and hand off of some things.

Addy smiles, she can hear Lilo moving about and grins over her shoulder, a smile at Leo and Duncan the little boy was so happy. And whatever Leonardo was doing was working, Raphael was slightly less wound she could see the huge shoulders unbunch. And Lilo was quieter in tone. And she felt too calmer.


She nods, " I know the local fauna and flora yeah, I'll look about when we reach the caves." and do a bit of hunter gathering then.

Raphael heard the change in topic and he is curious about it but - Leonardo's sound is soothing. in a good way he is able to focus on it mostly solely and give away his nerves and unease for the moment.


Listening and a grin back at Raph, " It does help having all this muscle behind it but yes sometimes wooden weapons can be effective without it all, just take any Donnie I assume. Unassuming but guy could give you a concussion." It had been a long time since his Don had used a wooden staff though his all specially made materials and designed. He listens and swaps his wooden large knife for the long grass strips and ... well he knits so this was easy. And of course there was that sense of accomplishment making his own 'man bag' to carry everything in.

Raph is enjoying the tail game, and doesn't realize how much Lilo distracting him resembles Addy's distraction of the child! Probably for the best, really. He quite likes this game.

"Glowy mushrooms? Do they dance too?" Not that the fact that they were used in moon tea wasn't enough, but... Actually that's sort of disappointing. Glowing mushrooms should at least cause hallucinations.

He grins at Raphael's response to his comment. "Unassuming, huh? Not the word I'd use for my brother. Assumes a lot. Makes up more. But... Concussion sure. Taking out these vines and shrubs? Not so much."

Raph attempts to follow Lilo's example and make a basket as well... and... he's tied his hands together with multiple blades of grass.

"Uh... this right...?"

Leo sighs, also responding to the comforting churr, relaxing. It was the sort of relaxing though that actually helped him to reach out with his senses a little farther. So far at least, they seemed to be in the clear as they made their way toward the caves. As they got closer, he was sure that would change. For now though... he doesn't feel out of line taking a moment to chuckle softly at Duncan's antics and they way he was playfully batting at Addy's tail when she kept him away from the more dangerous plants.

He listens to the information from Lilo and Addy and nods.

"Hunh... our stinging nettle have a lot of medicinal qualities. Only a few people harvest them though, for... well... obvious reasons."

Once Lilo is showing them how to make the baskets, he watches for awhile at first before attempting his own. It's not as neat as hers, or as Raphael's! But it should be serviceable.

Leonardo has to ask, his voice gravelly with his rumble. " glowy... dancing... mushrooms.... suddenly I am glad all I do when high is go on a cleaning frenzy."


Amused by Raph's attempt at the basket but not saying so and well... his attempt was terrible... it would hold but no where near as neat as Lilo's or Raphael's - marginally worse than Addy's.

Addy slows a little so she is beside Duncan, the little boy in between her and Leo, a grin at him. " There is some use for the stinging nettles here too, but your right not a fave to pick and carry. Though can fetch a bit... Though I don't want to risk it.... Risk any near Duncan."


A warmer smile at Leo, one that cast down to the little bright minded turtle between them, recalling how the kid almost climbed out of his pen first time. She was trying to not get closer attached but mostly failing very happily.

Lilo fought a laugh, she was curious how such big hands of Raphael could perform the knotting so easily. But glad. And Leonardo wasn't making a bad effort either, Addy of course being a sailor had knots down to an art.


And Leo wasn't doing too badly neither.


She smiles, " Baskets looking great guys, they all look serviceable... oooh." she giggles at Raph and moves closer to him catching those bound hands between her own her tail flicking up the centre of his plastron from lowest edge to the hollow of his throat. " It's actually betterrrrr - ahem but now is not the time for that knid of knotting." she only partiall teases, playfully compliments and helps him distangle his hands. Though clearly she was tempted to leave them on.


If it were not for their current situation she might ask if he'd like a little bound play but as it was...


Bah another time... " from what I can tell your knots are perfect, it was just somehow your loops caught your hands." another soft giggle, " plenty of us who use this technique have caught our hands or tails on occasion in the same waymore than once."

Duncan grinned when he was given some grass too... but wasn't sure what to do with it. And it was only when he put Sish in his mouth he could hold the grass with on hand... and look at it - bringing it close to his snout to eye the color and sniff... stumbling a little on the uneven ground thanks to forgetting he had feet and watching where he was going.

He is finishing his basket, neatly completing the knots, chuckling at Raphs words, " mostly unassuming in regards to Donatello - though he hasn't used a wooden weapon for many years. He does have one encase his is broken..." finishing the looping and testing his basket. " Faaar easier than knitting."


Leonardo behind them all chuckles and Raphael gives him a birdie finger - " hey Leo.... can you... like whenever we leave Nexus... is there a way back, you guys have come here right?" and Raphael can tell by the way Leonardo's chuckles fall away but the soothing sound stays that the question had been on his brothers mind. After all they had plenty of motivation to come back. Even if they come back and find out they'd been unsuccessful. In that manner.


A glance and grin down at the little guy.

Leo chuckles at his counterpart's comment on the mushrooms. "It's a movie... sort of." He glanced over at Raph for confirmation. "Old one. From the '40s."

He smiles at Addy's response about the stinging nettle. "No... no we definitely don't want it around Duncan." Though under other circumstances, Leo would take his chances with the plant. But they're not under other circumstances.

There's a subtle brush of the back of his hand against hers as they move.

And he pretends that he didn't catch Lilo's brief exchange with Raph about the knots being 'better.'

Leo then grabs another piece of grass and kneels down briefly next to Duncan, showing him slowly how to make a single knot in the blade of grass. It's not the sort of knot that Lilo has been showing them. Just a simple overhand knot in the blade of grass. And he hands it to the child before responding to Raphael.

"Yeah... we've been here.  We drew the sigil on a wall and chanted. And... I think you need a clean puddle too. He thinks for a moment. "It took us to the Capitol for the Battle Nexus Championship. I don't know how to open one to anywhere else in the Nexus. There are other sigils for other worlds too, but it seems those sigils are harder to come by. Fewer people know them."

Raph grinned at his counterpart.”Sounds like my Donatello and yours are a little different.”

He chuckled at Lilo’s play and the tail to his plastron. He smirked slightly when she sais that now was not the time. Now not being the time did not discount later.

He was mildly concerned for a moment when he was pretty sure Lilo wanted to leave his hands tied up. He glances up at the knitting comment. ”I better not try knitting...”

Addy is not quiet sure what to make of the brush of hands, it could have been entirely accidental. But there is a smile none the less and a muffled hahahaing at Lilo and Raph, amused by the comments - well Lilo sounded adventurous.


In that regard.


She is distracted from that and turning Raphael a bit more ahead of them towards the ground and slightly more opn cover around the place where the valley floor levels out a bit and the mountain ends, there the ahead of them the caves, a couple quiet obvious and open and one obviously guarded entrance with webbing across it. Others she could see might be just indentations in the rock wall with over growths or might be caves themselves. Either way there was probably going to be some exploration.


She smiles at the way Leo takes a moment to show the little fellow what to do with the grass. Learning to knot might be an important skill for the kid one day. If anything would strengthen his hand and eyes and reflect in his brand new writing skills.

Duncan hopped about excitedly when Leo came down to his level, and began showing him the grass knotting, a simple one, though to him Duncan it was beyond fascinating and he first holds Leo's wrists very lightly watching, the few strands of grass he had dropping from his hands and after a moment when the first knot was complete, Sish, from his mouth as he oooohs in wonder.


" meee tooo?' now it was his turn to give it a go... but he wanted to pick up sish... he picks up the stuffed toy and holds it out to Addy to hold for him, once she'd taken it he boops the toy on it's fishy 'nose' and trys this new thing dad just showed him, at first his knots pulling free. And making him hu?h and oh? and mmmm?

Leo chuckles and smiles up at Addy when Duncan hands her the fish.

He then turns his smile to the child. He was ready to help if Duncan got frustrated, but he let the boy explore on his own. He had seen the knot once, and was working hard trying to imitate it. The little turtle reminded Leo so much of Don... and Don liked to figure out things like this on his own. So Leo is there should Duncan become frustrated with the task, or if he seems to want to see the knot again, but in the meantime... Leo rubs the child's head and lets the boy experiment with the grass.

He looks up at the caves that they seem to be approaching. One is covered with web... high risk... high reward. And... he's faaaiiiirrrly confident they could take on the spinotods again. The other two caves... potentially lower risk? Is there something on this island worse than a spinotod?

Leo boops Duncan on the snout.

"We're getting close to the caves. I think we're going to try putting you on Addy's back this time." He looks to her for confirmation of that statement. Though they could go a little farther before they worry about it. And he can take the child again if he needs to. He just doesn't feel like he can help protect the group as effectively that way.

Leonardo let them sort of fallen out of formation single file completely fall apart by now and he is eyeing and making the same sort of assessments Leo was of the caves, though he hums a little and steps ahead a little to sniff and listen encase there was any smells or sounds coming form the caves.


" Also before we proceed please Lilo, Addy what ... anything should we should keep and eye on or look for going in?" A big heads up for all of them.

" ooooh I don't know your knots are great if knitting is similar you'd probably manage it just fine, these are goo knots you just caught your wrists." She kisses Raph's snout untying his hands and grinning handing him another grass basket and looking over at Leonardo the pout on her lips one of thought and her tail tip flicks back and forth as she thinks about her answer.


"Well there might be a Mountain Troll in there... goblins... spinutod males will have gone to ground and will try to avoid the daylight. Females will be feeding young or making young or guarding egg sacks."

“Goo knots? Pretty sure it means you’ll turn to goo before you get out of them!” Raph wiggles his hands a bit and only succeeds in wrapping them up tighter, nearly undoing Lilo’s work and he makes a soft, nervous, but apologetic chuckle followed by a soft noise that is definitely not a whimper... before she gets him free.

Once free he laughs and hugs her! Before accepting the bag with a slightly embarrassed thanks.

”Met the Spinotod. I remember those. Now there’s mountain trolls and goblins. Sounds like paradise.” He pauses a moment and even though it’s Lilo, he can’t quite keep from running his mouth again. “Can we pretend that some of us aren’t from around here, and have no idea what those are?”

And he watches Leonardo for a moment.

“Oh, good, Big Blue is sniffing. This will end well. Everything is going to be juuuust fine.” Perhaps getting tied up in knots and being a bit embarrassed about it is dragging out a bit more sarcasm than might be entirely wise with this group at the moment. He yelps softly as Little Blue snaps his bandanna tails.

" an ooold movie? what was it called maybe we have seen a alternative version." Leonardo heard Raph Justas he is adding curiously to Leo as he processes what Lilo had started with he was expecting more details -


But he wasn't rushing the moments listening and sniffing and feeling...


" more than likely since our Mikey loves old movies." a grin and he is shuddering upon seeing the webbing but managing not to pace about, chuckling at Raph and Lilo.

She laughs and nods not worried the knorts tightened first merely setting about undoing the latest binding, " verrry much sooo very very much soooo goo knots... mmm hmmmm gotta turn to goo ... after release.' giggling, " We'll make an exception this time." She finally has him free and squeaks at the hug managing a squeeze back and grinning.


A glance at Raphael, ' he's about as big as a mountain troll, their loud and cranky usually eating the soft underside of bark from trees, sap too, they are big and loud but wont bother us unless goblins have trained them to."

Addy grins and nods beginning to pull the leather hard tub off her back and pulling it open to get the very tightly rolled sling out and give it a shake. " I'm okay with that." and she hadn't worn the sling much but she has had practice briefly before so pulls it on to be on her back even if she wanted him on her chest now was not the moment and she might need her hands.


That on she kneels and smiles at Duncan.


He had been focusing on the knots - and almost walked into Leo this time blinking and as he pulls the single knot true for the first time he is eye to eye with his fave big turtle and nods smiling up at Addy. Then back at Leo. [color=#8B008B]" oootaaay - me ride! I rr -

A big round drop of water splished against his bald purple head -" huh?"


Addy looks up with Lilo.


Leonardo muttering, " I knew I smelt moisture.' though rain wasn't his primary concern.


Addy and Lilo though were both judging the color and speed of the clouds forming over head.

"Fantasia. It's an old Disney movie... Not your typical one. Mostly animated characters dancing to classical music. One of the dances is performed by mushrooms."

Leo was still kneeling near Duncan and was bout to ask Lilo a question about the goblins, but he's distracted by the child successfully completing a knot!

"Good job, Little Ninja! I knew you could do it."

And then the rain... He chuckles at the child's reaction then picks up Duncan to help get the child onto Addy's back. He hesitates as he notes the girls reading the sky. He nuzzles the child instead. Even as he does so, he makes a couple notes about what he's seeing in the sky, though he doesn't know the weather patterns of the Nexus. He's grateful to have the girls here who do!

"So... what are we in for?"

Leo is matter of fact with a slight air of whatever this storm brings, they'll deal with it. Though he did note the smaller Raph muttering something that Leo can only assume is snarky.

Raphael is amused by his counterpart and Lilo, less amused about the news there were Trolls as big as he was. Still bring it! " Sound slike a old black and white classics movie Michelangelo used to enjoy watching over and over. am I bigger and stronger than any of these mountain trolls."


He looks up and shifts a bit, being a turtle he was not too worried about rain, he'd enjoy the water and the cool. though he did look at the girls too noticing their looks.

Duncan is very pleased with the praise and waves his knotted grass about once release from the hug so very very happy for it and all giggle - and he'd gotten good at getting into the sling now ... until there was thunder... he'd never heard anything like that!

A scared screech escaped him - two legs and head vanished into his shell, his hands out and holding onto Leo as much as he could!


" It will be a storm... we should probably see if any of those caves are shallow enough to keep off the ground and out of the worst of it a bit.' Addy advises smiling at Leo over her shoulder.


Lilo nods agreing. " there will be wind and rain and oooooooooooooo yeah as big as you Raphael... though not sure about as strong."

"Ours is actually in color." Leo comments on the movie.

Leo had been looking up at the sky when the thunder crashed, and Duncan's startle draws his attention back to the child. He laughs softly at the arms sticking out of the shell.

"Yeah... sometimes I wish we could still do that."

He peers down at where Duncan's head should be.

"It's just a storm, Little Ninja. Come on out. Let's see if any of those caves will suit our purposes."

"We can't put you in the sling like this." Never mind that the child is scared. Still, Leo is speaking softly, and hoping to keep the boy calm. Leo can carry him for now. He churrs softly, hoping to encourage Duncan to come out. If anything happens, he'll hand the boy off to Addy.

Raphael grins, " sounds better then our version - huh.... been a while since I've pulled into my shell like that."


To his counterpart as Lilo is giggling and Addy saying " Mountain trolls as big and bigger than Raphael but uglier... with bad tempers and poor hygiene... Goblins about as big as Leo, mishapened but clever. And well yeah we all met the spinutods... and from how fast those clouds are going Leo and that - lightning we should probably find some shelter good thing we were heading in to find goods anyways."


" hah if Leonardo says something stinks remember to get in fast with the he who smelt it dealt it." amused.


Duncan meanwhile popped his head back out eyes wide and round and he squeals, leags popping back out hanging onto Leo, " s ss ssst oooooorm?"

Raph looks up as the thunder rumbles then chuckles at the kid pulling into his shell. "We can pull our heads in. Not arms and legs though.

"Uglier than that?" Raph snarks before taking the Mikey way out of looking absolutely as adorable as he can. Though once again... he's preeeettty sure his counterpart won't kill him for it. Pretty sure... The comment had mostly because it had been an obvious opening. And something that wide open is difficult to pass up. Sort of like the He who smelt it dealt it one that Raphael was talking about now. And Raph grinned in response.

Leo chuckles at Raphael's comment about it having been awhile since he pulled himself into his shell, and acknowledges Raph's comment on the matter. "We could when we were kids. Don and Mikey can sort of pull their heads in still when properly motivated, but not completely.

He listens to Addy's information, and mostly ignores the banter between the Raphaels.  

"Then it sounds like we at least have the beginnings of a plan. Let's go check out those caves."

When Duncan pops out of his shell, Leo snugs him close. "Addy... I think I'll carry him for now, and hand him to you if it becomes necessary..." He's frowning though. He would prefer to put the child on her back so they can move and fight more easily, but the child is scared. "I don't want him trying to pull into his shell while in the sling."

Even as he's talking, he's starting to nudge his travelling companions again. This time in the direction of the caves.

Addy was muffling all sorts of happy sounds watching Duncan - nuzzling him as he reappears slowly, a grin at Leo and leaning in to kiss Leos lips just gently, " Whenever he is ready Leo." a purr as the frightened boy clutches at the bigger turtle hanging on for dear life it seemed - the big fat raindrops were coming more again.


and she could hear it was the beginning there was that quiet that wasn't quiet of the jungle.


So she was happy to move towards the caves angling the group towards one that was more an outcropping of rock they just barely made it to when the rain stopped dropping and a deluge hit with a rush of wind and crash of thunder, she rubs his little blue knee. Hoping to help Leo ease the little guys worries.

A nod and their moving, just out of the torrential rain that came down and watching his counterpart and the boy for a moment, then watching the rush of rain and whoaing a little bit. " whoa a jungle rain... are we tucking the girls in one of these shallow caves with Duncan or staying between us?" indicating them all and quiet content to follow on this.


And maybe enjoying the storm , having not seen it like this in the city. So loud and lightning so very bright. City lights and noise usually dulled such unless high up on roof tops and usually they headed back underground when it started just because it usually made patrolling for trouble harder.


Sometimes they stuck it out waiting and used the damp slippery conditions to their advantage.

Leo almost responds to the kiss and half freezes. Oh that was nice... he wants more of that, but--! And never mind that now is definitely not the time. It was only a brief moment, but Leo is forcing his attention back to the task at hand. He holds Duncan close and adds his own low, comforting churr for the child to Addy's purr.

Though Leo is eager to move, he is also cautious. Especially since Duncan is with them. The last time they fully separated had been near disastrous. And though he knows the situation is different this time, he is hesitant to separate again. He definitely doesn't want to leave the girls and Duncan alone, cornered in a cave.

"I'm inclined to wait this out together if we can... Last time we separated didn't go so well. Addy, Lilo, how long do you think this thing is going to last?" Leo knew that a New York storm usually didn't last very long. Usually a half hour or so, but... this is not only a jungle, this isn't even his world. He has no point of reference.

And if his counterpart is really listening, his words say 'hold,' but his tone says he could be convinced of other action fairly easily.

Raphael's eyes narrowed a bit, but there was a snort and sloooow sort of smirk as he chivvies laggers into the cover with the Leo's and Addy, " You should see Leonardo in the morning.' hiding laughter, impressed and pleased by his small counterparts in the way he teased him. Well Raphael knew he was huge. So any one comfortable enough teasing him was impressive.


Though he expected such from a version of himself. A glance at the two Leo's and he grunst a little, " It's pretty... and boy never seen Rain like this... or heard it... or seen but lets wait it out before we try dashing into caves for goodies yeah?" To Leonardo backing up the Leo and smiling when there was a grin at him.

Lilo is giggling at Raph's words to the giant Raphael and squeezes one of Raph's hands, " You are a brave one, warrior." only a playing whispered tease and compliment as it was brave to tease the mountain trolls sized turtle.


Her tail curling and uncurling as they hurry into the over hang of the rock out cropping and she shrugs a little at Leo's question. Raphael's eyes narrowed a bit, but there was a snort and sloooow sort of smirk as he chivvies laggers into the cover with the Leo's and Addy, " You should see Leonardo in the morning.' hiding laughter, impressed and pleased by his small counterparts in the way he teased him. Well Raphael knew he was huge. So any one comfortable enough teasing him was impressive.


Though he expected such from a version of himself. A glance at the two Leo's and he grunst a little, " It's pretty... and boy never seen Rain like this... or heard it... or seen but lets wait it out before we try dashing into caves for goodies yeah?" To Leonardo backing up the Leo and smiling when there was a grin at him.

Raph heard Lilo's giggle at his snark, and really that only spurns him on. Her comment earns a cheeky grin. And... well... once he's going it's hard to stop. Also... Raph has never seem this sort of weather, and he doesn't want to admit that it makes him a little nervous. This is just how he deals.

"Well, you and Little Blue already established that he smells like a beast man. Face to match, huh?"

"Hey, don't bring me into this!"

"Ya shouldn't start something you can't finish, Dude."

Listening to Lilo's response to how long she expects the storm to last, Raph grumbles slightly.

"With our luck it will definitely be days..."

Addy remains close to Leo - giggling a little at his attempt to retreat from the teasing that was taking place, brushing her shoulder against his and agreeing with Raph their luck was definitely on a slide at the moment, perhaps it would turn around though who knew?


She stays close nuzzling the little head of Duncan who still seemed unsure of what to make of the storm, the rain, and maybe nuzzling Leo too whiskers and fur soft just soothing the little tremors of Duncan, who in Leo's arms was definitely feeling safer. " Might be a good thing Trolls will try to stay out of the rain and goblins are not a fan either so they might all be hunkered down for the day. Might make it easier for us to raid... and please ... we'd be safe among the group."


She was doing well emotionally since her boat was destroyed. But...


though there was a little anxiety at the thought of being left behind again. And Perhaps it showed a little with the quietening of her purs for a moment only.

He wasn't ready to let go or look up for a little while. and was quiet distracted from pulling into his shell by being held.And then Addy's soft purs and Leo's churring and his voice began to sooth Duncan and he peaks sideways at the 'storm' reaching out a hand slowly and finally shifting enough to meet Addy's nuzzling, his little tail the last bit to uncurl from under his shell and begin wagging a little.


reaching as Leo protests being dragged into the conversation he is tentatively, making sure he had a hand on dad the entire time slowly reaching - feeling with a shock and pull back the heavy drops of water on his finger tips just beyond the outcropping of rock.


Studying his wet fingers, shrinking against Leo at the next round of thunder and lightning but not as terrified and licking at his wet fingers... " Water?... Dad... water..." patting Leo's shoulder to show him he'd just worked out what was on his fingers.

She is giggles again and bumping lightly into Raph a playful gentle kissing nip to his shoulder, " There is like Addy said the possibility the weather will make most that might cause a problem to us doing some hunting and gathering lazy bums and leave us alone to work."


She is feeling optimistic maybe. But being around Raph makes her happy and comfortable.

Leo had to agree with Raphael. The rain was pretty... in an impressive sort of way. And the way it smelled... it was completely different from a New York rain, or even the storms they'd had roll through when they were up at the farmhouse.

He wondered if this was because it was a Nexus jungle storm, or if Earth jungle storms smelled the same way as this did.

The grumble at Raph's comment about finishing what he started is met with a grumble that was probably not actual words. Though... as much as he hated to admit it, he sort of agreed with the little Raph. Their luck lately probably favored multi-day deluge. Still, he's in favor of at least taking a little time to see if it will blow over.

Leo smiles slightly as Addy nuzzles Duncan, and he sort of wonders if Duncan is her only target. He sort of suspects no. And when she mentions being safe among the group, he reads more out of her tone than just her words. When her purrs quiet, he's sure. Shifting Duncan slightly so the child is fully in one arm, Leo wraps the other protectively around Addy. He picks up her now quiet purr with a low, comforting churr of his own. He couldn't really blame her, not after what had happened last time they had opted to separate. There's a pause as he responds to Duncan.

"That's right, Little Ninja. Water." Kid was quiiiiick. Leo couldn't help but marvel at him as he resumed his rumbling, comforting churr.

He considers the information about trolls and goblins not liking the rain. Frankly, with this sort of rain, he doesn't much blame them. This is hard, and he's starting to worry about flash floods. He's been caught in a couple of suddenly flooding sewer tunnels, and it was a terrifying experience on his own with his brothers who he knows to be strong swimmers and mostly able to take care of themselves in the situation on their own. Addy and Lilo can't hold their breath as long, and then there's Duncan. No... best to wait... at least for now.

"Let's give it a half hour or so and see what happens. If it's still storming, we can continue then."

" If Donatello were here he'd say a whole heap of sciency nonsense that Leonardo exudes stronger pheromones and some sort of nonsense cause you know alpha and all that - I think dude just needs to spend less time practicing and more time bathing." smiiiiiiiiiiiirking widely at Leonardo exasperated glance at him and Raph - not at all the least bit worried about totally teasing his brother in blue and mayyyybe sort of Leo too, " and you too Leo got the alpha stank."


Sides it was fun to poke a little fun at them whilst they were here waiting to see how this storm plays out. And encouraging his counterpart on some more, little guy was funny!


A grin at the little guy in Leo's hold.At least the kid was becoming less and less shaky and cringy with each thunderclap and strike of lightning.

And she is comforted, pleased and surprised by the arm around her, her purr resuming its more content happy thrum but not as loud on purpose this time clearly she was more listening to his sound and finding solace in the contact and reassurance they would not be left behind.


this time the nuzzling was all Leo's along his shoulder to neck crook and a light one there muffled whisper of thanks among her purrs, and then muffled giggling hearing the continued teasing of the red clad turtles.


Protesting only mildly indignantly from her spot, " heeeeey I happen to find think Leonardo smells fine. And Leo's musk pleasing."


they could hear nymphs humming and singing between the thunder crashes and she is content to give it a bit before they move on.
