Aha! yes greeeen and puuurrrrple - he taps the bigger Leo's elbow - he must know!!

" grreeennn?" oh so wonderfully innocent but he was learning so much!! even watching the sling brought back his time there and he points into it eagerly gripping Leo with his knees and feet his hands busy tapping and pointing. "Dun cah cah annn in dere?" his playing with the c sound becoming less as he gets used to it.

Leonardo laughs softly and nudges the Leo lightly with an elbow, " funnily enough so do Mikey's." Well he couldn't be sure that included Leo's Mikey but he took a wild guess and included him just encase.

Feeling the tap taptap on his elbow and looking down to meet the little curious purple eyes. His chuckles back and he pats the little hand. " yes little one, I am also green." as far as he knew this kind of curiosity was normal so he didn't let it bother him.

Watching the demonstration closely, pretty sure he could help the other two or wear it himself should he need to.

Addy purred, her fur was less foofy by the time she was mostly done with the demonstration chuckling at the two big turtles, well mostly at Leo's slight blush and leaning over to briefly lick the little purple head, " You are a clever little fellow, Definitely not wanting to discourage his desire to learn.


Her nose twitching as she took in scent, " well I'd say the loo break was successful though... especially considering it being a drop dunny I know some kits get nervous using it." She holds out the sling. " indeed Duncan is it time for Leo to slip back in and you hop in?" grinning. Once the boy was in there they should probably make some waves about exiting the cove.

Leo laughed. "True. Mikey's too. Though mine will give up... eventually."

Once the interaction with the larger Leo was done, Leo nodded to Duncan. As Addy spoke to him.

"Yes, successful. He liked the echoes when he chirped." There was no world where Leo was about to admit that he had been more nervous about the drop dunny than Duncan had.

It didn't take as long to get into the sling this time, and as expected, he was able to do the vast majority of it by himself. It also felt a little more secure this time.

"Alright. I think we're ready." Leo commented of himself and Duncan. "Where do you want us, Addy?" He had managed the tiller on the way in, but he had to admit there had been a few dicey moments. He suspected that this new turtle would not have the same struggle he had.

Duncan didn't squirm going into the sling. And something about being on Leo's shell just soothed the little guy even if he wasn't exactly tired any more he was content and chirped quietly - chatting and practicing his new words...

Even when Addy finds some more fruit for him to munch on! something called an apple and he was enjoying trying to say it. Getting better at imitating words.

Addy grins and rubs the little head. [color#=996633]"alright let's get going the sailing should be easier past the rapids though we will have to remain up deck to keep on course by the feel of this breeze or we'll be blown back the way we came."[/color] she smiles directing Leo back to the tiller and moving to the ropes again to show Leonardo how to hold them with him there it would be less straining on herself and Leo to maintain that perfect balance of forces of wind and water to maintain movement forward back through the dangerous rush of waves.

And thus wouldn't seem to take so long and they spilled out onto the heaving ocean and she had to keep them at post for now as they worked to find a new sail angle but they were on the way again!

Leonardo laughs with his counterpart, a pretend envious tone " hah! Wish it didn't take the threat of haashi, Raph stomping, a Don zap or flips for days from me to make mine give up."

Enjoying the chance to learn about counterparts.

Though it was short lived soon the female cat had them working. Leo had never sailed in his life but he found with most things he was a quick study and listened to her instructions closely.

Rather reveling in the close calls through the rapids and pitting mere strength and mind into helping his companions see them through.

Back to the tiller, Leo gets ready to tackles the rapids again. Just before he takes his spot, he smiles and squeezes the little boy's foot again. "You ready for this, Duncan?"

Having a pretty good idea of what's coming, Leo rolls his shoulders and shakes his arms out one last time before taking the tiller. Here goes nothing.  He looks over at Addy with a slight smirk.

"Don't hit the reef, right?"

There may have been a close call or two followed by a soft bark of laughter once the immediate danger passed as they pressed onward. And in truth... it's sort of fun. He can at least understand the appeal.

" Haha! you know it good looking, no hitting the reef - unless its the drink!" Addy calls back over the rush and enjoys her companions brief moments of enjoyment, and maybe for a while whilst they travelled on a strong head wind and at a decent speed she keeps them closer tot he shore for the enjoyment of the two turtles just a bit longer, here along the reef of the shelf the ship rose and fell and mashed through some of the waves and raced along creating wake enough for Ocean Naiads, more of the 'Mermaid' variety to race along side their boat singing and piping their weird language and songs and playing in the waves.

there was fish and whales and dolphins and rays too - the reef after all was a dazzlingly pretty place.

" wooo hoooo gotta try this at home with the bros sometime!" Leonardo calls from the front, he understood the appeal now for sure, the wild free feeling of battling wind and waves and snatching themselves just out of harms way...


And the pretty pretty companions in the waters now wasn't a bad perk, Nexus wasn't home but it was nevertheless beautiful!

He wasn't comfortable with the clear adulation some creatures put into this Genio Innocuo ... but he also didn't mind it.

It had served him well among the selkie naiad women, they hadn't protested him removing their beach master, being that male for them for a little while or him hiding among them to rest.

Duncan didn't sleep this time, Leo's touch on his foot making him giggle and toes wriggle, now he watched from Leo's shell wide eyed - offering a squeal now and then threw the ride.

Of waving his bright yellow coral ball about - or his fish, having connected somewhere in the last couple of days that fish usually went in water, so when the waves rose up pas their boat he would hold out the stuffed fish to pretend it was in the waters and swimming.

Enjoying the ride as much as the older turtles!

As they passed various sea creatures, Leo would point them out to Duncan whenever he could, it wasn’t always possible, but he did manage most. Honestly, most of the creatures he had only seen in books or on TV. It was pretty incredible.

And as much as he’s enjoying the ride, he’s ready for it to end, it’s been a long day.

Duncan tried to recall all names given to things, and he did manage some.

And of course recognised, "fiiiish in wwwa taaahhh taaaah err!"

And now he was new words and animals to say went in water too!

Addy only relented when they lost the favour of the winds, she had the big powerful turtles steed them into slightly less choppy closer to shore so when they took turns resting they would not be blown or swept too far off course.

Stretching and yawning and lightly touching her nose to Leo's cheek "thanks muscles. keeping it brief so as not to get into his personal space. "we should all organise a shift for rest or we will be no good to other Leo's brother if he needs a hand " especially her and Leo.

Leonardo whooped softly letting go of ropes and all when he was told grinning at Leo and Addy, "I think I have a brand new project in mind for Donnie when we get home..." this was awesome!

He was still fresh and jazzed, pumped for more. A gentles grin at the other three though hearing Addy's words, "tell me what to watch for if you both would like to rest and I can keep guard for a while - even watch the little one if he's not ready to sleep." though if he was Leonardo had in mind a little swimming around the boat and maybe greeting a few locals that played around the boat.

This time, Leo allows the touch, and even puts his hand on Addy's shoulder.

"Rest sounds great. In... about an hour or so." Leo laughs, because even though he's tired, he's going to need a little while to calm down after the rapids.

"Hey, Duncan, how're you doing back there?" Leo starts going about getting the sling off, and the boy down, now that they're in calmer water.

Duncan is trying to keep still as Leo removes him, though he is clearly excited, giggling and grinning and as Leo is shifting him about he yays and points with his fishie to the water and even wriggles it simulating 'swimming'

chatting excitedly about ' r rraaaahhhs' and 'f iiish' and 'maaaa iiids' and just generally trying to snug Leo and nuzzle him!

A grin, she didn't feel so guilty this time about possibly being inappropriate and pats the hand on her shoulder lightly smiling at Leonardo, " that would be awesome - only... Leo is right a moment or two to relax then snooze in the rest of the sun light, I'll get some food out and drink."

Mostly water she'd noted that unexperienced sailors neither of the Leo's seemed so far interested in the strong spirits or syrupy sort of alcohols. And no way was she bringing them out whilst the boy was awake in any case. and well okay mostly assuming for the larger Leonardo.

She chuckles at the childs excitement and moves off to make something lighter to eat, mostly cold salted meat slices, flat breads, pickles and some dried leafs and salad things to wrap in the bread with the meat for the turtles. She would just eat the meat and bread herself.

So it was less on separate bowls and more just a wooden chopping board to sit and share together the jug of fresh water and some cups. One was going to have to share witht he little guy.

Calling the turtles over just in time for when the boy was down and off the sling.

Leonardo grins and nods moving to assist Leo if and when he needed to help the little fellow out of the sling chuckling at little guys excitement and Leo's words, " Adrenaline am I right?"

He knew it was why he was feeling as pumped and eager for more, but even so he was looking forward to the calm down and just enjoying being off the island he'd landed on and getting to see some more of this world.

Maybe swimming a bit.

Not arguing with either Addy or Leo about the cool off period suggested.

And he certainly could eat! a belly rumble when Addy called over to them letting the Leo and Duncan lead the way over.

”Thank you, Addy.” Leo called as she went to get some food.

He accepts the other turtle’s help in getting Duncan down, then gathers the little guy in his arms and nuzzles him before responding to Leonardo’s comment.

“Oh... so much.” He can feel his hands shaking when he doesn’t force them still. That is something he hasn’t had happen in a long time. ”It’s been awhile since I’ve had that sort of good adrenaline rush.” Adrenaline in a fight was different. That wasn’t a fun rush like this. This was amazing.

“How about you, Wiggly. What’d you think of that?” He asked Duncan, who seemed as spun on adrenaline as he felt. He couldn’t help but laugh as he carried Duncan over to where Addy had lain out some food. He sat the boy down and filled a cup with water, offering it to Duncan first.

Her smile was wide and her fluffly tail brushed against the two big turtles and she purrs a little chewing on some meat, "glad you's enjoyed the rush, it can be so very scary for some, and for crazies the wrong kind the intoxicating thrill... It is a sort of breathlessness inducing sort of fun. We made good item on the wind coming out too.

Watching Leo sit Duncan with a cup he'd handled the water skins okay after the first few tries this would be his first cup she gathered.

"your brother's island up here has a large port attached to it, huge fishing and ocean materials trade. It won't be wise to dock... but might be able to anchor out and skip in or swim at night to look for him." somewhat a statement but a questioning one pretty certain the turtles didn't want to be out in public much if at all.

Leonardo half grins, half chuckles and it was a sort of naughty grin, " I'd say for me too but I have discovered some thrilling ways for a good rush in the last week or so on the home world... and here."


Following the Mikey sized Leo over to the food, female and drink. Her tail was soft and he turned as he sat to run his hand along it lightly, cool!

Listening as she spoke and deleting a bit of meat and bread and a bit of the salads smiling at the little boy with the cup. "yeah I got the sense among those selkies even looking like a ... um Genio Innocuo tends to draw attention. Of course I am just guessing their adulation could have been because I removed the old beach master who had intended to kill all pups because they were not his." Leo wonders idly with a glance at Duncan if he'd left pups with those females for next season.

Nah... he was...

Fairly sure naaaah.

"and Raph won't hang near a civilization if he is unsure of himself, and hearing he was angry it's a sure sign he is afraid and unsure." cause that's how Raph sometimes showed he was unsure.

Agreeing to the cat girls idea glancing at Leo to see if he had more to add.

Duncan was indeed extremely wiggly, he even nods and bounces on his butt and waggly tail when Leo sits him down, curiously reaching for the cup and holding it, [color=#8B008B]" faaank ooou."[/color he says brightly recalling that the big people about him had said that to each other all throughout the day whenever one handed something to the other. He thought he'd give it a go! and now he had water...

To drink he guessed but this seemed to need a different purse of lips to edge... and his first attempt he slopped some water on himself and spluttered a little on it.

Sneezing a couple of times!

Leo wasn't sure what to make of the first statement for awhile. It was only after the explanation of the ousting of the Beach Master that it all clicked. And he did an admirable job of keeping his thoughts and reactions on the less than responsible behavior to himself.

"I definitely drew some of the wrong sort of attention in the town I was in briefly. It seems to be a mixed bag of people who adore the Genio Innocuo and people who want to capture us."

He then took a moment to focus on Duncan. "You're welcome." Leo replied with a smile as Duncan accepted the water. And he couldn't help but laugh as the child figured out the cup.  "Yeah, cups are a little different. You've got it though." After the boy sneezed, Leo wrapped an arm around Duncan's shoulders and kissed the little guy on top of the head before he had even realized what he was doing.

He looked up at his larger counterpart again.  "I can go with you if you want another pair of eyes, out there, but this is your brother, your charge."

again his eyes watched the little turtle a far away look in his eyes, he huffs a little, still unsure if he should be worried as up until he saw the small turtle he'd not thought such things were a possibility, turning eyes on Addy, " tell me more about the Genio Innocuo please, and anything about the those Naiad Selkies?' he would start there before he worried about possible hybrid pups.

Eyes moving from Addy to Leo and breathing deep and deliberately with some noise a little in thought. " yes come along, encase we run into trouble but hang back when we get closer to my brother, I doubt he would hurt you on purpose whether he mistakes you for our Mikey or as a trick. But he is a big turtle." awwwwing a little at the affection Leo gave the little turtle who was doing a good job at drinking if this was his first time with a cup.

It clicked slower for Addy and she was halfway through a meat roll and nudging the platter towards Leo to encourage him to eat and get the little guy munching too as she repeated much she said to Leo earlier. " well Genio Innocuo are Nexus turtle creatures, I've never seen a real one aside from you look a likes, they spread cheer and good luck when they visit and are scholars, warriors... wise and brave and you will find many willing to almost do anything for one, or even some one not one but looks like one as with Erica the white damonfeuer you saw in the distance and who alerted us to you being on that beach. Aside those at the moment willing to capture yous of course." She giggled a little when it clicked for her too, " Well ... selkie naiads usually live in the deep freezing waters, they live mostly solitary there hunting and fishing. We fisher folks usually only see them around this time of year when they return to their beaches of birth to birth their own, very few male naiad selkies make it to adult hood, and even less attain massive breeder size."

She nawwwws with Leonardo at Leo and Duncan giggling at the little guys attempts with the cup. " I wouldn't be too concerned if you performed beach master duties. You did them an enormous honor, even if not a Genio Innocuo. It would have been a gross insult to not after saving what was left of their pups this year and removing the cruel beach master."

Listening to talk about Raph and smiling, " might be wiser I think for me to remain on the boat, keep guard. Would you be leaving Duncan too? though, surely this Raph wouldn't even unintentionally be rough with such a cutie?"

Giggled and spluttering a little Duncan proudly showed off to Leo he'd finished the water, true some had trickled down his chin and throat and down plastron from there and pooled near his tail but once he had figured out the cup he had gulped very thirstily at the then two thirds of water taking gasping breaths towards the end but finishing and now pointing at the top of the cup as Leo hugged him and the little purple turtles eager pointing out that the cup had a " sssiii rrr caah cahh llleee." tracing the circle shape of the top of the cup - it stopped at the kiss and the little guy blinked, a oh face in place as he tries to work out this latest new thing... and decided he liked it...

Pursing his lips and making 'fishies' face in what he thought was the same action.

As Leo listened to the information regarding Genio Innocuo and Selkies, he accepted some of the food that Addy had put out. Again, he is keeping his thoughts to himself. No one involved is from his world. And clearly the cultures are different. He still doesn't approve, but... not his monkeys, not his circus.

He nods agreement when the other turtle's plan of action regarding finding the other Raph.  He might be smaller than these other turtles, but Leo has fought his share of overly large, strong opponents before and isn't terribly concerned. That said, he is not terribly interested in getting into that sort of fight either.  He then considers Addy's concern. "As far as Duncan's safety on the island... I would worry less about a Raphael than about locals we may come across. I think he would be safer here on the boat if you could watch him again? That would free me up to assist Leonardo too if things get ugly."

He then smiles down at Duncan, who has finished his water and started making kissy faces. He has to laugh at the face. "That's right. That's a circle. You are a very smart young man. You remind me of... Donnie..."

Shell... he hoped his brother was alright... His brothers could take care of themselves. He knew that, but he worried anyway. Don was different though. With Don he had reason to worry. That blast, whatever it was, had been powerful.  He shakes his head, refusing to dwell on those thoughts.

"May I have the cup for a moment please, Duncan?" Leo definitely needed some water after taking on the rapids. And now that the child had been given some, he could allow himself water as well..

Leo grins, " Well can't say I am not... somewhat pleased then to maybe had created more Genio Innocuo... but when this mess is over, can I have the name of the beach - I want to be back there next pupping season." No way would he leave possible hybrids of his to be murdered by another beach master. If that meant venturing back into this world on his own in the future he would.

Maybe his brothers would come. Either way. " thanks Addy... and No Raphael would never hurt a child. My Raph can be big, blustering and over bearing, and very physical when he wants to which is generally all the time but he would go to extreme lengths not to hurt a little one."

And those two thoughts out of his mind for now, or at least courses of actions decided upon for now he smiles watching Leo and Duncan, noting Leo's words and when the shake of head occurred, he was just thinking a hybrid or two of his own wouldn't be a awful thing when he adds to Leo, " think your brothers are okay? slight hesitation of Donnie's name..."

Leo looked over at his counterpart. He'd been busted, though it wasn't terribly surprising.

"My brothers are capable. They can take care of themselves... But when Erica was here..." He glances over at Addy. "I don't know what it was. But... I was blown off my feet. It was something Don had done, he set it in motion. That's all I know. I don't know what it was, what it meant or if he... or if he's okay."

He takes a moment to pull himself together again, giving Duncan another hug before taking him over to Addy.

"But there's nothing I can do about it here. Let's go get your brother." That was something he could do. Something different to occupy his mind. It gave him a focal point for the moment.

Addy grinned, " Of course I can keep an eye on the little guy, we'll stay out of sight mostly on board whilst yous are on sure, and glad to hear it Leonardo."

She was surprised and touched Leonardo was going to bother following up on his brief tenure as beach master, " well that would add to the mystic of the Genio Innocuo as a whole, no other beach master has ever bothered to return to the same beach or actually be around for his pups. the place is Taree Lagoon named for the taree fruit Trees growing among the dunes."

Nodding then and looking worried, " it was quiet alarming... and it's been worrying him ever since."

Duncan sensed a need for some comfort and quiet eagerly as he holds the cup out to Leo proudly mumbling circle circle cirle to himself he also moves his other arm with the fishie stuffy in there around the big turtles shoulders and rests head against plastron, churring tiny kitty like churrs and quiet happily ignoring most the chatter being as most of it went over his head.

Except the word brothers, that he caught and mumbled a few times, recalling his own and not understanding the emotions he felt over their absence.

Leo grinned at Addy, "Thanks, and I intend to change the standard of BeachMasters," oh yeah he so would!

A softer grin at Leo and then a thoughtful hummm as he watches the little guy try to snuggle him, obviously he sensed something, "hooowwww.... close are you and your brothers spiritually? And why had I not thought of this before?" oh right he had been distracted being in a new place having new beings all over him and new brief duties.

He'd meditated briefly in the down times on his situation but being assured of his brothers he hadn't tried reaching out to them spiritually, probably about time he did if nothing else just to feel what their feeling right now, and wondering if Leo could do the same. Take some pressure and worry off himself too. They could do it together if so, the strength of both of them should help.

"Thank you, Addy. Those words were getting oh so familiar... He was feeling this whole thing was very one-sided, and he didn't really like that.

Leo felt Duncan moving around and snuggling, and he hugged the child securely, accepting comfort so freely offered in that hug, and offering his own in return. He then looked up at Leonardo's question. "We can reach out to each other, but... I've never tried it when they weren't also meditating." Leo laughed a little bitterly. "And none of them, Don included, will meditate without reason." Though clearly he had had some sort of reason earlier. Though perhaps... if he could catch them while they were asleep... hmm...

Leonardo grinned and nodded, " Mine do not either without due cause, I hope other Leo's have had better luck with that somewhere in the multiverse." He chuckles and thinks over their options, " Still for what I have in mind we don't need them to reach back out to us. Just, get a sense of how they are doing. Of course some might realise what's happening they might feel the familiarity and try to reach back. But in any case we can assure ourselves their in reasonable health." more of offering to do so with Leo as a bit of support as much as doing so to get a sense of his own brothers.

Grinning at the little guy and looking at Addy. " you have done a lot for us, we must be able to repay somehow... sometime..." Seeing if she had any ideas what they could do for her.

Smiling at the little guy and Leo cuddling. " he's bonded with you."

His little tail wagged and he buries his face into the crook of Leo's shoulder and neck with a happy sound just enjoying the contact and comfort sharing his smaller hands - one with a stuffed fish clutched in it, resting on the back of Leo's shoulders almost under the lip of his carapace.

Leo frowned as he listened. It sounded possible. And really, at this point, he was willing to try anything to know his brothers were okay.

'I'm willing to give it a try. Thank you. And yes, Addy. Please... if there's anything we can do?" He still intends to take out Draco before they leave, but he doesn't necessarily intend to involve these other turtles. And it sure wasn’t anything just for Addy’s benefit. He wants something they can do just for her.

When the other turtle mentions that Duncan has bonded with him, Leo looks down at the boy. Yes... yes it did seem to be the case. And he had bonded with the child.

"It's not one-sided..." Leo admits quietly, holding the boy snugly for a moment before looking back at Leonardo.

"But, we should go get your brother." Then though he was loath to leave the little turtle at the moment, he spoke to the boy again. "Duncan, I need you to go with Addy for awhile. I need to go help find one of Leonardo's brothers." And the sooner that happened, the sooner they could get on their way, the sooner they could search for the others.

He then moved to offer the child to Addy.

Duncan pouted, even though hungry he had ignored it for this snuggling...

However he thought he understood, looking between the Leo's and then at his own hands and thinking deeply on all of Leo's words for a few moments before nodding "brroooffers?"

His brothers, he missed them, he didn't have words for the depth of that lonely feeling without his hatch and play mates, but he did know they weren't there and he did notice, and so he guessed big turtles felt so too, looking back up and that was about as serious as a toddler could manage his nodding very obvious head movements. " yeees broffers!" smiling at Addy, he didn't mind hanging with her, she was soft and played with him and fed him at the slightest sound of a whine.

And last time he called for Leo he came right back!

A smile, glad for that, " It'll be good to meditate with someone actually interested and willing to participate. Pretty sure Splinter has felt this way more than once himself too."

he chuckles lightly at his counterparts admission, maybe he was rather excited himself at the prospect of his own... maybe...

" Well children are said to be intuitive in the most uncensored sense so perhaps as much as he clearly needs the bod he recognised you did too." fond sort of smile then " My Mikey is still young at heart and seems to be quiet intuitive himself at times so I guess its true." He stands slowly. Eager for this, eager to get to shore, though unlike the lagoon he and Leo would have to swim quiet a aways to reach the shore. Still he got why Addy kept them away fromt he settlements in the distance and other boats.

it was busy in this part of the waters, though their host had chosen a spot still too far out to attract attention, he and Leo could be gone half a day or more trying to find Raphael here. Still.

The sooner they got to it the better.

He felt ...uneasy with leaving the lone female Klaustreich and small boy alone though.

Addy looked between the two turtles and beams purring, "I'll think of something - and I swear it wont be embarrassing or dishonourable... well at least I hope not." In regards to repayment for what she was doing to help them out.

Though she would have been happy if they offered nothing, she was getting their labour in helping to sail for free, travelling again in the way she loved and on this incredible adventure with Genio Innocuo... Not Genio Innocuo !

She was a very lucky klaustreich and eagerly accepted Duncan from Leo, " eeeee and more hugs from this little guy1 - hah I think that damonfeuer liked what she saw with the little guy I think she would like to have mini not Genio Innocuos of her own..." mostly as a after thought, and so amused by it snuggling the little guy to her soft furry body.

She was hoping to make the parting easier on Leo and Duncan by ensuring the boy wouldn't fuss too much so of course she rolled him a little bit of meat and bread and pickle together to chew on and distract him for the moment.

"Oh... I'm sure mine has been frustrated on more than one occasion." Leo smiled.

Leo rubbed Duncan's head and nodded to the comment on children's intuition. "You miss your brothers, huh? Yeah... I miss my brothers too."

He smiled yet another silent 'thank you' to Addy and turned to Leonardo. He didn't like this situation, and leaving Addy and the boy alone did make him a little nervous, but he set his jaw. He had a job to do.

"Let's go." Before he has too much more time to think about this and change his mind.

Nodding Leonardo decides not to linger longer that it would take for a mind change, offering a silent chance for his counterpart to stay.

But set of jaw.

It was time to go.

And so off they went.

Leonardo doffing an imaginary hat to Addy and Duncan as he hopped lightly unto the edge of the boat.

Wondering indeed if the white damonfeuer had been so willing to help because she wanted little turtle hybrids. Amusing.

But not the time for that! He shoves it aside doing a perfect swan dive off the edge of the boat keeping his swim strokes slow at fort for his fellow Leo to catch up then they could swim side by side at first battle current and waves then as they drew closer to shore going with the waves rushing that way!

She held the little guy waving, a little nervous herself but keeping the boy in her sights she sat him carefully with the food for a moment there was nothing hot amongst it he would hurt himself with and she had just though one way to keep some nosey boats from venturing too close for a while was to hoist the flag for fishing.

It was a standard

Used by fishing boats to signal others their may be nets or lines in the waters and it was easier to stay back.

It would at least assure most vessels would stay clear.

For a time anyways.

As much as he understands this was important he still pouted around his food, big violet eyes watching Leo go one hand busy guiding the roll of food into his mouth the other copying Addy's wave though hesitantly not sure what it meant.

Leo returns the wave and shoots Addy and Duncan an apologetic look. "We'll be back as soon as we can." A second look to Addy, begs her to keep Duncan safe.

Before he can lose his nerve, he jumps to the railing and dives off after his counterpart.

He swims calmly, but quickly and it doesn't take long to catch up with his counterpart. There's a stronger current here than there was in the cove, and early on in their swim, it is a little bit of a battle. He's noticed a difference in the sea life here. It's not quite as vigorous as the cove had been. And definitely not as vibrant as the reef. In fact, it almost looks like something is missing. Like something important has been removed. Though he doesn't know what and he doesn't dwell on the curiosity.

As they get closer to shore, he catches a wave and rides it into shore. Once there, he automatically moves to a less open position, keeping an eye on his counterpart, and looking to him for instruction.  Leo is not in charge of this mission, and he's perfectly capable of being a follower when the need arises.

Seeking out a spot with Leo, Leonardo chews his lip and looks about the beach, he couldn't see any sign his brother had been here...

He gestures for Leo to fall in with him as he moves along the scant cover provided by shrubbery that obviously spent some of its time under a tide moving up towards the trees, and foliage that reminded him of the type he might have seen on discovery and other documentary channels, mangrove?

tangled roots and think mud and sand and thick canopy above.

He glances around the beach again and then at Leo, " I'm going to call for my brother - just um... I don't want to startle you and we may have to move after wards encase it calls attention to any locals living in an around the trees okay?" He waits for an okay before doing the call sniffing the air and listening, he couldn't scent his brother, even faintly.

So if he had been out on the beach he's gone into hiding somewhere. And they could spend half a day or more searching. Raph was huge but he could hide when he wanted to. Or Leo could do a sound only they knew and see if he got a reaction.

They were gone.

She and given Leo a fluffy tail and winky good luck flirty -

but now it was just her and the little one and she was aware of the other vessels and the business around them even if she and Duncan were out of sight from most and with the flag up shouldn't be approached without due cause.

Still she keeps an eye out as she makes sure the little guy is distracted from the missing Leo and Leonardo, feeding him well and good.

Duncan ate until he was full then crawled close to Addy and snuggled against her. He had his ball and fish and his paper to write on, he didn't know she sat them up here so she could keep a watch out both ways and or listen, all he knew was he could see the waves and the beach and boats. Addy called them boats.

And he was busy trying to write his L's still and D's
